Do you think Charles and Carlos will shed a few tears after Abu Dhabi?

I think they might, of course I do. I think Carlos is a very emotional guy even though he was brought up to be closed off about his feelings (and he really did his utmost to challenge those beliefs and he's shown that he no longer needs to be closed off to be taken seriously in this sport). And now with what we've seen from Charles? Oof. There *will* be tears. They were about to break in Bahrain and it's just the beginning of the year, anon. They will have to swap helmets by the end of the year and I'm willing to bet actual money in them hugging and mayble breaking during the hug. Yeah. I mean, in the car, during the whole chili debacle, I'd bet if Charles were to touch Carlos to reassure him, my man would've cracked. Because that's what I do, if I'm *this* close to crying and someone dares to touch me I break like a dam.

Or maybe they won't show the tears. Maybe. But I don't know, they were teary-eyed during Bahrain. I can't even start to think that they would be able to hold off crying until there's no cameras when their emotions are running that high, especially since it will be their last race as teammates. We will be crying, absolutely, and they probably will, too. 😅

You draw people’s faces so SO accurately and I was wondering how you practice that. When I try, I can get it to vaguely look like the person I’m attempting to draw, but you’re typically spot on.

thank you so so much! i will gladly walk you through my very silly process hahah!

okay so!! firstly i photobash my reference and i will usually do my best to find photos of faces from the angles i need them for the particular piece — it’s a lot easier to get the features right than when you (for example) try to draw a side profile off a portrait photo!

(yo this looks so funny)

then i will trace (yes trace! tracing is not inherently evil and can be SUPER helpful with speeding up the process and getting the placement of things right :) the very basics of the faces and the pose — don’t get too detailed with that honestly the simpler the better! you don’t want to get too caught up in perfect accuracy but rather just get the general feeling of what goes where!

then i will turn off the reference layer in the drawing app (but still have it opened as a separate window so i can keep looking at it) and keep refining the features — as you can see i do change and exaggerate certain features to fit my style — the key is to focus on the unique features of the character you’re drawing because these are the things that will make them recognisable! for example with kendall it’s his nose and eyes and lip shape!

i will usually keep refining stuff as i do my lineart and colouring — just keep looking at the references you have and keep comparing with what you have on your canvas!

as you can see i never end up with an exact copy of my reference but because i try my best focus on the specific features of the characters i draw they end up pretty recognisable :) it does take a lot of time and practice so don’t get discouraged! i’m still learning A LOT!

ghost investigators au tubbo fully does not believe in ghosts which annoys the shit out of cellbit, considering a solid 90% of their investigations end with SOME kind of supernatural entity being involved and 50% of the time this entity tries to kill them. tubbo consistently comes up with increasingly batshit smoke and mirror tricks that could explain away the supernatural (to which cellbit responds THAT IS SO MUCH MORE UNBELIEVABLE THAN A GHOST WTF). tubbo and ramon somehow always manage to pull off these tricks in fit's auto shop, which at this point doubles as a mad science lab along with its original secret purpose of Testing Thing Go Boom. sometimes dapper helps them, because dapper thinks tubbo's complete stubborn denial is hilarious.
