Well, it's official. I have Shingles. AGAIN.
For those not in the loop, I've had Shingles once before, in March of 2023. 3 weeks ago, I attempted to get the vaccine for Shingles from my VA doctor, who point-blank refused, in direct opposition to CDC guidelines. So, now, I get to suffer through this disease once again.
If you value Veterans, don't thank us for our service. Contact your state and federal elected officials, and make it clear that your vote for them is dependant on their record in regards to veteran care.
We don't need words. We need actions.

Status update for FY2024
All bills have cleared the House Subcommittees. All but four have cleared Senate Committees, and all but two have cleared House Committees. None have been voted on on the floor yet, but that may change with H.R. 4366, Military Construction/Veterans funding, now being debated. https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/4366
We are just over two months out but there are signs of progress, but little optimism.
