For the love of God, Sebastian, don't go out like this during winter. Here, better now.

I don’t understand comic art. It’s almost always terrible but nobody else seems to think so? It usually looks like someone’s rough sketches except... it’s the finished art? Is it just like, that’s the standard, that’s what counts as good art in comics? It’s fine if this character’s eyes are looking in different directions or if their entire face is squished because meh, who cares about details?
I always end up reading comics thinking, why is it so BAD and why does no one else seem to think so, what am I missing, what does everyone else see in this art that I don’t, I don’t get it

Came back wrong this, came back monstrous that
What if they came back loving? What if they came back in love. What if the necromancy worked and you cheated death and it's everything you've ever wanted, but now they love you in a way they never did before and you cannot know if that is because they finally know the lengths you are willing to go for them, or because something in this deathless magic bound their soul to yours to guide them home and it left them no. choice.

Learning to internalize the message above, but art is in all of our bones. If you feel afraid to create art because it won't be "good enough," it's worth it to explore why you feel that fear. Creating art is one of the basic impulses of people, and if you want to create art, then you absolutely must.
