Not quite a tape talk, but I did splurge on some physical media today. Diamond Dogs is my favorite Bowie album and I am ashamed to say that I did in fact pog when I came across it. Tonight is pretty decent; I like Blue Jean and Loving the Alien. Into Darkness is… certainly a DVD that I paid six bucks for 👍
The shop I found these in also had a MASSIVE horror DVD selection that I will be returning to once I’ve got a good enough DVD setup to actually bother buying movies I can enjoy.
While I was looking through these, I heard a dad asking his children (probably around 9-12?) if they had seen Saw, because he found a DVD set with “all eight” Saw movies. A glimpse into a beautiful life.

(If you’re unfamiliar, Art Fight is an annual art game that takes place for the whole month of July. The site is split into two teams, and you get points for drawing art for members of the opposing team. You should never pick a gnome up by their hat because it puts too much stress on their skeleton. Gnomes should only be picked up by the torso, using strong gloves to prevent bites and scratches. If you receive a bite from a gnome, immediately flush it with water and apply an antibiotic.
