Pssst... pssssssst...
I have another Platonic Yandere Wings of Fire/X-Men AU ~ ! How about an au where Reader is a dragonet who is an outcast of their tribe due to a rare condition in their tribe that they hatched with? (a la Chameleon from Book 8: Escaping Peril)
They were outcasted, looked down upon, ostracized, possibly bullied and abused, due to their rare condition... Yet one day they either leave or are banished or chased away, and they stumble on a rare animus-touched item that can grant them a power they've always wanted...
To be a normal dragon with normal powers, or even a dragon with rare, mighty powers.
They end up creating a form/mask for each tribe, one that is enchanted to highlight certain parts of their personality in that form and to be able to fit in without sticking out too much... They keep the enchantment in a necklace or bracelet that is always on them, and has a different gem or charm that will spread its color to the rest, to indicate they are that tribe that at the moment (ex. red ruby or garnet means a SkyWing, opal means a RainWing, orange/yellow amber for HiveWing, etc.)
Ideas for what rare condition they could have ranges like this:
MudWing: blood red egg makes them fire/burnproof; snout deformity makes it so they can't hold their breath for an hour; was born without fire; hatched without sibs...
SandWing: hatched without their venom barb; hatched with albino/melanistic/dark golden scales; hatched with six claws...
SkyWing: hatched with too much fire/hatched with too little fire; has crippled/deformed wings; has paler scales than most SkyWings...
SeaWing: hatched with a deformed tail; has trouble swimming; hatched with odd scale colors (bright acid/lime green, indigo, extremely pale blue/green, etc.)...
RainWing: snout deformity where they can't change colors; inability to produce acid/venom...
IceWing: melansitic/darker scales; difficulty breathing frostbreath; odd patterns/eyes/colors...
NightWing: albino/pale scales; not hatched with any full moon powers; hatched under three full moons...
HiveWing: odd scale colors (bright gold-green, greenish-black, reddish-pink); albino/melanistic, odd power or no powers...
SilkWing: melanistic; deformed wings/wingbuds; inability to produce silk/is a flamesilk...
LeafWing: odd scale colors (amber brown, pink-red, gold); odd leafspeak/no leafspeak; deformed tail or wings...
Reader would have a mask (enchanted form) of each tribe, with its own name, color, size, abilities and personality, all a little different if not completely different, and each with a carefully crafted backstory. Reader made sure each of these forms were more or less "perfect" (undeformed/common/accepted). Some forms have fun powers, some are more down to earth, but all are crafted to match Reader and hide them, transforming them into a new dragon each time they change.
I'm going to call this the 🎭Jekyll and Hyde🐉 AU... And it's 🥚Tiny Talons🐉 variation is called the 🥚Tiny Rainbow🌈 AU...

some killjoys past headcanons part 2!!!! doing ghoul this time
last time i did the venom sibs and its my most popular post to this day so its time for my favourite little guy to be in the spotlight. i love him a lot okay
ghoul was born in a mexican family, who lived in the us close to the frontier. he had an older sister, a father and a mother.
ghoul was around four years old when BLI found them. his parents got killed but managed to get him and his sister to escape.
they catched them pretty quickly, though, and his sister got killed as well. they left him in the desert with some minor injuries, thinking he would die from dehydratation or get eaten by the rare animals that were still left in the desert at the time.
turns out he didnt. he somehow managed to stay alive. he barely knew how to talk, couldnt walk for long and had pretty much never interacted with people apart of his family.
he survived next years eating pretty much only trash, sleeping in the desert and running away from every people he saw from fear of being killed like his family. he got a lot of the scars he has to this day in thoses times
and one day, he met kobra.
if you didnt read my previous post and are too lazy to, kobra escaped gravel gerties (where he was living with party and jet and from where he had pretty much never gotten out) and got lost in the desert.
ghoul didnt know how to react when he saw kobra, but there was something about him- maybe the way he walked, slightly bent like he was scared of something, maybe the way his eyes darted from side to side like he didnt know where he was- he just knew kobra wasnt a threat.
ghoul treated human and animals the same way; and the best thing he thought of for making sure, completely sure that kobra wasnt dangerous was throwing an empty can down the hill, like for a dog, and when he saw that kobra actually went and got it, he got completely rid of any fear he had left.
ghoul didnt know how to talk. he remembered a few words of spanish, but all thoses years of being completely by himself made him forget pretty much everything.
kobra didnt really care, though. its not like he was good at talking either.
(also ghoul was around 14 at the time and kobra was 15)
they spent the next three months together, ghoul learning kobra how to survive (lots of the things he learned with ghoul saved his life later) and kobra learning ghoul how to do basic things like talk properly, act like a "civilized" person, etc
when kobra find his way back to gravel gerties, and found party and jet, ghoul thought he was going to be alone again. and weirdly, it terryfied him. because he had gotten used to kobras present, to the feeling of having someone watching your back, to the sensation of waking up and not being freezing cold, to have someone to hug. he didnt want to be alone.
and then kobra offered him to stay. and he just couldnt refuse, because he was tired, tired of having to worry about not being seen, tired to not know if you were going to eat next day, tired to not be able to really live.
and he accepted.
at first, ghoul was really startled by everything around- the people, mostly- but he got used to it. a lot was thanks to jet, who took special care of him, learning him to read and write and talk. and ghoul was happy, to have people who cared, people like party and jet and kobra.
he did have some troubles. he got in fights a lot, he has abandomnent issues and is scared of being alone. he has a lots of nightmares- and cant sleep in complete darkness.
he managed his anger by going to the zones fight ring. yes because i think theres a zone fight ring and if you disagree i will punch you

— Mudwing dragonets aren't completely independent, and do receive education. Adult troops take apprentices to teach them their crafts. In capital dragonets are taught in family-owned schools.
— They believe in the afterlife: deceased dragons visit their sibs to comfort them appearing in the living world as birds.
— They are protective of sisters while they are pregnant with eggs. In some regions, prone to scavenger attacks, Mudwings keep guarding the nest until hatching
— They often put small venomous snakes like adders in their nests. Snakes get rats, martens, and other animals who try to harm the eggs and bite bigger animals like scavengers and dogs. Adders aren't that big of a threat to dragonets because of their size, and dragonets do not consider snakes nutritious enough to hurt, and they usually coexist, sometimes snakes are kept as a replacement for domestic cats.
— Mudwings, being omnivorous, have various festivals related to nature and earth in particular: opening of sowing season, honey and fruit fairs, harvest festival. The ones who live in the northern parts, selebrate awakening of the earth in spring and say goodbye to it in the first snow, as winter hibernation is also a part of nature cycle.
— They have rituals of welcoming loners into family as new sibs including special greetings, oaths, and exchanging gifts.
— While Seawings and Nightwings see in the dark, and Skywings see the farthest, Mudwings and Rainwings have the best color vision of all, due to having fresh fruits in their diet. They are better at differentiating hues. You need to see colors really well to tell good and ripe fruit from the rest. Former volcano Nightwings, who are primarily predators and scavengers, are more prone to colorblindness.
— Chameleon could carry Leafwing genes due to either his parents both being related to them at some extent or him being a hybrid. This was the cause of his lack of color changing abilities, as we see he was having enough rest during his short naps to keep himself relatively healthy.

Just. My love and my hate for you are infinite. Yeah. Classic case of siblings that have been through hell. They want each other dead but they'd die for eachother, theyd kill themselves before letting the other one die.
Deadly fucking fighters, they're an awesome team, like if youve ever seen, idk, guardians of the galaxy movies, the newest one especially, this is just the first example that popped into my head, but like i remember the fight scenes were choreographed really well and theyre just. A fucking team. And they move around eachother and can fight without talking because they know eachother so well and understand and they move like one being, like they share a mind, all twisting and ducking around eachother and taking out enemies and its all seamless. Kobra and Poison are like that and are fucking deadly, especially with the mix of their abilities, Poison's deadly shot and Kobra's close range process, like theyll be back to back but twisting around eachother and poison shoots down the dracs hiding behind cover or shooting from furthur, while Kobra moves around like a serpent and takes out those who run in to try their luck, just getting cut down by his blade or boot or his power glove, if they manage to get that close. Fights seem to be over in seconds and they've laid waste to many a squad of dracs together.

They're both naturally blond but while Kobra likes his blonde hair Poison HATES theirs, so they dye it every color under the sun, expect for..
If its a story where its less diluted by death spells and they love eacother, then they have matching hair streaks, Kobra the same red dye that Poison uses, and Poison just doesn't dye a strand of theirs, since their blonde matches.
Usually Poisons seen as the more dramatic one, but kobras just as bad, they're total bitches, nobody can gossip and shit talk like they can, and Kobra might actually be sassier than Poison is.
Trans in opposite directions and they find it so funny, Poison hates that Kobras taller though, because "You're my Little brother, you should be shorter than me :("
They both have a crippling addiction to chewing bubble gum.
They know everything about each other, like everything, even things unintentionally, like poison will completely fucking make up a fake situation and use it as blackmail against Kobra as a joke but then kobras like HOW DO YOU FUCKING KNOW THAT and poisons like wait you actually DID that???? I made it up?? And its like the most weird absurd thing ever that they just came up with for fun and. This has happened like several times. Where it turns out its real, they just guessed it, probably unconsciously mind read it, because they're like that. I think they do that a lot, like sometimes they have no clue what the other is thinking or going through but sometimes they're fucking mindmelded and can like read everything theyre thinking and communicate with just their eyes and shit and have entire silent conversations.

My least favorite tribe by appearance alone is the Mudwings. They’re too bulky for my tastes really. So naturally I needed to make OCs that are half Mudwing. So meet my grump Platypus and his sunshine gf Mangabey. Platypus is obviously based on the Platypus, and has the venom to prove it. One of my headcanons is that Seawings can be born with venomous barbs or tendrils (like a lot of aquatic fauna). Mangabey is based on the monkey of the same name. Specifically, the Golden-bellied Mangabey, a type of white-eyelid mangabey. These monkeys are know to live in coastal and swampy habitats. So basically, monkey (Rainwing) and swamp (Mudwing).
Platypus is ugly and everyone has always had no trouble reminding him of that. Born to a colony of Seawings living along the coastline of the Mud Kingdom, and before some more famous hybrids (like Sunny), his mother managed to get away with the old “birth defects” excuse to explain his appearance. His murky colors and messy body type made him the target of much bullying growing up. Eventually leading to him becoming bitter and quick to judge others. He moves inland since he’s poorly adapted to underwater living and isn’t fond of his community anyways.
On the other end of the spectrum, we have the magnificent Mangabey. As the only egg in her clutch, she was born an “unsib” and was forced to find her own “family”. Fortunately meeting a sib group that was missing a member and was willing to take her in. She is a couple years younger than them, but fits in well. They never let anyone question their strange baby sister. Mangabey takes the role of “communicator” in her family, being charismatic and intelligent. Thanks to the close bonds between Mud siblings, Mangabey grew up loving herself despite the opinions of others.
When she meets the cynical stick in the mud, Platypus, she tries to befriend him immediately. Unfortunately, the last thing he wanted was a pretty best friend, or so he said. Eventually she wears him down and they grow fonder. Her siblings were unsure at first, since Mudwings aren’t known for monogamy and Platypus was as friendly as a crocodile, but they came around. Now Platypus is usually included in the family matters and is much happier.

My girl Puddle and her sibs! I hid a bunch of lore below the cut because I can’t stop talking about them. I’m sure I’ll make full body drawings for the other siblings sometime soon.
These are Milkweed and Canopy’s kids, all from the same hatching. I imagine because they are hybrids that the sibling group would be a bit smaller. I also tried to give them names that relate to both the marsh and the rainforest. I also made the assumption that each dragon can either have venom or fire, not both (because that would be OP but also I think the fire would denature the venom? Either way it’s a trade off). They all live with Milkweed’s sibling group near the edge of the mudwing kingdom. Canopy lives there too and commutes to work in the rain forest (which I imagine is pretty easy for a dragon). I imagine the siblings would be omnivores, with some preferring meat or fruit more. Dew drop is probably vegetarian though.
Plaintain is the big wings (I was excited to find out that plantains grow in the swamp and the rainforest. The marsh version is called a mudplantain.). He is tall and lanky like his dad with some fun stripes of rainwing scales over his mudwing scales. He has fire breathing, but mostly looks like a rainwing. He’s a pretty serious guy and can be a bit self important, but he loves his siblings and worries over them. He loves to study and wants to do something very important and scholarly, whether that be a job in academia or going into politics or law. His blue and purple scales reflect his calm but proud nature.
Capybara looks a lot like her mom, but has her dad’s height and long neck and tail. Capybara’s are ALSO in both the marsh and rainforest, which Canopy was thrilled about because they are his favorite animal (which is why she chose that name). She only has mudwing scales so she can’t camouflage or change her colors, but she is the only sibling to have venom. She’s the quietest of her siblings, but very sweet and good humored. Though she doesn’t instigate trouble, she tends to go along with whatever Puddle and Dew drop are doing enthusiastically. She enjoys helping her mother with healing herbs and shows an interest in gardening.
Puddles is built like a mudwing with some rainwing scales and fire breath. She likes to change her scales often to exaggerate her moods, but her go to look is a colorful combo. Even though she was my first idea for an OC, I have the least idea of what to do with her personality and story. I imagine she’s outgoing and adventurous and likes to mess with Plantain because he gets irritated easily. She’ll end up at jade mountain academy like her parents (probably with a few of her siblings).
Dew drop is the smallest sibling (like his mom). He’s built like a mudwing but has entirely color changing scales. He likes to keep them mostly blue because that’s his favorite color and it matches his name, but he lets his emotions show through in some of his scales (which is usually yellow, because he’s a happy guy). Dew drop has a very big heart and has taken to helping Milkweed with her healing duties. He especially loves to cheer up injured and sick dragons. He has never met a stranger and will not stop talking.

Asha would have taken care of them like they where her sibs. She would treat Glory the nicest.
Thus is what I have come up with if she would survived her Canon death:
I think she would be pretty determined to get them to a safer place when they escape the mountain. Unfortunately she is captured by Scarlet and has to fight Clay in the arena buy Glory hits Scarlet with her venom and they escape with Kestrel before heading to the sea kingdom.
Her scars would affect her badly throughout the dragonet prophecy. Limping, struggled flying, back pains, and several missing claws. I think she would have a blind eye as well.
In The Lost Heir, she would attack Blister in the ending, saving webs from getting to much damage.
I really need to reread the books again before I come up with anything else lol.

okok so one could be like maybe just venom sibs or OHOH maybe this one could be like post traffic report and like ghoul n party are totally on the run from bli. like its just them and an unrecognizable car they stole and bli is still somehow gaining on their heels after a few months and they know all their hiding spots so they have no choice but to go out of the zones and into the radioactive wasteland of the rest of the sw us. and maybe like it ends with them dying from like radiation sickness or something adjacent (like leukemia) or possibly open ended (i looooove open ended agnst GAH its so good)
ok n maybe this other idea i have is just two of the four (could be any two) and theyre kinda like homeless teens in the city trying to scrape by and one of them ends up getting taken away from the other for reeducation and leaves the other all alone and on the run or something lije that

Hmm another android au idea and also venom sib angst. So. Asshole Party Poison thats like stuck up and doesn't see droids as people and doesn't think they're alive. Versus,, theres a few options here. Asshole Party versus Ghoul whos secretly an android that escaped the city, and hides it because well, as you can imagine, people dont always have the best reactions. But one day hes hurt or something and they all find oit and either Partys like. Well i know you you're my friend ive seen you scream and cry and laugh and have nightmares and be a person, so i guess i was wrong, sorry if i ever made you think you couldn't trust me because of that.
Or. It goes the bad route and Party freaks out, and accuses Ghoul of being a spy or something and tells him to leave and theyre both yelling and he leaves because surprise! he doesn't feel safe anymore, and in his mind hes been abandoned like he has by everyone else, and he hates himself for what he is and how it drives people away. Meanwhile the crew is tearing itself apart becuase Kobra and Jet don't have the same reservations as Party about droids and Kobra especially gets pissed and storms off after his best friend that was just fucking kicked out so there's the venom sibling angst there too and jets just like freaking out like worried for ghoul and dissapointed in party but also shes just like in shock because shes desert born she knew there were droids in the city but nothing really about them like what they looked like or if they were people or if they could even leave the city and ots all something shes never thought of till now, when suddenly one of her friends is one. So shes a mess and shes torn between going and finding ghoul and Kobra or staying and dealing with party all the while trying to work out her own opinion on it all, which ends up being that she may not know anything about androids but ghoul is still ghoul.
There could also be a venom sibling version of all this, where, again, asshole party poison, but its kobra thats the droid, and maybe hes always been or maybe poison did have a sibling once but they were replaced for some reason and what replaced them became Kobra. Maybe Kobra doesn't even know hes one. Maybe they're not blood siblings, maybe Kobra was a kid poison picked up off the streets or early on in he zones, and theyre not blood but they might as well be, but kobras secretly an android. Or maybe something horrible happened to him, and he was recently turned into one, whether he was experimented on or something equally horrible, and his mind was transferred into the body of an android or he was just so fucked up that like everything in his body was replaced by mechanics, maybe purely as an experiment to see if it worked, if someone could survive all that and still have a fighting spirit.
Whatever it is, then everyone finds out, party finds out and same thing, either theyre like oh i was wrong, yea of course you're still my brother, or party freaks out, feels betrayed, scared that there was an imposter in their life for so long, and accuses kobra of being a spy or whatever, and kobra like im your brother. Please. And Poisons like but you're not. You're not, you're a fake, you're not human. And yeah. Venom sibling angst. Yum.
