Vampire/Vampyr suggestions and tips!!
remember these are just suggestions, pick and choose what feels best to you!
wear dark, long clothing to protect your skin from the sun
enjoy some time at night- the moonlight or even a dark cloudy night are a vampires best friend!
drinking red liquids- koolaid, cranberry juice, strawberry juice, blueberry tea, whatever fits your fancy and satisfies that bloody craving!
keeping some kind of journal is a great idea! it’s an often seen image, the brooding vampyr and their leather bound journal with quill pen. perhaps inky sketches, or even some kind of written account of things you learn about your vampire kintype/source!
try out some vampire themed neopronouns that give you euphoria!
teefs!! there’s lots of places to buy/order vampire teeth moulds, especially this time of year!
learn more about animals associated with vampyrs- bats, cats, black wolves, spiders, etc!
avoid running water, garlicky foods, and other things vampires are adverse to!
always get verbal permission before entering someone’s home, a vampyr must be welcomed into a space before they can enter!
old myths say vampyrs liked counting, perhaps get a counting app or something similar!
try out a dark academia style!
dark goth looks are also often associated with vampyrs, try looking into goth culture and learning more about the subcultures within!

Vampire/Vampyr tips
pomegranate, cherries or cranberry is very good if your feeling peckish,,,
If you have a partner (and you both give consent-) you can bite them or give them hickeys-
pomegranate and raspberry tea for blood substitute
Wearing nice smells make you think of regal, forests, enchantments and overall like a bad bitch
Having a candle lit bath
Try and not look in mirrors (unless ur doing makeup ofc-)
Wearing sliver or bone jewellery
Darker clothes are always cool and comfortable! Or more formal wear with darker colors if you're looking for an addams family look
Take a nap during the day if u can!
Painting your nails black (or any dark color), or getting your nails done (coffin or pointed)
Listen to bat/night noises
Research bats and vampire/vampyr counts!!
Dragons blood face care or pomegranate body care items are nice too!!
Get some bat plushies (great if you have parental/sibling instincts)
Putting on some dark makeup
If you have to go outside, have sunglasses and/or a day umbrella!

I can hear the sounds of violins
Long before it begins
Make me thrill as only you know how

Little ramble about a kin memory this reminds me of below
I remember one day I was winding down to go to sleep and, as I always do, I was listening to music, now the song itself matters little to this story but as I listened to the violins playing I felt a tightness in my chest and I imagined dancing across a ballroom so vividly I can still remember the sensations of my dress swaying around me and the hand on my waist as we waltzed our way around the floor, I know the room was full but it was like only we truly existed. It felt so real and I'll never forget that glimpse into what could only have been another life but despite my efforts, hunting down the exact song cover and trying to imagine it I have never felt the same again, and as much as I yearn I'm unsure if I ever will.
