The interesting thing about Jiang Cheng is that he refuses to be his mother's golden child to Wei Wuxian's scapegoat; he actively chooses Wei Wuxian again and again. He defends Wei Wuxian from her until she dies. It's unusual.

This doesn't mean that Wei Wuxian's experience was any less fraught--being hated by a caretaker is awful even if everyone else loves you. But it was an interesting choice by MXTX.

Sure! Here goes:

Beanie is actually horrifyingly strong, so much so that there's now a childlock on it to keep her from completely destroying Ghost Drone's plot by destroying things with one punch and plowing through walls to leave Beanie-sized holes in them.

And ripping spoons in half like they're paper. And casually biting through concrete and eating wrenches on purpose. And lifting her dad over her head with one hand. Basically, it's a good thing her super baby strength is being restrained.

(N occasionally remembers Bea isn't at full strength and goes "oh yeah this'd probably be a lot worse if she didn't have a childlock on.")

silly idea time

idk how this idea even started but the outfit i had in mind was way back from a doodle in 2021 or 2022, basically my 'what if' for temperance ending only instead of being wildly ooc and wearing a collared button up johnny becomes a cowboy. and because i was listening to vagrant song from wtwtlw (that whole ost really, and hardspace shipbreaker) i had the bright idea that johnny would finally become what his class in the ttrpg was an homage to and wander around collecting stories n telling them n kind of being a dead man walking/ghost story/witness/helper-bard r smthn but having been extremely tempered by the experience of v choosing to die for him, being shocked enough into actually thinking about his beleifs n what have you, humbled enough now to want to listen to others hed choose this path of wandering the continent of na, maybe for the first time in a long time actually taking in life around him yadda yadda. in my little scenario i also had it that even if/when the next corpo war broke out or the nusa annexed more free states, he wouldnt get involved like he used to, cause i think its interesting to muse on how a profound experience would greatly change someone so stuck in their ways like johnny. i think hed still be motivated by guilt and avoidance at first, but it would evolve into something more like a calling/altruism as he takes more seriously and uses more intentionally the time he was given as a dead man walking

also i realize how much of this 'outfit' is just putting v in a hat and calling them johnny like its some perry the platypus thing (also idk how to draw hats)

Sunshine has a tendency to randomly headbutt people when she wants attention they can range from gently just trying to get them to acknowledge her to leaving bruises and starting fights

With Copia she likes to hang out on the ceiling of his office while he works and she’ll slink down off the ceiling and start (gently) head butting and chittering at him to get his attention when she thinks he’s upset or overwhelmed or when she just wants attention but shhhh she has a required amount of forehead kisses and cuddles that must be met

With Swiss she will just ram her head into him and attempt to knock him over this will usually devolve into play wrestling. This is great for the two of them but terrible for anything or anyone around them if it gets too out of hand one of the other ghouls will try to stop it but they usually end up just getting pulled into the fight. She has a 60/40 win streak with the fight ending with her on top pinning Swiss the the ground beneath her

She will also attempt to fight cirrus this usually does not go well for her because she loses most of the time but she will pick fights with her for that exact reason. This does backfire on her sometimes because if cirrus isn’t in the mood she will just side step her attempts until sunshine gets frustrated enough that she’ll leave and go find someone else to fight
