Hello! I was just wondering about a thing and I figured you'd be someone who would know the answer, seeing as you are a gifs blog. So, I was wondering about the tags, and I don't know if there's a specific use of the #user tags? Like there would be multiple tags like #userlily #userrose (random names i just made up, not actual examples) on a single gifset, and I'm just... confused. I used to think these tags meant a particular user made the gifs, and are using this tag to keep track of all the gifs they have made over several different blogs. But the multiple tags thing escapes my understanding. Do you have any idea why multiple tags are used? No worries if you don't, I just figured I'd ask!

It's the equivalent of me telling people to tag their posts with "ebbgifs" if they want me to see/reblog them. It's a tag I made that is specific to my blog that my audience can use if they want me to see their posts.

some people use the userfirstname format so it can stay consistent even if their blog name changes.
