new gifmaker here, my posts always flop & i always feel so discouraged by them :( i know tumblr has a shitty tag system sometimes i wonder whether i'm just doing something wrong. how do you build a platform here? you always seem to get a lot of interaction on your posts & i'm just ... trying to find out how to not feel like i'm screaming into the void endlessly

hello angel! i hope ur enjoying making ur gifs on here. its so easily to be discouraged with content on here, especially even more thaws days as u find that people don't reblog like they used too which is a big help, the website isn't as popular and/or the tagging systems are slowly not the same. personally when i started, i found it really difficult to gain traction but i just stuck with it bcs at the end of the day u make content for u. however i can give some advice.

u do get twenty tags per post, so using that does help — u can join networks who have open tags such as btsedit, jungkooksource, btsgif etc. n u can also join some closed networks such as @dailydaegu, @clubjimin, @hyunglinenetwork, @networkbangtan, @bangtanarmynet etc and use their hashtags.

speaking of hashtags, there are ccs here who have dedicated tracking tags which ill list some below:

honestly, it's hard to not feel discouraged especially when ur starting out but we all as ccs have been there but dont dwell over it too harshly bcs im sure ur content is good. just keep up ur good work n stick by it! not everything happens overnight my love <333
