— she is best described as ;
All the CLASS of an aged IRISH WHISKEY in a CRYSTAL cut glass with the POWER it packs when it touches your THROAT. She is pure STRENGTH, a DEPENDABLE & STURDY figure COLD like a STATUE & just as difficult to push down. She has taken the LAW into her two CAPABLE hands & handles it with CARE & ATTENTION without a single QUIVER. But deep in her eyes is the PAIN & SUFFERING only those who have experience true LOSS will know, though the only eyes to see it are her OWN within a REFLECTION.
— her story starts with ;
Born in a small cottage in Killarney, Millicent had no idea what lay ahead of her. The village was small and was mostly overgrown, a place where sorcerers go to retire. Her parents owned a simple antique bookshop and led simple lives, never leaving the village unless absolutely necessary. Regardless of this quaint upbringing, Millicent’s spirit refused to be contained and leapt at any opportunity that would mean freedom. Ambitious, dedicated and intelligent, she was soon sorted into Ravenclaw in record time when she arrived at Hogwarts, where her fellow housemates would only push her to be better, be greater. At heart, Millicent was a perfectionist, and thus pushed herself beyond her boundaries constantly. She never shied away from a challenge, taking on extra assignments and proving that she was right when she was questioned, even by professors. This, of course, gained her a reputation as a girl that was bossy. Millicent would argue if boys in her class were as forward thinking as her, would they be called the same, or perhaps if she were from sacred twenty-eight families. When she had an opinion she aired it, no matter how much it made the likes of Abraxas Malfoy roll his eyes. Growing up, there had not been much diversity amongst leaders and thus their world reflected the view of those in power.
There were lots of pure-blood men and not just pure-blood men, mostly sacred twenty-eight or adjacent. Millicent realised that in order to be respected like those who had been elected, she’d have to act like one, but try and not lose herself in the process. She began watching those who wielded power and how they managed it, Horace Slughorn, CIRCE GREENGRASS [acquaintance], anyone she deemed successful or someone who influences others around them. She took down notes of how to act like them, how to dress like them. Millicent began holding herself differently and the older she got the more conviction she had in the way that she spoke. Milicent knew she was intelligent, she knew that one day she would be somebody very important and not because of her last name, her blood type or how much money her family had. When she got to the top it would have been because she deserved it, and damn did she know she did. Unlike many young people fresh out of Hogwarts, Millicent was sure of herself and that alone made her excel quickly in her political career. Whilst not making many friends in Hogwarts due to her academic-oriented mindset, she had made a connection with Rutherford Bagnold, a Gryffindor boy who admired her courage and determination.
Both career-orientated, with Millicent working as junior undersecretary to the Minister for Magic and Rutherford in the magical invention industry, they understood one another and respected their desire to climb to the top. During her position as junior undersecretary, Millicent learnt another valuable lesson, that time was valuable and that it should not be wasted on unnecessary questions or conversations. She began to build an encyclopaedic knowledge of the ins and outs of the Ministry and along with her perfectionism, she began to run a tight ship. It wasn’t long until she received a promotion to senior undersecretary. She loved her job, and sure, she was the second-best to a man, but she had gone further than she could have hoped for and already had an impressive influence over the Ministry staff. She attended meetings and press conferences with Harold Minchum, the Minister for Magic at the time and learnt everything she could from him. It was at this point where she finally felt comfortable enough to start a family. It wasn’t long until Rutherford proposed, they had a fairytale wedding that pleased both families present in Ireland. The newly-wed couple moved into a house in Wimbledon and gave birth to their first son, HARRISON BAGNOLD [son].
As much as Millicent loved Harrison, she found being a parent difficult. For the first time in her life she had something other than her work to focus on, even with her husband he looked after himself. Harrison needed her in a way that no one ever had and although she wouldn’t admit it openly other than to Rutherford, Millicent struggled in her early years as a mother, trying to tend to her job and her family and do the best she could at both. Rutherford took the brunt of the parenting when Millicent went back to work when Harrison was two, she longed to be with him more and wondered if he’d have turned out different if she did. But Millicent knew her task and her dream were bigger than Harrison, she wanted to be the Minister for Magic to make the world a better place and that better place she desired a little bit more after her son was born, because she wanted it better for him and for her grandchildren. By the time Millicent had her second child BOOKER BAGNOLD [son], her outlook on parenting had somewhat changed. She was harder on herself with Harrison and harder on him as a result, she wanted him to be perfect and for her parenting to be perfect but when Booker came along she wanted something else, for him to be happy and for their family to be as well.
In free periods she’d take the boys to Quidditch matches and gave Booker the freedom he needed away from Millicent’s work events, the same events that Harrison now attended by choice, standing by his mother’s side, a well-spoken little gentleman that made her very proud. What felt like a couple of years passed quickly and soon Booker was attending Hogwarts too. The couple quickly adapted to their children not being at home again and threw themselves back into work, which quickly paid off for Millicent. She was promptly promoted to Advisor to the Minister for Magic. It was at this point that small cases of missing sorcerers started popping up, a trend formed and Harold Michum decided to allocate an Auror team to investigate the disappearances. What she didn’t know was that this issue would soon become hers. In 1980 Millicent was appointed Minister for Magic. Her carefully orchestrated plan had worked and well placed friendships voted her into power. Harold’s legacy had been that he had run a tight ship, however all those that had known Millicent knew that it had been her ship all along. She had proved all those that had doubted her wrong and more importantly, proved to herself that she was capable of achieving her dreams and more as long as she put her mind to it. In 1980 she became the Minister for Magic, Millicent knew that her time wouldn’t be straight forward, but she didn’t know difficult it could be.
In 1983, Millicent lost her youngest son, forced to watch as his body was fished out of the fountain in her workplace whilst her husband and eldest child screamed and cried with grief. Millicent has never truly recovered from that event. All she wanted to do was retreat into bed with her husband and grieve the loss of her child, but she was the Minister and the people needed her to lead. She had not thought much about creature control until Booker had died, it had never felt like a real issue, though her son had brought it to her attention several times with his position. It was a cruel irony that it was a werewolf that had killed her son, when all he wanted was to protect them. With the help of ALICIA AVERY JONES [colleague] Millicent had the entire weight of the auror’s office thrown behind finding her son’s killer, but people kept going missing, getting attacked or dying. ROSALIE FLINT [person of interest], INES MORENO [person of interest], BENJY FENWICK [person of interest], AMELIA BONES [person of interest] one after the other. Some days it was too much to cope with. Then the alley attacks happened. She knew it wouldn’t make her popular amongst some, it might even cost her some votes, but Millicent knew this was a problem that had gone far enough and now she was going to tackle it the only way she knew how. Head on.
— SHE IS A LEVEL 8 WITCH & READIED FOR WAR ;

Evelyn and George are now properly retired
the wizard and the witch are now actually divorced
fixed some surnames of ancestor sims that did not make sense
Download ver 1.2
This will (hopefully) be the last update for now :)

Next up is Samit Chawla, still in the apartment complex that Harper just moved out of!
Last Round: Samit woohoo'd with the matchmaker, the landlady, a witch, and his roommate Sydney. He also made it to level 8 of the Entertainment career, mostly from networking.
I actually didn't intend for him to move out of this apartment so soon, but as soon as I loaded it, it was bogged down with unplayable jump bugs and floating cabinets. So I figured it was time for Samit to get a place of his own, too.

Get to Know Me - Sims Edition
I was tagged by @puffkins2000! Thank you so much <3
What’s your favorite Sims death? I never thought about that but the death by freezing ghost is kinda cute '-'
Alpha CC or Maxis Match? Oh well. I like MM clothes, some EA hairs (the store's ones are the most usable) and also alpha hair, and the skins I use could be considered alpha but they're not uncanny valley. So I guess I'm in the middle?
Do you cheat your sims weight? Nope
Do you move objects? Yup ^^
Favorite Mod? The NRaas ones since the game is mostly unplayable without them, and Simler's mod that fix a lot of stuff, even the "natality" issue that one of the patches broke and now babies are being born in my saves without my interference or using Story Progression (that I'm too paranoid with the lag it can cause to use it)
First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? Late Night because I wanted hot tubs and the bars and vampires sounded cool too (but I don't play much with the EP features 😬)
Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE, and well being a non-english speaker I never thought about this '-'
Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? My girl Mitsuko (the one in my icon) is my fave 💚💙
Have you made a simself? Yup, and of course she got prettier lol
Which is your favorite EA hair color? ... Black? It's the only EA color that I actually use so 🤷‍♀️
Favorite EA hair? Party on the Side from the store ^^
Favorite life stage? Young Adults I guess
Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I had a sort of builder era some years ago but nowadays it seems that my creativity for that is simply gone (even tho my buildings back in the day weren't that much, but it's stuff that I look today and think "WOW I really did that 😮")
Are you a CC creator? Apparently 💀 but mostly a converter.
Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad? I'm kinda closer to @deniisu-sims because we know each other online outside tumblr but people at the TS3 Creator's Cave Discord are really friendly. But it's a bit difficult to me to socialize even on the internet since being introvert IRL wasn't enough '-'
Do you have any sims merch? / A Youtube for sims? Nope but honestly if I was less shy and had a better internet connection I guess I would have a channel '-' And I've been delaying for YEARS to make a Bella Goth chibi sculpture....
How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? lol I guess it's been the same, I make a family and play with them, but lately I've been playing challenges so it can give me a direction and then I don't get bored easily.
Who’s your favorite CC creator? AAAAA DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE! But not kidding, everybody that converts the stuff from TS4 has a special place in my heart ❤❤
How long have you had Simblr? I have it since 2013 and was somewhat active around that time, went through some hiatus and now I'm back on activity since last year.
How do you edit your pictures? I use reshade, for CC previews a preset that slightly enhances color and sharpness (becuase one of my pet peeves are those CC previews that are so heavily edited that you can't see what you're actually getting), Photoscape for quick cropping and making thumbnails, and Photoshop to write stuff in previews.
What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite? I guess it's Supernatural? I like the CAS stuff, the furniture, Moonlight Falls is a nice town to play, I LOVE playing with witches, the alchemy skill and the complementing harvesteables are really cool too 😊
I tag everyone who wants to answer those ^^

Will Hana be playing nightbringer? 👀
Thoughts on the game and the drama with the og game, expectations, hopes, worries? I’m a bit excited to see the past but also very annoyed that Lesson 80+ won’t be in the og game but rather in NB. Which means we’ll most likely have to wait for the “mc in the past” arc to end to get the rest of the CURRENT story instead of just,,,,,having duel games, both to play,,,,,also not happy with OB only having event updates cuz lately the events suck! Sorry but someone has to say it, every once in a while a nice event comes out, but they all follow the same algorithm and it’s just. Dude. Who’s suggesting these events, where can I submit a suggestion? Why not spice it up instead of the same endings every time :/
(and hello where is wedding event part two…)
Hello Anonie 🌺💚🌻
Thank you so much for asking. I have so many, many thoughts about nightbringer and I agree on the points you make fully! (this post is going to be long so going to put a cut to shorten it on dash a bit)
Yes, I'll be playing night bringer despite all the criticisms I have for the game and the devs right now because I'm interested and the tropes they use are some of my fave. you can't use time travel tope on me and expect me not to play....plus I want to know what happened to Simeon and who I need to go after. I also love purgatory hall residents so I cant wait to give them all the love 💜
I am with you that I am annoyed that they are continuing the game in NB and not in the OG game. I looked into it a bit more, and from what I’ve seen circulating around, it seems that NB is going to have new mechanics they couldn't put in the OG game. not only that, but your choices are going to matter now apparently, and the phone calls are going to be more romantic as well. They couldn't do that without overhauling the OG game which might make it unplayable. which to a certain degree I understand.
but what I DO NOT like at all is the fact that all our cards that we worked so hard to level up, grind for, collect, and trying to get game currency is going to be reset for the new game.
I don't know if the game is not going to have battles or not, but I assume it will. Unless they are going to make the whole game into a rhythm based game which I doubt unless they are going Enstars route?
but if it does have battles, why can't we use the cards we had before? there must be ways for us to use them or transfer them? surely? also, all the DVs some people must have saved? the grim and energy? all of that going to be reset? thats just irritating.
the OG game will be used for events and I guess in that sense, you can use your Dvs for...but what's the point? its not like events are hard to beat? unless they are thinking of spiking the difficulty level of events?
talking about the event....omg, the events. I have such...irritation with the events. Not only is the event constant and relentless, but the story is subpar.
There was a time when I played Obey Me very religiously (lol) constantly grinding for event and playing story, to the point that I got burned out because not only were the events constant without breaks and they kept releasing cards, but the story for each of these events just started becoming boring and dumb and just constant repeats of each other but with different scenarios.
its always a curse or a witch or luci wiping memories or it was a dream blah blah blah
it's always a tease too. for a 18+ game, you would expect for steamy bits. and it seems they even dumbed down the more "evil"? 'brutal"? aspects of it. for instance, they would talk about torture and other demon related things before but they don't now???
and as you said, the story is redundant. but let's also talk about the characters. the events always tries to put all the characters in the events. which shortens the events and screen time for the characters and at the same time, its just rehash off the usual. we also get no character development in these event because of it either.
it has to be said anonie, say it even louder! because the events suck. not only are you trying to get the cards, competing with other people for ranking (which I never do), they also made some events into those surprise gacha boxes.
I literally stopped playing events after that was introduced and then slowly gradually stopped because of the difficulty in the main story battles.
they really do need to spice up the events or change it. I think the constant events is really destroying the quality in writing. I hope that changes since they now need to get people to play both games. So they need to work harder on events.
another point you brought up that I agree with, we have to wait for this past arc to finish before we can go back to current arc. that's definitely something that I dont think many would be happy with.
not only was this past arc advertised as a big part of the NB game, which means we won't know when this arc will end and when we will get back to the current arc, which is irritating already.
we already have inconsistencies in the game, not to mention they have used the past trope a couple times already (MC dying, and then meeting them as angels...) some of the inconsistencies include, Solomon is wearing his RAD outfit when it doesn't exist yet and his red cape is missing. in addition, NB said that RAD doesn't exist in devildom...which is not true because one of the cards Luci mentioned meeting Dia as an angel and RAD was already established at the time.
They mentioned new models/outfits for the characters which might solve the whole uniform issue ...but still those story inconsistencies need be answered. unless they are saying this past is a different timeline? and please don't get me started on the OG timeline that we never hear about again.
the game is also adopting 3D models...lets say I'm not a fan. 3D models can be a hit or miss.
side characters are romancable but who knows when that will be...especially with the emphasis that the brothers are given right now. in that case...is it one character? or multiple? you can be together with? how would the side characters be implemented then?
I really went off there didn't I? lolol I guess I needed to let it out. despite my criticisms and irritation, obey me still gives me fond memories because of the fun I had.
it's just...some of the choices I do not agree with. I especially feel bad for those who bought the Dvs and Vip passes, how does that work for them?
but yeah, those are my thoughts. thank you for letting me rant lolol
(omg the wedding event, they should have one soon, because the new side characters will need their turn right? 👀👀👀 or eventually)

I do think with bayo 3 it's like, 80-90% of it isn't an absolute dealbreaker, it just makes for a bland and disappointing adventure (that's still mostly better than Bayo 2) with some mostly solid gameplay (when the game lets you play it) that's still not quite as satisfying as Bayo 1 but obviously has plenty of its own depth (even if the reliance on demon slave is incredibly annoying personally)
But then the last two chapters happen and it's like. Well this is the worst thing ever.
I've only been playing the witch trials so my current feelings on bayo 3 are mostly centered around doing witch trials 1 and 2 with different demon setups. (I still find any weapon aside from the guns and the yo yo chainsaws borderline unplayable)

Rainy Woods was a name originally associated with Deadly Premonition, Swery65’s most famous work that reached cult status. Wearing the Twin Peaks’ influence on its sleeve it cranked the weirdness and absurd up to eleven and the game’s bugs and bad optimization hinged in the unplayable territory encroaching the “so bad it is good” territory. Some hate it, giving it bad reviews, whilst for some it was ironically one of the best games they played – until the sequel was released, the flaws that were once charming saw with less lenience and certain parts of the script shed an unfavorable light in certain aspects of the original one that, in hindsight, were very problematic.
And then there’s the goddamned hellhole.
Unlike Deadly Premonition, The Good Life leaves mostly of these at the door and invites the players to a more laid-back experience but still oozing Swery65 flair all over it. It was a crowd funded project, so even humbler than its AA cousins. But does it sticks the landing?
Naomi Hayward is a photographer hauling from New York with a big debt to pay, sent by her media company to the small town of Rainy Woods to uncover its secrets and expose to the world. Soon as she arrives she is greet by one of its inhabitants, Elizabeth Dickens, who proceeds to give her a house and show her the ropes claiming that is the happiest town in the world. There is, however, a caveat: she mustn’t go outside at night during the full and new moons. Of course it picked Naomi’s curiosity and soon as night falls she finds out the town’s secret: people turns into cats and dogs! During her investigations she runs into a witch living in the woods who also gives her a hand in gaining the ability to turn into both animals at will, each with their own set of abilities. But the mystery only deepens and Elizabeth seems to be goading Naomi into investigating, and as she seems ready to tell the secret… A shocking turn of events change the course of the story. With such an intriguing opening, the plot branches into three main routes for the investigation and all of them must be completed before opening the final main quest and the player can switch at will, which is helpful as some abilities can only be unlocked in certain routes.
Tumblr media
The visuals are your run over the mill indie fare, with some clever designs that are far from the attempted at realism from Deadly Premonition or D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die and closer to fan darlings like My Time At Portia. The characters are very varied, with some clever takes on notable stereotypes associated with Britain, but there are some shortcomings: the Unreal Engine’s sheen is unmistakable and it could be distracting in story segments. The map’s size also works against the game: the central hub is indeed well-crafted and fun to explore, but the sprawling countryside can be quite boring before you unlock the sheep riding. Everything looks roughly the same, with similar houses here and there, only a few memorable locations to break the monotony. Yet it can also be oddly relaxing to roam around exploring to locate points of interest.
Tumblr media
The gameplay can be clunky at best of times, with Naomi’s slow walking speed and having a small stamina bar at first. Luckily her animal forms can be faster, with the cat being able to jump high and climb up in places with special markings. The dog offers better endurance when meeting the wildlife, is able to pick up the scents of people and animals, and one of the routes unlocks the ability to mark the territory to dig around for craftable materials. The best form of transportation, however, is riding a sheep – something also tied to one of the routes. With the map being very wide, having a sheep is a must and the teleport markers will become the player’s best friend real fast. The game also has hunger and sleep mechanic like Deadly Premonition and Naomi also has to shower to be more presentable or the shops’  will also increase. To deal with the hunger, the player can either go one of the many places that prepare food and memorize it after eating a few times before replicating it at home or at one of the campground kitchens. Then comes one of the many crafting mechanics: to pick up the vegetables, herbs and meat to prepare the meal – the later is one of the most annoying part. There’s plenty of wildlife in Rainy Woods, it is very easy to track them down using the dog or roaming around. The problem is the combat mechanic: it is very stiff and hard to aim, poorly implemented at best. Thankfully only one of the animals is always aggressive, but it also means that sometimes you hear the combat music and can be knocked out before you are able to counter-attack. It can be an exercise in frustration, and the price of the healing services is downright unbalanced. Speaking of unbalanced, the drop rates are also completely nonsensical but thankfully you only need them for optional sidequests and nothing mandatory. The developers seemed to be aware of the many shortcomings, often adding anti-frustration features like free retries for main plot segments without penalties; it can be unfair to have to retry long areas because of poor controls and at least they had that down. The one thing that they didn’t get down is how buggy this game can be and it can crash a few times even two years after the release. In my experience, it crashed in the game ending.
Tumblr media
The ending is far from definitive. The three routes go to completely different directions, all with ties with British culture, and explore them in the most absurd and hilarious way that only Sweary65 can provide before converging in one big plot before wrapping it up… And two of the biggest mysteries are never solved, with a shocking twist that changes everything and leaves the player with a message: perhaps some mysteries are better left unsolved, the world could do well with some uncertainty. Maybe the journey is the best part of the story, enjoying the good life as it is.
Is the game a must play? This game can be a very slow-paced fetch quest festival that requires from 13 to 20 hours to beat, so it requires some commitment. It isn’t a game for everyone : the conclusion to the story can be rather unsatisfactory and the gameplay can be frustrating. There’s a demo available for most systems, so if the name “Sweary” isn’t enough to hook you up then give the free version a try if the premise pick your interest but it might be worth waiting for a discount.

Oh, nice.
Tumblr media
Love my Fischl-Diluc-Sucrose team, but I think I need to keep things new.
I couldn’t decide which characters to put, so why not the unplayable enemy characters? (and Kaeya for the extra freeze/melt comp)
They all only need two energy for their bursts so it’s been pretty swell. Though I rarely get to play the mirror maiden because my luck with getting hydro dice is utterly terrible. Also splurged on some crimson witch cards because the game keeps pestering me about how much tcg money I have and I need to buy shit from the store instead of hoarding it like the ridiculous little packrat I am
Tumblr media
Layla time.
Tumblr media
Goodbye my disappointment artifacts I will never miss you
Tumblr media
Oh man the stats are pretty sexy ngl. Although a bit of a shame it didn’t roll much into crit rate but I guess this is a shielder build
Tumblr media
Aww fuck on a duck I need three more of her boss materials
Tumblr media
ARE YOU KIDDING ME
Tumblr media
Fully leaning into the shielder build Layla I hope she’ll be pretty damn strong

Okay not too shabby considering my past experience with genshin’s accursed artifact rng

I’ve been working on the 50/50 method to get the Megakingdom working again, and as it is very slow I keep going back to a simple modern Ubermegahood for Actually Playing, but I have hit a slight snag and would like some advice.
I’m using the traits mod, and haven’t made very thorough use of it before now. And then I played the Cordial household and Kimberly for no reason plunged into a deep red mood and would not come out of it even when her normal moods were green. It’s the Grumpy trait doing this to her, making her nearly unplayable—I tested it. For the time being, I swapped it out for a different random trait. But I realized this was also a problem I had with the Night Owl trait—what was supposed to be a slight mood dip became WORST POSSIBLE MOOD. I just didn’t realize it was a problem because for Night Owls the mood plunge goes away at certain times of the day, so apparently I assumed that was how it was supposed to work. Grumpy, as far as I can tell with what I have downloaded, is supposed to be 25% lower at all times, so this issue made it just be 100% awful all the time.
Clearly, this is a problem with the Wannabe Moodlets trait mod. I have tried replacing what I had with a fresh download of that, just in case what I had was the Mood Mod version by midgethetree and therefore conflicting with inteen or something. I haven’t had time to test that yet, and am curious whether anybody has any other ideas.
…I also realized during this that I might need child witches/werewolves/vampires to really make hereditary supernaturalism work, which also ended up replacing a bit of inteen, so now I am worried I changed too many things to properly test, and also wondering if I really want child/toddler witches/werewolves/vampires and if it wouldn’t be easier to just learn to edit the BCON of Hereditary Supernaturalism and/or Slow Aging to make them not gain their powers until they are teens.
Damn why am I so bad at troubleshooting this silly game??

Next is a special one for me… the VERY FIRST Frank Zappa album I bought on vinyl! (I’d been a CD-based fangirl for several years already.) It was probably 2007 or 2008, and I was a little conflicted about spending $15 on an LP, the highest I’d ever spent at that point (lmao can you imagine… but really, 90% of the vinyl then was $5 and under). But it was ZAPPA, so I felt I had to.
This is one of his several Synclavier-based albums, and IMO, the one to get if you’re only going to get one of them. There’s also Perfect Stranger (which he packaged like it was all played by an ensemble conducted by Pierre Boulez but snuck a bunch of synthesized tracks on), Francesco Zappa (actually just synthesized performances of a real-life obscure baroque composer who happened to have a similar name, absolutely skippable), Mothers of Prevention (he did a good job testifying before Congress against music censorship but I don’t need a synth album about it), and some posthumous releases. The Synclavier was a state-of-the-art synthesizer that was primarily programmed rather than played. After years of being frustrated by orchestras not taking him seriously enough to put in the work to play his extremely complex compositions properly, buying one of these was like a godsend. Finally a way to transform musical notation into precise performances by any instrument without the need for human musicians. He got absolutely obsessed, and the results will often strike the modern listener as cold and lifeless. It hasn’t aged super well. That said, the compositions are excellent, and this collection especially is a good listen.
The showstopper is G Spot Tornado, one of FZ’s best ever compositions in any genre. It’s a rousing, triumphant march that he wrote to be unplayable by human musicians—he was proven wrong by Ensemble Modern on The Yellow Shark, which is definitely the best version of the song, but the original on this album is good too. While You Were Art II is a funky synthesized version of a guitar solo originally done in a live version of Drowning Witch (that Frank, an expert recycler of his own playing). The one track played by live musicians, an excerpted guitar solo called St Etienne, is good but entirely superfluous. The closer, Massaggio Galore, is pretty fantastic too.
This was technically the last studio album released in Frank’s lifetime. From now on, it’s live rock albums and Synclavier albums from the home studio. The album was also released with a parental advisory sticker despite being 100% instrumental. FZ cried foul over retaliation because he was such a vocal opponent of such labeling, but my guess is that it got flagged because of the song title G Spot Tornado 😂

Promenade : Least used gameplay feature?
I think it's probably the things related to the scientist carreer I rarely play or the mean actions 😅 most of my sims just have a random boring life full of super expected events when I play. Also, I noticed I don't use Spa Day stuff as I used to ! It's one of the best pack (if you want to bring some cozy healthy activities) and I didn't even make my own spa ...
Straud : Most annoying bug you've encountered?
Oh there's plenty, even more when you play with shit tons of cc like me 🤣😅 The invisible sims that are usually witches/vampires who suddenly walk around without faces except their eyes and teeth showing up, dine out that is unplayable (the employees actually don't work or come to work, the waitress that doesn't care about food service and all. I'm not blaming the waitress here, we all know it's EA's fault).
One of the most annoying was while discovering University. Des and Leïla struggled to keep good grades because they actually couldn't go to class 🙄 Imagine releasing a school EP in which your characters can't actually go to school 🤣
I think we could all right entire essays about sims 4 glitches : a curse but also a new obvious point each new pack.
Thanks a lot for these asks @hauntedplasma ❤️

MILLICENT BAGNOLD is SEVENTY-ONE YEARS OLD and the MINISTER FOR MAGIC at THE MINISTRY OF MAGIC. She looks remarkably like MERYL STREEP and considers herself NEUTRAL. She is currently UNPLAYABLE.
→ OVERVIEW:
Born in a small cottage in the Cotswolds, Millicent had no idea what lay ahead of her. Her wizarding village was small and was mostly overgrown, a place where sorcerers go to retire. Her parents owned a simple antique bookshop and led simple lives, never leaving the village unless absolutely necessary. Regardless of this quint upbringing, Millicent’s spirit refused to be contained and lept at any opportunity that would mean freedom. Ambitious, dedicated and intelligent, she was soon sorted in Ravenclaw where her fellow Ravenclaw students would only push her to be better, be greater. At heart, Millicent was a perfectionist, and thus pushed herself beyond her boundaries constantly. She never shied away from a challenge, taking on extra assignments and proving that she was right when she was questioned, even by professors. This, of course, gained her a reputation as a girl that was bossy, pushy and a know-it-all. This upset her as she knew that if she was a boy, she’d be seen as intelligent with good leadership potential. Thus, ever since her early days at Hogwarts, she swore that she’d become a great leader to prove that women could do everything a man could do, but better.
It wasn’t common for women to be in places of power then, there was a huge bias against women and many shook their heads at any woman that attempted to break the mould. Millicent realised that in order to be respected like a man, she’d have to act like one. She began to watch men around her, the arrogant boys in her class, the respected professors, the head boy, anyone she deemed successful or someone who influences others around them. She would learn how to act to gain respect and what not to do. She noted that one of the most intimidating professors never raised his voice, causing others to constantly lean in to hear him. She would use these tactics she had learnt and apply them to her personality. Surely but slowly, she did gain respect from many, but others also felt threatened by her. And so the vicious circle of respect and despise that would follow her through life began. One key aspect she had that many others did not was that she was sure of herself, she never simply took an order from anyone without questioning it first. She wasn’t insecure about her identity or her abilities and skill set. This allowed her to push further in life and prevented anyone from walking over her.
Whilst not making many friends in Hogwarts due to her academic-orientated mindset, she had made a connection with RUTHERFORD BAGNOLD, a Gryffindor boy who admired her courage and determination. Whilst during Hogwarts they kept things platonic, as the two aged their love for each other grew. Both Career-orientated, with Millicent working as junior undersecretary to the Minister for Magic and Rutherford in the magical invention industry, the two would both arrive home late from work, their lifestyles complimenting each other perfectly, causing no tension between them. Each understood what it was like to be career orientated and respected each other's decisions. During her position as junior undersecretary, Millicent learnt another valuable lesson, that time was valuable and that it should not be wasted on unnecessary questions or conversations. She began to build an encyclopedic knowledge of the ins and outs of the ministry and along with her perfectionism, she began to run a tight ship. It wasn’t long until she received a promotion to senior undersecretary. She loved her job, and sure, she was the second-best to a man, but she had gone further than she could have hoped for and already had an impressive influence over the ministry staff. She attended meetings and press conferences with HAROLD MINCHUM, the current Minister for Magic at the time and learnt everything she could from him.
It was at this point where she finally felt comfortable enough to start a family. It wasn’t long until Rutherford proposed, they had a fairytale wedding that pleased both families at a picturesque garden pavilion. The newly-wed couple moved into a house in Wimbledon and gave birth to their first son, HARRISON BAGNOLD. As much as Millicent loved Harrison, he was a difficult child and having to make more time for her personal life wasn’t on her agenda. Rutherford wasn’t much help either and the pair came off very cold towards their son. Looking back Millicent regretted not being there more for him and this definitely reflected in how the couple treated their second son, BOOKER BAGNOLD. They took time off their now well established careers and invested it into him, taking the pair to Quidditch matches and giving Booker the freedom he needed away from Millicent’s work events, the same events that Harrison now attended by choice. They were both proud parents when Harrison received his letter to Hogwarts, in the hopes that it would mould him into a better man than they had been so far. What felt like a couple of years passed and soon Booker was attending Hogwarts too.
Millicent held multiple meetings with ALICIA AVERY-JONES, the Head Auror at the time. The two women appreciated each other as powerful figures and there was a silent agreement between them to support each other when it was needed. Other officials that Millicent befriended included ADRIAN SKEETER, the Head of Public Information Services, THIEBAUT LESTRANGE, the new Senior Undersecretary, HARRELSON SELWYN, Head of the International Confederation of Wizards and BARTEMIUS CROUCH SENIOR, Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Whilst practicing what she had preached to Harrison, networking way key and whilst Millicent never wished anything on Harold, she knew that he wouldn’t be the minister forever and she wanted to be prepared for when he stepped down. She saw life as a chess match, placing her pieces in precise locations and waiting for the perfect timing for everything to call into place like a chain of dominoes. It wasn’t long until the stakes began to rise, missing cases turning into murder cases and auror’s going missing and with that, Harold jumped ship like the coward Millicent knew he was and retired.
She knew what the press would say about her, a cold-hearted woman, a dismissive perfectionist. She was ready for this, she knew that these were the words that would be used to describe her instead of powerful and wise, calculated and clear. But she was also prepared for the radical sacrifice as she wasn’t just the Minister for Magic for herself, but for others too. For the wizarding community who ultimately she served. She had pledges to create a new path for all, a more integrated society, a more inclusive community. She knew that not everyone shared these views and that it may be slow but who better to make these changes than the Minister for Magic. Her job wasn’t going to be easy and she knew that, she had been paying attention to the ever growing darkness and was ready to stand her ground against whatever this so called Dark Lord had up their sleeve.

I want to put things into perspective for people who started playing with Beyond Light or Arrivals.
Before Beyond Light, seasonal content was only available during that season. It was "vaulted" the moment the season ended. Season of Dawn? You could only do Season of Dawn activities and earn the seal and the title between December 10th 2019 and March 9th 2020. After that, everything from that season was gone. Same with Season of Undying and Worthy (and Arrivals obviously, but that one was extended due to BL delay).
This was naturally unpopular as it pushed people to grind seasonal stuff in the 3 months the season was on so with Beyond Light, they changed seasonal content to be available during the entire year even after the season officially ended. The fact that we can still play Harbinger and Presage is something we wouldn't have been able to do under the old model. Being able to get the exotics and other gear, titles and seals and play the activities, all of that was not possible before they changed the seasonal model.
I'm not sure what else Bungie can do here unless we want the game to be funcionally unplayable due to overbloating it with past content. We've seen what that does to a game, and not just for consoles. Destiny 2 before DCV was very slow, too big and it was straining people's PCs as well as consoles. You can't keep adding content to the game indefinitely. There's a limit to the engine.
Keeping seasonal stuff all year long is the best we can get unless we want Bungie to make a completely new and separate game every year where we'll have to start from scratch every year. This is obviously ludicrous AND it doesn't solve the problem of old content being gone because if the games are separate, old content won't be in the new game anyway.
Currently, we're losing an outdated campaign that's 3 years old (which is also the only thing left over from Activision era: good riddance, no matter how good the campaign is), 2 strikes and 1 destination which is not used for anything besides the aforementioned campaign and Spider's material exchange (which is highly inaccessible because it requires people to go from the tower to the Tangled Shore and back just to do the exchange so they can purchase stuff in the Tower: moving the material exchange to the Tower is something that should've been done ages ago).
We are getting: a new campaign, most likely 2 new destinations, ?? amount of new strikes and, from the article "we’re bringing a carefully curated selection of content out of the DCV, including a classic raid, two PVP maps from Destiny 2, and one classic PVP map from the original Destiny. We’re excited to share more details on all of this in the months ahead." Meaning, we'll know more details about all new content coming to the game later.
I understand people being upset, especially when it comes to things they paid for. But I would also like to note that I'm pretty sure everyone played through this content more than enough to get their money's worth for what they paid. I'm not sure how many hours of replaying Forsaken people think is enough to get their money's worth, but surely replaying it at least once with every character is enough. We do the same with singleplayer games; we play through and then we deinstall. There's like almost 5 months left of this content staying in the game so if people are worried about getting their money's worth, they can replay the content for another 500 hours for sure. I'm pretty sure it's reasonable to assume that would be worth the money spent on the expansion. Or, if they don't have it yet, it will be free from December to February.
And of course, when it comes to seasonal stuff leaving, we knew that. We had it much better this year with the content staying for a whole year instead of being gone after 3 months. It's what we asked for. We can't expect seasons Hunt-Lost to stay going into Witch Queen. There has to be space made for seasons coming in WQ.

ITEM DROP: It'll come in handy getting the Witch to look at you, if you know how to play. Better leave before Chow Mein realises you grabbed it off him. +6 attention. (if unplayable, -5 charm. if playing a mad gear cover, -11 charm)
