What about the TFP autobots coming back to Earth and they meet the kids who are now adults (referring to the ‘TFP Kids and Their Future’ post btw!) it would be very nice to see the bots interact with miko’s adopted kids if she has any💪

What a lovely idea! Gonna be some mixed angst and feels in this though so be warned. Can't have joy without a tig bit of sorrow!

After Twenty Long Years

Time works a bit differently for Cybertronians. Their indefinitely long lifespans ensure that they see the passage of time in a different light. A century for them is round about a year and change when using human measurements. As such when they finally returned to earth they were completely shocked. Twenty years wasn't all that long to them at all, it felt like an extended work trip more than anything else. So seeing the human children suddenly be no longer children and even have children of their own blew the bots away.

They knew human lifespans were short, but they didn't think they were that short.

Bumblebee was the first to return to Earth. He missed Rafael and the others and wanted to see the old base again. And so he sent a message to the American government in advance and requested a meeting with his human friends. His request was granted and soon after, he used the space bridge on Cybertron to get to earth. When he arrived he found himself before five humans who looked so similar to the ones he was familiar with, and yet incredibly different.

Rafael, now a full grown adult, was the first to step forward and greet Bumblebee as he stood staring with wide optics. Bumblebee was unable to believe what he was seeing and spent the next several minutes checking to be sure that, yes the human was indeed Rafael, and that no, he wasn't hallucinating. Then all the emotions Bumblebee had put away for later came bubbling up again.

Tearfully and with a wavering voice, Bumblebee refamiliarized himself with Rafael, then Miko, Jack, Agent Fowler, and even June. They were all much older, their organic frames more developed/deteriorated, and that startled Bumblebee. However he did his best to not show this as the children, now no longer children, began getting him up to date on everything that had gone on during his absence.

Bumblebee was sure there couldn't be any more surprises in store for him beyond the sudden (at least in his view) growth of the children into adults and the rapid aging of Fowler and June. But he found himself proven wrong when Rafael told him all about his efforts to reach Cybertron. He was only more shocked when he heard about Miko's adventures getting the organization in order all while handling being a parent. And of course, when Bumblebee felt about ready to faint from the sudden influx of data, June and Fowler let him know that they married and Jack told him all about his spouse was expecting.

With all the information and the sudden realization that humans age far quicker than he originally thought, Bumblebee sent out a notice to the rest of the team, requesting that they all join him on earth for a reunion. He did this partially out a fear that if he waited too long that the human children would up and die, but mostly out of a desire to have an excuse to get the team together again. His request was accepted by the team within a few days and soon after, they started to arrive.

Bulkhead and Wheeljack came next, and both were left flabbergasted at Miko's growth. She was still as energetic as ever and with enough will to fight a Con just like before, but the two wreckers still spent a hot minute trying to determine if Miko was actually Miko. After everything was confirmed they immediately tried to drag her into a game with them as their way of reminiscing. Rafael and Jack started to have flashbacks to times when Miko nearly got herself killed playing with the bots as she went about trying to play lob ball using a mech suit.

Ultra Magnus and Arcee came a day or so later, both swamped in work, but also eager to be back on earth. Ultra Magnus only because he wanted to ensure that none of the team did anything foolish, and Arcee because she had greatly missed her human ward throughout their time apart. While Arcee flung herself back into refamiliarizing herself with Jack who she had grown to consider a son of sorts, Ultra Magnus focused on stopping Miko and her wreckers from destroying things.

Smokescreen and Ratchet came last, each having been out beyond the borders of Cybertron doing work for the council before receiving the invitation to come to earth. Smokescreen was ecstatic and his first response was to look at the human children in awe, questioning them to see if they got reformatted before being told that, no, they just got older. Ratchet got to know the children again and congratulated Fowler and June before ultimately pulling away to watch from the sidelines. Earth had too many memories for him to be completely comfortable, especially without Optimus.

Once all the bots were settled, the now grown children brought out their families for the bots to meet.

Arcee nearly cried when she was introduced to Jack's wife and saw her very apparent pregnancy. It was incredibly hard for the two wheeler to keep her cool as Jack guided her servo toward his wife baby bump. She did end up shedding silent tears when the unborn babe kicked, allowing Arcee to feel the fledgling life growing within its mother's womb. Ratchet and the others found it incredibly interesting, but none had the same reactions as Arcee. In her mind she had only been gone the human equivalent of a few months only to return and find her human sparkling had gone off, grown up, and was about to have a child of his own. She was both pleased beyond measure at the development and sorrowful because it meant that her sparkling was all grown up and no longer needed her.

Jack, ever the kind soul, saw Arcee's emotional turmoil and asked her to be the godmother to his unborn child. The two wheeler very nearly broke down, but was able to keep her composure well enough to accept the offer with utmost respect. Such bonds, especially on Cybertron, were nothing to be taken lightly.

(Even far into the future when Jack and his children were long dead, Arcee remained and watched over his descendants loyally, totally devoted to her position as a godmother. To her it did not matter if the humans faded and died in a matter of months by Cybertronian standards. Jack and all his descendants were under her protection, she had promised him, and she intended to continue her watch, teaching and guiding his descendants centuries into the future for as long as his line remained.)

While Arcee had her moment with Jack and his wife, Ratchet and Bumblebee were introduced to the people Rafael saw as family. Rafael had not married or had any children of his own, being far too fixated on his work of reaching the stars to even begin considering such a thing. However he did take several bright and open minded apprentices who he saw as his children in a way. His apprentices were all relatively young, being in their late teens or early twenties, but in front of Bumblebee and Ratchet, they acted like children in a candy shop. Each of them asking questions at rapid fire pace, taking scans, making notes, or trying to climb up onto the medic and scout's armor.

Ratchet was scared more than anything else, not wanting to harm the little humans as they scurried about. He ended up sitting on the ground, perfectly still as Rafael's exuberant apprentices poked around and looked at him with what the medic could only describe as puppy dog eyes. For the first time in years, Ratchet smiled and allowed himself to relax, remembering times when Rafael acted the same way. As for Bumblebee? He teared up a little watching all of Rafael's apprentices scramble and look up at him with stars in their eyes. They might not have been born of Rafael, but Bumblebee could see Rafael's influence and felt more than a little excited as his big brother instincts kicked in. Rafael's little apprentices had so much to learn, so many questions, and endless curiosity. Bumblebee couldn't wait to watch them grow.

(Bumblebee ended up making earth his mostly permanent home, only ever returning to Cybertron for short periods of time or for important work. He took great joy in watching each generation of Rafael's space program work away happily, each being so curious and desperate to reach the stars. Eventually Bumblebee, in a far off future, would stand by the humans who had taken on Rafael's legacy as they stood before the council and joined the wider galaxy. Ratchet would become something of a legend for those in Rafael's program, turning up randomly and for a few months at a time before vanishing for decades. Ratchet couldn't stand getting attached after Rafael's death and so only returned to earth occasionally to check in on Rafael's legacy before leaving again. However when humanity finally did join the rest of the galaxy, he at last allowed himself to let go of his grief and connect with humans again.)

Meanwhile Ultra Magnus, Smokescreen, Bulkhead, and Wheeljack were introduced to Miko's rather large family. She had married, but she and her partner had not had children of their own, instead opting to adopt children from war torn countries. Miko's clan numbered around twelve strong including her and her spouse and not including her two dogs, both named after the wreckers she had grown up emulating. The wreckers and the rookie elite guardsman were left completely awestruck for the most part upon seeing Miko's rather ginormous family. They ended up spending the entire day playing with her horde of children, singing them songs, teaching them Cybertronian games, and wrecker standards. By the end of the day, each of Miko's children were thoroughly sold on the idea of becoming wreckers themselves.

Wheeljack, in his increadible wisdom, forged each of Miko's children little blades just for them, telling them to protect the innocent and fight for freedom like wreckers aught to. As her children were all between the ages of six and seventeen, the results of his gift giving were varied, but the end result led to Ultra Magnus giving the children lessons on proper blade usage and law. Bulkhead did his best to keep them from trying to stab each other, on purpose or by accident, all while Smokescreen made it more difficult by setting up targets and giving the children fake Decepticons to fight (he ended up pretending to be Megatron, much to the joy of the children as they defeated him in glorious combat).

(Miko's descendants would later go on to create a human division of the wreckers with Wheeljack and Bulkhead's help. Their unit was accepted by the Cybertronian council after more than a little haggling on Ultra Magnus's part. But in the end, humans and Cybertronians fought together side by side, as brothers and sisters in arms, bound together by their oaths as wreckers. Smokescreen was not involved much in this, but did train multiple humans in fighting against Cybertronian opponents.)

It was a good day for both humans and Cybertronians. At last, they were reunited... However not all news was pleasant.

When asked about Cybertron, the bots told them that it had been restored... at a cost. When questioned as to where Optimus was and what the cost happened to be, the saddened expression from the bots led the humans to piece the puzzle together rather quickly. To Rafael, Miko, and Jack, Optimus was not only their protector, but he was also a guide, teacher, and listening ear. They may not have been as close to the Prime as they were to the other bots, but he was still always there, always willing to march forward no matter the odds. As such hearing of his sacrifice to restore Cybertron was not surprising considering the Prime's personality, but it was saddening.

Optimus would never see the fruits of his labor, he would never know if earth was safe and if all went well. He would never know of Rafael's acheivements. He would never meet Miko's children. And he would never get to see Jack's unborn child.

They may not have known the Prime like Ratchet did, but they loved him nonetheless.

Optimus's Return

Ten years after the team returned to earth for the first time, Optimus returned to the living realm, and after completing his mission, made his own visit to the human children he had once guarded.

He was met with teary eyes and long awaited hugs. They were older, far older than he remembered them being, but the humans were still his little ones all the same. Optimus could not stop the small yet sad smile that formed on his face as he brought Jack, Miko, and Rafael up to his face. They hugged him softly and afterward, brought him to meet their families as they had done ten years prior with his team.

Rafael's apprentices were still as starry eyed as ever before, and Optimus patiently answered their questions when they were brought to him and promptly bombarded him with queries. Miko's children were an absolute joy for the Prime, even the grown ones were lovely. He spent hours telling her young ones stories and gently patting her first grandchild as the babe reached for his huge digit with a happy giggle. Jack's small family was just as wonderful for Optimus and he spent just as long lovingly playing with Jack's ten year old son and five year old daughter.

(Long into the future, Optimus still made journeys to earth just to meet the children born of Miko and Jack's lines. He became something of a mystical entity to their descendants, coming to earth once every handful of decades to bless the children and wish them well. Most would think it meant nothing, but later, after many generations had come and gone, each receiving Optimus's blessing, the children started to change. Almost as though an instinct had been implanted into them long ago, the children always came running when Optimus came, each reaching out to him and understanding his words despite nothing being spoke in English, or sometimes even aloud. In time, they would come to develop a unique bond with Cybertronians and an ability to understand them as no other humans had ever before. Weather it was the result of Optimus's blessings or the progression of humanity is debatable, but the results are undeniable.)

Goldbug did have quite a bit of adjustment but he's definitely not as bad as inferno. He's a funky boy, he gets more bee like the more upset he is and his animal like traits are just a part of him. Like how when people glare when they're upset Goldbug will hiss and buzz and twitch his wings to exaggerate that point

Wasp was definitely scared out of his mind when he realized Goldbug was Bumblebee, he was scared of Goldbug, he was scared of Bulkhead, he was ready to run to Elita or to Prowl (I like to think that Prowl and Wasp have developed an odd friendship)

Bulkhead was morr focused on Goldbug who he was trying to talk to even though Goldbug wouldn't hear a word of it while trying to attack Wasp and find his own teammates

Elita pulls both Wasp and Bulkhead aside separately to listen and she definitely feels for both of them

Wasp was reluctant to tell Sari, but when Bulkhead told her his side of the story and Sari wouldn't talk to him as much. Wasp finally broke and told her his side. Sari feels for both of them like Elita she understands that they were both trying to do the right thing

I don't want to say that Ultra Magnus was relieved when he discovered that Optimus had become Optronix however he was happy to find out some of how the decepticons had so much intell on the autobots. He was disappointed to find out that it was one of his prized students

On the topic of the decepticons having intell on the autobots Shockwave. Shockwave and Goldbug don't work together very much mostly because Megatron doesn't trust it thanks to the fact that Shockwave set Bumblebee up to become Goldbug. Shockwaves reveal just set Bulkhead and Wasp further apart, they both felt betrayed and Wasp felt played. Bulkhead was angry, he was upset that his friend was a pawn, upset that he had been tricked, upset that everything that had set his friend up for failure and set him without a friend was lie

Ooo yes exactly what I was thinking on Goldbug, he's adjusted to his bee-ness and it's just kinda who he is now

I can totally see Wasp seeing Elita and Prowl as safe people™️, especially with a giant angry bee person who's prepared to throttle you.

Bulkhead tried, he failed but what matters is he tried🥰

Ik this is probably a serious scene but I'm just imagining Goldbug chasing Wasp around with Bulkhead trying to keep up but Goldbug can fly giving him an unfair advantage

So Lita saved them, and she's hearing what they've gotta say and Sari does a little later because yeah: they were both trying to do the right thing.

Interesting but very logical response on Magus's part, it's like finding the one leak in your hose because at least you know where it is now.

This will be fun. But first I want to apologize for answering this ask late. Anyway, onto the chaos.

If I was in Transformers Animated Part 13: The Elite Guard's "Visit"

(This takes place before Ultra Magnus gets his aft kicked by a twig)

Sentinel Prime: Sir. I don't want to seem rude but why are we checking up on Optimus on his crew?

Ultra Magnus: Because of recent events I have decided that seeing how Optimus and his crew are doing is important if they want to continue their duties on Earth.

Sentinel Prime: I just hope we wrap things up before Cat can do anything.

Jazz: Aw come on SP. Cat's fun and you have to admit they have been more than helpful to us.

Sentinel Prime: Helpful to you maybe. All they have done is cause trouble.

As the ship landed Sentinel was more than cautious in exiting the ship.

Jazz: Sentinel. Cat's not going to pull anything this early.

Sentinel: Yeah? Well, why don't you tell that to the deca-cycle it took just to wash out all that glitter from their last prank. I swear I can still see some specks around the ship.

Me: Yo!

Sentinel: Speak of the devil.

Optimus: Ultra Magnus. What brings you here sir?

Ultra Magus: I have come to see how you and your crew are doing, given recent events.

Optimus: Oh. That is very compassionate of you sir. Um. Cat? If you are up for it can you accompany Jazz and Sentinel on patrol?

Me: Sure.

Sentinel Prime: What!? Sir. I think we are better off staying here.

Ultra Magnus: I think you and Jazz going on patrol is a good idea. It can give me time to talk to Optimus alone.

Sentinel Prime: Yes sir.

Jazz: Yes! Come on Cat.

Me: Ok. Let me grab my bag real quick. And I call riding with Sentinel!

Sentinel Prime: FRAG!

*Later on patrol*

Jazz: Cat. Why do you want to ride with Sentinel?

Me: Well because I have realized that myself and Sentinel don't have the best of relationships.

Sentinel Prime: Got that right.

Me: But I am hoping that this patrol can help us grow closer as friends.

Sentinel Prime: If that day comes I'll eat my elite guard wings.

Me: Anyway. You remember the Headmaster guy right?

Sentinel Prime: Umm. I have never heard of him.

Jazz: Oh. I remember. Prowl told me that he stole Bulkhead's body. Why bring up him?

Me: Because I happen to know where he is staying. He's staying in a nice house thanks to Powell and I was wondering if you want to help me play a little prank on him.

Jazz: Oh? What do you have in mind?

Me: Oh. You'll see.

When we got there I had pulled out a few rolls of toilet paper and a few round grey balls.

Sentinel Prime: What are we going to do with those?

Me: Well, we are going to cover his house in toilet paper and place a few of these around the outside of his house.

Jazz: What will they do?

Me: Sentinel? Do you remember my last prank?

Sentinel: Yeah?

Me: These babies explode in a glittery mess.

Sentinel: I want to place them.

Me: Sure. You show me where and I place them.

With there help we got everything done pretty quick and were out of there before anyone had taken videos. Plus when we got back we had the joy of seeing the Headmaster freak out.

Sentinel Prime: Play it again!

Me: How many times have we seen this video.

Sentinel Prime: Don't know and don't care.

Jazz: You two seem like you are becoming good friends.

*Jazz then hands him a separate pair of elite guard wings.*

Jazz: Start eating.

Sentinel Prime: Hey. I just enjoy seeing that human guy freak out there is no way I'll ever call Cat my friend. Now, I will see you later. Though send me a copy of that video ok?

Me: You got it.

*Sentinel then walks off and back to the ship.*

Me: He'll come around.

Jazz: Yeah. I'm sure he will.

Ultra Magnus had finished up by then and with that, they had to go back to Cybertron. Though not before I got one last prank in.

Sentinel Prime: OH COME ON!!

Jazz sped to Sentinel's quarters to see that Sentinel had found his desk to be covered in sticky notes that formed his chin. Jazz promptly started laughing his aft off. How Cat managed to do it they never found out but by then they had already left Earth's orbit so there was nothing he could do.

OC Dump

Ok… So this is a transformers Prime OC I have, but honestly I have at least 50+ but this is the ones I’m currently obsessed with so here we go!! Predacon time!!!

Name: SkyBreaker

Species: Predacon Dragon

Colors: Blue and silver

Personality: kind, sweet, playful, thoughtful, passionate, peaceful.

Looks: she is a more sturdy built Predacon, she’s a head taller then Ultra Magus in bot mode, Purple Optics,she has horns on her dragon form but not her bot form (the horns becomes apart of her shoulders) her wings are always raised slightly behind her back in either form.

Abilities: She is a lighting Dragon so instead of fire she breaths lightning, she can handle being electrocuted and often times will store that and shoot it back out.

Weakness: small spaces

Relationship: She is happily partnered with the love of her life Thorn.

Backstory: she woke up in a cave, she wasn’t sure how she got there, all she remembers was an impending sense of doom. When she left the cave she was greeted with a whole new world, one where the main species was Humans and where energon was a lot harder to find. She stayed in a forest where she eventually met Thorn, it took awhile but they soon where able to trust each other and eventually became really close, She has no interest in becoming apart of the Autobot Decepticon war.

Name: Thorn

Species: Predacon Dragon

Colors: Black and Silver

Personality: Quiet, reserved, funny once comfortable, highly protective, sensible, caring, cautious.

Looks: He’s roughly Optimus Primes height, he’s built for battle, or bulldozing. He has straight horns curved back on his head in both Dragon and Bot form, yellow optics that can either stare into your soul or be gentle, there is no inbetween. His wings likes to rest closed and together in both forms (kinda like a butterfly wing).

Abilities: he’s your basic fire breathing dragon.can handle higher heats better then others.

Weakness: for some reason humans???? And other small creatures??

Relationship: is very happily partnered with SkyBreaker, he would die for her and haunt anyone who goes near her if he does actually die.

Backstory: Thorn wake up at the bottom of a lake, he wasn’t sure how he got there, all that he knows is there was some sort of blast and smoke. When he got out of the lake he wondered to a forest… ok he ran to a forest because he freaked out when he saw humans for the first time. That’s when he met SkyBreaker, he had to admit he wasn’t so trusting at first but after sharing some energon he grew more comfortable, after awhile the two became close until they decided to be life partners. He doesn’t want to get involved with the Autobot Decepticon war, but he feels as if there is coming a time where they would have to make a choice.

Name: Snowfall

Species: Predacon Dragon

Colors: White and icy blue

Personality: Quiet, Reserved, Thoughtful, is silent but somehow has a calming aura around her that effects others.

Looks: She is very slim and sees eye to eye with Optimus height wise, She’s very elegant and graceful in both forms, she has twisted horns the lean back on her head in both forms, her horns also have little crystals hanging off them. Her optics are almost white but have a tiniest amount of blue in them when you look at her almost all stop in awe, many think she is some form of a powerful yet peaceful entity, her wings rest against her shoulders and back like a cape when she is in bot mode.

Abilities: She is an ice dragon, she can fire an ice blast or can freeze burn you with just a touch of her claw like hands, can handle the extreme colds with ease, where bots can freeze and die she can thrive.

Weakness: She is highly sensitive to heat, even the desert of Jasper Nevada can effect her if she’s out too long.

Relationship: none, she’s uncomfortable being around others.

Backstory: She thawed out in the arctic, she only survived because of her unique ability. The others who were frozen with her not so lucky, she remembers everything, the astroid hitting the planet, most perished from that, then the world turned into ice, that’s when she lost everyone, she hated that she was the lone survivor, She hated that look I’m their eyes when they’re spark faded out. She wondered for who knows how long until she gave up, she let the ice consume her as she drifted off to a slumber, one she didn’t intend to wake from, but she did. She awake after thawing out, she was alone again but the world was new, she decided to explore it, she found out soon about the Autobot Decepticon war and does not want to be involved, she also learned of more survivors, SkyBreaker and Thorn, but she stays away from them. She fears becoming close only to have death take them away, so she’ll be at a distance alone.

"Ryuji, you can't be serious! You're expecting me to eat all this junk food by myself?! I got it all for you and I'm not even your girlfriend yet, this is extremely irregular and uncalled for!... A-And don't you dare give me those puppy dog eyes!"

"...OKAY, FINE!! I'll make a pig of myself! It's not my fault if I look like an unattractive slob with sauce on her face or...or burp either if I'm doing this for you, understood?!!"

She cracked.

What has Olga gotten herself into? This was enough food to feed entire family for a month and now she's just gonna stuff it all in her gut in front of the guy she likes, it's so unfair...but i-it's kinda hot this way now that the magus thinks about it...

Taking a few deep breathes to steady her pounding heart, the mage picked up a wrapped quadruple stacked burger, praying that she'll be praised after this. There's so much grease oozing between the meat entrapped between her fingers, and this was just her first bite. Olga was already in for the long haul.

Fries, crispy nuggets, mini apple pies, milkshakes, super-sized cups of soda, whole pizzas, and the rest of the burgers, one by one she munched, chewed, and chugged at whatever her fat mouth came into contact with. The white haired woman eventually had no choice but flex her abdominal region and burst open her signature black and orange outfit, unleashing her pale, drooping gut into the world while it CHURNED like a cement truck trying to digest all the slop that she herself put into it. Olga just couldn't find the willpower to restrain herself anymore, she had to impress Ryuji at any cost.

"Buur…BrrruUUUUUUuUuuUup! O-oh dear, this doesn't feel so good..."

*GwwwuuuOOOOOORRRBL!!*

"HWOOORRRRRRP!!...BRRAAAAAAAAOOOOORRR-UUUURRROORRR-uuurrr-HUUUUUUAAAAAAARRRRROOOOOOOOORRRRP!!!!!!!.... GUH! A-ahhhhh... hooonhghh..."

Stumbling backwards, that fat ass came crashing to the ground after that, gut sweat making her shimmer like a diamond.

It was getting to the point where the director was constantly running out of breathe, either from groaning, forcing herself to take huge bites to make everything go down faster, or by making "room". The words leaving her mouth were slurred coming out and that big belly of hers was a mess, she could almost tear up from how stretched out it felt. The lady's makeup was also absolutely ruined, smudged with all sorts of trace sauces, and greasy fingers were trailing themselves all the way up and down her disturbingly bloated stomach to try and make herself feel any sort of relief, belching the split-second whenever she felt the urge.

This whole ordeal has unlocked something inside Olga, something she can NEVER, EVER recover from-

Happy New Year everyone!

Well it might 2023 but here on this blog we are still firmly planted in 2021, working off that backlog!

So let’s continue on!

I got lucky, and managed to pick up Kingdom Rhinox and Kingdom Ultra Magnus on June, 16th, 2021

This is my third Ultra Magnus of this War For Cybertron toyline.

Collector’s Card:

It’s another Dinobot. pealing the sticker back you see him in an action pose looking somewhat like his old Beast Wars toy design. Would have been nice to have a collector’s card of Ultra Magnus, but, you know...

Vehicle Mode:

Vehicle mode is Magnus in Earth mode as a car carrier, though I’m pretty sure he could only carry cars on the top, and not in the interior like the G1 toy to the 2001 RID version.

Still, it looks okay. The flat nosed cab is good retool, though the arms are still visible like the Siege version.

My biggest issue with the vehicle mode is that there’s no trailer hitch so this truck can only make SUPER wide turns.

I so see that as a flaw on Hasbro’s part considering he was about $50.

Comparing Magnus’ earth mode to his Cybertron mode you see that his earth mode is a tad longer, and that’s because of the slight retooling of the trailer parts. I guess Hasbro was trying to create an more noticeable difference between the two toys, and not strictly a copy/paste situation...which for the most part still is,

Transformation:

Transforming Ultra Magnus is very similar to his Siege counterpart, however the gray tabs on the cab attach to the trailer slightly differently, and it’s a TIGHT fit. So tight that I’m worried that I might get too rough and eventually break.

These gray tabs are also the only connection to the trailer. At least the Siege version has four points of connection while the Kingdom version has only two.

Aside from this it’s not a difficult conversion process.

Root Mode:

-Magnus:

Magnus out of his armor is basically a while Optimus Prime who is slightly chubby.

I still love this head sculpt. Aside from the sculpting differences he’s not that much different from the Siege Naked Magnus.

-Ultra Magnus:

Ultra Magnus in robot mode is pretty good. You can definitely see the sculpting differences between the Siege and Kingdom (Earth mode)

I found this to be a fun touch, is that Ultra Magnus’ eyes are painted translucent plastic, but the rest of the head isn’t.

The Kingdom version has fewer greeblys than the Siege version which looks more visually busy.

The legs and forearms are the same as Siege, while the shoulder pillars, head & chest are new molds.

The big guy can pull off the one-foot pose. With the angled ankle I wasn’t sure if it was going to work or not.

Accessories:

Kingdom Ultra Magnus comes with three accessories; tow shoulder rockets and his blaster.

The Siege version came with these as well (though the shoulders rockets were a different mold) but also came with two black guns (which were also used for the Galaxy Prime toy).

So Kingdom Ultra Magnus comes with two less accessories than his predecessors and the store still charged the same price for him.

Final Thoughts:

Kingdom Ultra Magnus is a solid toy. It captures that G1 charm with modern day engineering, and considering I also have the Siege, and Netflix Spoiler version, Kingdom Magnus is my third figure...and quite frankly this might very well be the last Ultra Magnus I’ll ever buy...Who am I kidding, I’ll probably buy the next one too...

Though I dig the look of Kingdom Magnus I’m not too thrilled that his truck mode doesn’t have a swiveling hitch, and that he comes with fewer accessories than the previous Siege versions did.

I’m sure that he won’t be the last Ultra Magus figure ever to be made where else could this figure unless Hasbro makes a new TF Prime, or TF Animated version of him? (As of this post I already have the Shattered Glass version)

Anyway, this Ultra Magnus is a good figure, and makes a great addition to my collection. I find it pretty funny and odd how a massive chunk of the Kingdom toyline ended up being spill over from Earthrise. But whatcha gonna do? I guess Hasbro still had a larger library of G1 figures they wanted to do than they were interested in Beast Wars. Or, perhaps Hasbro was concerned that the world wasn’t ready for a Beast Wars revival.
