Danish Scurvy Grass Appreciation Post
This is the stuff that grows by the side of the road, right on the kerb, and flowers in spring. Tenacious little explorer has managed to spread from its exposed and rugged coastal environment and gone miles and miles inland along the road network. We accidentally created its salty, gritty environment by road gritting and it hitched its seeds to vehicles and travels along the airflow of passing traffic.
And now we have bright clouds of flowers everywhere. So thank you Danish Scurvy Grass, for being a cheeky little weed. And for preventing Scurvy; eat your greens, folks.
