Sometimes its the small good things in life that make it all that much sweeter.

A bull male Rex takes a small nap midday just cause it can. Its snoring has attracted the attention of a family of Acheroraptors passing through the area. What must the sounds of the time been like for creatures that lived then? What soft far off sounds or small up close calls could this being listened to as it lulled to sleep on its side? If it brought this massive beast down, think it would help anyone else sleep?

My take on carnotaurus! You can only just see it but yes it does have colourfull armpits like ph carno!

Kyoryujin Full Action Version

What an odd choice. I understand Kyoryuger was one of the most popular seasons in the past decade, but having a full-on two-episode crossover with consequences? And I liked the crossover. I was worried it would be like how the Kyuurangers spent half their season on Earth, but it was just the right length, gave us some good moments, and we got to see our main cast being good characters and in spiffy new outfits.

The Good: For a very bulky design, Kyoryujin-FA is just as if not even more posable than King-Ohger (the big feet help). That posability even transfers to Gabutyra. The transformation is roughly the same, the new combination is neat, Stegochi and Dricera have minor automorph when you pop their mouths open (Stegochi's shield pops off, and Dricera's horns flip up), and you can kinda mix in unintended Shugods and give it a few of the weapons.

The Bad: While they did a good job making Gabutyra posable and the same size as the original, Stegochi and Dricera are significantly smaller and lack much of their transformation from the original. Also, while I appreciate adding interplay with the other Kingohger toys, King Kyoryujin isn't visually interesting. I think it would have helped if something happened to the chest.

Overall, this is a very impressive update to an old design. While it lacks a little bit the original had, it adds a lot more in terms of interplay with the current line and posability. It makes me excited for next year and our next team, as it shows just how diverse we're still able to get with mech designs while still maintaining posability.

July 4th Weekend, featuring the ghosts of Nature’s past

Originally meant to be a piece to give tribute to America’s fossils sites, it eventually became both a tribute piece to the USA’s paleontological creatures... and a warning. The Bison, The California Condor and the Bald Eagle all have suffered at the hands of human activity (deliberately so in the bison’s case), but each have came back from the brink... but there’s always still risk. Without conservation efforts, and the help from institutions of the EPA, the San Diego Zoo and the Smithsonian, all three would have simply joined the giants of America’s past...

I really liked doodling the last one and decided to do another set of dinos. This time it's a tired mother and her four kids going on a stroll. Much like the reason I enjoyed the series Prehistoric Planet, I really like seeing depictions of dinosaurs just kinda vibing or doing mundane animal things.

Astro Gender: Male Background: Astro is a young T-Rasque who belongs to Sapphire as her pet and best friend, a severely ill advised pet to own for anybody because these things grow up to be an alpha predator, like keeping a Lion or a Tiger as a pet, but Astro has imprinted on Sapphire and the two of them have a psychic connection so Sapphire and Astro can telepathically communicate with one other although communicating is putting it generously because Astro's mind is not very complex. Personality: Astro is a lot like a big dumb puppy, he thinks about food a lot after all he is a growing Dinosaur monster, he is friendly and very playful but not fully aware of how big he is and often throws all his weight around causing him to fall over, and he can be protective and possessive of his master Sapphire. Strengths: Loyal, Protective, Strong Weaknesses: Feral, Simple, Constantly Hungry Powers: Psychic connection with Sapphire

Stats Elemental Energy: N/A Has no Element because he is not a Tannin Dragon Elemental Control: N/A Has no Elemental capabilities aside from being able to communicate with Sapphire Intelligence: 1/10 He is a dummy.  Combat Ability: 5/10 He may just be a baby T-Rasque but he has hunting instincts and his jaw is still very powerful, it would hurt immensely to get bitten by him. Potential to Grow: He is certainly going to grow a lot soon, and when he does he will be a force to be reckoned with, Sapphire might not be able to control him at that point

15/365 Morax! My old IRL friend, with whom I ran a youtube channel with for some time. This character, his "sona" (even though he's not a furry at all) was designed by me years ago, when I had no awareness of Bad Dragon mascot. Please guys, he has a wife and a child

1/32 Imaginary Skeleton Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops

Oh my goodness, I never posted the T-Rex! I put it up on the bird on a week where I did a series review, but I never realized I didn’t post it here. I built the T-Rex on my birthday of 2021, and I built the Triceratops the week of my birthday 2022, which is a fun coincidence. They’re mostly static models, but the Triceratops can be lifted off its display and has a neck joint, though it is front heavy so it has a tendency to lean.

The Details: I roughly painted the bases. Tried to use the same colors both times (a year apart), but I ran out of one of the greens. Still, it adds a lot of flare to what would have been just brown otherwise.

Overall, very fun builds. They’re static, so take that into account, but if you like Dinosaurs then this should be a fun display piece.
