The sticking point with a lot of those guess-your-age questionnaires is that they tend to hugely underestimate how long older technologies can hang on in spaces that have no reason to stay on the consumer treadmill, which means many of the experiences they're name-checking can be a lot more contemporary than they're assuming. Like, have I ever sent or received a fax? Yes, I have – within the past week. Have I ever paid for something with a paper cheque because that's the only form of payment the recipient could accept? Yeah, yesterday.

Oh my fucking god i just took this quiz and its fucking amazing please take it even if you dont know shit about genloss. It genuinely feels like an amazing way to introduce the series to someone, maybe even better then showing them the inauguration (how i normally introduce someone to genloss) even though this has more "spoilers". How it just starts as a normal quiz and gets darker, the questions about sunlight and your favorite animal, the descriptions for some of the characters??????? Fucking amazing thank you lex cat.

I honestly think tumblr should add quizzes next. Like, not everyone linking to uquiz, a portion of the website where you can make and take quizzes 

internet quizzes are all 100% accurate and verified until i get a result i don't like at which point they're all fake bullshit and a waste of time
