Horses & Carriage

Occasionally I'll come across some CC that really inspires me, and that's why I dropped everything I was supposed to be doing and obsessively made a bunch of poses for this GORGEOUS carriage instead. 😅 I've been needing something like this for ages!!

These are like add-ons rather than my usual sequential poses - they're mix and match and can be used together or separately for those traveling scenes. No inside poses yet (you can close the doors on the carriage to hide the fact it's empty) but I may make some later.

Notes: - the horses may clip with the harness depending on their build. My mules didn't clip at all but the slightly thicker cobs I made did, so just something to be aware of. - if you need an NPC driver, @notsooldmadcatlady also has a deco version in this medieval deco Sims set!

You will need: - Pose Player - Teleport Any Sim - Horse Ranch EP (if used with horses) - This carriage by @notsooldmadcatlady

TS4 Adult Horse .obj + UV Map Guide

i got 700 follows so sure this is the special

DL under the cut alongside some technical info.

UPDATE: Foals use the same UVs as adults, so the UV guide in the download is applicable to foals! I'll be adding a link to download the foal meshes ASAP.

MAJOR UPDATE: The missing space on the UVs has been found to belong to the reins! I've updated the guide accordingly. Please re-download!

The Rundown

So, disclaimer; this is an unrigged, unweighted .obj of the TS4 horse, split up exactly as it is in-game — Head, body and hooves (+fetlocks lol). This is 100% intended to help facilitate the meshing and uv mapping of bridles, saddles, etc. but at the moment it will not be helpful for rigging and/or weight painting anything. Sorry, that's a bit above my pay grade!

Additionally, with the included UV Map image, I believe I've covered every "slot" on the horse where a mesh could conceivably be placed (the saddlepads are 2d, so I did not include them) alongside labelling some of the more basic parts of the mesh for reference. As far as we know, all of the accessories/tack/hair on the TS4 horse shares the same UVs, so this should be everything. However, use the empty spaces on the UV guide at your own risk when mapping because it's possible something else is using them and I didn't catch it or find it.

DISCLAIMER: This is ONLY the adult horse mesh. The foal is a separate set of meshes, but I didn't prioritize yanking them out. They may or may not use the same UV mapping, but if they don't, I'll do a separate post for foals. If they do, I'll update this one with the foal meshes.

No real TOU on this because it's all EA's assets, but if you find this handy then share it around so the community can get a leg up (har har) on creating CC!

A List of Inclusive Clothes and Accessories TS4 (WIP)

Howdy! I decided to make this list as I love making diverse sims and always get really excited to find nice unisex clothes, as well as accesories for both frames. This list is just my own, but if there's anything you think should be on here, please let me know!

Creators

Regina Raven makes jewelry, accessories, and clothes for both frames! Their cc is unique, and there are plenty of dresses, harnesses, shoes, and more to choose from!

Barbie Aiden has so many dress options for masc framed sims, and tons of accessories like his iconic gay earrings and this strawberry jacket I use ALL THE TIME!

Bellassims has so much pride CC!! I also love their arm crutches that includes poses and a variety of colours for the crutches! There is some clipping of course due to the limitations of TS4 but it's such a cool piece of CC

Individual Accessories

Prosthetic Running Blades is a must have! You can download the child, toddler, and adult versions all from the post linked. I love using this CC, very little to no clipping at all and they blend so nicely with maxis match

Prosthetic Leg Accessory is something that I use all the time! It works so well, is compatible with shoes, and has a variety of colours to reflect the style of the sims wearing them

Modern wheelchair is mainly for posing, but still so cool to have. As they pointed out in their post, the most popular wheelchair CC is of a hospital style and not an every day use one, so I love that there is now another option

The Future is Accessible Shirt is exactly what it says on the tin!
