The grocery store can be set up in two ways
1 - Non-Functional Grocery Store: Used as a normal community lot with a custom grocery rabbithole rug. (I’ve already placed one on the lot) and if you have World Adventures, you can buy groceries with the Food register :)
2 - Functional Grocery Store: Your sim is able to buy grocery items (with ani’s merchant mod + Ani’s ration box mod) that gives them random fruits, vegetables, fish and meat to then be able to cook (with the cook with any ingredients Mod).+ (Placed Rabbithole already on the lot)

I feel like Daphne rolled to get unlucky trait for the day as it was probably the most unsuccessful leisure day ever 😭 After losing bunch of simoleons at arcade she stumbled upon Shen's current gf and her soon-to-be-ex-bestie Ariel and ultimately broke their early friendship by sharing some unfortunate news with her (the timing couldn't be more wrong as they just got a baby!!! wtf)

Bloopers
Okay, so I was just waiting for nighttime to fall in-between scenes and this happened. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WTF IS GOING ON?!
I find Noah casually chatting with a Hei ninja, and then Cain burst in to complain, but it seems like Noah finds that hot?!
Then somehow Cain (who has the mean trait) starts making fun of Random Ninja #03... and Noah doesn't like it.
This is the end of a very brief romance.
Random Ninja #03 went away to sulk and read a book. In Noah's office. While Noah glares at Cain.
Everyone's reconciled. Happy end.
Oh no, wait... Fei is now downstairs and she wants to talk to Noah. Scrap that, she wants to SLAP HIS SMUG FACE.
I guess it makes sense. Those two used to date when they were teens. But it looks like Fei doesn't have fond memories.
Thankfully, Julian's dog was around to copiously lick Noah's wounds.
Fei wasn't done with him: she suddenly throws a water balloon to his face.
And he gets growled and barked at by the very dog who was so friendly a minute ago.

#the sims 3#sims 3#ts3#you know what i love about ts3?#every animation is so realistic compared with the ts4 ones#ts4 is very cartoonish (but the hot tub animation was kinda hot too)#i just love everything in ts3#sometimes talking is enough for a story shot here#in ts4 you have to cheat their moodlets because it affects the way they talk (all smiles; kinda annoying)#you'd have to result in using poses#here? let them talk and bam#at least for me#i'd still use story poses if i'm able to (or if i find more; my database for ts3 is small)#if you read my rambles thank you! lol love that for you!

Captain Harlock characters in The Sims 3! I'm gonna need to find good alien eyes for Miime and either a better hairstyle for Tochiro or a better texture for the hair, but I'm happy with the results so far. ^_^

Still on edge, River lifted a shoulder in vague agreement, unsure where this was going.
“Well, that’s not me, River. If you expect a shouting match every time you upset me, that isn’t going to happen. But neither will I pretend your behaviour is acceptable. You even asked me not to, in fact.”
River nodded awkwardly; it was true, he had asked him exactly that, right after filming for the bachelor show had wrapped. I need you to promise you won’t just let me get away with it...
“I’ve learned to accept that you can be... grouchy, when you’re working, and I can see you’re trying hard to get better with that. So I give you that space when I can. But I will not be lashed out at when you’re in a foul mood that doesn’t involve me, and I won’t pretend it didn’t happen.”
His memory jogged, River’s cheeks flushed with shame; he’d almost forgotten snapping at him that morning. In truth, he had simply wanted to get away from his phone as fast as possible, to pretend the conversations with both his parents and his sister hadn’t happened. And to avoid any potential questions.
“I’m sorry,” River rushed to apologise. “I shouldn’t have spoken to you like that; I’m sorry. I just—” River stopped himself just in time. “...No excuses. I’m sorry.”
Chad’s eyes narrowed. “I understand you’re a temperamental person, Rivi. I won’t lie and say I don’t love parts of that. But I don’t do dramatics. If you think I’m going to be a sounding board for your temper, or chase after you when you are being an arse—”
River winced.
“—then you misjudge me.”
