my very first build lol
(i wish i was kidding i literally play this game since i was 8 and i never tried to build a house)
the lions family are moving and i need a big house with 4 bedrooms but i didnt like any of the houses i downloaded, so i thought about trying to build one myself =P this was the result, i think it looks good for a newbie at building! its empty inside, which is why there are no interior shots but im quite happy with it???

Hedges Shrubs for The Sims 2

The Chapel of the Sacred Heart is the church on the Capp side of Veronaville (which I've dubbed Old Towne). I love building church lots in my game, I just need to find more stuff for my Sims to do there so it's actually worth visiting!

Object Relocator - Updated
Object Relocator V3.3
Editing the Title and Description of an item will now remove any associated "comment" bloat (eg, "Edited by Sims 2 Categorizer" or "Batch 2 translation").
Added a new right-click context menu option "Tidy Catalog Strings". This removes all but the default language (EN-US) strings from the catalog (CTSS) resource and also any associated "bloat comments" for every selected object. If you have objects that have been corrupted by the "Sims 2 Categorizer" program, this action should fix the problem.
Changing the price for a fence no longer crashes if the cost entry in the associated STR# entry is missing. If the STR# resource isn't available in the .package file, this will be noted in the log file.
Added a mode to not include sub-folders when reading objects, by default this is off.
Thanks to lucydique for providing examples of the problems caused by the "Sims 2 Categorizer".

as usual, i am brought back to the sims by a convoluted concept (and too much free time):
"i want to play a legacy family, but i want to start it in uni... and i want to build the uni to get the vibes right."
so I've kind of built and cobbled together some lots to create a "high-brow-ish private university with ancient dorms and handful of newer buildings thanks to rich donors"
but what I spent eons on is the future secret society lot. yes, as someone who has maybe had one sim get into a secret society once, this is what i wanted to spend my time on.
my thoughts were: inherited manor house that is kind of well kept, a little in disrepair (minus really grungy cc -- I probably need to lighten the load as it is so I didn't want to get too far in the weeds), used by a society whose increasingly-warring ideals are freemasons vs. frat house.
can't have a secret society without some spooky secrets!

3t2 Science Lab Set
Here's a small set of my favorite things from the lab rabbithole!
I've got a window, double doors, walls/floor, and a handful of deco things for you.
I swear this statue has been converted somewhere before? But here he is again for you. I made his metallic parts extra shiny to distract you from the fact that his body texture is dismally low-res (but the statue base is lovely and detailed?)
Servo statue (Deco > Statue §4,001)
The Ambitions version of the lab is the same exact mesh but with grungier textures, so I have some grimy options of these next guys:
4-tile lettered sign (I hacked off the giant gears) plus a recolor (Deco > Wall §199)
A 4-tile wall HVAC unit + recolor (Plumbing > Misc §206). Viewable from NH
A rooftop HVAC unit + recolor (Plumbing > Misc §205). Viewable from NH
A 4-tile loading dock that spans two stories (cloned from a wall object) + slightly grimy recolor (Deco > Misc §199). Viewable from NH
A 3-story smokestack (Deco > Misc §215). Also viewable from NH
And for build mode:
A black double door (no diagonal)
A black 2-tile window (+diagonal)
Concrete slab wall, metallic brick wall
Blue/silver lino floor

I've started building this farmhouse, which I've named Forsters End, in another one of my custom hoods. It also has room for a home business! I think whoever lives here will run a florist or a farmer's market.
I've only decorated the living room so far, but I really like how it came together.
