Do you believe in fairies?
No one could deny that all the Robins had a unique and lively spirit, they began their career with stars in their eyes and feet in the air. Or at least most of them, Damian was still a work in progress.
Due to how the League of Assassins had raised him, it was a bit difficult to communicate with him. And most of the experiences or dreams that kids his age had were just not available. Dick had done everything to show him the "magic" but nothing was working. Not even his weekly Disney movie marathon.
That's why Dick decided to be a little more...literal about it. He asked Constantine and Zatanna for help in contacting a fairy (Zatanna looked at him as if he was crazy), this was because the last movie Damian had shown interest in was "Peter Pan". Or at least it was until Tinkerbell showed up and Damian declared that "he didn't believe in fairies."
Unfortunately for Constantine, he owed the former Robin a favor, so he tried to summon a Fairy. Of course, since the universe is engaged in making his life miserable, something went wrong. And instead of a Fairy, a ghost was looking around in confusion.
Danny didn't know where he got to, or why the boy in front of him asked him if he was "a fairy", but he decided to play along and quickly form crystal wings out of his ice. The halfa was quite amused by the situation, while Constantine looked doubtfully at the supposed "fairy" who didn't look like a fairy at all.
Danny smiled happily as he sat in the circle, he could leave at any time (and he hated being summoned) but the situation seemed extremely interesting.

i feel like an incredible hater for this but i feel as i get older the more my tolerance for shipping decreases. like i went from an avid enjoyer to just tolerating ship art to now getting outright upset and fighting the urge to curse every time i see shipping content (this doesnt apply to my mutuals and friends who ship things because they can do no wrong ever)

First off, what a title! Included here in its full glory because I didn't realize it was that long, but I delight in academic titles when played for poking fun especially.
I've been reading about a chapter of this a night, so far, and I'm enjoying it! It's much more approachable than I was afraid it would be, given the comp to Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell--this one is a doorstop, but it's a very readable doorstop! I'm excited to see where it goes.

(if I’m acknowledging the post-trial fight) it did really fuck her up. Aryaille was already pretty worn out and just wanted to go home with her loved ones. On the ship Alphinaud was pumping healing magic into her just to keep her alive and stable, and A’eris had to be restrained from doing lb3 by herself. Back in Sharlayan when they were able to check in detail what her injuries were specifically they found that Aryaille had broken both her arms (among many other wounds). If A’eris and Alphinaud were not such powerful healers she would never have been able to lift a sword again.

Sometimes your dork druid has to chat with the cute blacksmith and get pulled into dancing. And by dancing we mean catching the cute blacksmith who keeps tripping herself for some reason?
Honestly the whole session was a blast. We have a spring/new years festival that was full of games and dancing. My favorites were the paintbrawl, a six person free for all to get at your opponents with paint brushes, and the archery because Cael and Kanti kept. rolling. the same. thing.

Does Lyra have any siblings? / What's her family like?
So!!! Lyra doesn't have any siblings, and she lived with both her parents until she saw the letter her grandfather left her the farm.
Her mother is a witch who use to live in Stardew Valley, but when Lyra was born, they had to move to the City for her dad's job.
Lyra doesn't have any siblings because she is their miracle baby. They really wanted a big family, but years of nothing, her father gets desperate and goes to the church of Yoba and prays for a child of his own and soon after Celine finds out she is pregnant with Lyra ^o^
She wishes she had siblings and really likes the idea of a big family, but also understands sometimes you don't get what you want.
I would say her family is really chill despite the magical abilities. Celine uses magic to conceal her normal appearance which is very similar to Lyra herself. Lyra has magic bit doesn't know how to use or control it because she doesn't think she's magical ☠️ she just thinks that's normal.
Her mother is kind of spunky. She has an attitude and can be really hot headed, while her father is very easy going, relaxed and calm. Lyra definitely takes after her father!
