I think Trapper leaving a kiss for Hawkeye is the same thing as Sherlock telling Watson that they're smth better than partners, they're two people who love each other when he thought that he'd never see Watson again...Trapper doesn't know if he'll ever see Hawkeye again and they're more than just colleagues, they're best friends (=two people who love each other).

Sherlock managed to see Watson in person before he had to leave and Trapper desperately tried to get a hold of Hawkeye to say goodbye to him, he tried for so long that he didn't even have time to leave a note so he left a kiss for Hawkeye and told Radar to give it to Hawkeye. Trapper hoped that Hawkeye would understand what it means (it probably meant we're more than just partners (working in the OR together), we're friends (two people who love each other)) .

I'd also like to add that Trapper left his hat behind (Frank throws it through the swamp a few eps into season 4, I don't remember when exactly) and I like to think that Hawkeye found the hat and kept it.

Hi my name is Benjamin Franklin Hawk'eye Pierce and I have short ebony black hair with gray streaks and silver tips that reaches my mid neck and icy blue eyes like limpid tears (that's how I got my name) and a lot of people tell me I look like Natty Bumppo (AN: if u don't know who he is get da hell out of here!). I'm not related to Franklin Pierce but I wish I was because he's a major fucking hottie. I'm a captain but I hate guns and war. I have pale white skin. I'm also a surgeon, and I work at a MASH called the 4077th in Korea where I'm in the third year (I'm thirty). I'm a draftee (in case you couldn't tell) and I wear mostly olive drab. I love Tokyo and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing an olive drab shirt with a matching jacket around it and olive drab pants, a red bathrobe, and black combat boots. I was wearing dog tags, a Hawaiian shirt, a cowboy hat, and Groucho Marx glasses. I was walking outside the Swamp. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of majors stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

"Hey Hawkeye!" shouted a voice. I looked up. It was.... Trapper John McIntyre!

"What's up Trapper?" I asked.

"Nothing." he said shyly.
