Hiya buds! I think the Eclipse yesterday fucking possessed me because after not being able to draw anything for over a month I finally drew something!! I added some details today morning but I think they're done now.

They're both very messy sketches but it's tons better than anything I've done in a while, also they are stylised + head cannons, for example Blades has a bug mouth (mandibles) because helicopters look like dragonflies and I thought it would be a cool detail :3

Edit: I forgot to point out that Heatwave's mouth is supposed to be crocodilian-ish, it's not as obvious as I realised so I'm mentioning it now lol

I love the fact that Heatwave's firetruck mode just automatically gives him,, a firefighters hat

like I imagine that when he first scans his mode and transforms into bot mode he just looks up and is like "what the fuck is this"

for awhile he finds it ridiculous but by like season 3 he likes it which is why in the body swap episode heatwave puts on a firefighter helmet cuz that's what he's familiar with

After watching that episode of Rescue Bots where Chase admits he would be miserable if there was no crime to stop I came up with this insane crack AU where Chase runs a crime ring by night so there is more complex crime to bust by day with his buddies.

It was a while ago that I came up with this so I no longer remember the details, but I think I imagined midway through the story Heatwave would follow leads on the crime ring back to Chase's operation (as pictured above) and be like "Holy shit Chase if anyone finds out about this you're going to be in prison FOREVER if not WORSE" and in Heatwave's ride or die fashion he would cover for Chase on the promise that Chase shuts this deal down. If you can't beat them, join them, right? Chase, of course, has lost all control over the situation and doesn't know how to fix things without ruining his and Heatwave's lives. I believe I plotted for the climax of the story to be a gun fight between the out of control gang and the Griffin Rock police department. Chase, with the authority to control the gang and the police, would be out of time for fixing things quietly and realises that he's got to blow his cover and call things off now because people are actually dying right here right now. Maybe charlie could get shot for that extra angst. It's not a story i'd ever be bothered to write but I DO love to toss double life Chase around in my brain so perhaps one day I will finish this wip (it's about 6 months old now)

Kade has no problem with jumping into blazing fires, but he doesn’t do well in the cold weather. Kade gets sick and Heatwave, who has not yet seen his human catch a cold, “secretly”worries for his partner’s well-being.

Thankfully Cody comes up with a solution that will help them both, and Heatwave realizes he is warming up to his obnoxious human.

(Crush Headcanons💞)

"How would Heatwave react to himself gaining a crush on a human?"

A/N: Oh wow it's me actually putting effort- I'm on the 2nd season of this show rn and, GIF isn't mine, credits go to the original creator.

Warnings: Fluff, Injuries, Mention of Death and Being Burned alive (It's towards the reader so be aware), and Minor Angst.

•When Heatwave realizes that he gained romantic feelings for you, he becomes such a tsundere. He does and is in so much denial about his emotions.

•Kade is not helping, once he finds out that he has a crush on you. He will not hesitate to tease him.

"So Heatwave, you got a crush on someone on this team?" Kade asks the Red mech teasingly with a grin on his face. "Shut up Kade!" Heatwave replies harshly, but with a little tint of Energon-blush on his faceplates.

•If you're a rescuer on the team, you notice that Heatwave is being more protective over you than he usually is.

•If you get injured or almost died while saving someone, he'll yell at you, not pleased with you for being reckless and irresponsible.

"(Name)! Are you being an idiot!? You ran into the fire and almost burned yourself alive!"

•But if you just stay in the Firehouse with Cody, he feels relief that you won't be hurt by any potential threats.

•However, if you're stubborn he's not happy and would seem way too overprotective.

•Like- if the Rescue bots and the Burns family are in danger and your order is to stay back and not interfere until more instructions are given, but you decided to save them yourself?

•Yeah, be prepared to get another loud and brash scolding from the bot.

•He doesn't mean to be so hot-tempered and rude. It's just that Heatwave is just not the best at with dealing his emotions.

•Especially that fact he's a huge alien robot and you're a small fragile tiny human makes him resent his emotions. He might accidentally wound you and will feel guilty for it.

•So if you want to start a relationship with Heatwave, you have to be the one to make the first move, because again, he's not well with dealing with his feelings.

•At first he'd reject your affections and flirts with him while still being a bit of a meanie to you, but slowly Heatwave becomes quiet and would just turn his helm and say a simple "ok" while slightly blushing.

•It starts a bit rocky if you want to become his significant other, but over time he would let himself become close to you.

•When the both of you have free time, start a conversation or chat with him, and, praise him. It makes Heatwave glad that you appreciate and care for him greatly even if he's not expressing it freely <3

•Just being and seeing you every day with Heatwave already makes him feel happy with you, sometimes when you talk with him, and it becomes deep he'd offer his rare smile to you while you do the same thing <3

Kade in the back: HEY! YOU TWO SHOULD KISS!
