The fact that Rishi Sunak was not only unelected by the British public but also unelected by the Conservative party makes him the first person in world history that I know of that has become the head of a democratic nation with literally no-one in the entire country voting for him.

Former MPs going on TV with a Boris cutout to lecture the working class on saving money with tinfoil behind your radiator while wearing a Versace scarf. I’d call this peak Tory Britain but something worse will come along tomorrow.

Living in the UK this is what it is like every day. The Tory Scum are pushing dangerous retoric to try to hide the fact that they haven't made a single positive change for anyone or anything in the UK unless it lined thier own pockets.

AGAIN???!!!
ARE. YOU. JOKING?!!!
This didn’t last the last time the consevatives tried to pull this stunt and frankly I don’t expect to last long this time given the obvious detrimental effects to deny kids trans healthcare but that doesn’t make this any less sickening!
The way tories play with the lives of trans kids as a political football is disgusting! I can’t even imagine the disruptions that being blocked access to puberty blockers, twice in such a short period could have on vulnerable trans kids but I know it must be horribly distressing and destabilising.
At this point, I can’t help but wonder if the tories strategy to ‘deal’ with the trans ‘problem’ is psychological warfare! Doing their best to make life as confusing, dangerous and detrimental to trans youth to scare them away from transition altogether!
DONT LET THIS GO UNNOTICED! DONT LET THEM THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS, AGAIN!

So Rishi Sunak's grand plan for salvaging his premiership is to bring back the man who screw the country with austerity, risked it all on Brexit, lost, and then fucked off so he didn't have to deal with any of the consequences.
We desperately need a general election.

Blaming the previous government for everything is politics 101 but might be slightly problematic when you were a key figure in that government

Welcome to Tory Britain.
"British children who grew up during the years of austerity are shorter than their peers in Bulgaria, Montenegro and Lithuania, a study has found."
"Experts have said a poor national diet and cuts to the NHS are to blame. But they have also pointed out that height is a strong indicator of general living conditions, including illness and infection, stress, poverty and sleep quality."
"GPs in poorer areas of the country have reported a resurgence of Victorian diseases such as rickets and scurvy caused largely, they say, by nutritional deficiencies. NHS data shows that about 700 children a year are admitted to hospital with malnutrition, rickets or scurvy in England."

Having seen this Reddit post I think there are millions of people who care and notice. The last few years have been very instructive on how the rich wage class war on us, and I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say the Tories have created a tinderbox atmosphere among working people. It’s just very rare to hear dissenting voices in the media which cranks out an endless stream of articles like this:

The people who get their news from the Newscorp and Facebook bubble tend to live in well off areas where they don’t see the long queues of families waiting outside food banks come heatwave or torrential rain, but it’s pretty obvious to everyone else something is about to snap. Rent and bills spiraling, real wages falling, the cost of living crisis is going to drive millions into poverty; it’s even more serious than the poll tax which brought Thatcher down. But it is encouraging to see things like the resurgence in union membership, Mick Lynch challenging the bosses’ lies on TV, the Don’t Pay campaign and Enough is Enough.

Rishi Sunak is the man who bragged about taking public money away from deprived areas and using it to help wealthier areas. He’s our prime minister. General election now.
