(+ societal pressures).#the painting replaces the sword here to symbolize like the *thing* setting things off in mike's mind if that makes sense#the want and hope that the painting was a gift from will (the one he wants to be with) yet dealing with the conflicting feelings#of the painting actually being from el (obviously this isnt the case but lets say he fully believes will's lie about it being from her)#which is why both will and el are touching the painting but will has the paint on his hands (as well as having more of a grasp on it)#this is not meant to be a humorous piece! idk why i saw ppl implying this is meant to be a joke or mean towards el bc its absolutely not om#aand the from el tag was just mean being in a goofy mood lol wanted to add more cheesy symbolism#oh oh! and you can absolutely view this with bi mike in mind 😌💗

What’s your input/theories on the Cowboy/Creep from rc9gn?
I don't have too many solid headcanons/theories about him tbh ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ
There are a few basic ones that i like to toy around with, like:
he is an immortal from ancient times, tasked to observe Norisu lineage/successors (perhaps as a punishment from the gods? or because he was bored?)- mostly based on Secret of 9 comment that he existed before First Norisville Ninja.
he was a time-traveler that was sent back to record Norisville's Ninja heroics. - Secret of 9 comment about how he is not of this time and also because cowboy hats werent around 800 years ago.
he is a being from another dimension, but came to this world to observe First Ninja and all future Ninjas (a bit of isekai trope is always fun!).
he was human, but after meeting/being saved by Norisu Clan, he somehow gained immortality and decided to serve their line.
he was a spirit guardian of Norisu family that took physical form after the demise of most of the clan, in order to assist First in keeping Ninjanomicon safe for future generations. (its also why he is the one evaluating future ninja candidates, because he continues to do his duty to Norisu clan).
The first and last ones are my favorites. ;D
But otherwise I'm content not to put him in a neat mental box of who&what! In my opinion, sometime a little bit of mystery is good for the soul. ;)

I was rewatching episode 5 and the way Mimzy was interacting with Husker made me think. There wasn't a lot to go on besides Husker distrusting Mimzy and Mimzy clearly knowing that Husker is on Alastor's leash and has been 'slinging booze' for the Radio Demon for quite some time (maybe Al has had Husker as a spy in various bars to keep on top of Hell's gossip and information? Everyone wants to talk to the bartender, after all). But she did seem to take some joy in ordering Husk around.
I know we've all been coming up with theories as to why Alastor would bother to spare Husk when he came to Hell and wiped the board clean of Overlords (minus Zestial who Alastor seems somewhat wary of). Maybe he didn't want to go throught the bother of reshuffling the power structure again by killing off a recently risen Overlord or maybe he saw an opportunity for a powerful thrall.
Or maybe Mimzy, the woman who stole 50 grand from loan sharks presumably to pay off more imminent debts, got herself stuck in a contract with the Overlord of Gambling and Alastor had to go bail her ass out by playing for her soul in a poker game.
A game that went so well for Alastor that he ended up completely cleaning Husker out and then having the fallen Overlord sign his soul over as well.
I just really love the idea that Husk hates it when Alastor helps Mimzy because the last time he helped her his entire life went to shit.

I think most people would agree that gift giving is Zhongli's highest love language (giving). After that, I think would be words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, then physical touch. As for his highest love language (receiving), it'd probably be quality time.

people call the second half of death note boring as if it doesn’t contain both the worlds most pretentious love triangle and the worlds most tedious hate triangle. i don't expect adaptations to be carbon copies of the original, because then what would be the point of the adaptation when we already have the original. i don't expect adaptations to be better than the original, sure, there are a few cases of that happening, but it's rare.
what i do expect adaptations is to be faithful to the source material, keeping to the same themes that were integral to the original, and i do expect adaptations to maintain the integrity of the characters, especially in a show like avatar the last airbender, where much of its appeal and depth come from the growth, development and the relationships of the characters and that's where natla fails.
#changes to characters can be good sometimes. but the changes the creators of natla made are not good.#if you believe that the changes they have made are for the better? im not listening to you. argue with the wall.#i dont really care if you like it. if you like it. good for you!#i didnt. it sucks ass. its... so flat and completely assassinated so many characters. katara. bumi. iroh. hakoda.#there are few positives. it isnt all bad. most of it is though.#its not worse than the movie. ill give them that. some of the scenes were great. but... ugh.#side note - i see a lot of people complimenting the outfits and... sure. they look pretty. but the thing is they shouldn't look pretty.#aang is 12 years old. he's reckless and messy and loves to goof off. his clothes are not going to look pristine and brand new.#sokka teaches children to be warriors. you cannot tell me his clothes wouldn't be dirty and torn.#same with katara. but she's an amateur waterbender who messes up. a lot.#ZUKO HAS BEEN ON A RUN DOWN SHIP FOR THREE YEARS. his armour would be OLD.
