💫𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 2023💫
2023 has been a year to say the least so lets get into this 😂. As usual this is in no particular order cause I cant handle putting these into a proper order.
𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐬:
1. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐟𝐞 (2022).
I watched this on a whim and boy am I glad I did. The female lead is so unhinged but in the best way and our main guy is so in love with her I cant. Literally this drama was such a fun time and everything connected together so well. Just watch this drama pls.
2. 𝐁𝐨 𝐑𝐚! 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐡 {𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞} (2023).
Yoo In Na shines and I love the character growth that both the leads go through, everything that happens makes sense and it really does show that working on yourself isnt a linear process. There will be set backs but you can over come them. I tend to not care for side couples but I loved all of them in this, they were just hilarious or adorable.
3. 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧 (2023).
I wasnt going to watch this drama but thankfully instagram reels made me interested enough to give this a chance. I love all 4 of the leads, they are my babies and they deserve all the happiness in the world.
4. 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐅𝐥𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮 (2023).
This was such a cute, fun drama. I didnt expect to love it as much as I did, the family dynamics, friendships, everything was so well done and the 2 couples were the cutest.
5. 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 (2023).
Literally Instagram reels made me watch this and I do not regret it. The melodrama, romance, revenge, plot twists... Everything was such a wild ride, I recommend that everyone watches it.
𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐍𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬:
1. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 ~ 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧.
The irony, I always said that I wouldnt stan a group with more than 7 members 😂. Honestly I was just seeing too many funny reels about SVT and then I watched the Game Caterers videos without even knowing all of their names and Super was everywhere that I just fell into the rabbit hole that is Seventeen.
2. 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 ~ 𝐉𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐨.
My bias came and she ate. I love this song and it showed in my top 2023 songs its at number 6... The top 5 are all Taylor obviously.
3. 𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 ~ 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐨𝐤.
He came and took over the world. Nothing more to say about that.
4. 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐦 ~ 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐧.
Yall need to stop sleeping on Enhas japanese discography. This song is just so sweet and wonderful. I cant with it.
5. 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 ~ 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐦.
I just loved this whole song and the album too. Next LSF comeback when?!.
𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬:
So last time I only had the vault tracks but Speak Now was the album that made me a swiftie so not limiting myself to just the vault tracks this time.
1. 𝐇𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝.
This is my absolute favourite song. It is just such a masterpiece and can be related to in any situation.
2. 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝.
I love this song so much, I have a one shot of the same name 😂.
3. 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐅𝐥𝐲.
Im a hopeless romantic okay.
4. 𝐈𝐬 𝐈𝐭 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐰.
Do I even need to explain myself with this.
5. 𝐒𝐥𝐮𝐭!.
Most definitely not what I was expecting but I love it so much.
5 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝:
1. Bestie got married, shes happy and Im happy for her. It was a proper desi wedding and it was good fun.
2. I FINALLY graduated from University😂. Only took me like 5 years, one failed attempt and repeating my third year.
3. Made some great friends from the school I worked at, we bonded over how messed up the school we worked at is.
4. Managed to travel and have such great experiences.
5. Im happy with the fanfics I wrote this year. Still shocked that people actually read and enjoy the stuff I write but Im immensely grateful for all the love and support I get.

Semantic Error, my beloved its like the only show ive been able to actually rewatch (the series I've seen once, the movie twice) and I'm already planning on forcing my best friend to watch the movie with me soon
The Eclipse, one of the first few thai shows I watched, what can I say but akk & Ayan just live in my brain and oh those our skyy episodes were so so cute I love them so very much
Bad Buddy, sorry but I am a sucker for enemies to lovers (even tho they weren't really enemies) and the way tropes were presented in a way that just worked, also inkpa my loves
My School President, as a fan of musicals and teen/high school dramas, this was a perfect show. im so glad it came to me when it did, when I was/am in that same life stage as the characters
Our Dating Sim, im in love with semantic error so how could I not be in love with this show, it was so sweet and I loved how it executed a second-chance romance so well
special mention to the eighth sense, because I loved that show so much but it didn't give me as many brainworms as the other ones

EP. 12 Little Women THE GRAND FINALE.
Okaay, first of all no kiss? I needed a kiss between Do il and In joo, but maaaan, we didn't even get a hug! I feel betrayed! lol
Anyway... Everything else was perfect, they really tried to close all the main story lines and give us as many answers as possible in this last episode, all that without making it feel rushed, it felt like a slow and kind of sad goodbye.
Loved In kyung accepting her love for Jong ho and going to the US with him to keep studying. This boy was really such a selfless character, he got into all that chaos just because he loves In kyung, and he had to deal with so much lol . Being honest, he was innocent from the start, but it's curious that so many people found him so suspicious when he was doing absolute nothing besides being close to In kyung 24/7 lol, but thinking about it, it was probably because he was the most simple written character in the whole story, he got almost no background, he was there from the start, but we get to know so little about him, so that leaves an open space to fill with doubts, because "he could be anything", it gets suspicious just because we know so much about the other characters, I even think the writer did it on purpose just to give the audience another reason to be on the edge, "trust no one... just in case" 🤣 Anyway, I loooved his relationship with In kyung and how he really was there for here 24/7 without expecting anything in return.
Also In Hye got her happy ending running away with her bestie, and she even got to give back all that her sisters "gave" to her, so she wouldn't feel like a burden anymore. They all got the money just because In hye got to be Hyo rin best friend, so glad that that girl is happy with In hye and didn't have to deal with her family in the last episodes, she had enough trauma already.
I'm also glad we got to listen to that last In joo speech about feeling at home and be able to start a new life, she went through so much during this story. BUT THEN AGAIN they should have show us Do il going back to In joo, just for a second in a last scene, in a "few years later" moment, they seeing each other from far away or something 🤣 It's just that they had such a great chemistry, that couple was just so nice to see. I really hope to see them work together in another drama, just give me a romcom with them 🤣
The only thing that I feel like wasn't addresed here and maybe it should have been, is In kyung having all that inheritance from her Great aunt, that also would have a lot of debt in the future, but that's because they didn't know that great aunt really knew how to invest her money, like she told In kyung that in a few years all that she did or bought will have rewards because she really knew what she was doing. Anyway, so I think In Kyung will get more money in the future thanks to that lol. I just wanted to address that because I thiink it wasn't addressed again, and it would have been nice seeing In kyung get some notification of getting a lot of money and thinking about her great aunt, just like In joo got her apartment.
ANYWAY. Great ending, it didn't disappoint me at all. I give this kdrama 10/10, since everything was perfect, the whole cast, the cinematography, the plot, everything was amazing from start to finish, it got all my attention since the first episode and it only got better with each episode. This is going to be in my top 5 of kdramas of all time for sure.

So, yk how in ep 10, Juwon (Huisoo's dad) is going around trying to reach the motel, and he's so tired that when the lady on the bike (Huisoo's mom) finds him again he starts crying? And then she comforts him?
I never realized the parallel with the 19th or 20th ep when the big guy that Juwon beat up starts walking away from the school crying and Huisoo comes running and finds him on the way and starts comforting him too??

💫𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 2022💫
Well 2022 has ended by the time I post this 😂. Man it's been a year for me, so let me celebrate the dramas, songs, Taylor Swift Songs I enjoyed this year in no particular order...
𝐓𝐨𝐩 6 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐬:
1. 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 2021. (2021)
This was a highly anticipated drama for me. I finally got round to watching it. It had everything I love in a drama and I couldn't stop watching. Everything was great and I need more people to watch this drama.
2. 𝐀 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞. (2019).
This is the only drama that wasn't from 2021 or 22. It's been on my list for some time and I loved everything about it, the slow burn was so worth it and the secondary couple with they're enemies to lovers kinda story was fantastic.
3. 𝐀 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥. (2022).
MY FAVOURITE DRAMA OF THE YEAR AND IT DESERVES THE LOVE AND APPRECIATION IT GOT.
4. 𝐒𝐡**𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬. (2022).
I didn't expect to love this drama as much as I did. The chemistry between all the actors was top tier and the couples were the cutest things ever.
5. 𝐓𝐨 𝐅𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮. (2021).
This was the first drama I watched last year and it was like a warm hug in a drama. I love Figure Skating and seeing Speed Skating was something new and fresh for me. The friendships and relationships were cute as well.
6. 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫. (2021).
I know this was like a modern season 2 of a historical drama. I did start the historical drama but I just skipped to the last episode. Moving on from that, this drama was a fun time, the slow burnish relationship, the family drama. It was a fun time and I had the best time watching it.
𝐓𝐨𝐩 5 𝐍𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬:
1. 𝐑𝐮𝐧 𝐁𝐓𝐒 ~ 𝐁𝐓𝐒
This was my hype song. I have to leave the house at 7 am for work and it's hella dark out so this song just woke me up and the performance and practice vids? I'm dead and we are not worthy for this top tier song.
2. 𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧 ~ 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤.
The much anticipated comeback. I loved the album as a whole and the struggle to only pick one song was real but this song just sounds amazing and the mv with its parallels to other mvs was great.
3. 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞 ~ 𝐈𝐯𝐞.
I didn't expect to even get into Ive but here I am with this song being in my top 5 😂.
4. 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭 ~ 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐧.
This is probably my favourite Enha bside. It's literally a hug in song form to me. When I tell you I lost my mind that they performed it live at the GDA...
5. 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 ~ 𝐋𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐦.
I just love this song and the girls are hilarious so here it is 😂🤷🏽♀️.

1. So like if anyone remembers the whole time of me going through it in terms of Uni. Im repeating my third year and yeah that's happening. Also I'd like to thank everyone that sent asks and comments on my fics being reassuring and comforting. Thank you all so much, I didn't expect the support but getting it was much appreciated.
2. I've finally figured out what I want to do with my life 😂. So I got a job at a school, I'm a teaching assistant and that kinda solidified the idea of becoming an English teacher for me.
3. Found my platonic soulmate 😂. Love this idiot and honestly it's weird how we never met before but now she's my best friend and I love her idiotic ass 😂.
4. I finished the True Beauty fanfic, it finished with 30k+ words and that's insane to me.
5. I started and finished a handful of Enhypen smaus. I love writing them and I love the interaction with readers. I love that I've got a permanent taglist. Something I only ever dreamed of since I started reading smaus in 2020. So thanks for that to my wonderful readers. I'm thinking of branching out to other groups (txt, bts) but don't hold me to that 😂.

random thoughts about run on, episode two
(please do note that this post contains spoilers so read at your own risk. this episode also contains scenes of physical assault/violence. if that triggers you, i advise you not to watch it)
i don’t know how i forgot to say it in my episode one post but the opening credits are so cute. i like the music and the fact they only put the names of the actors, not the surnames. makes it feel a little bit more personal
i’d like to personally thank seo dan ah for finding the perfect phrase to describe ki seon gyeom: “It’s adorable how aloof he is” 💗 if this didn’t happen in episode two, it would’ve taken me years to try and describe the athlete
i also noticed that the first time seon gyeom genuinely smiles is when he’s talking about running. you can see how passionate he is 💖 and the fact that he usually doesn’t smile makes this moment extra special
while we’re still on ki seon gyeom, i like his morals/ethics. he defends kim woo sik and is ready to face consequences for his actions (he had a fight with park gyu beok and kim ki beom aka kim woo sik’s bullies)
seon gyeom doesn’t want to let that whole bullying thing slide. he’s ready to defend and be there for woo sik, but it seems he’s the only one. i can imagine the disappointment he felt when he realized everyone around him knew about it but didn’t react and pretended like nothing happened.
the scene where both woo sik and seon gyeom are at the hospital is heart-breaking because it’s unfair how woo sik is the one to receive all that violence when he did nothing wrong. but also because he might face bigger consequences now that word got out 💔 i don’t know what will happen, but i fear for him :(
now let’s go back to more lighthearted matters :) one of (if not) the funniest scenes in this episode is the first meeting between seon gyeom and yoo jae gyu. i think it’s hilarious how everyone believes they will be recognized right away... and then you have seon gyeom who doesn’t know current slang nor people’s names lol seon gyeom’s come backs are always witty
my favourite scene was when seon gyeom and mi joo got drinks and talked to each other 💞
i was waiting to see how this show will depict being a translator and i am not disappointed. i felt that when mi joo said “Not a lot of people wait until the end to see my name”. sometimes, being a translator feels like that. you do all the job and you can feel like it’s in vain because not a lot of people notice it 💔
i also related a lot to the reasons why mi joo became a translator 💕 we do have a lot in common (well, except the appearance). i was also inspired by another translator’s work. i think it’s a beautiful job. you help connect people who would never be able to communicate with each other otherwise
the line in the movie that mi joo references is beautiful and encompasses the job (translator) so well : “I wonder who it is that lays a bridge between the two different languages. I’d also love to do that for a living” i mean i would’ve immediately wanted to become a translator if i came acroos that line
oh and let’s not talk about how being a translator makes her feel or else you’ll have to go through a 12 hour exposé of why she’s totally right and it feels like she stole the words out of my mouth
another great description of seon gyeom comes at the end of the episode from none other than oh mi joo, he’s “mentally strong” and i completely agree with that. he showed us how mentally strong he is by standing his ground on the bullying matter
