Gill, I was born for this by Alice Oseman, I'm glad my mom died by Jennette McCurdy and Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe by Benjamin Alire. Can't read more than 3 pages without my mind starting to wander around.

i've seen what that radio host said about the boys and i'm beyond disgusting. ever since covid has started a lot of people have made comments like that towards not just bts but asians as a whole. i can't believe people still behave that way; it's 2021. i'm so glad that the host is facing backlash because i'm really hoping that they will open their eyes and see that they were extremely wrong about the comments that they made.
i'm not sure if bighit has made a statement on it yet (i stopped reading because it made angry🙄) but several artists has came to bts' defense, especially halsey. i grateful that the boys have someone like her willing to back them up and speak up for them because i don't think a lot of people would be bold enough to call out how wrong it is. the host apologized but the🥴 "apology" didn't seem sincere at all
Hi love! Yeah, the radio host needs to be fired. Like period. It’s unacceptable and it just highlights the massive issue of anti-Asian racism and discrimination that has always been a problem but especially so since the pandemic started.
Quite honestly, the radio station can cram their apology so far up their asses. They obviously don’t think what was said was wrong and are only apologizing because of the uproar. Racists will do racist shit. And yeah artists did come to bts’ defense, but I have to wonder if they would have done so if fans hadn’t been all up on their social platforms telling them to open their mouths. But it’s good some celeb pals have spoken up.

hi there sammy! i've been a silent reader for quite sometime now, but i really wanted to pop in and tell you that the final for mid was so good! especially the ending, i'm so glad that tae and the oc got their happy ending. it was beautiful. the couple has grown so much together and have fought through so many barriers and came out stronger than ever. they deserved it! this fic and the oc will always have a special place in my heart, reading the way you depicted some of her struggles (and also brought awareness) really stuck with me. lmao i literally stopped everything that i was doing when i got the notification. i'm very excited to read your future work! thank you so much for giving us these amazing fics! ❤❤❤

i agree with you so much on that. i think i mentioned it before but I think the two main things that draws people to them is the fact that they are just naturally talented and are not like any other group that kpop has seen. they push boundaries and speak out on a lot of things that you wouldn't see with a lot of people within that specific industry probably because some of those things are sensitive topics. they truly are amazing, and i love that with every through every era they try to put out different messages with their music and create a positive influence. :)
okay i think we all know by now that these guys can pull of any hair style or color. i really love the way the tae's hair looks now because it just suits him so well. i was scrolling through twitter and found a photo of where some people were comparing his hair to Min Holly. it's funny but also really cute. 😭 lmao even during the vlive yoongi said that it's the cutest hairstyle he's ever had.

I completely agree!! I was just hanging out with a friend last night and like she likes bts but she doesn’t really pay much attention to them or anything. But I showed her the butter mv (as I should lol) and she was just like blown away by them like she couldn’t quite understand how they actually do what they do. And I’m like same dude, they’re insane. And exactly, they actually speak on real shit which can be a very rare thing, especially for people of their status. It’s like the music is good, the boys are fun and attractive, but then there’s all these layers to them. Just a bunch of depth honestly.
I am in love with Tae’s hair right now lol I know people are finding it to be quite polarizing but I’m definitely on the pro poodle-do side haha. He looks adorable but also it’s tae and he has that duality so like the man looks fucking fine!!! The min holly comparisons are so funny and cute lol. And omg I did not know that yoongi said it was his cutest hair style aww my boys :(( I will cry lol

OMG LIV THE BUTTER MV WAS FUCKING GOOD!! did you watch they boys' vlive? i was so sure that jungkook's piercing was real. 😭 he took it off and tae started to play with it lmao. also can we talk about how good it was to see yoongi moving his shoulders? UGH THEY WERE ALL GLOWING. i saw on twitter that it said butter now holds the record for the fastest mv to reach 10m, 20m, 30m, 40m, and 50m views in youtube history!! the power our boys and ARMY holds is *chefs kiss*
plus that, watching jungkook put forks into taehyung's hair and then start doing the same to everyone else was the funniest thing. even himself😭

i agree!! omg i love how they've began writing a bit more upbeat music. i feel like a lot of people are still down sometimes because of the pandemic (understandably) and they're just finding different ways to boost everyone's spirits, ugh i love our boys!! i've had ptd on repeat just about as much as i did with dynamite and butter lmao. i really like how diverse the mv was and my favorite scene had to be where tae and jimin were with the kids and they let go of the purple balloons 🥺

I know ptd has had a lot of hate and like to each their own but it's such a happy pill to me and the mv is just pure serotonin <3 Saraya pointed out that like after such a tough time, that's still ongoing, it's nice for them to just have happy fun songs to perform and like YES! Not even just for the fans to hear but for them to literally be able to just go out and have fun on stage. It's really cool to see, in my opinion. The diversity in the mv was really cool and the scene with the tae and jimin with the kids was :( so cute! I think my fav scene had to be the sope moment though. Like SOPE lol that's actually my fav part of the song, sing it rapper boys!

i'm with you on that one 100%! to be honest i think that a lot of people within the music industry (and those in the Grammys) think that just because they aren't from the states that it's okay to do the things that they do. it's disgusting. like no disrespect to the people who got the award instead, but it should have been BTS that had gotten it. they've worked extremely hard since day once, literally since they DEBUTED and to have work like that overlooked by an audience of that size is devastating. it's like they didn't even care about the views or statistics, like what's the point in having them if you aren't going to use them?
when Yoongi said what he said, i think that was especially heartbreaking mainly because it's we know that they did everything that they could to even get into that nomination category. they've broken so many incredible records and for them to not even choose them when everything was laid out on the table is a huge slap in the face. i really hope that they don't begin to associate the hard work they do with the amount of awards they get. they've done more than enough. i want to give them a big hug and tell them that they did well regardless of not winning :(
That’s a good point about people thinking they can get away with what they blatantly use bts for simply bc bts are from korea. It’s pretty fucking gross. I still think bts getting zero nominations for mots: 7 was the real snub but it was typical. When you look at the constant mistreatment and disregard of black and poc artists at the grammys, this is definitely not out of the ordinary. Or unexpected for that matter.
I agree, what Yoongi said was really sad bc they are already working their asses off and this one award shouldn’t negate the group’s success. Like it literally doesn’t change anything about how successful bts are. I know they want the award, but the grammys are so questionable I really wish they wouldn’t take the loss as a mark against the quality of their music.

right! a lot of people definitely do think that they get whatever they want simply just because they are "bts" but that isn't the case at all. they get the things that they earn along with the constant positive recognition from people because they are so well respected as individuals. one thing about them is that they don't put off a false image, they are the same way off-camera that they are when on-camera. it's hard (especially when you're not from a certain country or area) to work your way up and get that type of attention. anyone who has had anything bad to say about them most likely is an anti or simply a a hater because there's definitely been some people in the past that have done so.
(ok i sadly wasn't able to find the drawing of yoongi that i mentioned. i searched high and low for it but came up with nothing 😭 but i mentioned it to a close friend and they knew what i was talking about and couldn't find either but they sent me a link to this article called "this bts fan art blew v's mind away." i would save and send it that way but i wasn't sure if the artist would want their work resposted but their name is @//_baba_jk. they're really talented!!)

it makes me so happy to hear that you're doing well! :) yes, i am good too, just wishing this pandemic was over already haha. it's kind of frustrating because it's like...so many people are being difficult about it? in my state, mask mandates have been put back in place and officials are encouraging social distancing but it's like what their saying is going over people's heads :/ i wish they took things more seriously. (sorry for the small rant, i really needed to get that off my chest lol)
but yes! i did love the fic. i really like how you've written for all the girls and the members to have platonic relationships with each other, the ones that the younger ones have going on is 100% my favorite though. Peaches and Dear's friendship is really similar to how Jimin and Tae's is. we could really see it when Jimin and dear went through their breakup and peaches was just wanting to make sure that dear was okay, the same going for Tae and Jimin.
i sat down the other night to read the new Yoongi and Kid fic and omg when i read that Kid had thoughts about feeling rejected my heart kinda ached for her. you could tell that Yoongi really wasn't trying to make her feel that way in the slightest, i feel like everything that had went down between them was a result of him trying to juggle both work and keeping a relationship. his career and what he has going with the oc are both extremely important to him but he just got a little sidetracked. but it's easy to understand why Kid had those types of feelings though. it was obvious that his intentions weren't to hurt her and he really did want to work things out. the part that stuck sith me the most was when he had told her "i'm not going anywhere. i'll see you in the morning," because i think a lot of people would have stormed off after that.
THOSE WERE MY EXACT THOUGHTS AT FIRST TOO. 😭 lmao but then i had to backtrack and think about more because he's just simply confident in his ability to be able to write music. i think plenty of people would look at it that way but then eventually start to think otherwise since he's just always been that way. he (including the members too) puts so much effort and time into what he does. that type of confidence looks great on him, especially when he produces so much and works with other artists too.

Honestly I adore writing Peaches and Dear lol and I'm so glad you enjoy the friendships! I think seeing how Jimin and Tae are together I just really wanted to make Peaches and Dear very similar. In the first Jimin and Dear fic where she meets Jimin, Peaches, and Tae for the first time, I really wanted to show that like Dear was of course infatuated with Jimin but she was like also very smitten with Peaches lol. Like she really found her best friends in one go, good for her :(
Yeah :( I definitely feel for Kid, and I'm glad that you did too. It's so tough to deal with feeling rejected and kind of unwanted but like not feeling comfortable in expressing that. And of course Yoongi would never want to make her feel like that but I just think he gets wrapped up in work and doesn't even realize that like he may be neglecting Kid. And since she doesn't say anything he's literally just chilling thinking things are fine lol. And yeah definitely, Yoongi wants Kid to know that he's not taking an easy out at any point in their relationship so like he'll be there when she's ready to actually have a conversation

I love that Yoongi has that kind of quiet confidence about him at all times and when he gets a bit more loud with it 😩 GO OFF KING!!! But I did like his explanation that like every song is how it's supposed to be, he doesn't want do overs, I really loved that answer

right, i definitely agree with you! so many people see Jin as being the "mom" of the group, i can see where they get that idea from because he is naturally caring and makes sure everyone around him is well. since i first got into them i always saw him more of a older brother to them instead lol. especially with Jungkook because he's always like "i raised him up." 🥺

also i saw this pic on twitter earlier tonight and someone said that the boys are preparing for a comeback and i'm really excited! Jungkook has short purple hair, Hobi is blonde, Tae and Yoongi have black mullets and Jin has a brown one. no one could really tell what color Joon or Jimin's hair was because they were wearing caps.
Jin is such a sweetie :( i find him to be the most relatable member but maybe that’s just me having a big ego and wanting to be like him hahaha. I agree, he’s very nurturing (especially with jk lol) <3
