Good day.
I would like to suggest one of the unusual pairings. Of course, I know that you like Ichimondo, but I hope you don't mind this suggestion... What about Togaishi (Byakuya/Ishimaru)? Yes, Ultimate Attendant and Heir sounds strange, but I think their relationship would be smooth and awkward.
In addition, I ask for my girlfriend, because she loves your art and I wanted to please her.
Thanks for understanding!
Another ship I haven’t heard of! Well, I’ll get right to it!

Curious on your thoughts of the togaishi ship (kiyotaka x Byakuya) and are you a multishipper?
I am a multi-shipper. granted that does depend on character to character for me sometimes, but for the most part yeah.
I actually like that ship quite a lot. I’m not sure how to describe why but I just do.
I actually draw Togami fighting with mondo a lot, because in the little alternate universe of my brain,Togami had formed a crush on Kiyotaka in his childhood that never quite went away. that’s one of the reasons him and mondo got beef with each other in some of my comics. that and they dislike each other greatly. But Togami be mad jelly.
I’m thinking of perhaps writing a fanfic for all this jazz but it depends on my anxiety. So for now it will manifest in byakuya and mondo fighting in random fastfood establishments (secretly) over Taka’s affections.
I also like to think Kiyotaka has a secret group of classmates that got a crush on him.
thank you for asking! I love it when people ask questions cause I’m hella shy. Also hope this is understandable, I’m not the best with words.

So like..
Ishigami (TogaIshi???). Kiyotaka and Byakuya. It has weird potential.
It'd definitely fall under the Enemies to Lovers category, but I feel like that's just all of their ship dynamics in a nutshell. Byakuya definitely would fall under the Genius category that Kiyotaka despises. In Takas eyes, Byakuya didn't work for anything. He grew up privileged and rich and had everything handed to him, and then he gets into a prestigious school purely because he's rich. However, Byakuya did have to WORK for it. If I remember right, Byakuya had to fight and win against dozens of half-siblings in order to become the heir. Him being an heir wasn't something handed to him on a platter, it was something he did genuinely have to fight for. And I feel like if Taka knew that it'd certainly change his opinion regarding him.
Byakuya on the other hand.. I could see him being annoyed by Taka. He's loud, overbearing, emotional.. but he definitely doesn't take Byakuyas shit, either. He has a level of audacity that I feel Byakuya would be impressed by.
It's one of those pairings I wish people talked about more!! It has so much potential, especially with the HCS I've seen of them being childhood friends before toranosuke pulled his bullshit (which, does make sense!! The Togami family definitely would be able to have ties with a PRIME MINISTER).

Hello ! ☺️
Togaishi (Togami and Ishimaru)
They’d definitely face issues, both in terms of their vastly different backgrounds and their struggles with social interaction. Togami may be callous towards Ishimaru’s financial situation, while Ishimaru both envies and resents Togami for his “unearned” success. His opinion may change as the relationship develops.

Here is my entry for @dr-rarepair-week-blog! I was able to put together something for today's prompt, First Date! It isn't as long as I hoped for it to be, but oh well ^^;;; There were many scenes I wanted to expand upon, but I wanted to get this out on time, so I kept it short. Maybe one day I'll fix it up, but for now it'll stay short lol
Word count: 3.1k Pairing: Kiyotaka/Byakuya Rating: G I hope you enjoy!
Byakuya checked his watch. Three minutes left. He looked out the window he sat by–small businesses like this weren’t the type of place he’d normally go to. If he wanted a cup of coffee, he would just ask one of his maids to make some for him. Or go to a proper coffeehouse, one that at least sold decent cups of coffee. But no, instead he found himself in a commoner’s local coffee shop that people frequented for half-assed coffee, stale and disgusting desserts, and free wifi. In any other instance, he would’ve left. Hell, he wouldn’t even enter the establishment in the first place. But, if this was where the first date was going to be held, he would just have to hold out for a bit.
He checked his watch again. One minute left until the agreed upon time of arrival. Byakuya had arrived ten minutes earlier, to not only scope out the place, but to gain the upper hand.
Dates were like business meetings. They were to get a feel of the other person, to see if they were worth enough of your time and money. And to see if they were worth his time and money was exactly what Byakuya wanted to find out. He wanted to see if they were even worth the time of a Togami. He already knew the answer–which was no, most definitely not–but even still, humoring them by going on this “date” wouldn’t hurt. Hell, it would probably be amusing on his end, as he watches them squirm and grow uncomfortable. He couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought.
Byakuya looked out the window again, watching the no-names around him continue on their days. The harsh rain pattered against the window, leaving a nice sound that mixed well with the chatter inside and the bustling noise outside. The simple and pleasant noise was interrupted by a loud roar of an engine, though. God, how obnoxious.
Water from the streets splashed against the sidewalk as a motorcycle–which sounded even louder now that it was in line of sight, Jesus–pulled up near the sidewalk. The driver of course wasn’t wearing a helmet, and even in the rain, Byakuya could recognize that appalling pompadour anywhere. The passenger on the motorcycle, who sat behind Owada and tightly wrapped arms around his torso, was actually wearing a helmet. Byakuya wasn’t surprised to see it was Ishimaru who took off the helmet. Handing it off to the driver, he was quick to give his friend a quick wave goodbye and run into the building.
The bell loudly rang, announcing Ishimaru’s presence. He scanned the room, and when the two met eyes, a large smile grew on his face. Byakuya resisted the urge to roll his eyes at him.
Another check of his watch. Only ten seconds after the agreed upon time. He really was quite punctual, and Byakuya expected nothing less of the hall monitor.
“Good afternoon, Togami!” Ishimaru greeted. He sat down across the heir, and shrugged off his raincoat, which revealed him still in his Hope’s Peak uniform, sans blazer. He made an attempt to fix up his hair, sending water droplets off and landing on the table and the surrounding area.
“Ishimaru,” Byakuya said, in a tone that showed affection. “I see you took a ride with Owada.” Yes, a good topic starter. Because if he were to establish this…relationship with Ishimaru, he would then, without a doubt, have to deal with plebeians like Owada. And having to deal with the Ultimate Biker-slash-Deliquent or whatever the fuck he was any longer than he had to was something he did not want to happen.
A mental tally under cons was added.
“Ah, yes!” Ishimaru answered with a stiff smile. “Mondo was kind enough to offer a ride! I normally take the bus or train, but I would’ve arrived late if I did, and I couldn’t have that happen!”
Byakuya titled his head up a bit and crossed his arms. He tried his best not to be condescending, but honestly there was only so much he could do. “If you paid more attention to time, then that wouldn't have happened.”
“I…yes, I suppose you’re right.” Ishimaru’s face turned a bit red in embarrassment as he hung his head in shame. Honestly, couldn’t he even at least keep eye contact? “I was just a bit caught up in studying, is all.”
Ah yes, Ishimaru, ever the studious one. It was one, if not the only thing, Byakuya could really relate to with him. But even so, working towards one goal was stupid. He was aware of Ishimaru’s goal; clear his family’s name and one day become prime minister, be one that was better than his grandfather was, but from how Byakuya saw it, it was just a whimsical dream that Ishimaru hasn’t learned to give up on yet.
But that wasn’t first date material. Even Byakuya knew that.
So instead, he gave a scoff and offered a smile. “Of course you of all people would forget about such an important event like this in favor of studying.”
Ishimaru’s face became even brighter as his head snapped back up. “Oh, I’m sorry if it came off that way, Togami! I didn’t mean to imply that I didn’t think our date was important, I-”
“It was a joke, Ishimaru. I am joking.” What, didn’t his smile help land the blow? Did Ishimaru just not get it, was his smile and tone not clear enough that it was something to not take seriously? He would have to ask Naegi about it later.
“Oh. I see.” Ishimaru gave a small smile, and stayed silent. Byakuya met the silence with his own.
Another tally added to the cons. If it was going to be this awkward in the future, then Byakuya wanted no part in it.
A click of heels announced another person’s presence. Just a waitress, there to do her job. “Hello there,” she greeted with a smile. “Are you boys ready to order?” Ishimaru’s head stiffly snapped over to her, a smile on his face that was as fake as Ludenberg’s twin drills.
“I would like a mocha, please,” Ishimaru said, “with whipped cream.” He didn’t even have to read the menu, not like Byalkuya had. He wondered how often Ishimaru spent his time in this so-called café for him to have memorized his order. Or maybe he was just a man of habit. Both were likely.
“A double espresso,” he ordered. “With an extra shot.”
”Alright then! Could I interest you in an order of tiramisu? It was just freshly made this morning-”
“Not interested.” He really couldn’t care less about their cakes and whether or not it was baked that morning. It was still probably subpar.
The waitress still just gave a smile. “Okay! Your orders should be out in just a moment.” She left, and Byakuya was again submerged in silence with Ishimaru. God, did he really have to be the one to break the silence? Where was the loudmouth that he was talking to just yesterday?
“If you really needed a ride,” Byakuya started, “then we could have ridden together. We both stay at Hope’s Peak afterall. Next time you will ride with me.”
Ishimaru perked up at that. “Next time?” he repeated, and then donned a large smile as he clasped his hands together. “Of course! How kind of you Togami, I’ll be sure to take up on that offer! I’ll be less of an inconvenience to Mondo as well, yes, it’ll be perfect!”
“I’m sure Owada doesn’t really mind,” Byakuya said. He was sure that Owada was willing to take any opportunity to rev that engine and be an overall nuisance on the streets.
“Yes, that may be true, but I still feel a bit awful for having to take time out of his day to drive me somewhere.” Their coffee arrived, and Ishimaru gave the waitress an enthusiastic thanks. Byakuya settled with a simple nod. Ishimaru took a small sip of the drink, getting more of a mouthful of whipped cream rather than the hot beverage. “Besides, it is my duty to be more diligent and watch the time. It wouldn’t be fair to others to push my poor time-management skills onto them.”
Byakuya tilted his head, while keeping a hand on the handle of the mug. “If that really is a problem for you, then I’m sure I can be of help. A designated driver to bring you wherever you need to be will be helpful, I’m sure.”
Ishimaru widened his eyes a bit. What, did Bykauya say something wrong? “I could never! Togami, as much as I appreciate the thought, I could never ask for someone to chauffeur me around!”
Byakuya frowned. “And why not?”
“Because that would entirely defeat the purpose of doing the hard work myself! Sure, having a few friends help me along the way is helpful, but hiring someone? I could never!”
“But you’re not hiring someone to do work for you, just to get you around the city faster. In fact, I’m sure that’ll be helpful in the long run. You want to be prime minister, don’t you? Can you really see someone of the status like that riding a bus or train?”
“Well…no, but even still! I can’t just hire someone, no matter how small of a task it is! I need to do this by myself. I’m sorry Togami, but I have to refuse the offer.” Byakuya gave a hum of displeasement, then went to taste the coffee. At least it was better than the shit Hope’s Peak served. “Alright, then I guess I’ll stop bugging you about it. Just know that the offer is open at any time.”
Ishimaru gave a hesitant nod. He took another sip of the beverage, and then they fell back into silence. And then the bell above the door gave a ring. Byakuya was seated where he could have an easy view of the door, as well as an easy pathway, in case there would be any reason to make a fast getaway. His eyes locked onto the people that entered in–a party of three. Nothing screamed out at him that they were a threat or anything to be concerned about, at least not at first.
The first one didn’t wear anything that revealed something about him. No school uniform or anything like, other than a graphic tee and jacket over it. So other than his poor choices in clothing, there wasn’t much there. Nothing stood out about the man, just dark brown hair that he kept pushing out of his face.
The second wore a beanie over his head, one that he kept pulling down over and over again to keep in place. Even with it on, Byakuya could still see the bright red hair. Wait.
Byakuya growled as he quickly recognized him, because no way in hell was a stupid beanie going to trick him. The Ultimate Baseball Star was obviously trying to hide himself, and was doing a poor job at it. And the third one, with large hair and wore sandals out in the rain, and for some idiotic reason was wearing a large pair of groucho glasses, was of course the so-called clairvoyant. Because of course they were here.
He still didn’t recognize the first one. Not until he flashed a smile to Kuwata, and showed off shark-like teeth, and then he’s reminded of some dirty mechanic that is a year above him, one that had atrocious hair and sharp teeth. No name came to mind, not that Byakuya would spare the time to even try and learn his name.
“What are they doing here?” Byakuya asked, glaring as the group entered. He really didn’t want to know why Hagakure was wearing what looked like as an attempt of a disguise, because he knew that the answer would be stupid. But he also wanted to know why the hell the three were here to crash his date with Ishimaru.
Ishimaru looked over his shoulder to see what Byakuya was talking about. A large, almost dramatic gasp in Byakuya’s opinion, was given, as the hall monitor stood up abruptly.
“Leon, Hiro, Souda! What are you three doing here?” The loud, booming voice might be fit for a school’s hallway, but it definitely didn’t fit a small establishment such as this. But he fought the urge to reprimand him, as he decided that his anger would be better suited towards the three idiots in front of them.
Kuwata looked over, and with widened eyes, gave a nervous chuckle. “Uh, hey guys! So…noticed that quickly huh?”
“As if that abhorrent beanie that you have would hide that face of yours.”
Kuwata snarled like some animal, but Hiro’s hand on his shoulder stopped him.
“Sup, guys! Taka, bro, how’s it going? Date going well?”
“Why are you three even here?” Byakuya pressed.
“Sorry dude, but my lips are zipped shut!” Kuwata said.
“Yeah!” the grease monkey added. “We’re being paid a whole lot to help out, so-”
“I’ll pay you double.”
“Mondo asked us to spy on Taka and see how he was doing. We thought we would’ve gotten away with wearing disguises, but I told Leon that my beanie wasn’t gonna do shit.”
“Dude!” Leon whirled over to the loud no-name. “I can’t fucking believe you sold us out like that!”
“What? It’s not like I’m friends with Mondo or anything. I just happen to be the guy that fixes his bike, y’know?”
“Are all three of you a part of this?”
“Nah, not me,” Hagakure said, and for some reason hasn’t taken off the fucking glasses. “I came here because I heard the other guys’ plan. I just wanted to see how my favorite step-bro was doing!”
Ishimaru’s group of friends itself could add five hundred tally marks under the list of cons. Dear God.
Thankfully Ishimaru stepped up, so Byakuya wouldn’t have to waste brain cells and precious time with them. “Leon, Souda, honestly! I can’t believe that you would let yourselves be bought by Mondo. Although we may not be on school grounds, the selling of your morality is not something to take lightly!”
The mechanic groaned. “Dude, are you really gonna give us a whole lecture?”
“Of course I am! And Mondo too, because this is just simply unacceptable!” He turned his attention to Hiro. “And you! While I appreciate the concern, spying on me or anyone is an intolerable act! I’m sure that Hiroko would be most displeased if I told her about this.”
“Actually I’m sure she wouldn’t mind all that much-”
“I won’t hear it! All three of you should be ashamed!”
“Jesus Christ, okay, we get it. Can I at least get some tiramisu? They’re baked fresh on Sundays.” Ishimaru stared at the grease monkey, almost looking confused. The mechanic then just shrugged, and went over to the counter to order something. Kuwata still continued to grumble loudly to himself, many curses being thrown under his breath, while Hagakure found an empty table to sit at.
Byakuya, getting tired of it all, simply left. God, how fucking infuriating it all was. Why in the world did he think this would end well? He paused at the front entrance, staying under the business’s awning, and scowled as the rain poured as hard as it did earlier that day.
“Togami!” He ignored Ishimaru’s call, and instead went to call his driver. Ishimaru was outside with him, and if it weren’t for how loud he always was, Byakuya wouldn’t even hear him over the rain. “I sincerely apologize for what happened in there! Had I known Mondo would pull something like this, I would’ve requested a different place. This is my fault, and I fully accept the blame.”
The phone started to ring. “Ishimaru, why in hell would you blame yourself? Blame your weirdo friends, who clearly have never heard principles of boundaries once in their lives!”
“Because I should have known they’d do something like this! Togami, please forgive me. I promise you that this won’t happen again!” Byakuya didn’t answer, and instead favored ordering his driver to come over already and pick him up. At least it was only a few minutes of waiting.
He looked over at Ishimaru, and was surprised to see how distraught he looked. Then again, he always felt things with a passion, always wore his heart on his sleeve and felt emotions ten times stronger than Byakuya thought he should. He was weird like that, and it was something Byakuya could never understand.
He gave an aggravated sigh, and shoved his phone back into his pocket. “One more date,” Byakuya stated. “One more date, and if something as ridiculous as this happens again, then I’m calling it off.”
Ishimaru took a few seconds to process it, and then gave a great smile. A smile that Byakuya detested, because it made Byakuya feel things and goddammit he hated it. “Thank you so much, Byakuya!” Ishimaru yelled. “I promise you that I won’t let you down again!”
Byakuya rolled his eyes. “I don’t think you could ever let me down, Kiyotaka. Just make sure that your friends aren’t there to crash it again.”
“Of course! That will not happen again, you have my word!” Byakuya gave a small scoff at that, but let a small smile form. Dates were supposed to be like business meetings, and any sort of business meeting that ended like this, Byakuya would never hold business with the partner again. That was just simple logic–if it ended badly, don’t go back.
But then again, no one was quite like Kiyotaka Ishimaru.
His driver pulled up a few moments later–which was good, because any longer, Byakuya would have choice words with them. But they still arrived, coming out into the rain to open the passenger door for him. Before he climbed in though, he paused.
“Would you like a ride?” he offered politely, because he was nothing if not polite.
Ishimaru shook his head. “Thank you for the offer, but I’ll have to decline. I still have to handle Leon and the others here.”
“Right. Of course. Have a nice day, Ishimaru.”
“See you in class, Byakuya!”
Byakuya climbed in, and waited for the driver to get back in and drive. It started off slow, as he watched Ishimaru head back inside, more than likely to scold those idiotic friends of his, and then picked up speed as the world and rain blurred around him.
“Back to the academy?” the driver asked.
“Of course,” he answered, eyes glued to the window. The sound of rain pattering against the roof of the car filled the small space, as the driver stayed in silence. He considered telling his driver that he would need to be picked up from the academy again the next weekend, but ultimately decided that a call that day would suffice.
Another date with Ishimaru. Surprisingly, Byakuya found himself looking forward to it.

Togaishi (Byakuya x Taka)?
hMM i'm trying to remember what interactions they had in dr1 but i think it was mostly strife wasnt it?? it's two uptight dudes
they share a lot more in common with each other than i would've thought of initially. they're both very stubbornly rooted in their own worldview and refuse to budge.
