I hope you have a day full of love and sunshine - you deserve nothing less! Thank you for always caring about others and spreading joy - even when it's not the easiest thing to do. Thank you for always, always being there for me, and for simply being you. It was a very, very good day when you entered this world, ma'am. We're all better for it!

In some ways, it was a typical Boston morning. The Paramount Diner was bustling with city-dwellers grabbing sustenance before heading to work. The clattering of dishes, morning news blaring from the TV, and a mixture of North End and Brahmin accents shouting orders to Joey, who manned the grill, was not out of the ordinary. The unusual thing was our chatty little crew could actually hear it.
It had become a Wednesday morning tradition. Ethan and Bryce headed there right after the gym; Merida and Olivia stopped by before work, and Casey and Tobias arrived just after... well... you know. Olivia had dubbed them the “breakfast besties,” and Ethan did his best to prevent rolling his eyes every time he heard it. On a typical morning, there would be at least three different conversations taking place, each trying to yell over the other, and anything happening outside of their table would be a misty blur.
But today, you could hear a pin drop. It could be attributed to a late case that left Tobias, Casey, Ethan, and Merida with very little sleep. Or it might have to do with the flight they had to catch in three hours. Perhaps Bryce had a case of nerves over the surgery he had been called to assist on at U Mass Memorial. The rare procedure was being streamed live to nearly every major hospital and medical school in America. No pressure there. The only one who appeared to have a normal day ahead was Olivia, and that was the problem.
Bryce scowled in an utterly oblivious Ethan's direction. But the curmudgeonly doctor couldn’t ignore the handsome, young surgeon when he blurted out, “I can’t believe you had to make this presentation today... of all days!”
Merida looped their arm with Ethan’s and leaned in close.
“Hey, you know I’m the last one who would typically rush to his defense, but I don’t think Ethan had anything to do with scheduling the AMA symposium.”
“And while I’m the next to last person to rush to his defense,” Tobias jumped in. “I can confirm he wasn't on their selection committee, either. So he wasn’t the one that invited us to present.”
Ethan reached for his coffee with a shake of his head. “Thank you both... I think.”
Across the table, Olivia was growing increasingly uncomfortable. “Guys, it’s OK. We’ve been over this before... I don’t mind.”
“Well, I mind,” Bryce frowned, and Ethan couldn't hold back anymore.
“Lahela, for what it’s worth, I’m not responsible for you being asked to assist on a pulmonary autograft at U Mass either.”
“I know,” Bryce unreasonably tried to reason. “But if you didn’t have the symposium today, I wouldn’t have to worry about Olivia being alone at Edenbrook on her birthday!”
“Bryce,” Olivia comforted. “It’s all right. I’m a big girl, and we’re all celebrating this weekend. It’s OK.”
And it was. She was an adult, after all, not only an adult but a doctor, just like the others. It would be silly to think that their busy worlds would stop just because it was her birthday. But if she was completely honest, she was a little sad that she wouldn’t see any of their faces in Edenbrook today.
“It’s all right,” Casey said, tapping Olivia’s knee. “We are going to spoil the heck out of this beauty on Saturday.”
“Damn straight we are,” Merida chimed in. “We have an epic spa day planned, with bottomless mimosas to boot! You guys are lucky if we remember to meet you for dinner after!"
“Oh, you’ll remember,” Tobias chuckled. “If you think Casey will forget meatballs at Carmelina's, you’re bugging.”
Ethan let out a sigh. "Is this where someone makes an obnoxious comment about these two and meatballs."
"Only you," Casey teased. "You really need to stop being such an adolescent, Ramsey!"
Ignoring the exasperated expression on Ethan's face, Casey turned to Olivia.
“I love that we share a favorite restaurant.”
“Of course we do,” Olivia grinned. “We have exquisite taste!” She turned to Bryce and lovingly brushed his hair away from his eyes. “Honey, as far as I’m concerned, Saturday is my birthday, and it will be great. Today... it’s just another Wednesday.”
After giving Olivia a dozen kisses, Bryce left directly for U Mass while the others headed to Edenbrook. Olivia had a busy day ahead, and her friends were checking in on patients before their flight. But Casey couldn't help but feel sad when she watched Olivia walk away.
“I know I said it doesn’t matter, but I was just trying to look at the bright side. Honestly, I hate that we won't be here for Liv’s birthday.”
“Yeah,” Merida soughed. “I feel the same way. Of all days for us to all be away.”
“In reality, we’d all be busy working anyway, but at least we could take little moments throughout the day to make her feel special, you know?”
Merida tapped their pen on the desk. That glimmer that appeared in their eyes whenever an idea struck suddenly appeared. “Come with me!" Merida said, grabbing Casey's hand. "I have an idea.”

Several hours later, Bryce was focused on his surgery as the other's plane touched down in Cleveland. Olivia grabbed her folders from the nurses’ station, surprised to find a bright pink envelope on top of the stack.
With a gentle smile, she put the note in her pocket and continued with her day. Before she knew it, she was ready to sign off for lunch when Nurse Laura handed her an envelope.
“What’s this?” Olivia asked. “I’m not waiting on any results?”
“Not sure,” Laura shrugged. “But I was given strict orders to get that to you right before you headed to lunch.”
Olivia opened the envelope to find an ecru sheet of fine stationery, a note with penmanship not typically associated with a doctor inside.
Olivia beamed as she held the note close to her heart. She was filled with warmth, and not just because she was anxious for the delicious Penne.
“Laura, you have lunch now, don’t you?”
“I do,” the nurse nodded.
“Good! Join me! Carmelina’s portions are more than enough for two, and trust me! You’ll love this!”

The day was busier than usual, so it passed by in a flash, and now, it was time to go home. She just had to make one stop at the nurse's station, to pick up the beautiful flowers Bryce had delivered. But it looked like her surprises weren’t over yet. An adorable pink box from Little Miss Cupcape sat next to her flowers, a colorful note affixed.
The nurses watched on silently as Olivia’s eyes began to tear. “Your friends really love you,” Laura smiled.
“I know,” Liv blushed. “Leave it to them to make me feel special from seven hundred miles away.”
She gathered up her belongings when Laura reminded her of just one more thing... there was no way the nurses were letting her leave before they got to sing.
I hope you enjoyed this, Dani. I know this isn't the easiest birthday for you, but I still hope you find joy in special little moments throughout the day—just like Olivia did here.

9. What crossover moment would you love to see?
The possibilities are endless. I mean Open Heart and Platinum would be pretty fucking OP. Imagine the raw power of Bryce Lahela and Raleigh Carrera in the same room. 🥵 That's basically Baking Love innit 😂.
But I'd also love to Perfect Match and Rising Tides. It would totally make for a dynamic story as Robin Tora helps them take down EROS Corp. 😎 Badass story indeed.
15. If you could be a writer for any series, which would you want to write for?
I mean obvious answer is Open Heart. I'd get in and fix the shitshow they're putting out and hope to give more importance to Bryce, Rafael and Jackie.
But I'd actually would want to write something like Save the Date, The Heist: Monaco, Ride or Die, A Courtesan of Rome or Perfect Match. They had characters you cared about and an invigorating plot to follow. It would be an honour.
31. If you could live in any choices book, which would it be?
You're asking the real tough questions, Dani. I honestly feel like I'd live wherever my LI is. I'd go to Rome to hang out with Marc Antony, head to New York where Damien, Justin Mercado and Raleigh are. Hop on to Boston where the Open Heart Gang are.
However, if I needed to work to live, I'd live in Home for the Holidays. The MC works in a publishing company and I want to read the stories she reads 😂 Plus Hot Grinch Nick Peralta 😆😉

Sienna x Raf: I ship it they're adorable as fuck.
Sienna x Bryce: The charisma they both have and two fluffy balls of sunshine. 😍
Sienna x Tobias: WAIT BEFORE YOU GO HEAR ME OUT. I could see these two as a couple. 😂 Tobias is charming and flirty and he makes Sienna's heart flutter every single time. They would have a sing dance about right and wrong and I feel it's a way better Attending x Resident relationship than Ethan and MC 😂 I ship Tobias and Sienna and I will die on this hill.

Chiquititas: Resumo Dos capítulos da novela de 30/11/2020 a 04/12/2020,
capítulo 106, segunda-feira, 30 de novembro
No orfanato, as crianças conversam sobre o sumiço dos pertences do lugar. No mesmo momento, Cris percebe que seu celular também sumiu. Os órfãos acham todas as coisas na casa da Pipoca e brigam com a mascote. Na diretoria, Cintia e Carmen conversam sobre a reforma no local. A megera diz para a moça que viu o mapa da casa e percebeu que em alguns cômodos a diretora havia marcado um X, a moça desconversa. No mesmo momento, Ana e Tati entram na sala e avisam que Pipoca estava roubando várias coisas e que inclusive deve ser a culpada pelo sumiço da carteira de Carmen. Na mansão, Junior conversa com Duda e o mauricinho confessa que teve essa atitude por gostar de Mili e querer afastá-la de Mosca. Carmen chega à mansão e avisa aos dois que as crianças culparam Pipoca pelo roubo da carteira. No orfanato, Mosca conta a todos sobre tudo o que passou no reformatório. O pequenino diz que Paçoca e seus amigos estavam lá e o ameaçaram o tempo todo. Ernestina chega ao quarto e coloca todos para dormir. A zeladora avisa que um casal irá visita-los. No quarto das meninas, as chiquititas pensam em uma forma de pedir desculpas para Ernestina. No mesmo momento, a zeladora entra no local e expulsa Pipoca do quarto. Tati e Ana ficam zangadas com a atitude da funcionária. No Café Boutique, Érica sugere que os funcionários façam um happy hour. Clarita não aceita e diz que ela e Beto já têm um compromisso. Érica convida Tobias, mas o barista diz que precisa continuar na loja trabalhando. A moça oferece ajuda, mas Tobias diz não precisar. Na sala de Armando, Cintia conta para o rapaz que Ernestina escutou a conversa sobre o tesouro. A diretora demonstra preocupação e Armando aconselha a moça mandar a funcionária embora. Cintia se prepara para ir embora e o rapaz a surpreende com um beijo. No mesmo momento, Tobias entra na sala e presencia a cena. Desesperada, a moça fala para Armando ir atrás do barista e resolver a situação. Armando ameaça Tobias e diz a ele que sabe que Tomás Ferraz é um personagem que ele faz. Tobias descobre que Armando chantageou Maria Cecília por saber de toda a verdade do suposto cantor português. Armando manda o barista guardar segredo sobre o que viu e ele nunca contará a verdade de Tomás Ferraz. No orfanato, as crianças esperam o casal que irá visitá-los. Verônica (Marlei Cevada) e Edgar (Giovani Braz) chegam ao local e as crianças notam o bom humor dos dois. Cintia leva o casal para a sua sala e a diretora perde a paciência com as brincadeiras dos dois. O casal diz que quer adotar uma criança com um ótimo senso de humor. Ana, Bia e Cris escutam a conversa atrás da porta. Bia percebe o perfil das crianças que Verônica e Edgar querem adotar e conta para todos. Em sua casa, Maria Cecília faz as contas e percebe que não conseguirá pagar todas as dívidas do mês. Eduarda culpa a filha por não ter conseguido um emprego e as duas começam a discutir. Ao se ver sozinha, a socialite resolve ligar para Tomás Ferraz, que na verdade é Tobias. A ex-modelo fala ao suposto cantor português que a situação financeira dela e da filha não está bem. Eduarda pede para o rapaz indicar Maria Cecília para algum trabalho. Ao desligar o telefone, Tobias pensa que pode ser uma forma de deixar a moça feliz.
capítulo 107, terça-feira, 1º de dezembro,
Tobias vai à sala de Armando e pede para falar com o rapaz. O barista propõe a Armando que ele devolva o cargo para Maria Cecília e pare de chantageá-la, só assim não contará sobre o que viu em sua sala para José Ricardo. Armando relembra que sabe da farsa de Tomás Ferraz, mas o barista diz que não se importa de que todos saibam do cantor português. Tobias dá o prazo de um dia para o rapaz lhe dar uma resposta. No orfanato, todos almoçam na companhia de Verônica e Edgar. O casal não para de contar piadas e diverte as crianças. Mosca, Rafa, Binho e Pata prometem não rir das histórias para que o casal não tenha interesse de adotá-los. As outras crianças tentam impressioná-los. Carol e Junior vão ao juizado levar todos os documentos para a adoção de Dani. Dr. Maia (Jaime Leibovitch) avisa aos dois que Carolina não poderá adotar a criança, pois o relatório da assistente social afirma que a moça não tem condições de cuidar de Dani. Desesperada, Carol tenta convencer o juiz, mas Dr. Maia diz que a decisão já foi tomada. O homem avisa que nos próximos dias a assistente social irá buscar Dani. Desesperada, Carol pede ajuda para Junior e o rapaz a acalma. No orfanato, Veronica e Edgar preparam um show de humor especial para os órfãos. Enquanto Dani dorme, Beto e Clarita lavam a louça do almoço. A garota fala que sua mãe quer conhecê-lo e que estava pensando em sair da casa de seus pais para morar com ele e Carol, assim ajudaria a pagar o aluguel. Irritado, Beto diz que eles apenas namoram e que para morarem juntos é avançar demais na relação. Carol chega e avisa aos dois que não poderá adotar Dani.
No orfanato, Verônica e Edgar avisam que irão adotar duas crianças. Armando vai à casa de Eduarda e pede para falar com Maria Cecília. O rapaz pede para que a moça volte a trabalhar no Café Boutique e diz que não está aguentando trabalhar sozinho. A moça diz que não voltará, pois não quer ser chantageada e Armando promete não fazer mais isso. Verônica e Edgar avisam que gostariam de adotar Binho e Bia. O garoto não aceita e diz que não quer ser adotado. O casal, para convencê-lo, pede para que os dois passem um final de semana com eles e o menino aceita. Cintia diz que quando eles voltarem poderá decidir se quer ou não ser adotado. Na mansão, Junior pede ajuda ao pai para contratar um bom advogado. Enquanto Carmen discute com o sobrinho, Gabi pega o copo de suco sozinha e surpreende a todos. Valentina e Junior ficam felizes com a recuperação da moça. Na cozinha, Chico tenta se aproximar de Ernestina novamente, mas a zeladora ainda não o perdoou por ele ter duvidado dela. Os dois começam a discutir e Cintia chega ao local. Os dois pedem desculpas para a diretora e Ernestina sai da cozinha. A diretora questiona o cozinheiro e ele conta a ela tudo o que aconteceu e diz que precisa reconquistar a mulher. Cintia fala a Chico que pode conversar com a funcionária para tentar resolver a situação. No pátio, a diretora vai ao encontro da zeladora e a vê chorando. Cintia mente para a Ernestina e diz que o cozinheiro lhe disse que está pensando em sair do orfanato, pois não aguenta mais viver ao lado dela. Ernestina fica chateada. No dia seguinte, a assistente social chega à casa de Carol. A moça observa a mulher pela janela e finge que ela não está. Carol pede para Dani arrumar uma mochila com algumas roupas e a menina a obedece. No orfanato, Bia e Binho arrumam a mala para passarem o final de semana com Verônica e Edgar.
capítulo 108, quarta-feira, 2 de dezembro,
No orfanato, Bia e Binho se preparam para passar o final de semana com Verônica (Marlei Cevada) e Edgar (Giovani Braz). Carol resolve fugir com Dani para pensar sobre o que fazer com a assistente social (Maximiliana Reis). No orfanato, Ernestina vai à sala de Cintia e confessa à diretora que gosta de Chico e que resolveu fazer uma surpresa para o cozinheiro. A zeladora pede para Cintia conversar com Chico e pedir para que ele vá até o Café Boutique para encontrá-la. Na cozinha, a diretora fala ao cozinheiro que Ernestina está magoada com toda a situação e que pediu para que ele nunca mais a procure. Na sala, as chiquititas sentem falta de Bia e Binho. Duda chega ao local e fala a Mosca que está feliz por ele ter voltado para o orfanato. Mili avisa o amigo que as crianças descobriram que a culpada pelo roubo da carteira foi Pipoca e o mauricinho mente ao dizer que ele é o responsável por ter convencido Carmen a tirar o pequenino do reformatório. No hotel, Carol liga para Junior e o comunica que resolveu fugir com Dani. O rapaz não concorda com a atitude da noiva e Carmen escuta a conversa dos dois. Na casa de Verônica e Edgar, Bia e Binho conhecem o lugar e adoram as coisas estranhas que o casal possui. No Café Boutique, Beto conta a Tobias que Clarita pediu a eles para morarem juntos. O entregador fica desesperado em pensar que a namorada pensa em se casar e o barista tenta aconselhar o rapaz.
Érica (Sâmia Abreu) se aproxima dos dois e convida Beto para uma festa e o entregador aceita o convite. Maria Cecília chega ao local e Tobias fica feliz ao vê-la. No hotel, Junior chega para ver Carol e Dani. O rapaz demonstra preocupação sobre a atitude da noiva em ter fugido com a menina. Carol diz ao amado que está desesperada, mas não pode deixar a assistente social levar Dani. Junior pensa a melhor forma de resolver a situação e promete ficar ao lado da noiva. No Café Boutique, Maria Cecília avisa aos funcionários que voltou a trabalhar na empresa da família Almeida Campos. Ao voltar para a sua sala, a supervisora se depara com Armando. O rapaz promete que não irá mais incomodá-la. Armando se sente humilhado e promete se vingar de Tobias. Na casa de Verônica e Edgar, Bia e Binho começam a se incomodar com as piadas exageradas do casal. No orfanato, as crianças sentem falta de Ernestina e questionam Chico. O cozinheiro diz não saber onde a moça está e afirma às crianças que a zeladora não está falando com ele. No Café Boutique, Ernestina espera por Chico, a zeladora estranha a demora do amado. Com o passar das horas, Clarita avisa Ernestina que a loja está fechando. Sem graça, a zeladora paga a conta e resolve voltar para o orfanato. José Ricardo aparece no hotel e surpreende Carolina.
No hotel, o empresário pede para conversar com a moça. José Ricardo diz a Carol que soube dos problemas sobre a adoção de Dani e quer ajudá-la. O empresário confessa que a adoção foi negada por um pedido que ele fez ao juiz Maia (Jaime Leibovitch). José Ricardo propõe a Carol que ela se separe de Junior e só assim terá a guarda de Dani. No orfanato, Ernestina volta ao local triste e encontra com Chico na cozinha. A zeladora não entende o motivo do amado não ter comparecido ao Café Boutique. Enquanto isso, o cozinheiro ao ver Ernestina arrumada, pensa que a moça já tem uma nova pessoa em sua vida e fica chateado. No hotel, Carol não acredita que o pai de seu noivo esteja a chantageando. José Ricardo deixa claro que a moça nunca será bem vinda à família Almeida Campos e Carol diz que não irá se separar do noivo. O empresário afirma que se ela contar sobre a conversa, ela não irá mais ver Dani. Com medo das ameaças do sogro, Carol resolve tirar a menina do hotel e levá-la para outro lugar. Na rodoviária, as duas se preparam para viajar. Carol liga para Beto e avisa ao irmão que levará Dani para a casa de D. Nina (Sônia Guedes), sua avó. A moça pede para o rapaz guardar segredo e não contar sobre o paradeiro das duas para Junior.

No quarto, as crianças sentem falta das broncas de Ernestina e estranham o sumiço da zeladora. Na sala, com uma mala na mão, Ernestina se despede do local e afirma para si mesma que não conseguirá viver no orfanato sendo rejeitada por Chico e sem o amor das crianças. No quarto, as chiquititas confessam a Mili que estão sentindo falta das histórias da pequenina. A órfã diz que não está inspirada e que outro dia contará uma nova história. No dia seguinte, Carol e Dani chegam à casa de D. Nina. No orfanato, as órfãs acordam e estranham que Ernestina não tenha aparecido. Na casa de Verônica e Edgar, Bia e Binho escutam uma conversa estranha do casal. Os dois aparecem na sala e comunica aos pequeninos que decidiram em não adotá-los. Aliviados, Bia e Binho confessam que não se divertiram e que não gostaram dos dois. De volta para o orfanato, os pequeninos contam tudo o que passaram na casa do casal. Na diretoria, Cintia se irrita pelos órfãos terem voltado. A diretora encontra uma carta de Ernestina em sua mesa e descobre que a zeladora foi embora do lugar. Cintia fica feliz ao terminar de ler a mensagem e rasga o papel. José Ricardo confessa a Maria Cecília que está feliz em ter a funcionária de volta à empresa.
Na loja, Érica se aproxima de Beto e lembra o rapaz da festa. O entregador fica em dúvida se realmente deve aceitar o convite. No mesmo momento, Junior questiona Beto sobre o paradeiro de Carol e o rapaz não segue os conselhos da irmã e comunica ao chefe onde sua irmã está. Na sala, Cintia comunica aos órfãos e a Chico que Ernestina foi embora do orfanato. Surpresos com a notícia, o funcionário e os órfãos questionam a diretora. Cintia mente e diz que a moça não estava feliz e que teve um proposta melhor de trabalho. Carol conta para D. Nina sobre tudo o que aconteceu e as coisas que a levaram de volta para a casa da avó. Junior cancela todas as suas reuniões para ir ao encontro de Carol. José Ricardo questiona o filho e percebe que ele está agitado. O empresário diz ao filho que tem um bom advogado que pode ajudar no caso da adoção de Dani. José Ricardo fica preocupado e pensa na possibilidade de Carol falar ao filho sobre a conversa que ele teve com a nora. Na cozinha, Chico fica triste com a notícia de Ernestina e Mosca tenta consolar o cozinheiro. Eduarda confessa a Maria Cecília que falou com Tomás Ferraz para que ela voltasse a trabalhar no Café Boutique. A moça fica surpresa com a notícia. Junior chega à casa de D. Nina e surpreende Carolina.
capítulo 110, sexta-feira, 4 de dezembro,
Na casa de D. Nina, Junior fica aliviado em encontrar Carol e a moça apresenta sua avó ao noivo. No Café Boutique, Tobias fala para Beto que com a volta de Maria Cecília ele não irá sair da empresa. O barista confessa que seu maior sonho é casar com a moça e formar uma família. Clarita escuta uma conversa entre Erica e Beto, a nova funcionária fala para a namorada do rapaz sobre o convite que ela fez ao entregador. A garota fica chateada com toda a situação. No orfanato, apesar de estarem tristes com a partida de Ernestina, as crianças aproveitam para quebrar todas as regras do local. Junior fala a Carol da importância de eles voltarem para resolver a situação, mas D. Nina pede para que eles passem a noite e o rapaz aceita. Sozinhos, Carol decide contar ao noivo sobre a conversa que teve com seu pai, mas são surpreendidos pela policia. O oficial comunica que irá levar Dani para o juizado. No mesmo momento, José Ricardo liga para Carol e, ironicamente, diz que ele foi o responsável por ter comunicado a policia. O empresário a ameaça novamente e a moça fica sem saber o que fazer. No orfanato, as crianças começam uma guerra de pipoca e bagunçam todo o lugar. No dia seguinte, Carol se preocupa e pensa uma maneira de conseguir ter Dani de volta. Junior tenta consolar a amada, ele avisa a moça que seu pai conseguiu um advogado. Revoltada, Carol diz ao rapaz que não quer a ajuda de José Ricardo e briga com Junior.
No Café Boutique, Maria Cecília chega ao trabalho e vai ao encontro de Tobias. A supervisora questiona o barista como ele conseguiu convencer Armando a chamá-la de volta. Orgulhoso, Tobias conta que enfrentou o rapaz, mas Maria Cecília não acredita nele. No orfanato, as crianças limpam a casa para ajudar Chico nas tarefas. No pátio, Bia conta para Ana que Binho ainda chupa o dedo para dormir, mas pede para a garota guardar segredo. Ana não aguenta e conta para Tati. Na diretoria, Cintia faz entrevista com novas candidatas a zeladora. Na cozinha, Chico faz uma lista de compras e pede para Pata e Vivi irem juntas ao supermercado. O cozinheiro não esconde a falta que sente de Ernestina. Cintia se irrita por ter entrevistado ótimas profissionais para o cargo, mas na verdade a diretora quer alguém que maltrate os pequeninos. Rafa entra na sala e entrega algumas correspondências a Cintia. A diretora se depara com uma carta de uma penitenciaria destinada a Ernestina e descobre que ex-zeladora tem uma irmã que será solta nos próximos dias. No supermercado, Vivi reencontra Mathias (Thiago Wittner) e fica feliz ao ver o garoto. Carol recebe em sua casa José Ricardo para uma conversa. O empresário fala à moça que terá Dani de volta, mas ela precisará se afastar de Junior. Carol deixa claro que não abrirá mão do noivo e nem da menina, a moça afirma que irá lutar contra ele para conseguir a adoção de Dani. José Ricardo afirma que isso não será possível, pois o juíz Maia está do seu lado e não mudará a decisão do juizado de menores.
No supermercado, Mathias e Vivi conversam e o garoto pede o número do celular da pequenina. No Café Boutique, Tobias questiona o atraso de Érica. A moça chega à loja com o pé machucado e pede ajuda para Beto. Érica diz que não poderá ficar andando pela loja e que precisará ficar no caixa recebendo o pagamento dos clientes e passando as entregas para Beto. A atitude da moça irrita novamente Clarita. Ao sair do supermercado, Vivi vê Mathias e mostra para Pata o garoto que conheceu. A menina fica impressionada com o carro e o motorista que o menino tem. No orfanato, a notícia que Binho ainda chupa o dedo se espalha e Duda fica sabendo da novidade. Em sua casa, Carol não sabe qual decisão tomar e Junior aparece para consolar a moça. O rapaz está se esforçando para ajudá-la a conseguir a adoção de Dani e pede a Carol para que os dois se ajudem nesta situação. No orfanato, Duda se esparrama pelo sofá e Binho tira satisfação com o pequenino. O mauricinho zomba do órfão por ele ainda chupar dedo e Binho fica constrangido. Na prisão, Cintia vai ao encontro de Matilde (Carla Fioroni), irmã de Ernestina, e se apresenta como amiga da ex-zeladora. A diretora fica espantada ao notar que a moça é irmã gêmea de Ernestina.

Casey was hunched over a pile of paperwork in the diagnostic team’s office. She was so engrossed that the world around her disappeared. That included one overly exuberant Dr. Bryce Lahella… exuberant even for him.
Life had been more than good to him in recent years, and it seemed to be at an all-time. His career was soaring. Recently named the Porter Mitchell Surgical Resident of the Year, doors he never imagined opening were now firmly within his reach. Since arriving in Boston, he found something he had always yearned for, a true, loving found family. And this weekend, he would be presiding over the wedding of two of his closest “family members.”
He thought Tobias and Casey were joking when they initially asked him but was thrilled to learn they were serious. It was an honor he didn’t take likely. Besides, with his self-assured manner, he knew he’d hit it out of the park. He’d be sentimental, funny, charming… and handsome as hell. When Casey asked him if he’d be bringing a date, he declined.
“Nope. Next to your fiance, I am going to be the man of the hour!” He winked. “I’ll be fighting potential suitors off of me… it would be unfair to deny them the opportunity!”
Casey muttered something about it being no wonder he and Tobias were such good friends before walking away. But it was two months later now, and a lot had changed. Yeah. Life had been very good to Bryce Lahela.
“Hey, Casey-cakes!” he exclaimed, approaching her, causing her to startle in his wake.
“For God’s sake, Bryce! Don’t scare me like that!”
“Sorry,” he peered over her at her laptop screen. “I forget some people get so caught up in paracoccidioidomycosis that they don’t notice when a ravishingly handsome young surgeon enters the room.”
“Seriously, Lahela. A, you would be equally enthralled with reading about the Versuis technique. And, B, as ravishingly handsome as you are, you know I only have eyes for one super hot doctor in this hospital… and it’s not you.”
“Well, thank God for that. Tobias couldn’t take this competition.”
Casey burst out laughing. “So, to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit. You have questions about Saturday?”
“Nope,” he assured. “I have the ceremony down pat. It’s going to be amazing, Casey. The best-looking bride and groom in the history of Boston, and me as officiant. This weekend's rising temperature will have nothing to do with global warming!”
“Yes, yes, I know,” she rolled her eyes. “Hence, you’re going stag and will fight everyone off at the reception.”
“Actually,” he sang. “That’s why I came to see you.”
“No, Bryce. I won’t give you a list of single guests, and I won’t tell you which ones are the hottest.”
“I’m glad to hear that because that’s not what I wanted to talk to you about.”
“Oh?”
“I was going to see if I could still bring a plus one.”
“Ooooh! Is there something you haven’t told me? You were quite excited about flying solo Saturday!”
Bryce walked to the door, looking outside before shutting it behind him and returning to Casey.
“I’ve been seeing someone,” he whispered. Based on the genuine grin that followed, Casey knew this was something big.
“Oh, have you! Tell me more!”
“I’ve kept it quiet because she’s really special, and I wanted to make sure this would work before going public.”
“Wait! So are you official!” Casey smacked his arm. “You’re official, and this is the first time I’m learning of this!”
“Ow!” Bryce yelled. “Does Tobias know how hard you hit.”
“Yes!” She smirked. “He rather likes it… if I must say so myself.”
Bryce pulled out his phone and made a note, “OK, that’s going into the ceremony now.”
“Bryce,” Casey laughed, “back to the point!”
“We’re not officially official yet, but if all goes well, we will be very soon, and I’d love to bring her to the wedding.”
Casey squealed with delight. “Of course! This is so exciting! Who is she? Do I know her?”
“You know her, but I’d like to hold off on telling you for a couple days?”
“Bryce Lahela! Don’t you trust me by now? You know I won’t tell a soul! You’re the only one who knows Tobias and I already got hitched secretly; I trusted you!”
“I’m your officiant, Casey! I had to handle the paperwork! You had no choice.”
She crossed her arms with a huff. “I would have told you anyway! Now, come on, tell me.”
“How about this? I’ll tell you… on Saturday, when I walk in with her on my arm.”
“I hate you, Bryce. I should deny you the extra invite.”
“You can’t do that because if you do, the shit I will include in your ceremony will make all your parent's hair stand on edge.”
“Fine!” Casey relented with a laugh. “But, can you tell me if I know her at least?”
“You do,” he grinned. “She works here, and that’s all I’m saying.”
“It’s not Brenda from Accounting. Is it? I can’t stand Brenda from Accounting.”
“Negative! I told you it was only one date.”
“It’s not Audrey… right? Tell me it’s not Audrey.”
“No,” he laughed. “I would know better than to bring her to your wedding.”
“I would hope you’d know better than to date her. OK, Lahela, I’ll take the surprise on Saturday, but I’m snooping! I’ll figure it out way before then.”
“Yeah,” Bryce replied while walking to the door, looking back with a quick wink. “Good luck with that.”

He wasn’t out of the office for more than five minutes before Casey was on a quest. Her first target was her own beloved fiance.
“Hello gorgeous,” he drawled, entering the office.
“Oh, thank God you’re here!”
Tobias raised a brow. “Really? Want me to lock the door? I thought we said no fooling around at work until your morning sickness passed, but if you insist….”
“Not that!” Casey giggled.
“Damn! Then what?”
“It’s Bryce. Has he seemed… different to you lately?”
“He’s been awfully happy. I figured he was looking forward to being the belle of the ball at our wedding reception. Considering he and Ethan are the only single men invited, he may honestly have a chance.”
“That’s the thing! He just asked if he could bring a date!”
“Really? Any idea who?”
“No, that’s why I’m asking you. All he would say is I know her, and she works at the hospital.”
“Got me? It’s not Audrey, is it? Tell me it’s not Audrey.”
“No,” Casey laughed, “I already cleared that.”
“Good. So I’m sure you’ll be snooping to figure it out?”
“Damn straight! In fact,” she stood from her desk, “I’m going to question Sienna right now.”

Casey found her best friend, slash, harried maid of honor, in the break room.
“Si!” She yelled.
“What? The cake is being delivered at 5:45. I took care of it! And the rehearsal dinner is under control! Even if Vivian is driving me crazy, I told her….”
“Si! Si!!” Casey grabbed her friend's hands. “Calm down. You’re more nervous about the wedding than I am!”
“I just want it to be perfect!”
“It will be. But that’s not why I’m here to see you. I know I’ve been a bit removed lately, what with the wedding,” she looked around to make sure they were alone, “and the baby. But is there any tea among our friends I’m unaware of?”
Sienna scrunched her brow, giving the question serious thought. “No. Besides, we have lunch every day, and if there is good tea, I’m spilling it.”
“I know,” Casey sighed. “Has Bryce been seeing anyone that you know of?”
“Well, it’s Bryce,” Sienna shrugged. “He’s usually seeing someone. But he hasn’t mentioned anyone lately. Unless….”
Casey’s ears perked up. “Unless what?”
“Bryce could be a Herbie.”
“A what?”
“Herbie. My cousin. He was a real ladies' man! He'd always go on dates and brag about them left and right. Then, one day, we noticed he hadn’t done so for quite a while. We wondered why, then, a month later, he introduced us to Mary. She’s now his wife. Once he was serious, he was quiet as a mouse until he was sure. Maybe Bryce is a Herbie?”
Sienna’s statement put her over the edge, and Casey discreetly questioned anyone she could that afternoon…. Without success…. Finally, she and Tobias held hands in the elevator as they left work for the day.
“I can’t believe I haven’t figured it out,” Casey sighed, “I hope pregnancy hasn’t made me lose my touch.”
“Your touch is fine,” Tobias chuckled. “You’ll just have to be patient and wait until Saturday.”
“I don’t want to! And tell me you’re not curious!”
“Of course I am, but I can live with waiting.”
The bell rang when they hit the fourth floor, and when the door opened, a beautiful redhead with a smile that could only be rivaled by one cheeky surgeon entered.
“Oh, hey, Liv,” Casey beamed.
“Casey! How are you?”
“I’m doing great. Have you officially met my fiance?”
“I can’t say I have.”
“Then let’s correct that! Olivia, this is my fiance Tobias. Tobias, this is Olivia. She’s the pediatrics resident I was telling you about.”
“Ah, Casey’s new friend!” Tobias smiled with an extended hand. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, too. And Casey may have gushed over you at least a dozen times since we met.”
“What?” Tobias gasped. “Only a dozen? See what happens when you put a ring on it?”
“I need to get to know her better first, baby,” Casey laughed. “I like her and don’t want to scare her away.”
“I appreciate that,” Liv blushed. “But I’m so happy I ran into you. I know this may seem weird, but I’m going to your wedding Saturday.”
“You are?” Casey blinked.
“Yeah! Dr. Lahela asked if I’d go with him, and of course, I said yes! I am so excited!”
Tobias and Casey exchanged a knowing look as a simirk came to Tobias’s lips.
“As are we,” he replied.
“Absolutely!” Casey enthused. “This is wonderful! We had to keep our list small, but I’m so glad you’ll be able to be there!”
The bell for the first floor rang. “Well, this is me, but I can’t wait! We’re still on for coffee tomorrow, right, Casey?”
“Wouldn’t miss it!”
The elevator doors had barely shut, and Tobias had his phone in his hand. “Where and when on the coffee?”
“6:00 at Derry’s. Why”
Tobias held up a finger after dialing.
“Bryce! How are you doing? Listen, are you free to go over some wedding stuff tomorrow? Oh, you are! Great! How about right after work, at Derry’s. Perfect! I’ll see you then!”
Casey couldn’t contain her grin when Tobias hung up and looked her way. “You’re an evil genius!”
A self-satisfied smile let her know he agreed. “You like that, huh?”
“I do,” she said, caressing his lapel. “I am honestly so turned on right now.”
“Really?” He wagged his eyebrows. “Wanna make out in the elevator?”
“We’re almost at our floor,” Casey giggled as he quickly pecked her cheek. “But we could make out in the car before we leave.”
“Deal,” he smiled as they stepped into the parking garage. “I will be forever grateful Bryce suggested getting those tinted windows.”

"Yeah!"
"And this is how we're going to thank him?"
Tobias let out a little snicker. "He'd expect nothing less!"

Chapter 10
INTRODUCTION.
DANIEL, whose name signifies "the judgment of God," was of the royal blood of the kings of Juda, and one of those that were first of all carried away into captivity. He was so renowned for his wisdom and knowledge, that it became a proverb among the Babylonians, "as wise as Daniel;" (Ezech. xxviii. 3.) and his holiness was so great from his very childhood, that at the time when he was as yet but a young man, he is joined by the Spirit of God with Noe and Job, as three persons most eminent for virtue and sanctity. Ezech. xiv. He is not commonly numbered by the Hebrews among the prophets, because he lived at court, and in high station in the world: but if we consider his many clear predictions of things to come, we shall find that no one better deserves the name and title of a prophet; which also has been given him by the Son of God himself. Mat. xxiv. Mark xiii. Luke xxi.) Ch. --- The ancient Jews ranked him among the greatest prophets. Jos. Ant. x. 12. and 1 Mac. ii. 59. Those who came after Christ began to make frivolous exceptions, because he so clearly pointed out the coming of our Saviour, (Theod.) that Porphyrius has no other method of evading this authority except by saying, that the book was written under Epiphanes after the event of many of the predictions. S. Jer. --- But this assertion is contrary to all antiquity. Some parts have indeed been questioned, which are found only in Greek. They must, however, have sometime existed in Heb. or Chal. else how should we have the version of Theodotion, which the Church has substituted instead of the Sept. as that copy was become very incorrect, and is now lost? C. --- Some hopes of its recovery are nevertheless entertained; and its publication, at Rome, has been announced. Kennicott. --- In a title, it seems to make the Daniel visited by Habacuc, a priest; but it is abandoned. C. --- This version of course proves that the original was formerly known; and the loss of it, at present, is no more decisive against the authenticity of these pieces, that that of S. Matthew's Heb. original, and of the Chaldee of Judith, &c. will evince that their works are spurious. H. ---Extracts of (C.) Aquila and Sym. seen by S. Jerom, (W.) are also given in the Hexapla. Origen has answered the objections of Africanus, respecting the history of Susanna; and his arguments are equally cogent, when applied to the other contested works. The Jews and Christians were formerly both divided in their sentiments about these pieces. C. See S. Jer. in Jer. xxix. 12. and xxxii. 44. --- But now as the Church (the pillar of truth) has spoken, all farther controversy ought to cease; (H.) and we should follow the precept, Remove not the landmarks which thy fathers have placed. Deut. xix. 14. See N. Alex. t. ii. S. Jerom, who sometimes calls these pieces "fables," explains himself, by observing, that he had delivered "not his own sentiments," but those of the Jews: quid illi contra nos dicere soleant. C. --- If he really denied their authority, his opinion ought not to outweigh that of so many other (H.) Fathers and Councils who receive them. They admit all the parts, as the Council of Trent expressly requires us to do. See S. Cyp. &c. also the observations prefixed to Tobias, (W.) and p. 597. H. --- Paine remarks that Daniel and Ezechiel only pretended to have visions, and carried on an enigmatical correspondence relative to the recovery of their country. But this deserves no refutation. By allowing that their works are genuine, he cuts up the very root of his performance. Watson. --- Daniel, according to Sir Is. Newton, resembles the Apoc. (as both bring us to the end of the Roman empire) and is "the most distinct in order of time, and easiest to be understood; and therefore, in those things that relate to the last times, he must be made a key to the rest." Bp. Newton. --- Yet there are many difficulties which require a knowledge of history; (S. Jer. W.) and we must reflect on the words of Christ, He that readeth, let him understand. Mat. xxiv. 15. Daniel (H.) is supposed to have died at court, (C.) aged 110, having written many things of Christ. W. --- His name is not prefixed to his book, yet as Prideaux observes, he sufficiently shews himself in the sequel to be the author. H.

Daniel having humbled himself by fasting and penance seeth a vision, with which he is much terrified; but he is comforted by an angel.
[1] In the third year of Cyrus king of the Persians, a word was revealed to Daniel surnamed Baltassar, and a true word, and great strength: and he understood the word: for there is need of understanding in a vision.

Commentary:
Ver. 1. Third. This concurs with the first of Darius. Cyrus then reigned in Persia, and the king is here often mentioned, as the vision happened near it, on the banks of the Tigris. Only twenty-one days had elapsed since the former. --- Strength. Heb. "warfare," or determinate time. Job vii. 1. This shall surely take place, but not soon. C. --- For. Prot. "and had understanding," &c. H. --- He was informed of the meaning, or strove to know what the preceding vision denoted. C. --- Pharao and Baltassar were not prophets, as they did not comprehend what they saw. For understanding is requisite, in order that a vision may be prophetical. S. Tho. ii. 2. q. 175 a. 2. W.
Ver. 2. Weeks. Marsham says twenty-one years. But it means only so many days. He began to mourn on the third of Nisan, and continued fasting (v. 4) it seems even on the sabbaths, and on the feast of Passover, till the 24th. C. --- He was grieved that the people did not make use of the leave granted by Cyrus; (Theod.) or because the Samaritans had prevailed at court to have the temple forbidden; (Usher, A. 3470, and 1 Esd. i. 14.) or rather because he could not fully understand the former visions. C. ix. 30. and xii. 9. &c. C.
Ver. 5. Linen. Heb. baddim. --- Finest. Heb. uphaz, (H.) from Phasis or Ophir.
Ver. 6. Chrysolite. Heb. "Tharsis." This precious stone was perhaps greenish.
Ver. 10. Hand; the Holy Ghost, or rather the angel Gabriel.
Ver. 11. Desires most amiable. C. --- This new title is given to comfort the prophet. W.
Ver. 13. The prince, &c. That is, the angel guardian of Persia: who, according to his office, seeking the spiritual good of the Persians, was desirous that many of the Jews should remain among them. Ch. --- S. Jerom, &c. explain it of the angel guardian. W. --- Each country has an archangel over it, as individuals have an angel. Others assert that this was an evil angel; for how could a good one oppose so long the will of God? Yet this argument may be retorted, as evil spirits themselves must comply. It seems, therefore, that Cyrus was exhorted by the good angels to invade the Chaldeans, and thus to liberate God's people. He was afraid of the hazardous attempt, and free-will may resist the inspirations of God. --- One, or "prince." C. --- Michael, and the guardian of Daniel, joined their prayers for the liberation of the Jews. v. 20. W.

Hi Elsa! I’m so sorry, this got way out of hand, but I loved this question so much because it let me go in depth into Jill’s and Kat’s characters 💕
Jill would stay and she wouldn’t even hesitate about it, and that’s because for the longest of time, she never even saw herself having that kind of relationship with anyone, so marriage and children are not something relevant in her life. Jill never wanted to fall in love (because she saw her siblings get absolutely wrecked and heartbroken, and she decided that was not for her), and so she never even wanted to be in a committed relationship, she mostly stuck with casual dating and friends-with-benefits, but never ever any commitment of any sorts. That changed with Ethan, and she fell in love with him, hard, without even realizing it at first until it was too late. Ethan was the first man Jill ever truly wanted to be with. So, marriage and children are not really a dealbreaker for her, because she never gave it that much thought, and the concept of it still seems foreign to her, so if Ethan told her he doesn’t want that, it wouldn’t be a big deal for her, she’d accept it too easily.
Adding Kat’s side, since I HC that she ends up with Tobias, and I love how she’s a complicated character, so I’m including her too. She would be the total opposite of Jill. If Tobias told her that marriage and children would never be an option, she would straight up leave, no looking back. Her main issues stem from the fact that she was left at the altar; it was definitely a turning point for her, not only because of the heartbreak, but also because she was absolutely humiliated. After that, Kat stopped believing in the concept of love, but still sought formal, committed relationships, now more out of convenience than anything else. If early on in their relationship Tobias told her that marriage and children were off the table, she would leave, not because she particularly wants to get married (because, hello, that has to cause a brutal PTSD), but mainly because of the expectations she feels she has to fulfill. As the oldest daughter, and the oldest daughter of a socially prominent family, Kat has always struggled to keep up appearances, struggled to be the perfect Valentine she’s always appeared to be, and she knows marriage and children is exactly what is expected of her, and she wouldn’t let another man, Tobias or otherwise, take that from her and “humiliate” her like that again. I HC that she eventually falls in love with Tobias and realizes that’s what’s most important, but If he happened to tell her that early on in their relationship, before she realizes the true extent of her feelings for him, she would leave and never look back.

“There is nothing more powerful in the world than a good story.”
These are the words of Tyrion Lannister toward the end of Game of Thrones’ series finale. Meaning that they are the words of showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Meaning that the pair’s 80-minute send-off to Westeros on Sunday night was not just an accidental explosion of indulgent self-defensiveness, but a conscious and true effort in expounding its own genius to an audience that has every right to now feel corrupted and betrayed.
For (most) of its previous seven seasons, Game of Thrones was a creation that appealed equally to the head and the gut. Its blend of ultra-detailed mythology, emotionally complex characters, classic themes, expensive set-pieces, frequent nudity, and buckets of gore swirled together to create the smart person’s trash, and the trashy person’s jewel. In 1996, novelist George R.R. Martin created a fantasy for those who supposedly hate fantasy, but in 2011, Benioff, Weiss and whoever cuts those massive cheques at HBO turned that creation into an uber-fantasy. Here was something so overwhelmingly compelling in its material and slick in its execution(s) that the announcement of its end has forced the culture to question whether or not culture itself will ever be so easily united under one single act of creativity.
And then GoT’s eighth season unfurled, and the first word I could ever muster every Sunday night was: ugh. As in, ugh, how did Benioff and Weiss (and, we can only assume, Martin) find and then magnify every flaw in what has otherwise been a fantastic production? As in, ugh, how are we to accept that characters who we knew to be layered suddenly turn into parodies of themselves?? As in, ugh, how did HBO hear Benioff and Weiss’s plan for the final stretch and not decide, hmm, maybe you guys need a half-dozen more episodes to actually accomplish that without it seeming stupidly rushed??? As in, ugh, can no one on GoT figure out how to properly light a damn battle scene????
At least Benioff and Weiss seem all-too-aware that these questions might be asked as audiences were exposed to this last stretch. After all, “The Iron Throne,” the sixth and final episode of the series’ eighth and final season, is consumed with responding to any and all of the potential criticisms of the material that came before it, especially last week’s horrendous “The Bells.”And their answer, by the way? Well, it is just as Tyrion puts it above: We’re great storytellers, so shut up.
I’m getting ahead of myself, though. Let’s start with talking about what went right in “The Iron Throne.” First, there was that fairly cool, if obvious, shot of Dany walking in front of Drogon’s wings. Then there was the interesting decision to abandon any score for the episode’s first 10 minutes, to underline the hollowed-out nothingness that has become King’s Landing. And then … okay, that’s all I’ve got, because right now, all I can think about was everything that went wrong. This might take a while.
Or not, because if Benioff and Weiss decided to abandon so much of their own thought and consideration into this season’s narrative, character, themes and aesthetics, then why should I devote any of my own to their supremely thin effort at defending their own creative powers in this, their final (and, as they would surely say, finest) hour? So, here’s more of a rapid-fire rant of all the many things that sank GoT’s finale:
Dany swaps her wardrobe for something Sith-esque, because if you’re going to have a beloved character suddenly turn into a genocidal monster, it’s best to have her start wearing black immediately.
Drogon must really hate chairs. Oh, and Tyrion really loves rearranging chairs. This episode was very obsessed with chairs. (Wait: Does Drogon think the chair killed his mother? Or is he just heavily into obvious metaphors? Maybe this is something that will be clarified in the inevitable GoT spinoff, Warg This Way with Bran the Broken.)
Bran? Really, Bran?? I’ll come back to this in a moment.
It’s wonderful how the various lords and ladies of Westeros can seemingly teleport into King’s Landing at the drop of a hat to decide the fate of their kingdom. Also wonderful is the chin-scratching/Googling that everyone must have been doing during this scene to remember who Tobias Menzies used to play on this show (answer: Edmure Tully).
“Bran the Broken”? Okay, really, I’ll come back to this again.
How much of Benioff and Weiss’s script was just "Character X walks away portentously”?
I wish we could all pull a Brienne and go into the history books to write a better ending.
When Samwell hands Tyrion a copy of A Song of Ice and Fire, I swear we were all one Sigur Rós cover of All Along the Watchtower away from GoTpulling a Battlestar Galactica. (If that sentence makes no sense, I’m sorry. And if it does: I’m even more sorry.)
I just know that there is a half-decent Donald Trump joke to be made about Jon’s fate at the Wall, but there is no way I’m going to attempt such a thing at this late hour.
It was nice that Jon got to see his direwolf Ghost again, and I’m all for any Tormund appearance, but are we to believe that the man was brought back from the dead by the Lord of Light … just to kill a woman he himself helped put in power? That is not just me quibbling with the “logic” of magic, either. It is a simple question of the strength of Benioff and Weiss’s (and, again, Martin’s) narrative foresight.
Okay, back to the Bran thing: Tyrion essentially puts GoT’s favourite creepy weirdo on the throne because “he has the best story.” It is a pretty good story, no doubt. But has no one on this show been paying attention to Arya’s arc? You know, the one in which she started off as a little kid who watched her father die and ended up becoming a face-changing assassin who defeats the greatest evil in this world’s history? Bran can fly, but Arya can slay.
I guess we’re never going to know why the Night King was so obsessed with arranging his victims’ corpses in that circular pattern, hmm? Okay, no problem! I was just wondering if that was a deliberate storytelling decision or another one of those “it-simply-looked-cool” ideas.
I could go on, but it’s late and you likely have 17 other GoT-related tabs open on your browsers (because not only does “The Iron Throne” mark the end of HBO’s cash cow, it spells the end of such guaranteed traffic drivers as this very review; publishers around the world are drowning their sorrows in Dornish wine this very moment). And besides, what more could be said of an episode that name-checks its own storytelling brilliance? Well, perhaps on this note Tyrion puts it best again – and, again, highlights in bright yellow the smarmy satisfaction that has characterized so much of Benioff and Weiss’s work this season: “It’s a good compromise,” the once-and-future hand of the Seven Kingdoms says, “if no one is happy.”
Fair enough, my friend. Fair enough.

I ship it I ship it
My top 10 ships in order:
* only my opinions, nothing more :)
1. Jonerys (Jon x Dany)
- the best ship to ever live and they haven't even met yet. That’s how seriously powerful they are. Their aesthetic, parallels, they're two sides of the same coin, meant to be, fated to meet... They could be the strongest couple to ever live and when they finally meet it will be littt!
2. Reylo (Kylo and Rey)
- the ship that has consumed me because of how beautiful it is and can become. Polar opposites but yet so similar, and when brought together they can balance each other. Not fully dark and not fully light, that is what makes them so intriguing to me. This ship literally is an addiction.
3. Klaroline (Klaus and Caroline)
- they are dark and light, they both have those qualities which makes it so beautiful. And the romantic tension and the chase of this couple is beyond compare to me
- beauty and the beast (caroline made him human *crying face*)
4. Bellarke (Bellamy and Clarke)
- they are everything, the slow burn, and how they complement each other perfectly and how they are able to lead together with Bellamy of course kneeling before his queen from time to time is everything. The lengths that they both will go for each other is just ughh amazing. How much Bellamy cares for and is willing to do anything for Clarke and how he doesn't even need anything back in return is what truly does it for me. From hating each other to colleagues to genuine friendship to maybe something more...
5. Stydia (Stiles and Lydia)
- the classic popular girl and geeky guy trope. But it works! They have truly been one of my faves through the years. I love how they don't stay the same throughout, they both grow, especially Lydia. And how Lydia grows to care for Stiles is what does it. I love how it takes it slow from friends to something more. That red string of fate scene if you know what I mean!
6. Dramione (Draco and Hermione)
- yes I love them! One of my favorites and I never got on the bandwagon for this one. They are truly one of the couples that never was but should have been for me. It would have been a beautiful story of redemption and forgiveness. What a waste. But there are fanfics on it so I guess that will have to do.
7. BuckyNat/WintersWidow (Bucky and Natasha)
- they are fire! Fierce and broken but what is so beautiful is that they are able to understand one another because of their similar experiences. They are so beautiful to read in comics and they emit passion. I hope they'll continue this in the films, fingers crossed!
8. Captain Swan (Hook and Emma)
- dark and light once again. I live for that. One of my early favorites ships. She can fight for herself and he knows that but chooses to defend her anyways. They will always find each other. I don’t really watch the show anymore because it became too much, but I always loved this couple.
9. RebelCaptain (Jyn and Cassian)
- another Star Wars ship to consume me. Tragically beautiful they are. I wished so much for them. No kisses needed, no words needed to be spoken, all of it was communicated through their eyes and final embrace. They forged a bond/genuine care for one another and I just wish they could have continued it on but sadly... yeah...
10. Fourtris (Four/Tobias and Tris/Beatrice)
- goals because of what they stand for. They fight for each other and lean on one another. I love how tris doesn't need four's help to defend herself because she is fully capable but four knows that and wants to anyway. It's so sad cause anyone who's read it knows what happens.
Honorable mentions (cause why not):
1. Mileven (Michael and Eleven- Stranger Things)
- they cute they cute. Young love type thing.
2. Delena (Damon and Elena)
- only because I used to love them a long long and I mean long time ago like when the show first aired from season 1 to like 4 before they got together and became like all about each other and forgot about the whole damn world and the people around them. Like the world does not revolve around you two...
- Also important to note that I hated Elena but I liked the ship if that makes any sense lol.
3. MerDer (Dr. McDreamy aka Derek and Meredith)
- Love them. Will always love them. I still till this day don’t know why Shonda did what she did. Dumbest mistake she ever made. And she made a LOT.
4. Zutara (Zuko and Katara)
- Gotta add at least one animated couple in there. Favorite childhood show with my favorite couple. Love them. Should’ve been couple but nickelodeon decided to go the safe route, which there is nothing wrong with that. Still bitter though, even to this day.
5. Richonne (Rick and Michonne)
- Have you seen them? They are so fire and the development of their relationship is so amazing! From not trusting each other to genuine friends who trust each other with their lives, to lovers, like yasss!
6. Newtina (Newt Scamander and Tina)
- freaking goals! :) And they’re endgame can it get any better?!
7. Kastle (Frank Castle aka The Punisher and Karen Page)
- Need more. I need more!
8. Lincoln and Octavia (Linctavia)
- GOD I miss them
9. Jughead and Betty (Bughead)
- Slowly taking over my life like it’s not even funny. I genuinely cannot wait to see more of them and not only the development of their romance, but also their friendship!!
10. David Haller and Syd Barrett (don’t know their ship name yet, someone please help if they know)
- They are like the cutest thing in my life right now! Can’t wait for more!!
