crying screaming hitting the wall begging y'all to watch netlix's the sea beast(2022) that just came out bc!! the diversity(both in color, culture, and gender)!! the animation!! the character/world design!! the plot & overall moral lesson abt how the stories we're told shape us!! that ppl in places of power use this to maintain their influence & we have to continually question what we know bc we could be perpetuating cycles of violence!! breaking generational trauma with a hefty serving of found family!!

My head went up as soon as I heard that Gugu Mbathu Raw was on The One Show! Sounds like she's got a lot more to do than in Loki, I'm so happy because her presence was missed in Loki S2. I have got to watch her new show Lift, it sounds fun. (Also reinvigorated my desire to watch a Rafael Casal project, because he was also another amazing talent wasted. No doubt about it, I'm going to be watching shows that Sophia Di Martino's been in too!!!)
Fun fact: Gugu Mbatha-Raw was in Beauty and the Beast live action! I've had her in my mind since then because of her name
(I probably spelt most of the names wrong, too lazy to check though and that's not my point 😂)
I have a list of TV shows and movies to watch as long as both my arms...
Side note, Gugu looked fucking FABULOUS! The outfit istg. She's a queen

Hiii here with recs lol (mind they’re very much about my interests so feel free to ignore them if you don’t vibe w/ them):
-if we’re talking youtube here’s some recs: anything Dan and Phil games (recommend sim series if you want something long term), the try not to laugh from Smosh pit can be pretty funny and they have a bunch of those, Jasmine Zade/hey angel (they are 2 YouTube channels that are/were run by the same person) she does a lot of one direction videos (hey angel was literally ONLY a 1D channel until she decided to stop posting there)
-if we’re talking shows/movies: Buffy the vampire slayer (good comfort show), Merlin (also a good comfort show), if you’re into documentaries the Big Vape on Netflix was interesting, and the David Beckham series was also interesting (even as a non soccer fan). If you’re looking for some mindless tv that you can just put in the background without having to pay too much attention to I’d recommend New Girl. And if you want something that still has episodes coming out I’d recommend the next level with Gordon Ramsey (third season is still coming out on Hulu every Thursday!). If you like k-dramas, on Netflix Kings of the Land was a cute romcom.
