guys pls be careful with anyone going into your inbox and asking for donations. unless you know them personally it's almost always a scam. look at blogs and ask yourself if it seems legit. search the contents of the ask and see if theyve sent the same ask to other people completely unrelated to your sphere. scam blogs now are reblogging some posts to seem legit but only have maybe five posts maximum, all reblogs. almost all of them being unrelated save for a topic similar to the one they are asking money for. recently theres been a scam of someone asking for donations for a family member in palestine. PLEASE check before posting or donating. use critical thinking skills. its disgusting there are people using this genocide as a way to scam others out of money. lastly please look towards actual palestinian bloggers who can verify donation links. remember: if theyre in your inbox it's highly likely its a scam

PSA: the bots are getting sneaky

Hey guys just fyi, I haven’t seen anything about this, but I don’t get a follower notification when a bot follows me anymore.

My follower count will magically go up, but my activity doesn’t notify me of being followed by them. But when I click on my list of followers, there they all are.

At first I thought this was an issue with my tumblr specifically, but I still get notified when other people follow me, so I think that the bots just found a work around.

Day 2 was SO good! Mychael’s new sprite is so soft and cool, loved the nod to his new height, all of his expressions are so good, and they transition really smoothly. When I saw the chickens my heart melted, especially Sunny. The flower field scene was SO beautiful, Mychael softly smiling had my heart melted, the kalimba was so comforting! That ending was amazing! I did NOT expect that! I love MO, both days are masterpieces! I hope you have an amazing day/night you wonderful, wonderful person!

guys if someone messages you asking to boost their donation post and their blog a) only has posts from the last day or two and/or b) when you reverse search the images on the post or the paypal name it brings up other blogs with donation requests with similar copy, that’s a scam!!

Let me please remind y'all to not use Tumblr as the site to "escape from politics" . Especially right now when we're supposed to be sharing and talking about the many genocides going on. You shouldn't be "escaping from politics" you should be challenging these dire issues, there are fucking people dying. We must acknowledge this. We must fight for these people's lives even through the smallest of actions. Yes reblogging news, facts, stories, history from Palestine, Sudan or Congo (or all) is very helpful. i've long held a fascination with blaseball gamma 1 (the test circuit that was revealed on the website after it had finished running) because there's a whole lot about it that doesn't add up. if you compare the rosters in the last available gamelogs for teams to the rosters on the websites they don't match up - and i don't just mean "oh the static charges" i mean there are new players and reverbs that have happened that aren't recorded. it is a weird, messy circuit that we didn't get to see, and i care for it quite dearly.

(personally i've long held the theory that there was a third season of this circuit that we didn't get to see that led to additional weather and another round of charges. this is beside the point but i think if they ever do another IAB y'all should help me flood the question box asking about this. i want to know.)

one thing you Can see when looking at gamma 1 teams is that several of them have four pitchers. this is, obviously, not how blaseball works; teams should have five pitchers. some of them were charged, and we know some of these from feed messages. some of them are just missing.

i found some of them tonight.

i've been working on recreating the election results from gamma 1, season 1, and through that i've found three pitchers that i'm not sure people know about. i don't have their stats info, i don't have their performance records. but i found three players who were missing. those players are:

pedro greatlakes, miami dale

jamaal hardison, baltimore crabs

manuela byron, new york millennials

there are, per my best count, three teams with pitchers that are still missing from the record (firefighters, sunbeams, lift) and because of the quality of pitcher feed events i'm not sure they'll ever be found. and maybe this is actually old news and i'm out of touch. and maybe (definitely) i'm a bit of a sap. but i wanted to publish those names. because blaseball is over and gone, and this was a dead circuit in a dead world in a dead game. but there are still new things to find.
