THEY SPOON

Raphs the little spoon and Bea is the big spoon like 99% of the time.

She got built in blankets.

Very silly because soft Raph.

Bea doesn’t mind his carapace being pressed against at her. She likes tracing the shapes and shell’s textures.

But on the chance they are cuddling face to face she gives him this little stupid grin and cracks a joke or two, and mf cracks them jokes back! They are just dorks in love.

^ Also one or the other gets peppered in kisses.

^^ Or one of their heads gets butted in the others chest.

^^^ And they quietly whisper to each other.

It’s.. easy for them to get lost in their affections, their touches, the closeness, and just the (somewhat) privacy of Raphs room.

ANYWAYYYYYY- They sometimes cuddle with Chompy. Because yes that is their child /hj.

This is kinda goofy but a bit of wrestling goes on? Like the playful kind. They pin each other down by laying on each other. Then cuddle like that sometimes.

Raphael prefers cuddling in privacy, but there are times where he just wants it and he seeks it out from Bea, not entirely caring who sees.

Beatrice doesn’t mind when or where cuddling takes place. She’s a very affectionate person in general with her main love language being physical touch.

He’s tall and BIG!

Bea is 5’4 compared to his 6ft ass.

Anyway, as she can not do blanket wrap, they use actual blankets for it. She still feels very secure in the wrap. Raph enjoys being able to hold Bea.

But he’s also often holding onto her, or having her laying on top of him.

Sometimes when they can he lays between her legs on her stomach. Usually when Beas doing her own thing.

He taps on her sides or gently fiddles with her wings and wing appendages.

They cuddle about anywhere though, the couch, rooftops at night, Aprils house during sleepovers, Bea’s house in the hidden city, etc.

They giggly and I believe Raph is ticklish. So sometimes when Bea is tracing little shapes she gets a few giggles outta him.

Raph is definitely someone who doesn’t care where or when they cuddle. Bea doesn’t either, but does like her privacy though.

They’re pretty affectionate. Very goofy or very chill. Depends on the mood. Rise!Bea is pretty decent at massaging because wiring as a dancer for big mama’s battle nexus can be ruthless.

She gives Raphs massages sometimes during cuddles.

Mostly they are just wrapped up securely, dozing off.

Well, his home in the sewers is very crowded, so he sneaks to Beatrice’s family apartment.

Bea has a pretty big bed, a bunk bed! Top half is blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals. Bottom half her bed she sometimes sleeps on, preferring to hang commonly. But bottom bunk is reserved for guests and cuddles with Raph.

I believe they’d cuddle in positions where they face each other. They get to look at each other and stuff. (Touch starved, doesn’t really know non-famila related affection.)

It’s awkward when they first started doing it, but they settled into a routine where Bea blanketed them, with extra non wing blankets provided.

Bea falls asleep easily. And quick. Unless they’re doing something while cuddling.

It’s very soft, Raph traces things into Bea and plays with her hair.

Beas the ticklish one and very giggly.

Very tired whispers between the two.

They talk about life and the past, as well as the future. They just talk.

It’s very relaxing and refreshing, especially after along school day.

Bea can say nothing to his brothers (or anyone besides her friends.. she thinks her parents don’t notice but they do. Leaves em be though.

They fall asleep and wake up to Bea’s parents snapping photos.. and a few missed calls from his brothers and dad. Bea has done calls and texts to check too.. oops!

Whew, 2 days later and I can finally post these pictures.

And this is the first official art post for 2024! 🥳

The attempt was to make one of those "do you think we're friends in every universe" slide shows.

Really, this was more an exercise in "how close can I get to the actual style of the cartoons"

Annnnd I'm just now realizing that I forgot Bea's wings in the 03 version sooooo, ignore that...

Obviously I think Rise came out okay, as that is the style I've been learning for the past year and some change. But, I'm also really, REALLY happy with how the Mutant Mayhem version came out.

Donnie is would infact learn Kpop dances (ie: BTS, New Jeans, TWICE, Black Pink, and the dance to the song ‘Magnetic’ from ILLIT.)

Beatrice would as well.. (among other groups.)

To conclude they would make dancing videos together.

(It’s all Mutant Mayhem cause it’s the most fleshed out 💪 ..and admittingly all I think about but if you need another versions lore lmk!)

Okay so, Beatrice is a product of Baxter Stockmans experiment. He made two bats for reasons unknow, species differences perhaps? But she was still a tube baby during that whole attack on Stockmans lab and the last to get out of the tube thing.

Spent like a month with Superfly before she got lost on an excursion. Was just a chubby human like bat baby crawling around before hanging off a dumpster. A human couple discovered her and most definitely thought they were dreaming until they realized they weren’t and- somehow weren’t freaking out???

They took the little baby in and named her Beatrice. Raised Bea to be rather independent by the age of 5. To which she grew up rather alone with unrestricted access to the internet. ..Ok a few rules: No posting pictures of herself, no making friends with strangers (literally breaks this lmao), no sharing personal information, and most importantly no telling anyone your a humanoid bat.

Her parents were rarely home due to work and needing time have money to take care of Beatrice and her very special situation. Though when they were home every minute was spent with Bea :>

Her parents live her to bits.

As stated before she had unrestricted access to the internet. Watched and loved so many shows, a few being: MLP, Wild Kratts, Zoboomafoo, Ninjago, Ben 10, Bizarrebark, Good Luck Charlie, Girl Meets World, Winx Club, Victorius, Sam & Cat, iCarly, Steven Universe, 6teen, and many other titles from Disney, PBS, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon.

But what really was her favorites were Highschool setting movies and shows. Especially Highschool Musical.

Would also develop other interests like dancing, books, her collecting of soft materials especially plushies and blankets. And started growing her own Honeysuckles!

But dancing really stuck and she’d start watching videos of dance choreography. Overtime became super flexible (in reference to this post.) Began learning a bunch of dances, from artists she likes, Kpop, dance workouts, and just dance. (Also has dance dance revolution which shes very good at and inspired her socials username from.)

Eventually with her time on the internet she’d make a friend, which is- Amor!! :D They are childhood friends. And most definitely after a lot of talking would meet in person for the first time around 12-13. (A very top secret and heavily planned thing that had to be done at night.) (Had a convo about this in pms though so no ref post.)

Then one night, Beatrice runs into Wingnut. They talk and meet up a lot more. She gets offered a place among the team. Bea had to think long and hard about this. Because it meant she might lose her parents. Before she came to a decision she talked to Amor about it. That caused a fight and tension between the two before Bea came to her senses and declined. (Ref to this post.)

Other than that! Pretty much just normal stuff she does, dancing, listening to music, being home schooled, taking care of her plant and adding to her long growing collection of soft things!

Until the events of the movie and then she and Amor start attending highschool! Where she’s join the EMHS Dance Team (that is 100% made up because yeah-)

edited in tidbits: She was watching the news during the superfly attack and when it panned to Raphael she lowkey kinda went.. 🫢😳

Also kinda a sunshine incarnation, she does have some mental health problems due to practically being isolated. (I’m still working on that.. but will elaborate on what I do have. And I do mean ‘I’ as her mental health is based off of mine as is most of her character.) Okay that’s all!

Weekly Bea thoughts (so it’s not all im posting)

The song ‘Robin’ by Taylor Swift reminds me of young mm!beatrice and the fact her parents had to lie to her about why she wasn’t with other kids. Telling her it’s because she’s special but in reality it’s because they wanted to protect her from how parents and other kids would react and what might happen to her if the gov found out about her.

“You (Raph) know how to ball (wrestle), I (Bea) know Aristotle (the arts.)”

She and Raph share a math class.

Double, Triple, Quad, (Quint) dates??

Despite the fact the creator (me) like the rain, Bea hates it, because of the sensitivity of her wings (which bats wings are like really sensitive!! They have touch sensors/cells that respond to even the slightest changes in airflow.) So it’s really a sensory thing. (Same.)

She has to take really good care of her wings since they’re also fragile. it’s literally just bones (and muscles and tendons) covered in two layers of (thin) skin.

Elaborating on a thing from long ago. Loves soft things, has a massive collecting of plushies, and her family’s home is filled with blankets and pillows, etc. Covered herself especially in the colder months.

Like me is a coffee lover, but will only drink it if it’s like sickeningly sweet- -yet drinks tea w/ a single packet of sugar though. Or none.

Mmm possibly, maybe, perhaps Bea will get a dog in the future. Based on my own beloved tripod? ..Yes.

Wears very minimum jewelry, ear piercings, a necklace or a few bracelets, and maybe a ring?

Or wears no jewelry at all.

Bea is Taylor Swift coded, TTPD mostly. Was intended to be Hozier coded oops.

She relates to Taylor’s songs mentally and sees herself in her music. With Hoziers music she relates to it emotionally, its music she can dance to and live in.

Has made her own choreo though out the years from watching kpop and pop dance videos, plus dance workout videos, etc.

Contemporary is her favorite, ballet is second. But she also really likes jazz, hip hop, and others.

Bea and April get along ok, I haven’t thought about her relationship with the other characters much.. sooo

Bea and April I do think would get along. She’s a mutant and April is probably curious about mutants especially with more popping up. But they’d get along :> (<i have nothin 😞)

Her and Leo is complicated? Despite the fact he’s use to being the oldest when Bea comes around she goofs with them about being older. So he’s not use to it. But also Bea lives by her own rules which diff from theirs and so she does things that are stupid ig that freak him out (in like a leader making sure their team doesn’t do stupid shit and die kinda way.)

.. She can jump off of buildings and catch herself in a fly- which she has been doing since she was 10.

DO NOT TRY THAT AT HOME KIDS BEA IS A FICTIONAL MUTANT YOU ARE LIVING BREATHING HUMAN.

I do believe her possibly being able to fly off the table may have a small chance of being out back in the table, she’s humanoid, but still bat.

Her and Raph.. yeah if you’ve been on my blog enough you know how it’ll go :>

Anywayyy- they’d be good friends both into athletics, they have opposing attitudes but match in energy. Grumpy and sunshine dynamic.

Her and Mikey would get along great. They have similar energy and attitude. (i’m not sure what to put 😭) They be creative together, improv and dance are about telling stories sooo they’d come up with stories together, improv em :D

Her and Donnie is interesting- they hit it off because of Kpop, yeah. Their friendship would grow from both of them being Kpop fans.

Based on people comments, Donnie would attempt to learn Kpop dances, which leads me to Beatrice inviting him to dance with her team when they do them.. only to then help him perfect the dances. Then they post em.

But they will never beat the long lived childhood friendship of Bea and her best friend💪.

Giggling at chubby baby Bea as Gabriella from High School Musical and a teenager Bea as Mia from The Princess Diaries. ..A feral 7 year old Bea as Mal is perfect.

Can jump kick thing.. possibly will jump kick a robot from the trailer if she is with one of the turtles (most likely Raph.) They beat the shit outta it(?)

Bats huddle together.. she’s a very affectionate person. If it is in their boundaries she will initiate the affection but if not will wait for them to initiate or ask first. Especially if it’s people she’s really close with. She gives full wing wrap hugs to those people because she trusts them around her delicate wings. But with people she is not so close to her wing appendages close and a squish together away from said person.

She is currently taking french in school for her language. She loves France in general but her teacher is lowkey hard to be around. Only mutant taking class. Has a decent grade though. (I’m actually learning french so now Bea is‼️) Wants to go to France one day.

Introducing my TMNT OC; Beatrice!

Beatrice is 15-16ish, useing She/Her pronouns predominantly but doesn’t mind others. She’s based off of a fruit bat/flying fox! This ref can be used for all versions BUT is heavily depicted for TMNT MM (and ROTTMT.)

She’s my child fr

A ball of sunshine who is kinda a push over. A bit (a lot) of a people pleaser, but she’s trying. Smiles a lot, like 24/7 and is usually always in a good mood. A bit of a dreamer and romantic who likes all things space. Thinks the whole zodiac thing is interesting. Also a Hozier Enjoyer. Always has some kind of fruit thing on her, Fruit snacks, dried fruit, fruit juices, etc. Also enjoys training with the boys, especially with Raph. He pushes her even when she thinks she can’t do it anymore.

And yes, she’s shipped with Raphael. I love grumpy x sunshine tropes <3 In most/99% of versions their relationship features them (or maybe just Bea?) learning something from each other(?)

Some (mm) backstory!

Was previously a bat before being mutated by Baxter Stockman, being the last to be mutated. And was only a tube baby during Utrom’s raid. She got lost a bit after the escape and was later presumed dead by Superfly, only to be found by a couple who thankfully did not freak out about some chubby human like baby bat crawling around an alleyway. She really doesn’t know how they didn’t buttt she’s been living with them in secret ever since, being home schooled and is only let out at night. She has a few internet friends from around New York. (Don’t tell her parents but they know about her being a mutant and are also surprisingly chill with it? She got lucky and basically thanks whatever decided to pity her every day for it.)

What do they look like?

The boys do not have any art atm but!! I have ideas for species and a tiny wip sketch for Leo. (And now Raphs beta design!!)

Species + height and other:

Leonardo: Painted turtle, 5’6” he’s the tallest and a mix of skinny and buff.

Raphael: Alligator snapping turtle, 5” the shortest and buffest.

Michelangelo: Loggerhead sea turtle, 5’3” has not lost his ‘baby fat.’

Donatello: Soft shell turtle, 5’1” lanky but strong.

(^ I don’t like drawing traditionally but it’s all I have access to atm.)

Age Order?

Leonardo -> Raphael -> Michelangelo -> Donatello

Other Characters?

Besides the turtles, other characters will include: Splinter, Shredder, April, Casey, Tang Shen, Karai, and ofc Bea!

Each having an idea or completed backstory and role already planned.

How do they act?

Leo: Can go two ways. Commonly more chill and laid back in the safety of their sewer. Very caring towards his siblings. Takes the responsibility of being the oldest and leader seriously. Anyway mf is a chaos enabler. Goofs off and dies dumb shit at home. (Splinter is a good dad here, very supportive pf teen behavior because gods know he didn’t get that.)

Then- there’s him on a mission. When I say he takes the responsibility of being a leader and oldest seriously. I mean it. Especially after the incident. He will also bench members if they are hurt or if the mission would be to dangerous. Will go solo. (Self sacrificing little-)

Raph: A hot head. His temper stems from the incident, he’s mad at himself. And takes his anger out while training or fighting enemies. He needs a hug.

When home or alone very mellow. Likes romance :> and things to distract from the anger in him.

Mikey: A mix of 2012 and MM and Rise. Middle child /lh.

Donnie: Youngest, book smart, kinda like mm donnie but more sarcastic and monotone. Like a idgaf attitude.

(notice Leo is the only one really fleshed-)

April: She’s their big sis and an absolute badass (that’s all I got rn) Both book and street smart.

Casey: HOCKYYYYY, kinda a dumbass but also not. They’re street smart not book smart.

Karai: Stepped up to take care of Bea. I can’t say much yet. But was Tang Shen’s assistant and like a daughter to her.

Bea: Accidental experiment, Hates the turtles guts (at first.) Blames them and Splinter for Tang Shen’s death. Is sun incarnated but not like MM and 2012 pre mutation. Closer to Rise and 2012 post mutation. Angry and burning like the sun. Has a goal she’ll work to complete until she burns herself out completely. Yet eventually becomes the tired and warm sun learning to settle and live without anger being her fuel.

… Like really really hates their guts. Originally didn’t have anyone to blame but herself till she saw them. And had a place to place her anger.

Current arc is focused on backstories between the turtles and Bea. Following their mutation, meeting people, basically the getting to know and set up for future conflicts.

Emerson Corley : MHA/BNHA

An american student who has a legacy of family exchange students to U.A. They were the catalyst of a project called H.E.R.O. aka Hero Elimination and Restoration Objective. Because their quirk ‘Tarot Matter’ is—in short—a quirk that acts as multiple. And the Phantom Order wanted to try to create artificial quirks and possibly the ability for someone to have multiple quirks. Deku for example, he has multiple quirks even with a quirk being the cause of it. Back to H.E.R.O. they’d lose Em as a subject but not without a bit of their blood. Their dad died during their rescue and their mom decided it be best to start them and their sisters training immediately. And once each was old enough sending them to Ravenwood (a made up american hero school) or eventually to U.A. Emerson would get into the hero course (having an option to get into the support course due to their mothers status in the industry.) (They’re kinda a nepo baby-) Em ends up dating Shoji later on :>

Aceline is the only demi-god child of Nyx known to exist. And was born through pathogenic means with a bit of her fathers DNA. Grew up traveling between the northern and southern east coast. Before her satyr protector Auden inevitable brought them to Camp Half-Blood. They’re the second longest camper just a few months after Annabeth. Nyx visits sometimes and only at night it in dreams but has not claimed Aceline due to well the gods (even though Zeus fears Nyx, a mothers gonna worry.) They get claimed post-book 5 of pjo and had been inserted into the prophecy of seven (now eight) because why not <3. Also now Leos not a seventh wheel anymore :D. I’m not a hugeeeee caleo shipper so- Leo and Aceline 💪. Aceline and Gaea do NOT get along, mainly because of Aceline being in the prophecy that will stop her from changing the world. Ummm, oh! Aceline has some super cool powers :> Oh and they’re a legacy of apollo- um yeah don’t mind that they’re kinda crazy with all this stuff- most of my ocs are normal I promise- but uh Aceline can make little stars that can EXPLODE! There’s a couple other characters I made to go along with Aceline like Auden and another Demi-god who’s their best friend Delphina! And the hellhounds who are canonically they’re siblings- I still can’t wrap my head around that but 🤷. (They also have a pegasus called equinox and a hellhound who i’ve based off my own irl dog-)

Armani Monroe : Ninjago

Ok! Armani is the grand child of Mystake, an Oni (Warlord) and long time friend of Master Wu and Lord Garmadon(?) Was unaware of her heritage for most of her childhood before her mom and grandmother had a big fight. Where she and her brother learned of their heritage they splint, Armani wanting to learn and invest in that part while her brother chose to be with their human heritage. So she’d begin to learn and train under Sensei Garmadon as he has the she essence as her. The Oni’s Distruction. Then she lost her mentor and left to train on her own and focus almost everything into the study of Oni. Misako kept in contact atleast. But she sorta resented the Ninja so when she was called in during SoN she wasn’t the friendliest but would help the best she could. Joined them on all their adventures during SoN to MotO, being with all the ninja in SoN, being in the first realm during hunter and helping the ninja during MotO. End us joining the ninja permanently S11 onward. Ends up dating Lloyd because Llorumi 👎.

Beatrice : TMNT (MM)

I’ll talk about her MM iteration here! Was previously a bat before being mutated by Baxter Stockman, being the last to be mutated. And was only a tube baby during Utrom’s raid. She got lost a bit after the escape and was later presumed dead by Superfly, only to be found by a couple who thankfully did not freak out about some chubby human like baby bat crawling around an alleyway. She really doesn’t know how they didn’t buttt she’s been living with them in secret ever since, being home schooled and is only let out at night. She has a few internet friends from around New York. She first saw the mm!turtles when the news was covering their fight with Superfly. She was both in awe and in shock because more mutants like her. Freaking out, fangirl-ish type reaction. After the fight she spent the rest of the day convincing her parents to let her enroll in school, they said yes since people weren't gonna freak out (they made her go out a few times first to gauge reactions, she also got to meet her friends for the first time in person.) The first day of school she almost got lost, and got mistaken as wingnut twice before finding the turtles and having a whole spider-man pointing meme reaction. I imagine them being all excited about meeting another mutant who's a student. X)

The new teaser trailer got me thinking and i really gotta go and finish those drawings of the turtles in those outfits a mutual (the very awesome chip <3) gave me awhile ago and i’ve sketched or had a few ideas but never finished them 😭
