First thing I did after Spiderverse came out was make my two addams! Au faves some spider-sonas <333 so meet Sleepless (Aka 'Sleepy-Spider') and Sapphire Spider!!!!! Leo and Usagi respectively :P Hope to develop these two more soon (procrastinating on actually important things 2 do)

Time for Leon and Michael!

For context check out my original post, and you can see my breakdown on Leon and Donnie's relationship here and Leon and Raph's relationship here

So, Michael and Leon have a MUCH different relationship than Leon and the other two Hamatos, these two are actually on really good terms!

The two of them co-head the drama club's set design team, i.e. they dream up the designs for the set and work together with the director to come up with the final design, they deal with the budget (mostly Leon), talk with the construction manger (mostly Michael) and lead the rest of the crew to build the perfect set!

They actually vibe so hard together and are really good friends, they won 1st place for best set design in the district last year, and this year they're hoping to take their design to a state wide theatre competition (and this is New York, so it's a really big deal)

But they are genuinely really good friends, and their vibe is similar to that in the show

Michael isn't too pleased with his two older brothers, he's actually incredibly frustrated with them a lot of the time. He thinks that Leon is a great guy and that his brothers aren't even giving him a chance! A lot of Mikey's energy goes into convincing Raph and Donnie that they should be friends with Leon and failing repeatedly but hey who's counting???

(Donnie. Donnie's counting.)

ANYWAYS!

Since Leon doesn't have Mikey to compare himself to, like in canon, he explores his more creative side and starts drawing and painting more (this is based off a headcannon I saw once that Leo taught Mikey how to draw and then stopped doing art once Mikey started getting really good at it since he didn't want to take the spotlight away from Mikey/was jealous of his art) and that's how he gets into doing set design with Michael!

They met in art class when Michael was a freshman and have been friends ever since!

(And no, there was definitely not a falling out between Mikey and his older brothers once they found out, no way, why would you even think that?????)

but yeah, that's the gist of Leon and Michael's relationship with each other! Feel free to hit up my inbox with questions, I would love to expand on this universe even more! I'm really excited for the next part, I get to talk about Leon's backstory and his Mamá!

the teenage mutant what now? gang makes a big deal over the holiday every year, making it a point to get the most obnoxious, flowery, stupidly sappy mother's day cards they can find and fussing over their dad the whole day. which they do to be annoying, obviously, and not because they noticed years ago that he always seemed just a little bit sad when the date rolled around, and they wanted to cheer him up.
