Listening and reading this statement/reserch paper im really starting to feel like the theory that the fears have turned more into “desires” is getting more and more possible and plausible. With the “architectural hunger” line in the paper. The desire for more visual interest ig.
I’m wondering that even if these are desires not fears there are still some elements in f the fears? Cause at the moment (9:11)I’m feeling that this has a very lonely sort of vibe, which makes sense since this is Norris voicing the statement.

I do have an issue with tmagp that although I think it stems primarily form inevitably (and somewhat subconsciously) comparing tmagp to tma. Namely, the issue is that I simply don't find tmagp as... Scary. I know, I know, tmagp is kinda like a horror movie and the plot is supposed to thicken and get scary in an overarching sort of way, but I just don't think that's a great idea for a weekly show. What I mean is that the way tma was structured, each episode was both a self-contained story and a part of a "bigger picture", and it worked brilliantly. I see how tmagp is pretending to do the same, but it feels like the "rest of the story" overshadows the little self-contained bits. And I know, we all love a good mystery, but what the writing process of tmagp is missing is the fun we're supposed to have along the way, experiencing each week's nightmares as they are, without needing to pin a red string to a board of pictures and filling spreadsheets with observations. That stuff is also cool, don't get me wrong, like I said, a good mystery is always welcome, but that's very much season 2 stuff. I guess what I'm missing here is some good old "getting into the mood" and tmagp is just not giving me that.
All of that is obviously just my opinion and I (also obviously) still love tmagp and can't wait for every Thursday episode, but I guess I just had to put these thoughts out there.

Holy eye episode!
Alice is really growing on me! I liked her from the start, but I like her more and more each week. Things are Going On with her and I'm all ears.
Colin is my beloved weirdo as usual and I'm just so invested in where everything is going (Sam you are a sweetheart and I love you🥰). This team really knows how to make a mystery.
I also really like this new thing with blog posts as statements; it ads flavour in a new way and leans into the sense of dead and abandoned media in a way that you don't see used as a horror tool too often. The Internet is an ever-expanding graveyard and I love that tmagp uses that so actively.
I wish the episodes were three times as long, they're so good.
