In the movie there's this deleted scene where Lucy visits Max' place - and the e try way is a bright blue, there's a jukebox in the most brilliantly bright colours, a ferris wheel miniature that moves on its own. Everything in the rooms we're shown is brightly coloured, and very much a collection of curiosities. But then again - they are modern curiosities.
Now, upstairs, however, he tends to collect things from his past, the times he has lived through. Like a victorian study, like a bedroom with items dating as far back as the early 1600s. Upstairs is a place where visitors won't go, so that's where he'll keep the items of his past.
If you were to truly look at it, his whole house was just a collection of curiosities.

I would love to Anon <3 I hope you don't mind if I do more than just the main boys. Also is He/They pronouns ok. That way I cover both of the typical pronouns from the genders you've requested.
Micheal found him first. It had only been a few weeks since Micheal met the boys. And he still had to gain their trust. He saw the writing in a leather notebook on the bench outside Video Max.
Micheal couldn't explain it, but he was drawn to him. He wasn't doing anything particularly interesting, but the mundaneness of the whole encounter made Micheal's heartache.
Micheal wouldn't approach on the first day, he would just observe for a while. Star would be the first to notice something was up with him back at the cave.
After asking him what's wrong, he would talk about them. Now, of course, David wouldn't understand the appeal. Micheal didn't describe anything special, just a person writing. But Star would smack him on the back of the head, she thinks it's cute that Micheal has found someone he finds interesting and wants to hear more.
When walking with Star and Laddie, Micheal would point him out when he saw him again. They were writing in the notebook again, but this time with a fancy quill. Laddie thought it looked funny and wanted to know what it was. Before either pair could stop him, the boy would be bounding over to where the mystery boy sat to ask him.
"What's that?" The boy would ask, startling them. But He'd give the young boy before him a gentle smile anyways. "It's called a quill, here, would you like to hold it?" Laddie would nod wildly and sit next to him. They would teach him how to hold it and even write his name. Laddie would be sad his handwriting wasn't as good.
Micheal and Star would be quick to apologise for Laddie's intrusion. Laddie would excitedly shove the notebook in their faces, showing them what he wrote. Star would take note of the words on the other pages.
"Did you write this?" She'd ask. "It's really good." He would try to be humble about it, not used to people reading his writing. Laddie would be sad that he couldn't read the "pretty cursive" and wanted to know what it says. So they would read the boy his poem.
That night when everyone was back at the cave, Laddie wouldn't shut up about Micheal's mystery person, so the boys took interest. "And then he read me this poem, Star called it that, about a man without a head. It was crazy!" Laddie would giggle. Dwayne would go into mama bear mode and wonder what kind of heathen would think that was an appropriate story to tell a child. Marko is already head over heels. A fellow artist would be exciting to have around. David, reading Marko's thoughts thinks it's interesting that two people in his little coven already have thoughts of turning this stranger.
Paul, however, is stoned out of his mind. "Are they cute?" is his only question.
When Micheal points him out on the boardwalk the next evening, Paul's question would be answered. Similar to Laddie, the boys can't stop him from approaching. "Hey there gorgeous, what you writing?" They would snort, finding his flirting attempt funny. "A poem..." He would ease Paul in slowly. "From the perspective of this man who is being eaten alive. It's about his last moments, and what it would feel like." Paul is hooked. Won't leave his side until he finishes writing the Poem.
The boys would gather around, interested to read the story as well. They introduce themselves, per Dwayne's request to "be civil" and as the notebook gets passed around, they each read a few of their stories. Dwayne is concerned by how macabre they all seem to be, he wonders if this stranger is a serial killer, or just really disturbed. But in an odd way, he respects it, how they aren't afraid to write about the taboo, how their words bring a sort of beauty to the subject.
"You've got a talent." Marko would compliment him. He wants to draw what they wrote. Better yet, he wants to know what it would be like if they experienced it first-hand. Would the reader run, watching him kill somebody, or would they capture the moment in memory, regaling it with their pen? Marko wants to see him squirm, but not in the way he would with a victim. They're far too interesting to kill now, he just wants to know how far their morbid curiosity goes.
David is at a loss for words. He certainly understands now why Micheal picked them out. He would be kinda proud of the half-vampire, spotting someone who could be so much fun. Of course, it helps that he found the reader easy on the eyes. They were handsome, with a sort of whimsy about them. David, similar to Marko, wanted to know if the reader had a breaking point or not. Could he handle his stories in real life?
Micheal and Star would be a bit worried, feeling for what they inevitably dragged them into. Maybe if they had another half-breed, they'd give them the courage to turn. With their way with words, Star knew they would be equally good at motivational speeches and pep talks. Which is exactly what she needed. Despite the subject matter of his stories, Star didn't feel scared around him. There was a warm undertone about them.
It was Paul's idea to invite the reader up to the cave. He lured the in with promises of good inspiration for their horror stories. Of course, it was foolish of him to accept this offer. The reader wouldn't ever leave that cave the same way again. But his stories would get more personal, writing the horror from the perspective of the monster for the first time.

Pirate! Lost boys
Okay so now one asked for this buuuut I’m doing it anyways! Why? Because I’m bored and I’m at home 24 hours a day. May end up high after this but let's go!
You see their captain would be max but since no one likes max, the captain is David. The way David became captain was when he met Dwayne, you see David was helping his captain with stowaways. David and Dwayne became friends which later would end up with David killing the captain of the ship and taking over for him.
The way David and Dwayne met Paul and Marko, they stopped at a port one day to deliver some cargo (stolen goods from the Lawrence family and from finding treasures…it’s mostly stolen goods.) The blondes were looking for work while David did not want the two of them. Dwayne suggested that it may do good!
The name of the ship you may ask? I do not know because i suck at naming things. That includes ships. You know what it’s name is gonna be The wicked wench or something idk.
The way that star and laddie become a part of the crew? Well it was when David was in the port of the caribbean (sue me i dare you) and Star ran into him with Laddie. They were running from some redcoats because Star decided to steal food for her and laddie. Sadly she had to run with laddie and ran straight into our beloved captain.
Laddie took an immediate liking to the boys, why? Because the boys are pirates! Pirates i tell you in my eyes are very hot (looking at you Jack Sparrow) laddie never suspected he would ever join a pirate crew so he stuck by Dwayne’s side the whole time.
Basically Dwayne is the calm type of pirate who likes rum and ladies, along with Star. Paul is the crazy type of pirate and ready to fight alongside his family, Marko is still the same marko just like the movie. He will win a fight against redcoats. David is still madly in love with his ship and the sea. That’s until the port of Santa Carla.
Now this is where we find our favorite himbo boy, Michael Emerson. Michael had moved to Santa Carla after his father had mysteriously passed away, his mother decided to move back on her fathers estate.
When the boys arrived at the port David and Dwayne were the ones to see him because he was selling his grandfather's taxidermy. Dwayne was the first one to walk up to Michael with the way that David was looking at him.
As David and Dwayne walked off the ship they had decided to have a walk around the port before selling off the gods they have, Dwayne was impressed with all the goods that were on the port. David could care less with what was being sold on the port until a certain voice caught his attention, he looked to his left and saw the brunette holding up a taxidermy beaver. Dwayne followed where David was looking then smirked “if you don’t get him I will Williams.” As the tall brunette started walking over to the Emerson boy with a smirk on his face. Michael saw the two strangers walking over to him and did not know what to do besides stare at them, Dwayne stopped right in front of him ready to talk until the brunette spoke “If you both are looking for the pub it’s down that where.” Dwayne didn’t know what to do besides laugh. Michael was confused on why he was laughing until Dwayne explained why he came over here which caused the boy to blush for he did not think anyone would want to talk to him. David ended up walking over to both Dwayne and Michael introducing himself as Captain Williams and Dwayne as his first mate, Michael looked at the men surprised because his father used to hunt down these pirates yet as a boy pirates did always intrigued him. Michael, David and Dwayne spent the afternoon with each other talking about things and the adventures the crew had been on but when it came time for Michael to go home, David grabbed his wrist and looked at him “do you wish to stay here or do you wish to go on an adventure?” Michael was conflicted but agreed to go on the ship with the two men and their crew. Michael had said goodbye to his mother and brother and got on the ship with David and them.
I was not going to get into this because i knew i would not stop. But enjoy this!

The first time he saw you was probably on the boardwalk. Something about you - whether it was your style, the way you treated others, the bright smile on your face - drew him in. He just didn't know that it was a crush. He just knew that a) he wanted you, and that b) he definitely did not want to kill you.
So, once he began to realise that there was something about you, he wanted to get close to you. He wanted to know who you were, what you were to him, and why you - someone he didn't even know - crossed his mind so often that the boys teased him relentlessly.
Because the boys did tease him. A lot. They realised that he had a crush on you long before the thought even crossed Paul's mind. Once Marko found out your name, they just teased him every single time he went off on his own. Whispered your name in his ear when he was asleep, just to see the confused look on his face. Even going so far as to talk about you as a future meal just to drive him up the walls.
After about three weeks of him just pining after you, somehow always showing up at the same places you went, you decided that you had enough. So, you went to him and asked him what his deal was.
Let's just say that he couldn't form a single coherent sentence. He was stambling, blushing, pushing his hair back to look relaxed - or cool, you weren't sure - fumbling around with a lighter when he tried to light a cigarette. He was a mess. Blushing, chuckling - honestly, he hadn't thought that you being so close would cause this to happen. He wasn't sure he disliked the feeling, though.
He was a mess, but a hot one , you had to give him that. So, for some reason - Paul can, to this day, not explain - you talked to him. You asked why he was following you, what he wanted, and eventually, the conversation turned friendly.
Paul was thrilled to find that you wanted to talk to him and was even more thrilled to realise that you really liked the same music. That you couldn't help but smile when the subject turned to something you were passionate about. That you really were real. And in front of him, talking to him and - was he really having a conversation with you? Yeah, he had it bad.
So, that one night turned into two. Three, then four. Every single night, Paul would look for you and meet with you, and every single night when he got home, he realised he liked you more and more.
He would learn what your favourite treats were and get them for you, leaving them by your window as a surprise.
Surprising you with dinner, just so he could spend more time with you.
Once he decides to trust you and let you in on the secret, things might get a bit weird for a while, but that's mainly because he is so enthusiastic.
He'd take you out on a romantic flight. Jumping of bridges, off of cliffs, hanging out at the top of the rollercoaster - eventhought he carts are very rapidly approaching and "Paul what are we still doing here, let's get the fuck off!" - it takes a while before the right amount of thrills during the flight has been established. He does want to make sure that you have a good time, and he would definitely prefer it if you didn't turn nauseous because of his idea of a romantic date.
Speaking off, he would consider a date at a bonfire romantic, as long as the bloodstains were sort of wiped away. The bloodstains themselves weren't that bothersome per se. It was mainly the ripped of body parts that might have ruined the mood. There were some discussions about that one, and both of you decided that a bonfire date would happen before his dinner.
He would give you a heart on Valentine's. A real one. He would think that it was the most romantic thing ever.
He is, without a doubt, absolutely madly in love with you and would do anything for you - literally anything.

Alright I took a break from my college work to do this.
It's Paul who people confuse for a celebrity. Do you see how he dresses? At one point people thought he was Vince Neil and he just went along with it.
Marko has been places. When he gets the urge for something new, he'll just go. The only thing that stops him is the sun. He has definitely collected patches from different states and countries.
David, I fully believe that David has a collection of books from around the world in different languages. He keeps up with the world through these, always needing to be the smartest in the room. He has read through these, he has the time.
Dwayne speaks all the iroquoian language family, Marko speaks French and Italian, David speaks spanish and Paul is there, he'll do the white persons basic spanish where you just get uncomfortable hearing him.
Again, David wants to be the most informed in the room. Of course he knows the different types of flowers and can identify them, he won't though.
Oooh okay, I need to think. So i should my sibling them and they said Dwayne and Paul 100% and honestly from my view, I could see Paul. Dwayne I think needs a connection, Paul will have sex any change he gets but I think it's David that gets the most. Paul just surprises people because he's very out there but Michael has an allure that people just can't resist.
Sadist, Marko. He's small and scrappy and has had to fight for respect. Now that he's a vampire? He's 10x worse.
Paul surprisingly, my man deals with weed and he is actually fascinated with numbers.
David, again he likes feeling smarter. A tourist comes up to him asking where stuff is, he'll make them think it'll take forever to get there, but totally worth it.
Dwayne, mainly because someone walks up to him and is like "you're perfect" and he'll just do it, unlocking another side quest.
David and Dwayne, 100%. David reads all the books and Dwayne just picked it up one day and he's not a quitter.
David knows things okay, of course he'll win at trivia.
Best hugs? Okay so fully belief that when Dwayne hugs it makes people emotional, David doesn't do touch. Paul is touchy but certainly not hugs and Marko can hug just won't do it often but his hugs are good.
Paul, he'll fly right into them. He definitely falls from trees and acts like nothing happened.

Meeting and Dating Alan Frog Headcannons
✰ Sorry I haven’t been posting in awhile!! (Been having massive writers block) made this just in time for Valentine’s Day!<3 ✰ (requests are open!)
Alan met you through Sam.
Sam had dragged you into the comic shop because he wanted you to meet the ‘amazing, yet kinda grungy’ frog brothers! :)
Edgar didn’t really mind you, since you didn’t really talk, But Alan was staring at you like you had a extra eye. Like poor boy wouldn’t look away 😭😭
(Being the insecure teen you are) Your mind turned to the worse, and you thought he didn’t like you.
Little did you know Alan was comparing you to some of the most beautiful women he knew in his mind. (Godiva, Farrah Fawcett, Etc.)
It took about 10 visits before he actually had a conversation with you. (Definitely almost had a heart attack when you said you thought he didn’t like you)
You two got comfortable around each other pretty quickly, and in august, he asked you out. (You obviously said yes.)

David and Laddie Drabble
This is just part of my personal take on the dynamics of the boys and a bit of my headcannons about their pasts.
This is just a funky little drabble about David's role in caring for Laddie when he first joined the boys'. This does mention the boys being poly! with each other. And it gets sad at the end.
Dwayne can’t wake up in the middle of the day due to still being a relatively young vampire, and he isn’t used to having to wake up in the middle of his day sleep. David on the other hand is head vampire, leader of his pack and has always had to keep vigilant. As the oldest, he has the ability to wake during the day (and not just immediately go back to sleep). When David saves Laddie, (at Dwayne’s request) he tells Dwyane that the kid was entirely his responsibility. David of course didn’t mean it, he would take care of every member of his pack, but he wanted Dwayne to understand his responsibility. With all of that said, guess who was waking up in the middle of the day to comfort the crying child? David. David would wake to the tiny sniffles of a tear cheeked child, he would fly down from the “roost” into the boys room, scoop Laddie into his arms and sit with him. He would shush the boy's cries and comfort him from nightmares or anything that prevented the young halfling from sleep. On numerous occasions Dwayne would awaken at dusk to find his sire asleep with the boy curled up and snoring on his chest. Dwayne would never tell but he was thankful that his sire was willing to step up where he couldn’t; it’s what Dwayne admired about David, what drew him to the vampire, what made him fall for David. David’s love and loyalty to family, his family, is what made Dwayne drink from David. Becoming a part of David's family. David provided Dwayne the family he dreamed of having, and while he never intended to have a kid he’s glad David agreed to save the boy.
After the tragedy of ‘87, David became even more vigilant during the daylight hours, rarely actually sleeping at all. David blames himself for letting the allure of Michael become a distraction from protecting his boys. He will never forgive himself for what happened to his boys. He punishes himself constantly by never allowing himself to sleep. The others can tell how hard David treats himself, he’s different… stricter, more paranoid, and definitely not himself. He distanced himself from the boys, feeling undeserving of their affections after he “failed” them. Michael ruined David, took his love and destroyed it. David doesn’t love the way he did before Michael. And the boys hate it, the boys just want their David back.

Dwayne my beloved. I still laugh thinking about Billy just walking around shirtless all the time on set. It's pretty funny to my. Again talking about my mutual Lost (@/lostbxys) Dwayne is his favorite boy and I'm stealing a lot of these head cannons from him. Also Lost I know you won't do this but just in case don't try to cancel me for these lmao.
General and Relationship head cannons for Dwayne tlb
Warnings: None I can think of.
I agree he was turned in the 1700's. He was the first boy to be turned out of the four of them.
He got mad hoes. Like everyone was kinda scared of him so he picked up chicks and dudes left and right.
I can see him bonding with Paul at woodstock about being labeled something for how many partners they have had.
He isn't like the actual biological big brother to Laddie he still fills the role. He's very protective over Laddie and takes the role of being a big brother seriously.
He probably has something for his hair that he uses to keep it so nice. He's from the 1700's he knows some like plant oils or whatever to keep his hair nice and clean.
Also has only three shirts. One from Woodstock, one from the night he turned, one from when he was a kid and I think Lost mentioned a fourth one but that was awhile ago.
He's great at shoplifting he just doesn't do it often. When he does he uses Paul and or Marko as a distraction.
Listens to more "girly" music (by that I mean female artists and artists popular with women and girls) with Star sometimes. Not his favorite kind of music but it's nice to listen to with Star.
Made his jacket with the help of Marko. Probably stole it from a victim. Maybe a greaser from the 50's? I like the idea of the boys being greasers.
He scolds Paul all the time for how he treats his hair. "Paul your hair is so fried I can blow on it and it would snap in half." Forces Paul to let him wash out his hair once at week at least. Also probably steals hairspray for him.
Has a few tattoos on him here and there.
Makes sure the boys keep the swearing down around Laddie. They get very creative with their insults too. "Marko if you looked up while it was raining you'd drown." "I can't drown stupid we're vampires."
Relationship head cannons
Dwayne probably met you when he saw you helping Laddie when he got lost. He'll notice how attractive you are and probably will ask you out from there.
Will get teased by Paul and Marko and will roll his eyes about it. He'll get protective over you too and insist to David that you're not gonna be a victim.
Will tell you about the whole vampire thing before you two start dating. Won't force you to turn but he will let you know it's gonna have to happen eventually. But who doesn't wanna be a vampire with a hot vampire boyfriend.
I mentioned this before but Dwayne's main love language is quality time. He loves spending time with you doing things you both love. Playing game on the boardwalk, watching the sunset if he gets up early enough, walks on the beach, reading to you, going for rides alone, whatever he can do with you he wants to do.
Is ok with physical touch but he's gonna have to warm up to it a bit. Not really used to it all that much but he's not totally shut off to the idea. He'll hold your hand often and give soft cheek kisses around the boys. Won'r do much physical affection around Laddie however.
If you ask about it he will go over his past, leaving out some bits he wants to forget about along the way. He's been alive for over 3 centuries so he's got a lot of stories to tell. Will tell you stories about the other boys too. I like the idea of him telling you about the time Marko got bucked off a horse and the reason he got on the horse in the first place was because "I grew up on a farm. I can ride horses."
When you do turn he's going to make sure your first hunt is special. Just the two of you together and the victims. After this he'll help you get the hang of all the new vampire stuff. "Dwayne my nails keep breaking." "Don't worry about it darling they grow back quick."
That's another thing. He loves pet names. Darling, pretty boy/girl, lovely, honey, dear, handsome, beautiful, etc. Lot's of pet names.
