OLIVE + TJ in Season 4B

I think the thing that bothers me the most about the manifest writing is the romantic relationships many of them feel a bit pointless and only there to prop up the “endgame” relationships. I find the platonic relationships to be way more compelling and better thought out. Except of course Bethany and Georgia and Thomas and Leo love them🥰.

Y’all gotta understand that Luna Blaise is worth it. Love her. PERIODT

Manifest 2x08 “Carry On”

This was one of the best things to ever happen on Manifest🥰 I’d have been so sad if they had killed off TJ🥺

I can NOT wait until he comes back!!! I watched the first episode of season 4 last night, and plan on watching more *hopefully more than 1* tonight!!

everybody ended up with their loved ones, except tj and olive... she can grow up and meet again, but he seemed to move on with violet 😭 and olive was excited he reminded her name, so maybe she remembers everything.

haters are stupid, olive was 16/17 when she met tj and tj was 18 years old 'cause time didn't pass by in the flight 828, he was 18.

there was NO age gap in the original timeline.

So will TJ just wait around for Olive to be of appropriate age, a la Jacob/Renesmee?? 😯 😆

Finally finished "Manifest" and overall I'm really happy with how it ended!!! :D Very trippy series finale though and took some turns I didn't expect. Will post a few more spoilerly thoughts behind a cut but I really enjoyed watching this show and so glad Netflix saved it so it could have a proper ending.

I wasn't expecting the ending to be a like a dream they all experienced but it was actually real for those that survived, even though they came back to 2013 like nothing happened and the plane landed safely. So they have to keep it secret all these memories they had of those years. Also really cool to see they filmed some of this finale during the 1st season as they were able to use the original Cal and Olive child actors. They did hint at things happening still that happened in the other timeline, like Eden being born and Jared and Drea getting together and having their daughter Hope. I was sad to see about what happened to T.J. and Olive but at the same time it did seem to hint that eventually they could be together once she's an adult. It was always tricky with that as due to them jumping time they became the same age, but it seemed to me that years later they will be together but probably not for 10 years at least. Still weird about everything that happened with Ben and Saanvi as I thought they'd still be together, but Grace is still alive and she got back together with Alex. But is this another T.J. and Olive situation and they'll be able to be together later in life? And I'm still happy about Mick and Zeke as I preferred them together and now they can be and actually have more years. Like I said it was trippy and overall happy with the ending.

Summary: Olive decided to take TJ and her best friend Cora Lilly to the nightclub with her. TJ and Cora have been dating in secret and when TJ saves Olive, Cora runs off to stop Isaiah. She ends up in the explosion instead of TJ.

Notes: I used my oc Cora Lilly.

A/n: Sorry I didn't do it in the detention center, but this idea came to me when watching TJ edits. And it's not hurt/comfort but it is still angst.

Cora's P.O.V:

Me and Olive were waiting for TJ to get back, when the door locked from the outside. I ran over and looked through the glass of the door and seen smoke fill the hall outside. I pushed and pushed on the door bu tit wouldn't budge, while I was working on the door Olive was trying to keep people calm.

My eyes lit up when I seen TJ and Ben, Olive's dad, run up to the door. They worked together and got it open. We ushered everyone out and then ran out ourselves. As we were running Olive tripped, effectively breaking her ankle.

Ben and TJ helped her walk towards the door me trailing behind them. I heard a noise and looked behind me, seeing someone holding a knife.

"TJ!! Ben!!" I yelled getting their attention. "Behind us!!"

We ran but it was hard for them to run while helping Olive. They stopped and Ben picked her up. Him and TJ ran for the door while I stayed behind. 'If I can keep this guy from getting to them and killing them, I will.' I thought to myself.

"Cora!!" TJ yelled, running up to me.

"Go." I said, pushing him towards the door.

"Not without you." He said.

I looked behind him and Ben and Olive still haven't made it out.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"For wha-" He was cut off by me teleporting him outside. "-t..."

I looked behind me and was face to face with Isaiah. As I grabbed his wrist I fell through the ground, the nightclub above me exploding.

I layed underground covered in blood, bruises, and burns. I sobbed hearing my best friend call out my name, along with the voice of my boyfriend doing the same.

Reconnecting

"Come outside" the text said. Olive went outside and saw TJ getting out of a cab. That's how they ended up making out while limbs tangled under the sheets of Olive's bed. "I can't believe you're really here" she says. "Well believe it cause I'm never leaving you again." he says. She smiles and so does he. She leans down and kisses him again. He flips them over so that he is on top of her. He kisses down her neck. "TJ. TJ" she says. "What is something wrong?" he asks looking down into her eyes. "No it's just, my whole family lives here. Someone's gonna hear" she replies. "That's all your worried about" he smirks and resumes kissing her neck. Olive laughs and TJ smiles.

The next day Olive comes downstairs for breakfast. Everyone looks at each other. "So you all heard" she says. "No" they all lie terribly.
