that ending had me in tears: michaela and zeke together, ben and grace together, cal and olive getting their childhood together, and saanvi and alex, tj and his mom, jared and drea, angelina bursting into dust, and all the other passengers getting a second chance😭❤️

Can I just say Jeff Rake is an absolute genius.
Whether you loved the ending, hated the ending, were ambivalent about it or left feeling confused as heck - viewers and fans of this show are going to be discussing and debating what happened after the final credits rolled for a very long time to come and THAT is what makes a masterful TV show!
Bravo Jeff Rake & Co.

After being absolutely screwed over by the supernatural finale, I gotta say I really did like the Manifest finale. It wasn't perfect but it was pretty well done.
Spoilers below
I totally shipped benvi as a couple but it's also very understandable that they would not be endgame. That being said, their chemistry was off the charts and I'm so glad for ALL their scenes together in 4B.
I'm also really happy with how Michaela's story ended because yeah Zeke is the person she would choose every single time.
Yeah the TJ and Olive thing became a little weird because of the whole going back in time thing with her being a child thing but I think they handled it in a non creepy way by making him move on. At least he'll remember all the time they had together.
Saanvi, my beloved Desi bisexual icon, she's always been my favourite character and this season too she didn't disappoint. Of course, I really wish she'd gotten more screentime (she wasn't there in an ENTIRE episode), but it did feel like she was treated like the main character that she is.
I know a lot of people cringe at the mad love line but I thought it was pretty sweet.
I loved how they kept the found family theme right to the end, *cough* take notes supernatural *cough* and I loved how every single character interacted with each other this season. The hugs, the heartfelt conversations, it was so so sweet to watch.
There'll probably be some discourse about how the ending erased the entire series but I don't think that's true. Because there are some who forgot but there are still some that remember. I think all the passengers will continue to keep in touch and as for Cal and Olive, they get to have a redo without all of the death and pain clouding their lives. They get their parents back and more importantly they get their childhood back.
PS : I've also personally never understood the Grace hate. She is literally out there living her life and loving her family and getting stuff done.

I think the thing that bothers me the most about the manifest writing is the romantic relationships many of them feel a bit pointless and only there to prop up the “endgame” relationships. I find the platonic relationships to be way more compelling and better thought out. Except of course Bethany and Georgia and Thomas and Leo love them🥰.

ben and saanvi kissing is like all benvi's fans' dream.
tbh I don't why they made saanvi gay... she's 100% gay and 1000000000000% straight.
the writers should have made ben and saanvi together from the beginning.
he stayed with grace for eden to be born, but eden is an unecessary character, we got cal.

I feel like manifest should’ve had a what if episode. Like what if it was grace and olive on the plane instead of Ben cal and michaela. That’d be so interesting to see. Any ideas on what woulda happened if the roles were reversed?

ok im finally done with my binge. what in the holy fuck. i still have a million questions left dude. cal just time travelled and came back as his older self and watched his mom die??????
olive is going to be traumatised FOR LIFE AT THIS RATE. that baby eden is going to be traumatised for life. this nanny carrie situation IS so fucked up. what in the hell-
here's what i do know - i need to know why this happened to flight 828 in particular, when the rest of the passengers are going to get their shit Together, why the explanation is so mythical, is this divine intervention 100%??, why have the callings been sent in the first place, i hope angelina dies in a trash fire, i hope the stone kids get *some* comfort (this way ben will too? hopefully? god that dude is going go THRU it) and zeke and saanvi better end up ok at the end of s4. (i genuinely do not care abt mick or jared or who the fuck ever at this point)

Finally finished "Manifest" and overall I'm really happy with how it ended!!! :D Very trippy series finale though and took some turns I didn't expect. Will post a few more spoilerly thoughts behind a cut but I really enjoyed watching this show and so glad Netflix saved it so it could have a proper ending.
I wasn't expecting the ending to be a like a dream they all experienced but it was actually real for those that survived, even though they came back to 2013 like nothing happened and the plane landed safely. So they have to keep it secret all these memories they had of those years. Also really cool to see they filmed some of this finale during the 1st season as they were able to use the original Cal and Olive child actors. They did hint at things happening still that happened in the other timeline, like Eden being born and Jared and Drea getting together and having their daughter Hope. I was sad to see about what happened to T.J. and Olive but at the same time it did seem to hint that eventually they could be together once she's an adult. It was always tricky with that as due to them jumping time they became the same age, but it seemed to me that years later they will be together but probably not for 10 years at least. Still weird about everything that happened with Ben and Saanvi as I thought they'd still be together, but Grace is still alive and she got back together with Alex. But is this another T.J. and Olive situation and they'll be able to be together later in life? And I'm still happy about Mick and Zeke as I preferred them together and now they can be and actually have more years. Like I said it was trippy and overall happy with the ending.
