Increasing the height of this wall provided room for the framing of a three-story window. Two layers of fixed glass were attached to fir timbers, and a custom fan unit, placed on top, was designed to match.

Older Steve unironic pitbull/mr worldwide/mr 365 enjoyer. He has sung ‘I know you want me’ to Eddie in its entirety and I KNOW he has. Hotel room service is stobin’s SONG for getting pumped. Steve singing ‘I like it’ and doing the awful autotune in the shower as loud as he possibly can, no guilt

Gas station attendant Bernard and Vigilante with an empty gas tank Tim Drake
They get slurpees together sometimes
Yes Bernard still figures out who Tim is. Yes he still doesn’t tell him he knows
Context: Basically in New Jersey they have gas station attendants that fuel your car for you. Idk why they don’t pump their own gas but 🤷🏽‍♀️ whatever it’s jersey.

“So help me, Tim, Bernard deserves,” Pie begins, and then, as Bernard opens the door, breaks off. “Um,” they continue, with a considering look to Bernard, and then to not only Robin, but several of the other familiar Gotham faces, “why are there vigilantes in the boathouse?”
“I can explain,” Bernard says, confidently, but doesn’t continue, just beaming his disarming smile at Pie, who carefully raises an eyebrow and points it at the group of teenagers, and pointedly doesn’t say anything.
“We’re, um. Planning?” Robin says, with the sort of confidence that makes Pie wince, because a vigilante should at least sound like they know what they’re doing, even if it is daytime. And they don’t want to know what the Bats are planning – nothing good ever comes of knowing what the Bats are up to – but they would at least like the kids to be sure of themselves.
“We’re planning a heist,” says the purple one, who Pie is pretty sure changed her name to Batgirl recently, except they can’t be entirely sure, because they thought the other one was Batgirl. It’s possible that they’re both Batgirl, except they work closely enough Pie thinks that would probably get real confusing real quick. Not that other people don’t share names and work together fine. (Pie wouldn’t know.) “Not a heist,” she adds, at an elbow from the other Batgirl.
“We’re collecting evidence,” Robin says, slightly more confidently than the last time he spoke, but not in a way that Pie finds particularly inspiring. Also, they’d like to know where Tim is in all this, because they definitely saw him walk into the boathouse a while ago, before they made tea, and then changed their mind and decided to give Tim a piece of it.
“They’re heisting evidence,” Bernard says, slightly conspiratorially, and Pie’s not completely sure what’s going on, but it can’t be all that bad if Bernard thinks it’s that funny. Well, the vigilantes don’t seem to like his attitude towards it, but he’s not afraid of them, or of the situation, and that’s all you can really ask for once Bats get involved.
“Do I want to know evidence of what?” Pie asks, even though they’re pretty sure they don’t. Oh, they’d help Robin if he asked, he’s the one on the Marina rounds most nights, he’s their Bat. And Bernard’s theirs, too, of course, almost as much as Tim is, and just as much given how young these idiots are, and how much of a helping hand they need, separately and together. So there’s always the impulse to help, even though, well, Pie knows they don’t want to know. But if they have to, they will.
“It’s really not a heist,” Robin rushes to reassure them, even though the heist part was the least of Pie’s worries. “It’s more of, you know, reconnaissance. We’re just. Information gathering. Collecting… well, yeah, collecting evidence. Nothing like a heist, Bernard.” Robin gives Bernard the kind of look that has Pie second guessing the whole thing with Tim, wondering whether they of all people assumed monogamy was going on when no one had ever used that word. Clearly, the two get along and trust each other, at any rate.
“It’s not a – Robin, we’re planning how to rappel down from the roof, disable the security on the windows, and then hack into the computer,” Bernard says, looking to Pie, who nods vaguely, because that sure sounds like a heist to them, also. “In what way is that not a heist? That is like textbook heist.”
“For information,” Batgirl (the one in black) says, also looking to Pie for confirmation, it’s just that Pie doesn’t even know her, and they aren’t entirely sure they agree with her anyway. “It’s not a heist if we only want information. Heists are for jewels.”
“Or art,” Robin says, thoughtfully, as they all continue listing things that one could conceivably heist, seemingly coming to the agreement that it isn’t a heist after all, since they won’t be removing any physical goods from the premises, only data. And then some long aside about piracy, and how copying data isn’t the same thing as stealing it, and then a second aside about how digital media really made it a lot harder to curate private collections of films.
So by the time they finish arguing about that – Robin and Bernard getting into their own argument about the best distribution methodology for TV shows – and the purple Batgirl turns to Pie to say, “so you see, it’s only sort of a heist, but it’s for a good cause and you don’t have to worry,” Pie doesn’t care because they’ve already figured out what’s going on.
The kids in the boathouse, where it’s dark and not many people come out here, being secretive with their silly elaborate plan, easily distracted and not staying on task? Vigilantes in the daytime? Tim being gone ‘somewhere’ and ‘will totally be back later’? Obviously these kids are here to get high, and who is Pie to stand in the way of that? That’s a normal rite of passage for teenagers, and the boathouse maybe the most obviously place to do it.
“Alright,” says Pie, eventually, as the crosstalk has devolved into five separate conversations, “well, you have my number, Bernard? Yeah. You just call if anything goes wrong, okay? I don’t care how small it is. If you get worried, you call me.” And they wait long enough for everyone to give them grudging affirmatives before they add, “you stay safe, kids.” And then leave, before they have to find out what exactly Tim came back with.
