Fall is here and I've been super busy with the new job and winterizing the house. I've been stressed so i wanted to turn to a green tea since they help to relax me and refocus.

While searching for the next tea to evaluate, I came across Tiesta Tea's Pineapple Blues green. Once the package was opened and the kitchen instantly smelled of candied fruit and malt, I had to give it a go.

Not only did this tea show great fruit and green malt, but the blend of the flowers made it special. The price point can't be beat as well per cup.

Greetings! 2020 is nearly over and considering I spent a month of it fighting off death via the rona, good riddance! Since my recovery I am currently helping care for my injured mother and as I can't participate in single-girl city life during this pandemic, i'm spending my time cooking, brewing tea, and trying to keep myself entertained in a small town in North Dakota that I never intended to live in once I left at 18.

For December I did an AdvenTea on my facebook. It went over well and I received feedback to continue with the posts, but I felt another platform would be more appropriate so this is going to be where I share the things I make and the things I find while living in the sticks. I promise i'll try to be charming in my own special way.

I don't have much to say about this one other than: OMG. Have you ever brewed a cup of tea, taken the first sip, and you're speechless? You just stand there, sipping, and making little "mmmm mm mmmm" sounds? Maybe that's just a "tea people" thing? Maybe I'm just weird? I don't know, but this tea is one of those teas. In this immune boosting tea by @tiestatea , you get a cup full of fruity, juicy, tropical bliss. Candied pineapple and mango pieces give just the right amount of sweetness and the blend of florals bring fresh and bright notes to your cup. The aroma alone is mouthwatering. I brewed a hot cup and it was delicious with no additives. But after my first sip, I knew this would make a perfect cold brew. I popped my favorite cold brew container into the fridge and I left it for a full 24 hours. Now, I like a little bit of a bitter "bite" so, those dried orange slices soaking for that long made it perfect for my taste. If you've ever cold brewed citrus or infused water with citrus, you know that it can get bitter after a while so, you can adjust the bitterness by steeping for less time or, remove the orange some time during your brewing process. I love the crisp flavor from the bitterness so...I left it the whole time. This was an amazing cold brew! It's tart, sweet, clean,...it's brisk! For some, this would be a summer tea choice, but it's ok to drink fresh and fruity tea any time of the year. I definitely do! I'm excited to test more of my teas from Tiesta Tea; I'm betting the rest are just as amazing. Stay tuned for more reviews! I did a blind testing on my mom and sister and no one could guess strawberry because PINEAPPLE is the first ingredient. WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT?

It's still good, regardless. The lemon really shines through and you get strong notes of hibiscus. We drank it hot and i'm struggling to save half a cup to try cold because WHO DRINKS HOT LEMONADE WTF.

We did. All three of us. It was still good; just like a lemony hot tea instead of lemonade. It doesn't even need sugar because it's sweet enough from the fruit bits.

I'll put the remainder outside and add an edit to see how it is cold.
