My mind is still processing yesterday's chapter, so what I'm about to write might be a total mess, but here's my take on it.
In the past few weeks, we've been treated to two Tianshan kisses. More importantly, they are finally canon in the plot. I honestly didn't think we would get this far. In all these years, it never never crossed my mind they would kiss like this (in Mo's room, stuck together like magnets), which is a thousand times better. I thought we'd have to wait for their future for them to get official. And to be honest, if they weren't kissing at all during the whole story, it was clear as day that they were meant for each other and [anything that bluntly shows they are soulmates]. They could have just confessed their feelings to each other or shown that they are officially together in their future, but instead we got more from Old Xian: a kiss.
I personally thought at first their kiss wasn't really necessary to the plot, because we all know they will kiss at some point in their lives, sooner or later. I sound really stupid but I didn't expect to see them kissing at all. However I just forgot they already kissed before and it reminds me that a kiss can play a huge role in Tianshan’s development. And these last few chapters have also proven me wrong. First, the kiss is the best gift I could never imagined because it brings me an immeasurable amount of happiness. It makes me proud to see how far they came from. It makes me smile to see a consensual and passionate kiss from my comfort ship. It makes me happy to witness their intimacy and love for each other. And of course, the kiss itself is essential for both the readers and Tianshan. It impacts the reader's view of their future and, of course, it explicitly shows they are canon. It's a strong development for Mo and Tian too (I won't elaborate more on that here because it would be too long). I'm currently cringing at myself because Tianshan is the very first couple that made me goofy and made me write an entire paragraph about a kiss.
[Don't read the crossed out words if you're still emotional].
I can add that even though we had a kiss from Tianshan, there is still so much to unpack in the story, which is really wonderful. For the plot, we still have: Zhanyi's development, the anguish of the couple's separation, their future, their parents, She Li, other characters' backgrounds, the mafia part, Qiu Ge and He Cheng and more. Old Xian really managed to build a world with great settings and interesting characters, which are very promising. And these may also take a thousand years.
To conclude my long rant, after seeing yesterday's spicy Tianshan, I am 100% sure that Old Xian has NSFW arts that will probably never see the light. I swear we will probably never see these treasures, but we can only imagine. Anyway, thanks for putting up with my nonsense, I was just confused the whole time and I still am. All of this just feels surreal to me. What a time to be alive!

19 Days and its Underutilized Relationships
Something I’d love to see more of in 19 Days is the relationships outside of the main romances. I love Tianshan, and seeing their growth has made for one of the best fictional romances I’ve ever read, but my favorite characters since the beginning have been Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng Xi, and it feels like we haven’t seen as much deep development from them in ages (they still have a ways to go before they’re a real couple). Not just that, but in my firm opinion, the platonic relationships in a series are just as important as the romantic ones.
When I first got into 19 Days, the friendship between He Tian and Jian Yi was the highlight for me, and I adored their dynamic (they’re literally “Idiots to Idiots” how can you not love them lmao). I think He Tian initially had a thing for Jian Yi, and seeing him get over the slight heartbreak at not having his feelings returned (this was when Mo entered the picture) and forming an even stronger friendship with Jian Yi in place of that was a very refreshing portrayal of one-sided love becoming totally platonic.
Then there’s Zheng Xi and Mo, who pretty much instantly got along and held an understanding of each other as “the brain cell holders”. Plus, they have so much to bond over as the exasperated morosexual boyfriend who’s dating a lovable goof (as a headcannon I feel like Mo would teach Zheng Xi how to cook for Jian Yi and his sister; it would be a really cute bonding moment for them <3).
Jian Yi and Mo are literally platonic Tianshan if He Tian was even dorkier and more extroverted; Jian Yi cares so much for Mo and fought so hard to integrate him into the friend group, and seeing Mo open up to Jian Yi and his antics has been as special to me as seeing him open up to He Tian.
Don’t even get me started on Zheng Xi and He Tian; we’ve barely seen these two have any moments together! They can both be kinda quiet, they’re very protective, intuitive and observant to the needs of others, and they tend to have the more level head around their lovers’ anxious energy. These two would be such a power duo oh my god
What made 19 Days so special to me was seeing all the different relationships portrayed in the series, and the friendships are just as enjoyable to me as the romances. There is a lot to explore with the non Tianshan/Zhanyi dynamics (some I haven’t even mentioned, like the He brothers, Quicheng, Mo and his mom, He Tian and Mo’s mom, Mo and his dad, Mo/He Tian and Buzzcut [seriously I need more Buzzcut he’s so wholesome and funny], Jian Yi and his mom, Zheng Xi and his sister, Jian Yi and Zheng Xi’s sister and just the three of them in general, Jian Yi and that girl who liked Zheng Xi but ended up supporting Zhanyi and becoming good friends with them [feel free to tell me her name], etc). Point is, I hope to see more of these other relationships explored in the series. Don’t get me wrong, I love the current arcs and I’m happy with wherever Old Xian decides to take their story, but it would be awesome to see all that the story could explore rather than focus only on what its already mostly explored.
Anyhow, I’m excited to see where Old Xian takes us. See y’all in the next chapter!

i rly love the difference of dynamic between tianshan and zhanyi (is this the most common pairing name?). one of my friends who recommended the comic to me firstly fell in love with jian yi/zhan xixi because of how soft and slow and sweet their relationship is, whereas i adore tianshan for how visceral their emotions are, the push and pull!
i really like that there’s a bit of diversity in the two couples so there’s something for everyone to like and admire 😭♥️
what was it that first drew you guys to the pairings/which is your favourite and why haha 😂♥️ i wanna know!! i’m missing an update and need my 19days fix ❤️‍🩹 i love mo and tian best because of the fight to get closer, the rollercoaster of fluff and angst and how tian is just SO CERTAIN of his love for mo that he never gives it up!!!

Tianshan Fan fic I just whipped up cause I'm bored. NSFW
“The customers loved that meat stew you created Guan Shan. Let’s add that to the menu from now on.”
“Really? Wow thank you so much.”
“You did a good job. Get some rest, see ya tomorrow.”
“Thank you again sir.”
Guan Shan finishes cleaning up the kitchen and heads home for the night. He’s had this job as a cook for about six months now since graduating high school. It isn’t the first time the owner complimented his cooking, but it always caught him off guard. He still isn’t used to such positive feedback.
‘That was the stew I made for Tian the first time I cooked for him.’  Tian… It’s been about three years now since his brother He Cheng sent him to a boarding school far away. They’d lost touch. Guan Shan sighs and looks up to the sky.  ‘Wonder what he’s been up to?’
‘Little Mo.’
Guan Shan whips around looking for the voice, but there’s no one there. He sighs again, because its just in his head. He misses Tian. They all do.
Back at home with his mom, Guan Shan showers and settles on his bed. He’s still living there to help her with the bills. Would Tian be proud of him? Before leaving, Tian made him promise three things— graduate from school, stay out of trouble, and wait for him. So far, he’s abided by the promise. Graduated in the middle of the class. With She Li gone, staying out of trouble was easy, plus he had Yi and Xi around too. But the waiting… that is getting difficult.
‘Best not to think about him too much.’  Guan Shan reminds himself. Because it hurt to do so.
He couldn’t pinpoint when or why he’d developed feelings for Tian, but he’d stopped denying it a long time ago. At first it made him feel so weak… But eventually it didn’t matter. Guan Shan closes his eyes and lets out a long exhale. Tian… if he thought hard about it, he could still feel his touch and the warmth of his arms around him. Unconsciously touching his lips, the memory of their first real kiss came flooding back. He’d been weak, broken and battered by She Li, yet Tian held and kissed him. Why did this guy care so much about him? It was the first time Guan Shan had felt real love. Whatever had been brewing between them up till that point solidified into more than just a friendship.
The next morning there’s a knock on the door. Guan Shan answers it since his mom isn’t home.
“Hey, Little Mo.”
Guan Shan’s eyes light up. “Tian?” He immediately hugs the man tight. “You’re finally back?”
He embraces Guan Shan in kind, then pulls back to covet his lips. “I’ve missed you Mo.”
“I’ve missed you too ya bastard. What took you so long?”
They go inside and settle at the dining table.
“The school was strict,” He explaines, “and didn’t let us contact anyone unless it was family. I hated it, but my brother promised if I got top marks, he’d let me come back, so that’s what I did.”
“But you still didn’t come right after graduation.”
“I had to solidify my place in the organization.” He caresses Guan Shan’s cheek. “So, I’d be able to take care of my husband.”
Guan Shan’s eyes widens. “You still talking that stuff?”
He holds up his left hand to show the cheap store ring from long ago. “I never take it off. And I have kept an eye on you over the years through my brother. Like I know the restaurant you work at, and you kept your promises.”
“Tch,” Guan Shan’s cheeks flush. “I didn’t wanna get beat up if you did come back.”
“If?” He’s eyebrow twitches. “You doubted me?”
“No! No!” Guan Shan swipes at the air. “I didn’t!”
“Tch, better not have.” He teases and kisses Guan Shan again. “Get dressed, I’ve got a surprise for you.”
“But I work in a couple hours…”
“Don’t worry ‘bout that, ‘cause you own the place now.”
“Come again? Did I hear that correctly?!”
“Surprise number one. I bought the restaurant for you and your mom.”
“But—”
“But nothing, get dressed so I can show you, my surprise.”
As Guan Shan got ready, he continues to talk. “Tian, this is crazy. I don’t know how to run a restaurant, but more so, you just got back and you’re doing these grand things, and—”
He clasps Guan Shan’s cheeks. “Your mom is already at the restaurant. I got in touch with her a week ago about everything and asked to marry you. Now I’ve got one more thing to show you.”
This is crazy. Is all Guan Shan could think on the drive to wherever they’re going. Who the hell just gifts someone a restaurant?! Scratch that. How did Tian pull off buying a restaurant?! Exactly what is his job in the organization now to afford so much? Which Guan Shan assumed he meant Jian’s dad’s gang. ‘I’m dating a triad member.’  That is surreal in and of itself.
“We’re here,” He squeezes Guan Shan’s hand.
Guan Shan looks around. “Your family’s land?” He recognizes the area.
He points to the west. “My brother’s house is over there. This is our home.” He caresses Guan Shan’s cheek. “Your new home.”
“Are you serious…” Guan Shan breathes out, too shocked to say more.
In that moment, He drops to one knee and holds up a box. “Marry me.”
Guan Shan stares at the ring that resembles the one Tian is wearing, except this one is real! Emeralds shaped into a star as the center stone, flanked by rubies along the band. “Tian…” his eyes tear as they crinkle into a smile. “Fucker, ‘course I’ll marry ya.”
He slips the ring onto Guan Shan’s ring finger with a kiss. He then takes out another ring not as opulent but with emeralds and rubies in the band, slipping it onto his own finger next to the cheap one. “Shall we go inside now?”
“Yeah,” Guan Shan wipes away the few tears that trickle down his cheek.
As He shows Guan Shan around their new home, he also explains that he bought his mom a new apartment near the restaurant. Their home is almost as massive as He Cheng’s. It has 4 bedrooms consisting of a master and 3 guests. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, but the master also has a walk-in closet. Aside from those, there’s the kitchen, dining room, a den, an office, and a patio. The backyard is a Zen style garden. Finally, there are three maids, a cook, a driver, and a gardener on staff.
As they stand inside the master bedroom. “Told ya I’d take good care of you,” He caresses Guan Shan’s cheek, then lifts his chin to kiss him. “You can still work at the restaurant, or you can just be my arm candy. It’s up to you.”
“This is all surreal…” Guan Shan murmurs.
“But still very much real.”
He yanks Guan Shan’s shirt off then his own, tossing them aside. Between kisses, the pants are next to go, pooling at their feet leaving them just in underwear. He goes in for a deeper, needier kiss, nibbling at Guan Shan’s lower lip and slipping his tongue through its parting. Their tongues dance to a slow rhythm as Guan Shan threads his fingers through He’s hair. He slowly backs Guan Shan to the bed where they fall onto it with, He on top controlling.
“I’m gonna make love to you little Mo,” He murmurs as he nibbles kisses along Guan Shan’s neck. “Are you ready for it?”
“No.”
“Are you scared?”
“Nervous.”
“Don’t worry, Baby, I’ll get you prepped and make you feel good.”
Guan Shan kicks his underwear off, but is too embarrassed to look at He, so he covers his blushing face. That makes He chuckle and only fuels the kisses he’s placing along Guan Shan’s body. Chaste kisses and nibbles, He teases the nipples and leaves marks in his wake, placing gentle care over any scars. Down he travels over the taut abs and amongst the reddish happy trail leading to Guan Shan’s erection.
He grabs a condom and lube from the nightstand, slipping the condom over two of his fingers. He then drizzles lube over Guan Shan. Once he’s ready, He goes down.
“Oh, fuck!” Guan Shan grits his teeth as He clamps his mouth over his cock. “T-Tian!!”
“Das wite, ca my name.” He mumbles, grinning at his red-faced conquest as he sucks roughly, licking and toying with the shaft.
Now that He’s sent the man’s attention elsewhere, He slides his gloved fingers into Guan Shan’s hole, slowly scissoring and curling them as he continues pleasuring his cock.
“T-That hurts a little…”
“I’ll go slower.”
“But fuck it does feel good.”
That’s what He wants to hear. Over and over, he slides, scissors, curls looking for sweet spots and noting any that triggers Guan Shan to react. Soon enough, he builds to three fingers. All the while sucking off his lover.
“Slow down,” Guan Shan whines. “I’m gonna cum.”
But that only makes He speed up, pumping his fingers and adding his hand to stroke his lover’s shaft. Seeing the blithering mess before him has He in heaven.
“Tian… slow…”
“Cum for me Little Mo.” He purrs.
“Fuck!” Guan Shan’s back arches as his end splatters his chest. He drops onto the bed breathing heavily. “Fuck…”
He leans over and kisses Guan Shan softly as he tosses the condom. He then removes his boxers. “I’ll go slow, so tell me if it hurts.”
Guan Shan nods and closes his eyes to steel himself against what comes next. While he’s excited, he’s also nervous to have sex for the first time.
A new condom is rolled on along with extra lube applied. He then settles himself between Guan Shan’s thighs and lines up. As soon as He presses the tip to the hole, his lover tenses and hooks his legs around his waist. Inch by inch He pushes his cock into Guan Shan, each time watching and waiting to give the man time to adjust. “Relax baby, it’s easier if you relax.”
“Then kiss me,” Guan Shan grumbles.
So, He obliges and leans over to kiss his lover. The position shifts their hips and pushes his cock the last couple inches inside causing Guan Shan to whimper.
“I’m in baby,” He kisses Guan Shan repeatedly. “You feel so amazing Little Mo.” He stays seated for a few minutes allowing his lover to adjust to his girth. “Can I move now?”
Guan Shan nods and He can’t help his heart skipping a beat. The man looks so handsome below him, glistening with sweat all flushed and heady. His cock twitches in delight. “Fuck I love you so much Momo.” He clasps the man’s cheeks and kisses him again.
“Love you too, fucker.”
He’s eyes flash with excitement. It’s the first time Guan Shan has returned the sentiment. Lying prone, He kisses the man again as he rocks his hips in a controlled undulation. In and out He moves, milking the wondrous mewls and whimpers coming from his lover, to blend with his grunts and moans. Fuck, “Mo you feel so damn good!”  ‘I won’t last much longer.’
The friction of their bodies rubbing against Guan Shan’s cock is overstimulating it again. He groans and arches against He’s frame, wrapping his arms around and digging his fingers into the man’s back.
“Tian…” Guan Shan moans. “I’m gonna cum again…”
“Wait… for me…” He picks up the pace. “I’m almost there— Mo!” He grits his teeth as the first pulse hits him. It doesn’t help that Guan Shan tightens up as he cums too, squeezing He’s cock of all it holds.
He pulls out and rolls over, stripping the condom off and dropping it alongside the bed. “Damn Little Mo, you’re even better than I fantasized.”
“I thought you’d be rougher.”
“Do you want me to be rougher?”
“Maybe sometimes— don’t get that glint in your eye Tian!”
He rolls onto Guan Shan and starts tickling him. “Glint? What glint? I’m an innocent good boy.”
“Innocent my ass!” Guan Shan squeals and laughs. “Stop it! Stop! We’re all sticky and sweaty!”
He rolls them over till Guan Shan is on top. He smiles and kisses his lover and pats his butt. “Are you okay though? Does it hurt?”
“A little, but not too bad.”
“Good.” He kisses him again then moves them into sitting positions. “We should get cleaned up and head out. I’m sure you’d like to talk to your mom and check on the restaurant.”
“I do, but Tian… what do you do for the Triad to afford all this?”
“You really want to know?”
“I don’t want secrets between us.”
“I’ll explain everything later tonight. For now, I just want to enjoy our reunion.”
Guan Shan smiles in thought. “I kinda feel like Ye Xian.”
That makes He laugh. “Does that make me the King of To'Han.”
“Shut up!” Guan Shan slaps He’s chest. “I’m being serious! I’m just some poor guy who’s swept of their feet by a rich Triad member. It’s like a fairytale.”
He sweeps Guan Shan into his lap, kisses him, and rests their foreheads together. “Well, it just means dreams can come true.”

five comfort characters, five tags
thanks for including me to be one of the special five tags @kingfisherprince and @yoellglia I'm so honoured omg🙈
ANYWAYS. Five characters only is IMPOSSIBLE. I have tons but..these are what pops up in my mind first.
1. Peter Quill!! Honestly idk if he's number 1. But this are not by rankings cause I'm picky about comfort characters and they're all number 1. I love Peter he's so funny, so charismatic and soooo baby, (and so traumatized wow) The first time I saw him I KNEW he was going to be my favourite Guardian along w Rocket and Groot.
2. Dean Winchester. Hello my traumatized baby, look at him. He's so sweet and cute, despite all that trauma and stuff going on in his life he's still so kind and he tries not to continue the trauma chain and I'm so proud of him. He's my fav SPN character along with Bobby Singer, Crowley, and Castiel <3
3. (omg suddenly there's too much characters in my head) UHHHH. OKAY MO GUAN SHAN!! MOMO FROM 19 DAYS MANHWA. yes. I mean the whole manhwa is my comfort manhwa, I'm always sooo excited for new chapters but momo is my fav lil kitten he's so agressive and cute and baby, always getting into fights and definitely has some sort of freaking PTSD or something but He Tian's there to love him. So it's fine. TianShan couple goals.
4. Charles Xavier. Again, all of this is not ranked and if it was, Charles will be up a little bit. Charles Xavier, fav telepath and a cutie pie. He has mommy issues, and daddy issues ig, and in the comics he probably traumatized his son I mean. Look at his son. But that's besides the point! He's the sweetest, in terms of characters I relate to Erik more, and I'm more of an Erik Lehnsherr mindset cause c'mon. Mutants are superior idc but Erik is more serious than Charles, not my thing nono. So I have to have my sweetheart Charles here. Him and that tree scene is so cute, him when he found out that girl has a husband was even MORE cute. He's the cutest I can't-
5. Sam Wilson. Fav buff guy, smol smol bean 🤏🤏 I want to keep him in my pocket. He's doing great, unlike all the other characters I don't think he is that traumatized despite almost dying in an explosion, got dusted by Thanos, his best friend growing old( like rotting old) and giving him the responsibility of being Captain America and the whole states in his hand, and he definitely had identity crisis for a while. But that's just common marvel trauma. anyways, he's the guy, he's the cutest, him and his lil wizards, aliens and stuff speech was so cute. His whole character is a comfort.
Honorable mention of Iruka, Shinya Hiragi, Gojo, Loki, Shuri, and more I can't think of rn (I just woke up guys)
Tagginggggg hmmmmm. I wish to tag as much as I want but it's 5 and I have to play by the rules so sorry other mutuals, yk I love you all so much. Tags: @thefrootloopman @swaggypsyduck @janesurlife @tam-is-blogging @ponderingrabbit-blog (if u guys liked this post and I didn't tag u, in my mind I did, in another universe I did, IM FEELING GUILTY RN U GUYS ARE SPECIAL TOO OKAY!!! I'll tag u guys in another ask game I PINKY PROMISE)

oh nono! im also afraid of offending when discussing topics this long lol! but i get it- i think i personally just dont think much how jian yi needs to be clearer, but rather if zhen xi will become more than a man of just "actions" but also maybe more "words" as well. because the more jian yi shoots in the dark of what will/wont work to see if zhen xi is actually into him, theyre both going to get nowhere! we're already confused with zhen xis feelings toward jian yi after his confession in that basketball chapter, so i just imagine its still confusing in the future since all zhen xi gives off is "i already like you enough to be friends-what else you want from me." like i literally forgot jian yi already straight up confessed until i was writing this, so now im like "ahh now i know why im waiting for zhen xi to be the one to say something," cause he knew damn straight for years haha!
i think im just hesitant too because i dont fully get still these comparisons of charatcers and the results of development though their actions. like even your point “hey dude we’re not boyfriends why are you touching me without my consent”- i swear i dont mean to point fingers but i see that with tianshan too. hetian is now getting more humble but that wasnt always the case. so i just dont get how one couple is getting these different results when i see similarities in both- unless the answer is just the beauty of diversity in writing/characters and how they get together.
and i wouldnt say jian yi is sly persay- i always interperted it as a purposeful parallel with tian (i just love parallels, boy lmty). like you got two guys who both want to be confident and take initiative- one is more sucessful, the other has more characteristics that counteract that. bc i dont think jian yi is shy at all- just scared. he has breakdowns whenever his sexuality is brought up or his feelings revealed toward his best friend. i think its more like he wants to be seen as confident and forward as hetian, but is wrapped up in these fears and his dummy ways that he just goes from 0 to 100 way too quick for his own good. i hope this doesnt make you see him as the villain though loll!
We cool then, I like that we respect each other’s points of view, let me reply to this in different points so I can be more specific
Confession time
let’s start with how that confession happened
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ZZX asked, it didn’t came out of JY freely, I believe that Xixi and all of us understood that he needed to give an answer but, and please don’t take this the wrong way, even tho is taking him forever he didn’t turn him down, between the kiss and the confession ZZX made up his mind to give this a chance it is fair to take your time to give a reply when you’re not sure about your feelings, in my opinion is way worse to jump into a relationship just because your best friend likes you and JY isn’t asking to be more than that, let me be clear Xixi is taking him seriously and JY is the one who is content with being friends, for some people they rather stay friends forever than live without them. True JY gave a big step forward when he kissed ZZX but he’s also the one who asked to just be friends, he’s the one who’s always telling ZZX to ask other people out and people can tell me that this is because JY doesn’t see any interest but the guy keeps telling him “what about you?” Could we give ZZX the benefit of the doubt and think that maybe just maybe he is also waiting for JY to make up his mind?? To be ready and decide if he wants something more?? Is not easy for both of them, but in the future when JY is not harassing ZZX the later one gives him what he isn’t asking, I’m not talking about the kiss but reassurance
Tumblr media
*Please notice that this angel didn’t took advantage of a drunk person who was clearly taking advantage of his drunken state
JY just needs to be honest and stop playing safe and if ZZX is guilty of something that is being too soft, he should grab JY and just straight tell him “look stop this friends with benefits bs and just ask me to be your boyfriend”
Different couples different outcomes
I see the point of HT is also touching Mo but the big difference is that HT did it since day 3, ZhanYi never had this kind of interaction, they do behave like a couple some times but not in the hands all over each other type contrary to TianShan, not saying that JY doesn’t want to just that he tries in the wrong way.
Tumblr media
I have been talking about the He Tian effect for quite a while, basically people see HT fucking thriving and think that maybe they should be more like him and just erase the word shame of their vocabulary, problem is that this strategy is made to work with Mo Guan Shan and Mo Guan Shan only, it looks easy but HT didn’t just woke up one day and said “today I’m gonna give zero fucks about personal space and just go for it” nope this man carefully studied MGS reactions and made a tailored strategy to win his affections, the case study of cargo in the elevator is a good reference for this, he does loses his patience and comes out as a brute but that is not all he’s doing or what’s helping him win MGS’s heart, although JY may think that that’s the case, so he is trying to behave similarly, he should try to just open up, ZZX not being MGS would give him what he wants, I would expect for JY to know this.
Tumblr media
In there rare occasions that he does something only using his brain ZZX’s response is favorable, why he doesn’t keep trying? I honestly don’t know, if HT had seen Mo bushing after he put a skirt on I can assure you that he would be wearing one every damn time they’re alone
Tumblr media
yes JY is scared in the present time, only in front of ZZX tho because when he’s with other people he doesn’t hesitate to express what he wants, but if he isn’t ready to risk nothing he isn’t going to win no matter how much he waits and that is not ZZX’s fault, over all I think ZZX has been understanding but he can do so much without forcing JY to make up his mind because he clearly already made his
Tumblr media
Things just got worse in the future, in my opinion and here is where I see him cunning, as you said if both of them can’t agree that they need to talk about it they’re doom, we know that they’re not but how they’re going to get together is still a mystery to me although I have my money in ZZX giving up on JY ever talking clear to him and just telling him “this is the date for our wedding just do me a favor an show up in time”
It is frustrating although i believe that OX is consistent with the character and i still have hopes that one day he’s going to realize that he needs to change his strategy because is not working, at least not at the speed we would prefer.
I really want for Jian Yi to talk about it, is a personal preference and I understand people have different opinions I just don’t consider fair to blame only one of them, not you Anon but there’s people out there who are not so nice with ZZX, apologies for the late reply I’m actually doing this at my job now everyone knows that I’m to male friendship if you ask me is their fault for making me come on Saturday

Tianshan dating headcannons because i also love these two dumbasses too
Also dedicated to @el-mundo-real who requested tianshan headcannons 🖤
. . .
- Literally no one knows whether they’re dating or not. Not even themselves because they don’t talk about it
- Jian yi thinks they’re dating already and Zhengxi says they’re still getting there (somehow they’re both right) and they make a bet
- He tian likes staying over at Mo’s and he’s gotten pretty close to mama Mo
- Mama Mo teaches him how to knit !! He tried to knit a scarf for Mo but it came out a little messy and tangled. Mo still wears it anyway saying it’s a waste of yarn if not used (He’s actually really touched)
- He eats dinner there about 5 times a week and sleeps over thrice a week. He’s a permanent fixture in the house now, he has his own plate and mug, utensils, toothbrush, a spare key, and more than half of his closet migrated to Mo’s closet
- Sometimes Mo “accidentally” wears He tian’s sweaters and He tian dies a little bit every time
- Sometimes He tian deliberately wears Mo’s clothes and it’s always tighter and a bit shorter on his body so when he moves his arms the shirt rides up. Mo guanshan shouts at him to change and to stop contaminating his clothes but his ears are red anyway
- They bicker A LOT. Over the smallest things because He tian loves riling him up and Mo gets riled up too easily
He tian, for the 7th time in 5 minutes: “What does this thing do?”
Mo guanshan, losing his mind: “THAT’S A FUCKING MICROWAVE WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK IT DO?!”
- There are times when homicide is the best option
Mo Guanshan: “I acknowledge that I can be mean sometimes-”
He tian, in the bathtub: “Sometimes?”
Mo Guanshan: “Shut the fuck up. So I brought you a bath bomb as a peace offering.”
He tian: “That’s a fucking toaster.”
Mo guanshan: “Exactly. A bath bomb.”
- Contrary to what his actions say, Mo guanshan is actually relieved that He tian spends most of his time in their apartment. He tian never told him but he can see how lonely the other teenager is
- Mo guanshan tries to teach He tian chores because He tian knows nothing about cleaning or doing everyday things
Mo guanshan: “How the fuck do you not know how to wash dishes where the hell do you eat?!”
He tian, drinking milk straight out the carton: “Obviously on plates, Momo. I just throw them away after.”
Mo guanshan, sputtering: “WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU THROW OUT PLATES?!”
- The first and only recipe that He tian managed to cook successfully is instant noodles with boiled egg that’s not quite cooked enough. Sometimes he brings Mo noodles as breakfast in bed and he looks so proud of it Mo has a hard time saying that the noodles are overcooked and that noodles aren’t exactly breakfast food (he eats it anyway)
- Mo sometimes, only sometimes, brings He tian grocery shopping because he needs to learn how to buy food for himself. Somehow He tian always ends up in the miscellaneous section where he has a pack of ballpens he’ll never use, 2 journals he’ll also never use, a couple of scented candles, various dog clothes and leashes for the dog he doesn’t have, a couple’s mug, and a vase in his cart
- He tian stopped trying to barge into Mo guanshan’s bed and sleeps on the futon on the floor beside it. It’s not the most comfortable and he had a hard time sleeping on it at first but he likes being in Mo’s company even while sleeping
- Sometimes Mo would move in his sleep and leave his arm dangling on the side of the bed, He tian grabs it of course and Mo wakes up to sweaty palms. He still leaves it for a few moments before harshly slapping away He tian’s hand
- Mo’s hands aren’t smooth at all because of working all the time and practicing the guitar but He tian loves them all the same. He likes to feel the contrast in textures with his slightly smoother hands
- He tian has a thousand pictures of Mo guanshan sleeping in various angles and poses. He has his favorites framed and keeps it on his bedside table in his apartment so when he’s sleeping there he still feels like they’re sleeping together
- Mo guanshan has a few of He tian sleeping but he swears up and down that he'll never do anything as disgusting as that. He makes one of them his wallpaper.
- Sometimes when they don’t feel like sleeping yet they stay up talking and arguing about random things
Mo guanshan: “Why would aliens be in space? The ocean is definitely the way to go.”
He tian: “But why would they be in the ocean? They’ll drown.”
Mo guanshan: “They’re aliens maybe they have gills or some shit.”
He tian: “I’m telling you they’re not in the ocean, Mo.”
Mo guanshan: “And I’m telling you you’re wrong, bastard.”
- On rare days they would stay up talking about their pasts and about life in general, with the lights closed and the only source of light is the moonlights from the window
- One of these nights, Mo told He tian about what happened to his dad and their restaurant, why they’re in so much debt over it and He tian holds Mo’s hand tightly throughout
- He knew better than to say that he could pay for that debt so Mo doesn’t need to worry anymore (He still says it anyway and Mo blew a fuse) but he swore to help Mo through other means
- The next day he orders a whole carton of mangoes, apples and peaches in his apartment and learns how to peel properly through youtube and Zhengxi
- He goes to Mo’s part time job in the grocery and helps him peel fruits, Mo guanshan doesn’t mention anything when he notices the bandaids on the other’s hands but he does cook him beef stew for dinner
- As expected He tian’s presence brings more customers and the manager asks if he wants to work there permanently but he said he’s only working for Mo so the manager can give Mo a raise instead
- Once, Mo got sick so he missed his part time job for the day (He was supposed to give away flyers on the streets) and got extra pissy because He tian didn’t visit him and wouldn’t answer his phone
- Apparently He tian took over his job for the day and he only finds out when he goes to the manager and the manager asks when his ‘boyfriend’ can come back to work again because the customers love him
- He tian almost never talks about himself but once he talked about the puppy who disappeared after he saves it and then found out that it’s still alive after all these years
- Mo keeps quiet about it the whole time he was talking and the next few days he takes time to knit a small dog plushie and leaves it on He tian’s futon
- He tian didn’t cry, he didn’t (he did), but he hugged Mo and whispered a sincere thank you. For once, Mo lets it happen
- Mo quickly regrets his decision when He tian names the plushie “Chicken sandwich”
- He tian brings Mo in a lot of not-dates (according to Mo) like arcades, ocean parks, festivals, and fairs because he didn’t get to go as a kid and he wants to experience it for the first time with Mo
- They get crazy competitive in every game. Every. Single. One. If it’s a co-op shooting game they would compete on who kills the most enemies, if it’s a harmless crane game it becomes a competition of who can get the most plushies
- They both each have a photobooth strip. Mo keeps his as a bookmarker in a journal, and He tian has his in the back of his phone.
- They go on a double not-date with Jian yi and Zhengxi and it ends up in almost getting chased by a police car at 2 am in pokemon onesies and holding a bag of chips
- Sometimes Mo would visit his dad in prison and just rant to him about He tian
Mo guanshan: “The nerve of that guy to do something like that in front of a teacher urgh.”
Papa Mo: “Your boyfriend sounds like a fun guy, son. I want to meet him soon.”
Mo guanshan: “BO-BOYFRIEND?!”
Papa Mo: “Yes???”
Mo guanshan: “No??? That bastard isn’t my boyfriend??”
Papa Mo: “Are you sure about that?”
Mo guanshan: “...Yes?”
- Enter gay panique because he doesn’t actually know whether He tian is his boyfriend or not
- They don’t call each other boyfriends and they never talked about it so no??? But they’re also not just friends so maybe??? Do they go on dates?? Can grocery trips be considered dates??
- He rings up Jian yi and the blonde just laughed for 5 minutes straight without stopping and he wonders how he’s still breathing
Mo Guanshan, after hearing Jian yi laughing for 5 minutes: “Are you fucking done?”
Jian yi, trying to catch his breath: “Man this is some top-tier entertainment.”
Mo guanshan: “WELL?!”
Jian yi: “Look bro literally no one knows whether you’re dating, fucking, planning each other’s murder OR planning a murder together.”
Mo guanshan: “What if it’s all of the above?”
Jian yi: “Then congratulations…? Please don’t murder me?”
Mo guanshan: “Urgh you’re fucking useless I should have called Zhengxi.”
Jian yi: “Wait don’t, I don’t wanna lose the bet. How about this, there’s a festival upcoming for couples and families, if He tian asks you then you’re probably, maybe, dating?”
Mo guanshan: “That’s stupid. AND WHAT BET?!”
Jian yi: “Ah woops gotta water my dog.”
- Mo tells himself that it’s stupid and there’s no way he’s falling for that...but he feels disappointed anyway when He tian doesn’t ask him the following days
- He tian asks on the last day before the festival, but he asks mama Mo first and Mo guanshan second cuz he wants to celebrate with both of them. He confessed that he’s never actually went to a festival with a family before so he was trying to build up courage to ask
- Mo guanshan is an absolute goner after that
- On the day of the festival, they find Zhanyi there on a date but decide to leave them alone. While they were leaving Jian yi kept throwing Mo guanshan so much winks that Zhengxi thought he got something in his eye
- The festival was fun but Mo couldn’t take his eyes off how happy and content He tian looks
- Queue cliche fireworks scene but it’s He tian being amazed by the fireworks and Mo looking mesmerized at him thinking, “Ah, I want him to look at me like that.”
- The next day, he drags He tian to visit his dad in jail
Papa mo: “Oh this is a surprise, you’ve never brought someone before?”
He tian, trying to introduce himself: “Hello, sir. I’m He tian, Mo guanshan’s fri-”
Mo guanshan, cuts him off: “Boyfriend. He’s my boyfriend, dad.”
He tian:

As fun as the events and ideas you posted about 19days would be, wouldn’t it also just bring in more negative stuff - like fandom in general has become a field of land mines and I fear that something that’s supposed to fun will turn into some sort of battle. Like how some people get extremely heated over any other ships outside of their fave ship and they cannot possibly have other ships except theirs, etc. The last thing anyone wants is for content creators to be targeted simply for making something they thought would be fun
(This ask and answer is about this post.)
First of all thank you so much for addressing such a big and valid concern. I agree that that has indeed happened in certain fandoms - I can say I've been in the thick of it and witnessed quite the warfare - but in others it has also brought fans and readers and content creators together even closer and tighter in a wonderful thriving community.
I have the feeling this'll get quite long so please proceed under the cut with that in mind.
I believe all things are potential harbingers of both discord and harmony. There will always be people who feel entitled and who want - even demand! the audacity! - authors and artists to create for their ships and their ships alone. And there will also always be people who can appreciate the writing and the art without judgemental treatment regarding the pairings/characters depicted, no matter their preferences.
All of that happens and will continue to happen, whether we go forward with these events or not. And yet authors will still write what they want to write, artists will still draw what they want to draw, graphic designers will still make the edits they want to make as well. What we could do, in this small and close knit fandom, is take in our hands this powerful rich opportunity and try our best to make a model of positivity out of it.
In these events, there would be no bashing or shaming allowed. The content created would be to be enjoyed by those who are attracted to it, and those who do not have a taste for that fanwork in particular would be asked to remain respectful. (As it should always be.) There would be no ship wars in these spaces. Discourse, hate-speech or anti-behaviour would not be tolerated by the moderators of the event.
Creators who indulged in it would be immediately disqualified. Any unnecessary commentary or complaints from the audience would be deleted and reported as spam. Anyone instigating conflict would be only painting a target on their back, really. Because most of us - I dare say - are only here to appreciate the brilliant artwork and fanfiction woven and crafted by the talented people who share it with us.
If it came to it and it escalated, this hellsite has several tools that can be put to use to that regard. Accounts could be blocked and/or even reported. They wouldn't be able to interact with the blogs created to run these events from then on. We would be able to create a black list and post it publicly so everyone else who wished to could simply block those unruly pesky accounts and remain at peace and free to enjoy themselves to their utmost.
Let us not forget that this is all fiction and it's all for fun. Everyone's allowed to have their own opinion, likes and dislikes. There simply is no need to step on anyone else and their interests to elevate them.
Let's exemplify, for the sake of clarity:
Do I personally ship A with B? Imagine I do not. I do not search for it. If I come across it? I scroll past it. Once or twice, I may even like - and even reblog - if it happens to catch my attention and it's well written/drawn! (I have tags along the lines of 'I don't ship it but' and 'look at this beautiful art' or 'drown in the power of these words.')
It's so easy to interact amongst ourselves without coming with pitchforks at one another. Know what actually needs effort? Being a meanie and a party popper! Who in their right mind wastes their time on things they don't care for? Dum dums, that's who! Of course, we're all dummies at times... and that's okay! Let's just not harass people or crash their fun while we're at it!
If nothing else: you wouldn't like if others did this or that to you, therefore don't do it to others. It's a simple concept to grasp.
Very important: in these events, every single piece would be explicitly and properly tagged and warned for right at the very top of each post, so there would be absolutely no excuses for anyone being nasty.
We would just have to be open to the experience. Enjoy our ships and let other enjoy theirs. We do not have to all like the same thing. That would be just boring. But we can cohabitate devoid of trouble in fandom. Each one of us just has to be respectful. No need to even be nice. No one has to compliment something they don't like. They also don't have to step on what others do.
Don't like a ship/character/theme? Don't read stories focused on it. Don't put down authors who write it or readers who enjoy it. Same for art. No need to shout about how awful it is just for the simple reason that it does not fit into your personal shipping preferences. It can still be still be a tasty and wonderfully baked cake, it's just that you're not fond of vanilla or strawberries. It's okay. There are all kinds of cake for everyone's tastes!
Further examples: If a ship happens to be a NOTP for me or I don't care for the character(s)? I filter the tags. All of them. Any and every tag I can think of. It's very easy to protect ourselves on Tumblr from content we do not wish to see. (My own list is huge and just as effective.) Filtering is incredibly important.
So go ahead and filter out the ships you can do without! Filter out porte-manteaux like Tianshan, Zhanyi, Qiucheng, Tianxi, Tianyi, Lishan, Litian, Liyi, Shantou, Polydays, (...) Filter out any ship tag that doesn't strike your fancy like Q x MGS, HC x JY's mom, (...) Filter out characters that aren't your cuppa tea like HT, HT's dad, SL, JY's mom, XH, (...)
Make it safe for yourself and for others. That way you won't rage at the sight of your NOTP, won't feel the compulsive need to trash the people who ship it, no one is hurt and everyone is happy!
There are many steps we could follow to prevent rotten eggs in our coop. And many more actions we could take to throw them out if need be. I firmly believe, however, that if we're all of the same mind everything would go well and with very few bumps along the way.
If we only ever feared the possible negative consequences of our actions, never taking the risk for the possible positive ones, we'd never get anything done. I say let's not let our beloved fandom stagnate or dry out. Let's incentivate and motivate and inspire! Let's share! Let's have fun!
Think of it in these terms: it wouldn't be a competition at all but rather a charity event. Performers and spectators coming together for a common good, raising content and spreading joy! There would be no winners or losers or prizes. What would matter would be good old-fashioned participation, both by providing content and/or consuming it.
It could also a good way to get people to express themselves more. Many content consumers tend to lurk or keep to themselves even if they like the content posts. (I used to be one myself and only a couple months ago started to come out of my shell.) I myself advocate for reblogging instead of liking - if you have to choose one or the other, I mean, why not do both? - and leaving a word on every single post I like and/or reblog. Sometimes I go nuts commenting, sometimes I leave a small note in the tags.
It doesn't matter how. Even if you're shy or introverted (*raises hand*) or don't know what to say I guarantee a single emoticon or a string of disordered letters symbolising incoherence will make the creator's day all the same. Getting feedback is so important and motivational for creators and also a great way for fandom members to keep in touch and support each other.
Additionally, if a person would like more of a certain type of content here are some healthy actions they could take: a) commission a creator and pay for it if they can; b) politely make a suggestion to a creator with an open ask box; c) post a prompt publicly for possible interested creators to use; d) do it yourself and share it with others!
This turned out into more of a "behavioural guidelines" thing than I'd have liked. I am not in any way whatsoever telling anyone what to do. This is what I do, and it works wonders for me. I stay completely out of toxic arguments and in on all the goodies. I'm able to fully enjoy my fandoms. And isn't that what we all want?
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with me. And I apologise for the long rant!
Of course, this is only my personal stance on the issue. I did go for a survey first exactly for this end, to get their opinions on the subject and see if it would be worth a shot. I shall hope many other people will think as I do, but I will wholly respect those who don't.

Like the last anon, I also wish Tianshan is a Japanese or Korean couple.(´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`) It’s a pity that they can’t do much, because they have SOOOO much potential and I even think they are the best couple in the whole BL genre. (I read both Japanese and Korean (nsfw/sfw) bl webtoon and manga a lot) I wish He Tian could just climb the mountain without restrictions.
He can climb the mountain but unfortunately out of our sinful eyes!  (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥`)
I actually wrote them vacationing in Japan because of this LOL. Although Japan might not be as “open” yet as other countries, there is movement here. There’s still stigma towards BL in the public eye but at least it’s not censored, we can buy them at bookstores and it can be produced freely as long as we follow age restrictions, and for fanworks, certain manners.
I think TianShan is really amazing too. TianShan is life. If it was officially published in Japan I will push it to everyone in the streets and in the dark alleys.
EDIT: Just to make our points clear~ It’s a problem of where OX lives where they cannot publish things without worrying about the consequences or threat of jail time. Not about nationality.

Hi. Both couples shippers must be ecstatic with the latest chapter. Both couples are shown to have been more comfortable with each other.
Though I do want to hear your opinions
Hello, dear anon!
To be honest. I don’t have that much to say about this chapter but I do agree with you. Both couples were catered adorable and funny content, so I would imagine both camps were happy.
Overall, I liked the chapter. It wasn’t that deep in content but it gave me some chuckles and awws. And there were a couple of panels that caught my attention.
The translations used in this answer are once again by very our own Speedy “Lizz” Gonzales translator @1154lizz
Tianshan lunch date
Tumblr media
First of all, MGS’s remark about gold-plated/carved chicken legs was hilarious. I think I like MGS’s salty/grumpy/I’m-so-done-with-y’all type of humor the best in 19 Days, and this gave me a laugh.
I’ve read that panel multiple times by now, but it still makes me smile.
Secondly, I wonder why HT’s meal card is charged so much? Does the meal card apply to school meals or..? But it kind of got me thinking that maybe HT stuffs himself silly at school because it’s the closest thing to a home-cooked meal he can get? At home, he eats convenient food and frozen ready meals? I don’t know how quality level school lunches are in China, but I bet it still beats grey frozen dumplings. There is just something about coming in for a hot meal cooked by someone else. even if it’s by the school cafeteria lady.
Tumblr media
Aww, this was sweet. I like that even though MGS was grumbling, he accepted the meatball. And he showed some concern about HT still needing his food, too. Also, the happy flower made another appearance! Childishly happy HT is always appreciated in this house.
Sneaky JY
Tumblr media
I really like JY gaining more and more nerve and confidence to pursue ZZX. This was funny and cute. I like it when he’s pushy in this kinda cute way. And surprised, flustered ZZX is always a nice sight.
Overall, a cute and funny chapter. I liked it.
How about y’all?

@blackbirdink this is a common argument when it comes to topics like this — and I want to make it clear that I totally agree. as a content creator myself (albeit not nearly on the scale as Old Xian), I understand the foundational principle that your art is your art, and you have the freedom to do what you wish with it at any given time. it is also very much up to the audience that digests such art to decide whether they want to continue doing so. no one is forcing anyone to create/partake in art in any fashion — this manhua is for fun and everyone here is a willing participant, including OX.
that is why I clearly stated that I’m not dropping 19 Days nor OX. I am willingly choosing to continue to enjoy the story I’ve fallen in love with over many, many years. however, you must understand that art is allowed to be criticized, especially when it is being spread in a public fashion online. I hope that doesn’t come off as self-absorbed or pompous, because I truly do not mean it in that way. this latest chapter rubbed me wrong, but I didn’t comment directly on OX’s post stating my perspective, nor have I been explicitly vehement/violent about my feelings with the intention to tear OX down. I don’t want the story to come to a screeching halt because I disagree with one aspect of it — and I feel like this is an important point that a lot of us are trying to make.
I guess I would understand more if this manhua was more direct in its audience/theme like K*lling St*lking — a story that I, personally, do not enjoy, but I’m not about to scream about it because I understand that it targets a specific audience with somewhat specific tastes, for lack of a better phrase. but 19 Days is more general, widespread, and all-encompassing in a slice-of-life fashion — and we just can no longer afford to normalize nonconsensual shit between gay couples when such content is being displayed worldwide by a popular author. and before you mark me down as someone who hates tianshan, please understand that they are very clearly my favorite couple in the manhua. I’ve been here since the very beginning — I’ve witnessed all the questionable things both Guan Shan and He Tian have done, but none of their actions have quite been as impactful on me as these latest interactions. you cannot shame me for something that makes me uncomfortable, and you cannot dictate whether or not I choose to speak out about it on my tiny little Tumblr blog.
thus, I’m not telling Old Xian how to run their story, that they need to rewrite the chapter, etc. I just think there are better ways to show that He Tian is (currently) inept at showing affection in an appropriate way without feeding into harmful stereotypes of gay, Asian men. I love Old Xian — their story is like none other I’ve come across for many OTHER reasons than the physical/slapstick violence they often use as comedic relief. I just personally hope that Old Xian emphasizes/sticks to those unique characteristics instead of the questionable ones that sometimes (not always!) arise.
and if Old Xian doesn’t? okay, that’s fine. like you said, it’s their story. I just will no longer read it — and I mean that in a “I hope you continue having fun creating your content, OX, wishing you the best!” and not “Fuck you for not catering to my personal desires and wishes, OX, I’m out of here and I hope your story fails.”
there is a big difference, and I hope this helps others understand where I and many others are coming from. :) <3

Opinions about the last chapter.
After reading lot of comments arguing about the latest chapter, I want to join the fight too \:v/
I have to admit this chapter felt like a mess, since HT's embarrassing actions to MGS's reactions, I didn't really know what to think, but after rereading it, I realized that it's just 19 days' comedy style. Everyone here should know how OX likes to make comedy with those kinky and dark jokes. Even zhanyi had plenty of those since the beggining to the middle of their story.
It's true Tianshan has more by far, that's always been like that, even in the time skip's chapters!! This may be due to the fact that it's a common BL trope. But, since the time skip's chapters are placed at least 4 years in the future, and it seems that HT is not always present during these, it may be strange for a character like MGS to not move on if he weren't really into him. By the way, he also looks more confident about themselves in the future artworks.
I just think Old Xian knows how to separate the serious and gap moments, this chapter wasn't a serious want, and I really noticed that with the last dialogue globe. That "someone helps me" would have been portraited in a different way if it were intented to be meanful, like the kiss escene. At this point everyone should know how OX likes to make comedy with those kinky and dark jokes. Even zhanyi had plenty of those since the beggining to the middle of their story.
Tianshan is not a vanilla couple, they have always been harsh and kind of dark. But not the point of showing this behaviour in a good way going that far. I think it's hardly possible to see a bath escene in the next chapter:
1.- it's Chinese
2.- this is shonen ai, not yaoi.
3.- that'd set the fandom on fire with a big frame with the word: RAPE just above it. Not just because of HT pushing MGS that far, but also the fact that they are minors, and that's kind of disturbing (even if my classmates might have done something like that at this point...).
What I beg for the next chapter to happen is:
HT pushing the joke a little further, MGS having enough (because he isn't a princess in distress who'd let someone do that to him) and smacking HT away, MGS scolding him about his behaviour during the night and how he hates it, then an awkward moment of silence, HT trying to apologize and explaining that just wanted to make something special for him. MGS still mad, he has reach his edge, but after some moments he is just tired and ask him for answers, why would he do that for him?, about the note, about everything. Maybe they are gonna talk seriously about their relationship, so at the end MGS agrees to stay the night with the condition HT won't try a weird move on him. Maybe we are going to see things falling in place?
I know this sounds more like a fanfic than anything, but the end of their last middle school year is coming and so the timeskip. We don't know if HT is going to leave as well as JY, but it will affect Tianshan in some way too, so some things have to be done before that .
I think at this point is clear that MGS has feelings for HT and that he has been letting his guard down for him recently. Everyone acts stupidly for love, HT and JY are the best examples, but MGS is not different from them, he is teenager who might also has curiosity about, you know... Even if that scares him to the bones, at least a very small part of him wants to spend time with the person he likes, even if there is the possibility of something happening. And this reminds me of the Christmas special. Why would MGS take HT to his own apartment after that weird interaction and receiving that gift if he wasn't into that? I mean, what would he expect from HT? Spend the night sleeping quietly in a couch? Hahahaha he knows him by far...
I not trying to say that they are gonna do something like that in the next chapter, but I hope to see them having a open talk about themselves. I think that would increase their liking for each other more than a sexy but kind of disgusting bath escene.
And well, we have to admit that those moments are kinky to watch anyway. XD👀

Code of the Hills
Tianshan fanfic, au set in the Ozark region of the U.S.
“Where’s your partner Red?”Guan Shan reigned in his panic a second too late and Click ate it up with a shit eating grin. The pain when it came was delayed, one blessing of being too fucked to walk straight enough if he wanted to. Guan Shan spit a mouth full of blood straight into Click’s leering face. Guan Shan knew his eye would be swollen for a week. If he made it past tonight.
- Warnings: Drug use, violence, dirty cops, lots of cursing, angst -
Read on OA3 for more notes
Guan Shan lapped at the blood pouring from his nose. He couldn’t taste shit, not with his gums numb and Click telling him to take another bump.
“This is Grade A shit Red. Where’d you say you get it from ‘gain?”
Guan Shan took the offered bump – his third in the about fifteen minutes he had been with Click in this fucking dingy-ass laughable excuse for a backroom at the local watering hole. He hadn’t had this much coke in years and it was already fucking with him, just like Click wanted it to.
“Told you being a cop came with perks.” Guan Shan turned and hocked a wad of blood and snot onto the floor.
Click laughed and hit Guan Shan between the shoulder blades with an open-palmed slap that was just north of friendly. “Get this man a whiskey.”
“Did’n think you’d come back te this place Red.”
Guan Shan nodded to the women who proffered him a whiskey and took a gulp.
“Ever the polite man. Sam’s got tits from here to tomorrow and you’re on better behavior than the priest during Sunday service.” Click dropped his voice “Ne’ver believed ‘em but you don’t do yourself no favors Red.”
Guan Shan sucked at his teeth. “Saving myself for Jesus.”
Click burst out into a laughing fit. “Got’ damn Red. You haven’t changed a bit.” He played with the bag of coke idly. “So you got more of this shit?”
“More and then some.” Guan Shan nodded and pulled out a cigarette. He could feel his fingers going unsteady and his words slurring, tongue refusing to cooperate.
Click smiled and it was deadly. “Sure thing Red. Sounds like we have some stuff to talk about. Why don’t you come back with us? We’ll drive you.”
Guan Shan didn’t respond. Just lit his cigarette and let the group of good ‘ol boys half push, half pull him out of the backroom, bantering like old friends, smiling like sharks. He was manhandled out of the bar and into the dark parking lot, shoved into a truck and closed behind the thunk of American steel.

He Tian sat nursing his beer. A tittering group out on a girl’s night tried to grab his attention for a little while but his best sad and broken act had them off and dancing. He was alone with those words playing through his head.
They’re gonna take me to the back. They won’t do anything at the bar so just go in a little while after me. Keep your damn head down. I mean it. No flirting, no stories, no chatting up the locals. No one can remember you were there. You need to be forgettable. Just wait and blend in. They’ll take me to Click’s place.
Follow without them knowing. Shouldn’t be too hard, they’ll be fucked up and won’t be expecting you. Then it’s your call. I don’t know how many there will be. If you can get the situation under control, do it. But if not just leave me. Finding out where this guy is based is more important.
They did come out, just like Guan Shan said. He Tian shrunk as best he could into the corner. Guan Shan’s copper eyes were bloodshot and he was stumbling. The group was rowdy, shoving him with a little too much joy. A cajoling on the sharp edge of vicious. A smear of blood decorated Guan Shan’s upper lip and his pupils were pinpoints.
He Tian waited until they were through the door before slipping out. He caught sight of Guan Shan being shoved into a beater pickup with truck nuts. Gritting his teeth, he willed himself to wait. It wouldn’t do Guan Shan any good to tip them off.
The drive was easy, following the road as it dipped and rose, hemmed in by the thick woods broken only by sudden bursts of sheer white limestone breaking through at odd angles, ragged and proud.
The moon was out and bright enough that He Tian could keep his headlights off and follow at a distance. They drove fast so it was easy to see they were turning when they slowed in a sudden tire-squealing crawl. The sides of their cars brushed the undergrowth creeping over everything.
So this was it. Asscrack of nowhere. Cicadas called out in an unending whine.
-
Guan Shan didn’t even try to catalogue where they were. He was too fucked up and anyways, Click was twitchy in a way that didn’t bode well for Guan Shan’s health.
They turned onto some hidden road and crawled through a winding path before the trucks stopped outside a meth den. The house was probably nice enough at one point. Dogs barked from somewhere and someone was yanking Guan Shan out of his seat. He was manhandled inside past a living room with a flickering TV into the kitchen.
“Feel like home Red?”
Guan Shan grimaced. “Don’t see why you dragged me here for.”
Click laughed. “You can stop playing dumb boy. This is some goodass shit you brought me, so I’ll thank you for that little gift. But there’s no fucking way that’s what you came out here all the way into the goddamn boones for.”
Guan Shan let one of Click’s men pull his arms behind him and zip tie them together by the wrist. He was too tired and sideways feeling. If he was going to get the shit kicked out of him anyways he might as well cooperate enough to prolong the inevitable.
“See’in as you aren’t saying nothing I’m gonna go out on a big-ass limb and say you agree?” Click said.
Guan Shan didn’t respond.
Click grunted out a laugh and kicked a metal chair over to Guan Shan. “Take a seat Red.”
With a hard stare fixed on Click, Guan Shan set his jaw and sat slowly.
“That’s a good boy. I didn’t think you’d go so easy. You’re either a complete dumbass or you have a death wish.” Click turned to the one guy who had followed them in, a big motherfucker bulked up from beers and red meat. “Tape ‘im down.”
The brute grabbed a roll of duct tape off the gritty counter and dutifully taped each leg to a leg of the chair and ran a few around Guan Shan’s chest and the chair back for good measure. The rip of duct tape and a whining light filled a tense silence.
It had been too long since he’d said something, but it was so hard to form words. The world swam and Guan Shan’s heart beat uncomfortably hard in his chest, urged to flutter faster than hummingbird wings by uppers that felt worse than one too many cups of coffee.
Click walked forward and leaned in close, the smell of stale cigarettes hitting Guan Shan’s nostrils like a mule kick to the chest.
“Where’s your partner Red?”
Guan Shan reigned in his panic a second too late and Click ate it up with a shit eating grin.
The pain when it came was delayed, one blessing of being too fucked to walk straight enough if he wanted to. Guan Shan spit a mouth full of blood straight into Click’s learing face. Guan Shan knew his eye would be swollen for a week. If he made it past tonight.
“Oh there it is. There’s our red-headed devil.” Click hacked out a deep laugh that turned into a coughing fit as he wiped the blood off his face with a black paisley handkerchief. Guan Shan glared as best he could and Click just leaned against the counter and lit a cigarette. Silence settled in.
“Bum me a square.” The words came gravely out of Guan Shan’s mouth but he was satisfied that his voice didn’t waver.
Click just laughed again, “I ain’t sitt’en here holding a smoke for you.”
“Gimme another bump then.”
Click’s expression turned sour. “You wanna be high for this Red? You’re a little shit, you know that? ‘Course you know that.” Click leaned forward. “You didn’ think we’d figure out you was with the DEA because you’re,” Click punctuated his words with a well-placed kick, “a dumbass,” another heel kick, the leather of his boots catching the ridges of Guan Shan’s ribs, “‘lil shit.” There was a special type of venom in the last word and the final kick that punctuated it was straight to Guan Shan’s gut.
Whatever was left in Guan Shan’s stomach came up onto the yellowing linoleum floor. The metal chair squealed halfway across the kitchen with the kicks.
Click looked pissed. “You can sing now or later, I don’t give a fuck Red. But we’re gonna get every little bit of information out of your dumb ass about why the fuckin’ DEA is out in the fuckin’ boones bothern’ us good folk.” Click placed his lit cigarette between his lips, nubby yellow crack teeth showing for a moment before he folded his arms and grimaced. “But first we have some other business.”
Click’s gaze flicked up to the mountain of a man that had been idly standing by like he was at a particularly boring church service. Guan Shan’s heart sank.
“Go out there and find ‘im.”
Guan Shan was knee deep into his next lie before he could think about it too hard, stemming panic from working its way in.
“Fuck off Click. I knew you’d be cautious but this is fuck’in overkill. That coke’s real, how’d you think I get it? Ask the DEA all polite-like? Fuck-off man. It’s just you ‘in me and you’re sending Brick House here out there to crash around in the dark chasing after shadows. You’ve been hitt’in the pipe too hard. Melt’n you’re brain and shit.”
Click seemed to consider Guan Shan for a moment and his tall lackey hung between leaving and staying, waiting for the verdict.
“So you admittin’ you’re with the DEA Red?” He took a deep inhale of his cigarette, the cherry lighting up with an audible crackling sound.
“Yeah. How’d you think I get this stuff? We busted couple hundred pounds of the shit I brought you tonight. And no one checks on it after it’s been logged. Everyone in that department is dipp’in into the shit we grab. Usually just for recreational purposes. But I can get you set up with a ‘lil bit here and there. Weed. Crack. Coke. Party pills. We get the big hauls ‘cause we go after the distributors. And there’s extra in it for you if you can give me some tips every once ‘n awhile.”
Guan Shan wasn’t surprised by the fist that connected with his face. He was really gonna look like shit once all this was through.
“You got’ damn motherfucker!” Click fisted his shirt, dragging him and the metal chair forward with a horrendous squeal against the floor.
“Did you just ask me to become an informant for the fucking cops? After everything I’ve done for you Red? Gave you a fuck’in home? Took you in? Then you go dissapear’n and we think you’re dead.” Click was really yelling now, his spit spraying over Guan Shan’s face. “We spilled blood over you Red. And then you show up fifteen-fucking years later looking like the day you disappeared and you have the fuckin’ balls to just think you gonna be welcome back here? You’re dead to us, Red.”
Click turned to mountain man. “Find his fucking partner. He’s lurk’in out there somewhere in the woods.”
“Wait, no, Click I’ll tell you whatever the fuck you want but if he’s out there he’s just look’in for me. He don’ know nothin and it’s not gonna help you much to have to deal with two of us. You’re gon’ have a harder time covern’ up two miss’in people. He ain’t even from around here and you know who they’ll start com’in after first.”
“Oh I know alright,” Click growled and brought his knee up hard into Guan Shan “I know ‘cause you’re here and we seen you come into town.”
Guan Shan was spluttering for breath, gasping, winded as he remembered the fucking truck stop. He Tian kissing him in the beat up Toyota and Guan Shan unwilling to push him off. Static of a station on the radio going in and out and crumpled chip bags crunching as He Tian leaned over the armrest.
Click stilled and Guan Shan lost the thread. Click had flicked open a knife large enough to skin a deer but before Guan Shan could tense the knife was cutting him free from the chair and Click was hauling Guan Shan to his feet.
The knife was back into Click’s pocket before Guan Shan could process what the hell was happening and he shoved roughly out onto the front porch. Moths and June bugs flew through the muggy air outside, circling the porch light. Guan Shan heard the cold click of Click’s gun as he cocked it and pressed the cool metal to the side of Guan Shan’s head.
“Come on out ‘for I splatter your partner’s brains all over my porch.” Click yelled the words into the darkness beyond the porch.
Guan Shan squeezed his eyes shut and grit his teeth. Keep to the plan. Keep to the plan. Start your mother fucking car and get out of here. Get out of here.
His prayers were in vain though. He Tian emerged into the porch light silently, hands up.
It had been quiet, which was good. Most of the group had broken off to go party somewhere or pick up more beer and drugs, obviously bored by having their night of partying cut short. That left Click with another giant of a man inside. Easy. He just had to wait for the right moment to get Guan Shan the fuck out of there.
He Tian made a loop of the house, quietly checking if the back door was unlocked or if any windows were open. The house was locked up but again, it wouldn’t be a problem. He just had to wait for one of them to come out for a smoke or grab something from their car.
It was too risky to just break in. He Tian settled in and listened. His fingers itched for a cigarette. He could hear the muffled voice of Click talking. That was good too. Hopefully that’s all they were doing, talking.
He Tian’s first indication that things had gone south was the sound of metal squealing and Click yelling. Someone grunted and retched, a wet splattering sound punctuated by coughs and gasps. He Tian saw red. Breath. Breath. Stay calm and wait. You’ll put him in more danger if you break in now.
He Tian wanted to move, adrenaline beating a tattoo against his veins. He was shaking with it. He Tian dug his nails against his palm, trying to distract his body from the need to move. It was a beat too late when he noticed things had gone quiet.
The front door burst open and He Tian almost bolted for the assholes right then and there. Guan Shan was a bloody mess, barely able to stand up. His eyes were already swelling, purple bruises forming shapes Rorschach would be proud of. His dark shirt was wet with blood and the thin skin above his eyes was split and still flowing.
But despite how much he wanted to raise his own gun and fill these fuckers with enough lead to down an elephant, he couldn’t take the chance. Not with Click pressing the muzzle of agun into Guan Shan’s bloody temple.
“Come on out ‘for I splatter your partner’s brains all over my porch.”
He Tian walked out with his hands up. Guan Shan made a noise somewhere between anger and despair.
He had one chance at this. One chance before the mountain of a man next to Click got to He Tian, patted him down, took his gun and then hauled He Tian inside to share in a few miserable hours as a punching bag before becoming catfish food.
“There you are pretty boy.”
He Tian showed concern, fear, anxiety. Let them mask his face. Let them make Click think he was safe.
“Din’ think I would have such a fun night! Your partner here is a fuck’in dumbass. That’s it,  nice and slow.”
He Tian kept eye contact and suddenly, with enough slipping to seem real, tripped. And there it was. With the sudden movement Click reacted before thinking, swinging his gun from Guan Shan to He Tian.
The rest was a blur of instinct and a prayer. He Tian rolled and pulled his gun, aimed and fired.
It was over fast. Guan Shan stood stock still, trying not to pull Click one way or the other. It was only after Click slumped down and the mountain man crumpled did Guan Shan realize he was splattered in blood that wasn’t his.
It didn’t matter though because He Tian was there, his hands all over Guan Shan. A quick flick of a knife and Guan Shans hands were free.
“You shouldn’t have done that.”
He Tian didn’t respond, simply went about checking Guan Shan over, pulling his shirt up and grimacing at the damage splayed across Guan Shan’s body, head bowed. Guan Shan could feel He Tian’s hands shaking where they balled up in his shirt.
“Hey, hey, come on. Let’s get out of here.”
He Tian’s jaw clenched. “You said they wouldn’t do anything.”
“Well I might have under calculated a few things.”
“A few–” He Tian shuddered, cutting himself off and Guan Shan’s world swooped for a second as He Tian swung him into a bridal carry headed for the car.
“I can carry myself, hey!” He Tian had Guan Shan in the car and was around and in the driver’s seat in one swift motion. It started up on the first try and He Tian was peeling out of the gravel lot and hurtling down the dirt road.
“Whoah, whoah, He Tian, where’s the fire? Slow the fuck down, we still gotta stay low.”
He Tian slammed the car to the stop. His knuckles were white around the steering wheel.
“Is it your first time? You know, doing that.” The words came out as a raspy wheeze and Guan Shan winced. He definitely had a cracked rib.
“Yes, sweetheart, it’s my first time dragging you as a bloody pulp out from a meth house where two motherfucking shit stains were ready to carve you up for entertainment.”
Guan Shan didn’t know why he suddenly felt like fighting but he dug his heels in. “It was our only way in, and now we know Click’s not the one who’s been mixing up the fake pain pills that have been killin’ people.”
A muscle jumped in He Tian’s jaw. The truck lurched forward. “We’re going to the hospital.”
“No we fuckin’ ain’t! Get your head on straight, He Tian, we’ve got a good half hour before the rest of Click’s ‘lil possy comes back from wherever they’ve been gettin fucked up, finds two cold bodies in the dirt and finds me not there and puts two an’ two together.” Guan Shan reached for the cigarettes He Tian kept in the cup holder. “What we’re doin’ is going back to our hotel, packin’ up our shit fast as we can, gettin’ back in this truck and driving as far away from this god forsaken place as we can.”
He Tian didn’t respond. Muggy summer air whipped around them through the open windows.
They rolled into town and Guan Shan relaxed when He Tian turned towards the motel.
“Stay here.” He Tian was out of the truck and headed into the motel before Guan Shan could say anything. He slumped into the seat and lit another cigarette.
Back on the road, orange street lights blurred by as He Tian pushed 100 down the highway. Guan Shan was crashing hard, his whole body ached and he knew tomorrow would be worse. He lit another cigarette, too tired to do anything else, too wired to sleep.
“You’re quitting this case.” He Tian’s voice barely rose above the hum of the car hurtling down the highway.
“I’m not talkin’ ‘bout this right now.”
“They could of killed you.”
“Yeah, and they coulda killed you too. I told you this isn’t like the city. The hills have their own code and these people live by it. Ain’t anyone coming to help hill folk.”
He Tian snagged the pack of cigarettes, depositing them out of reach in his car door. “So you’ve got to, is that it?”
Guan Shan grunted. “I don’t know He Tian. I just know people are dying and I have connections here and I’m gonna use them so we can stop the son of a bitch who’s been poisoning people.”
The cover of night slipped from around them, the first hints of dawn lightening the sky.
Guan Shan was somewhere between waking and fever dreams when He Tian spoke again.
“So what’s our next move.”
Guan Shan cracked his left eye open, the right one was too swollen to see out of.
“You’re sticking along with this thing? You ‘don seem like you like it much.”
He Tian snorted as though it was obvious. “I just killed two men, Guan Shan, I should think it’s obvious that I’m in this thing.”
Guan Shan closed his eye and hummed. “We’re headed in deep then, to a place where the rest of the world doesn’t exist. Where we’ll be alone. You ready for that?”
“Lead the way Red.”
