Honestly one thing that has been bugging me is when people say that Rayla didn't need to leave in the Through the Moon. Like I think its really important that she left cause it's meant to show Rayla at a really emotional low after all the paranoia and self doubt that's been culminating.
She didn't need to leave, and that's the point. It's meant to be self destructive for her to leave. People do really hurtful things when they feel depressed, to themselves and others. We as an audience may see Rayla's actions through reasonable eyes and understand that her leaving is only detrimental- but Rayla doesn't because she's in a genuinely traumatizing situation and can't rationalize as well.
If something had come out of her leaving, it would ruin the point. Nothing should have benefited her from leaving cause it'd otherwise reinforce to her that self destruction and isolation from people she loves is beneficial. And it shouldn't. Her leaving was ultimately necessary to her character because it finally makes her face actual consequences for being self destructive because no longer is she the only one being hurt by them, they hurt Callum. And that I believe, is the way to actually make her character progress and stop her from being so self sacrificial.
BLOODMOON'S LAST WORDS WERE KINDA HUGE TO ME. Like it can absolutely be interpreted just as Bloodmoon saying "fuck you fuck everyone we'd never side with you all and stop killing, even if it would be the best thing in the world" but what I personally gathered from it is that Bloodmoon woulda been fine with any "redemption" outcome as long as they weren't restricted from killing.
They didn't wanted to be "saved" and "redeemed" because they were totally fine with how they were living and they'd already found ways to work with their code and each other, they already felt safe and happy. Like, yea them killing people is fucked up, but you can't ask the robot called Bloodmoon to never know the taste of iron on their tongue again. They were built for that, they were built to love meat and gore and viscera!!
So, to me, his last words read more a confession that Bloodmoon can switch to the "good" side, they could absolutely work alongside the celestial family and foxy and monty and so on, but it's unfair to ask them to betray their very base coding and completely stop murdering for the rest of their life. Once again, I am HEARTILY proposing that someone just let them hunt game bc they were CLEARLY okay with setting on fish a few episodes ago.

Cringetober 2023 prompt 9 is a bit late cause of school stuff. Anyways, if I had a nickel for every time there was a video game with an AI who’s involved in running morally questionable at best decisions for science I’d have two nickels and the crossover ship of the decade.
Tdp s4 is coming and here's a little animation for Rayla and Callum that I can't fully finish :’)
.
Pls don't repost, I'm too lazy to add the watermark + it's unfinished work(depending on how the story will go in the s4, I might come back to finish it)
