Hatched under a red moon and paler than her kin, Kikital'nak was seen as a bad omen. Elders cast divination rituals and said her songs would be written in blood.
Despite readings, the village wasn't cruel. They were all pacifists, but she wasn't included in much. Fed and raised by the oldest village elder since no one would claim her. Thought to play music and sing like everyone else but, Kiki was never invited to sing in the village chorus or asked to attend the festivals. Whenever she tried to sing or play along, everyone else fell silent. They wouldn't scold her or curse her. She just would just wait for her to stop before they picked back up their own songs. Playing her viol and watching from afar, she didn't hate them, but she couldn't stand the isolation either. It's not like it was her fault when she was born.
She could feel it, though little urges almost voices in the back of her head, urging her to lash out, to make them see her. To crush them so they could never sing again. Kiki did not want to listen to the violence. These people raised her, in isolation and silence, but she was healthy and cared for. So, as soon as she molted into her adult form, she packed her things and left the village for their own protection. No one said goodbye, but she later found a small brooch tucked in her things, a gift for coming of age from the village elder. No note, but it was still something.
Leaving her island home in the Eastern Sea, Kiki ends up traveling with a young elven rogue named Leolar Gempath. Leo saw potential in her ability to blend in and decided to teach her the trade, and she helped him with his heists. It was interesting and thrilling work. However, their last job went sideways, and Kiki is on the run from some asshole noble. Apparently, his eldest son was murdered during the job, and it wasn't Kiki. Leo wasn't at the randevu point, but the guards were. She didn't even get her cut of the score.
Space seems like the perfect place to lie low for a while.

Theron Dekrel
Type: NPC
Aliases: N/A
Pronouns: He/Him
Race: Thri-Kreen
Home: Somewhere in Inferous
Age: Unknown
Class: Paladin - Ancients Oath
Job: Time Manager (TGEE), Arch Deacon (Cult of Greshnel)
Loyalty: TGEE (supposedly), Cult of Greshnel (reality)
Alignment: LE
Height: 5'4
Personality: Scatterbrained and genuine to the organization; charismatic, shrewd, and calculating within the cult.
Status: Alive, Not Loyal
Strategy: N/A
Tidbits:
Was once loyal to TGEE but has since been persuaded to join and later lead the CoG. He might be convinced to return his loyalty to TGEE, but the likelihood of anyone succeeding is slim.
Most that join the cult lack family or a feeling of purpose, but not all. Theron has a sister back home, but they lost touch after a few years of his promotion to Manager.
Every dozen or so events, he makes a calculated "mistake." There can only be so many disruptions to Events before reality starts to unravel. He must be careful so the other Managers don't catch on. Mistakes happen, obviously, but too many would turn Pearl's and Digi's suspicions on him.
He's the one who recruited Dorian to the organization, and then later convinced him to join the CoG.
Has a fondness for the human candy Peeps.
