With Eman Esfandi being cast as the Live Action Ezra Bridger, it got me thinking.
In my mind Ezra is with the Chiss Ascendancy in their war against the Grysks, and Ezra’s most iconic force ability is beast taming so my brain naturally concluded:
Csillan War-Mount Creature!
Tumblr media
So yeah here’s Ezra’s pet/war mount, a gigantic 4-eyed stoat combined with a snow leopard/ sabertooth cat/ polar bear. A Snow Stoat-Leopard… A Stoatpard.
Tumblr media
Until a canon word appears her name will be Sh’uaks’ha, aka ‘White’ in Cheunh according to me. (Kit Sh’uaks’ha - top right)

Look who just woke up- is that NATASHA LIU-BORDIZZO? No, I must have been mistaken, that’s SABINE WREN from STAR WARS: REBELS. I heard they are 28 and stuck here just like everyone else. Even in the 20’s, they still give off a LEAVING SPRAY PAINTED ITEMS AROUND THE SHIP FOR THE CREW, ACTING TOUGH SO NOBODY CAN SEE HOW BROKEN SHE TRULY IS, ALWAYS KEEPING EXPLOSIVES AROUND TO THROW AT THE BAD GUYS, STRUGGLING FOR A LONG TIME TO ADMIT THAT HER FAMILY FAILED HER, PICKS UP ON LANGUAGES QUICKLY IN ORDER TO INTERACT WITH THE PEOPLE SHE HELPS impression. In Sydney, they are working as a ARTIST. They’re known to be quite CARING & SELFLESS, but have a tendency to be CLOSED-OFF & SASSY on their bad days.
Gender/Pronouns : Cis-Female and she/her
How long have they been in Sydney : Sabine has been in Sydney for about 4 years now in real time, but all her life in fake life.
Which suburb do they live in?: She lives in Kings Cross!
Personality description (in your own words): When you first meet Sabine, she can be rough around the edges, it would take her a good while before she actually trusted someone after what her parents did, but once that had been resolved, through her healing process, she has become a tiny bit more open to people around her, that however, didn’t stop her from being rough with someone, jokingly teasing them or something, but that usually meant that she cares. What most people don’t expect at first glance is how genuinely kind and good she is, she’s selfless alongside the rest of the rebel crew and is happy to offer a helping hand especially when they were going up against the Empire, she even admitted that she had left her family in order to protect them after everything. Once she cares about someone, it’s for life.
Memories of their real life: Born and Raised in both Mandalore and Krownest, Sabine belonged to Clan Wren, her mother, Ursa and father, Alrich were a part of House Vizla as well so growing up, she watched her mother and father fight for their home and clan, so naturally with how inspired she was, she went on to join the Imperial Academy in order to help out, whilst completely unaware of how truly bad the Empire was at that time. Her main job there was creating and building weapons, one of them being ‘The Duchess’ which turned anyone that wore Mandalorian Armor into dust, at that time however, she didn’t know that the Empire would test it out and use it as a threat for her people, so once she did find out about those said plans, she sabotaged them and destroyed the original machine so that they couldn’t use it to hurt anyone she knew or loved. (This comes back to bite her later, but it works out). After leaving the Academy, she had hoped that her family would be on her side, but they chose the Empire and emotionally destroyed her world so, she left and ended up working as a bounty hunter for some time with someone she would later on consider as a sister. History can repeat itself though because one disastrous situation separated the two and her ‘sister’ was fine with leaving Sabine for dead, so throughout that brief time of survival, she met Hera, Kanan, and Zeb, and joined them on the Ghost, with Ezra coming to join them shortly after. Throughout their adventures, Sabine went undercover, fought the Empire alongside her found family, obtained and learned how to sword fight with a powerful Mandalorian weapon called the Darksaber, and even managed to reconcile with her family. After all of that chaos, during a fight with the Empire in order to get them out of Ezra’s home planet Lothal, she helped cause a distraction for Ezra to escape from their group and meet alone with Thrawn, unfortunately, that same meeting ended with Ezra essentially sacrificing himself alongside Thrawn where they are now in the unknown regions of space, so with a statement that Ezra had told her prior to his sacrifice and said again in a hologram he had pre-recorded, Sabine took it to heart and at first, watched over his home planet, but later, went on to try and locate him alongside Ahsoka, in the hopes of bringing him home.
What was their fake life like : TBD
Optional, please pick at least three and interpret them however you wish ::
Label: The Broken Bird
Theme Song: Healing by Fletcher
Personality Type: ISFP

I'm all for the Ezra and Thrawn space adventures but imagine if Ezra just went full Anakin Skywalker on him and killed Thrawn after they landed. Like no Kenobi-like banter no extended version of the Zeb and Kallus moon episode just murder and that's that.
Instead he befriends like a group of surviving stormtroopers and gets to know their names and families and dreams and they all help each other survive through the Unknown regions and Ezra doesn't blame them for anything because he knows they were just doing their job and he trains them to shoot better and they comfort him over the (temporary) loss of his family but eventually when Ahsoka and Sabine find Ezra it's like he's got his own mini clonetrooper squad and a new addition to his family

What are your thoughts on Ezra (Survived on his own but in a city where he could just dig through the dumpsters to find food if needed) and Thrawn (Who also lived on his own but had all his food chosen for him to grow and prepared for him) having to survive on their own in the Unknown Regions together?
I don't even know where to begin, lol.
The great thing about the whole Adventures In Wild Space With Ezra And Thrawn concept is that it can encompass such a wide variety of genres and scenarios. Like, does it become a buddy comedy survival trip? An enemies to allies drama? How pissed off is Thrawn exactly? How much pain can we put Ezra through? It really all depends on what flavor you want. And I love both the humor crack and the drama fics.
Between the two of them they definitely have the skills to survive. As to the level of cooperation between them, I do think they would become reluctant allies eventually. I can't see them ever becoming friends or true allies but I do think they'd develop a begrudging respect for each other.
Not enough for Ezra to tag along back with Thrawn to Chiss space of his own volition though, the Grysk are just not at all convincing to me as an outside threat worse than the Empire. I don't see Ezra buying that. And I actually want Thrawn to have to answer for his actions while under the Empire so I'm not fond of him getting to faff back off to the Ascendancy like nothing happened. I feel like Ezra would want the same.
I think my favorite Wild Space Shenanigans scenario is the one where it's either just the two of them, or a very reduced crew, with them having to rely on Ezra to help them survive. Anything that lets Ezra get to annoy and roast the absolute shit out of Thrawn and cause him no small amount of headaches lol.
(I'd be lying if I said I wasn't amenable to more angsty, dramatic scanarios tho.)

far from the world that i made
When the war against the Empire is over, Sabine and Ahsoka begin their journey to locate Ezra. They don’t have much of a destination in mind, but Ahsoka knows the Force will guide them where they need to go. At the same time, in the Chiss Ascendancy, Eli receives an important message from one of the Navigators: Thrawn will return, and Eli should be there to meet him. Their paths collide in the Unknown regions, where they are forced to work together to plot a course based on a hunch and a hope. Sabine has to set aside her reservations about working with a former Imperial and aide to Thrawn, while Eli has to come to terms with the fact that he’s trying very hard to save someone who ruined their lives.

The war ends with a wedding.
Officially, on paper, it ended a few months ago — after the battle of Jakku, when the treaties were signed. Unofficially, small pockets continue to bubble and burst beneath the surface of the New Republic. But to the crew of the Ghost and their coterie of hangers-on, the war ends with Zeb and Kallus’ wedding on Lothal.
It’s a small ceremony. With Hera freshly home from the battlefield and Jacen once again in her arms. With Rex, taking the time away from the familiar rush and tumble of one battle after another. With Governor Azadi, who presides because it’s his home and he wanted to honor the people who saved it. With Ketsu, who still hasn’t decided if she wants to take Sabine up on her offer or not.
And Sabine, who didn’t have the heart to ask them to wait until their family was whole again. Especially when she didn’t know how long it would take.
So they celebrate together, what bits of their family can make it. The absences of Ezra and Kanan still ache like a missing limb, even five years down the line. But it is worn and familiar. And not even that is enough to bring down the spirits of the wedding party as they get ready for the next stage.
The end of the war and the beginning of a new life for all of them.

Soooooo... since we all know there are many parallells between Ahsoka and Gandalf (your edit was incredible btw <3), how do you think her journey will continue, if filoni continues to draw inspiration from lotr??? :)
glad you liked the edit <3
ok i’m gonna first preface this post with saying that i think star wars rarely takes full advantage of its potentially great ideas, and the times when it does are completely unpredictable. so really, this is all speculation and personal interpretation that I don’t even expect to happen, so temper your expectations too l m a o.
Like Gandalf’s battle with the Balrog, Ahsoka’s battle with Vader results in a death of sorts for her. The cut conversation between Bendu and Ahsoka predicts Ahsoka experiencing a great change as a result of confronting Vader, one that Ahsoka assumes will be her literal death. However, Bendu’s non-answer suggests it’s not a literal death, but a metaphorical death. Everything Ahsoka assumed about her past life, past decisions, and her relationship with Anakin is turned upside down by the big revelation. Hence, Ahsoka experiences a “death” through this massive reckoning of everything she took for granted. It’s the death of her old worldview, her previously held truths and beliefs, and her idealized image of Anakin.
While Gandalf literally dies in order to be resurrected as Gandalf the White, I believe Ahsoka must instead experience a metaphorical resurrection in order to become Ahsoka the White. Ultimately, that’s fancy talk for me saying that I think Ahsoka’s next steps in her character arc are resolving her deep-seated guilt and trauma over Anakin, and rediscovering her purpose in the galaxy. Rebels showed that Vader's true identity left Ahsoka feeling lost and confused about herself, and resolving those feelings will allow her to progress and transform into someone wiser and more enlightened than before.
I think it’s also possible that this internal journey could be paralleled with a journey of gaining external knowledge about the Force, such as World Between Worlds lore shenanigans. I would guess that’s what Filoni’s Topps card illustrations are getting at, and the WBW does seem to evoke Gandalf’s own journey after his death and before his resurrection:
I strayed out of thought and time, and I wandered far on roads that I will not tell.
There I lay staring upward, while the stars wheeled over, and each day was as long as a life-age of the earth. Faint to my ears came the gathered rumour of all lands: the springing and the dying, the song and the weeping, and the slow everlasting groan of overburdened stone.
Of course, Ahsoka has already “strayed out of time” via Ezra’s intervention, but I wonder if she might undertake a more prolonged adventures in the WBW to achieve the wisdom needed to become Ahsoka the White.
If I’m putting my faith into Filoni’s writing, I would hazard a guess the Ahsoka limited series will attempt to cover at least some of these ideas to bridge her appearance in The Mandalorian (where she seems to still be pretty hung up on Anakin’s fall) to her appearance in the Rebels epilogue.
In line with that, my current tinhat theory is that the Cinematic Crossover Event™ will result in the New Republic officially sanctioning Ahsoka and Sabine’s mission into the Unknown Regions to search for and investigate the Chiss/Ezra/Thrawn, leading us to the mythical and long-awaited entity known as the Animated Rebels Sequel 🤡🤡
As an aside, this is also why the Rebels epilogue possibly taking place after The Mandalorian frustrates me, because 1) I expected this kind of journey to take place during her time on Malachor and the OT timeline, and 2) I’m annoyed that the search for Ezra is looking like it takes at least a decade to actually happen in-universe.

Continuing in my Ascendancy Knight Ezra agenda may I present my angsty HC: Amputee Ezra that lost his leg in the war against the Grysks, probably whilst saving some Chiss sky-walkers.
Most prosthetics in Star Wars tend to proportionally mimic real limbs versus what we see irl so I combined the sci-fi leg with the blade designs that can interchange depending on the situation.
A. Leg mode: Walking and climbing, mimicking the proportions of a real leg he can wear pants and shoes that disguise the prosthetic. He tends to use it in civilian and undercover settings.
B. Blade mode: Running and usually the mode he uses in combat as it adds speed and agility that the other mode lacks. Also means that one missing sock eaten by the dryer isn’t a problem.

The second is an unfinished WIP of knight Ezra and Vah’nya from the thrawn novels in a blizzard. I started this aaaaaages ago, so I’m posting it now.

Started posting my Thrawn in the Unknown Regions, Post-Rebels fic! Starring a very tired Pellaeon, a gremlin Ezra, and of course, the Blue Man Himself.
It's up to chapter 2, and I'm planning to post new chapters on Tuesdays or Wednesdays after Ahsoka, or just Tuesdays or Wednesdays once that's finished coming out. I might make some edits as my beta readers send me comments, but I just couldn't wait :)
This is NOT Ahsoka compliant; I plotted and wrote it before the show came out, so it's purely Rebels and books based, including Legends!
Summary: Stranded in the depths of the Unknown Regions, Thrawn and the Chimaera are slowly limping their way home. But they may find that the journey takes longer than expected, as old enemies have their own plans for the region… and even Imperials may find it hard to turn their backs on new friends.

Hello 😊
For the Star Wars asks:
9, 14, 18, 38
Hello there!
#9 Hmmmm. My answer changes every time I read this question. Today I think it would be uuuuh... deep fried Nuna drumsticks. #14 This is so hard. I love the imperfections. I would change that Earth doesn't exist in it. Give humans a homeworld. Maybe we would get out of everyone else's hair and leave the galaxy in peace.
#18 hard to say since I never remember a time without it. I was 3 when I saw ROTJ in the theaters. I think it is my earliest memory, clear as day. So it is kind of difficult to twease it out of the entire fabric of my life. It has been thoroughly woven in since the beginning.
#38 I have a few! All Thrawn stories on AO3.
"Unknown Regions" by systemic_dreams on AO3 is brilliantly written story of Ezra and Thrawn after Lothal. The author has taken a break from writing it due to life, but despite it being unfinished it is probably my favorite fanfic ever. "Last Known Trajectory" by alizrak is the ultimate in Ezra Thrawn space adventures and gives almost everyone something to enjoy. It also has illustraitons!
If you like a bit of spicy sexy times (adult and explicit sexual stories) then "A Dealer in Hope" by ap_trash_compactor is that and more. It is a Thryce fic, and while that pairing is not my bag it is so good I must reccommend. It is more than a smut filled story, it is truly compelling. It's powerfully written. Everyone is written with nuance and depth, and I haven't see any of these charachters the same ever agian. Unfortunately there is an aburpt ending as I think the author may have abandoned it. Which sucks because it is amazing.
And maybe you may enjoy some light romance with any of my stories!

Post-Rebels/Live Action Thrawn Theory
So I read all of the Heir to the Empire trilogy over the Christmas break and, combined with certain things going on in The Mandalorian, it gave me a sudden burst of inspiration regarding what might happen with a potential future live-action Thrawn appearance. SPOILERS for The Mandalorian, Star Wars Rebels and basically every Thrawn book under the cut.
New!Thrawn is going to bring back the Clone Wars just like EU!Thrawn almost did, but he’s going to use droids instead of clones!      Unlike during the Clone Wars, there are a single-digit number of Jedi left so a suitably large force of droids is much less destructible, and more importantly, they can’t die in the vacuum of space like most of the 7th Fleet crew potentially did post-Rebels. This is the main motivating factor behind such a move, as Thrawn typically values the ingenuity of his officers and encourages their development - not typically a good starting stance for a droid army.     Droids also shouldn’t go around bungling direct orders and messing things up for him as wilful Imperials like Pryce and Skerris did - there’s been 20/30 years of advancement since the Clone Wars ended, I think he can come up with something smarter than the basic Battle Droids - and The Mandalorian’s already been showing that with the Dark Troopers. There was also an imperial droid with Thrawn’s 7th Fleet symbol on it which appeared briefly in S2, which shows he’s definitely using droids for something in canon already!     ‘Ruhk’ was the security shut-off for his assassin droids in Rebels, which also look just like the Dark Troopers (They may be a canonical precursor?) and so they are what will eventually kill Thrawn in the new timeline. The real Ruhk died in Rebels (We didn’t see a corpse but I think it’s reasonable to say he’s not coming back from that) so something else has to kill him this time around, and with the original S3 reference, that would be thematic.      During Thrawn: Alliances, he also saw the Cortosis plant and plans, where Palpatine and the CIS were manufacturing blaster and lightsaber-proof Super Battle Droids and Clone armour - which would let him make near-indestructible shock troops, if he can find any more materials. (I always found it odd he didn’t steal some of the cortosis or the plans along with the shield generator he was after - surely that was also a useful piece of tech, so bringing it back now would close up that logic gap.)     Most importantly, droids would presumably be immune to the Grysk’s tactics of threatening or subverting planetary cultures, making them a perfect counter to the Grysk and a major asset to Thrawn’s priorities in attempting to save the Chiss Ascendancy in the Unknown Regions, which has always been his primary motivating factor in New Canon.     This does all hinge on the idea of us getting a fairly ‘dark’ Thrawn in any potential live-action appearances, one more influenced by his original EU character than Zahn’s latest books, where he’s been almost a lighter shade of grey at times. As stated above, I think that transformation can be achieved by taking a ‘bad end’ spin on Rebels where he loses the fleet almost entirely - providing motivation for him to start developing a new fleet of soldiers and officers who strictly speaking, can’t die.     From there, the potential Grysk resistance, Cortosis bonuses and perfect loyalty of a driod-based army multiply the ‘benefits’, and gradually he gets darker and loses the humanity, for want of a better term, that he originally had. Out-of-universe, the story can culminate with the irony of ‘Ruhk’s’ return, such as it is, as his assassin, providing more links back to the EU classic.     Personally I would much rather get the fandom’s beloved ‘Thrawn and Ezra’s Buddy Cop Unknown Regions Adventure’ - but that is almost certainly only an option if we get ‘Rebels 2′ as an animated series.     With the hints The Mandalorian’s been dropping, for better or for worse, I think they’re going to bring Thrawn into the live-action canon instead. Given the enduring popularity of his EU appearance I fully expect that if this happens, they’ll bring him in as a full-bore antagonist once again. I reckon it’ll be a cold and implacable Grand Admiral Thrawn at the head of a vicious army of Dark Trooper-esque droids who ends up confronting us on our screens!
