I present (🎁) the character relationship chart from the first official fanbook! Big thanks to Pancake from the Kyuushi Discord server for the scans 🫶
The translation, cleaning, and typesetting were all done by me so please forgive any messiness & mistakes. But I'm always very open to feedback so feel free to reach out, especially if you notice tl issues!

I'm also not really knowledgeable about that stuff to begin with so I'm not sure what kind of format would be best for screen readers or other accessibility aids. If anyone else would like to take up the mantle and create a text version, please message me!

Translation Notes:
Mippiki: Written "３人と１匹" but read as "みっぴき," this word is very important to the Kyuushi fandom! It describes the main characters living in the office- Rona, Draluc, Hinaichi, and John. "Mi" comes from 3 and "ippiki" is how you would count 1 small animal, an armadillo in this case.
Sagyou's "hah? to respect ratio": The "hah?" here is like an exasperated sound he's making. In Japanese it was one of these babies: ぁ゙. So his frustration to respect ratio is 9 to 1.
Calling someone a typhoon/hurricane: I think this is probably self explanatory but since I don't think this is a common expression in English, I'll explain a bit. Basically it's likening someone to the chaos and power of a storm.
Shot's "filthy cool": In Japanese this is "ヨゴレかっこいい." I can't find instances of this phrase being used outside of Kyuushi so this seems to be a Bonnoki original? I've seen others tl this some different ways but I tried to make it sound kinda cool in English, though it also kinda makes no sense lol, sorry.
Tabiko being in the "vampires" section: Just in case anyone is confused, Tabiko is definitely a human. I think there just wasn't space to stick her anywhere else.
Manner calling Satetsu "big bro": "兄イ" in Japanese. I think most people recognize words like "onii-san" and "aniki" at this point but I'm not sure about just "anii" (also big brother) so I decided to tl it here. As you may have guessed, this is not him literally trying to adopt Satetsu as his brother, but rather a term of respect (albeit a teasing one). Satetsu is uncomfortable being called this, mostly because it reminds him of his embarrassing delinquent past.
Nagiri's nickname for John: I chose to keep this as "Maru" ("丸," literally "circle") just because I think it sounds like a cute nickname lol.
Fiasco calling Manner "spoiled rich boy": Originally "ボンボン" in Japanese. You might have heard a character called "bon" or even this kinda insulting version, "bonbon," before. It describes a young man from a rich family. I added "spoiled" because I thought it sounded too much like a complement just to call him "genius rich boy," even with "damn" in front 😂
Nuyan: John's "nu" combined with a dog's "wan" (bark). Remember that time Yomo hypnotized John into acting like a dog? That John never fully recovered from? Yeah.

Kyuushi has a ton of characters and they can be difficult to keep track of, especially for the English fandom which doesn't have access to all the materials.

Actually, I don't have a specific request, just an idea: Dreamwalker interacting with the reader acting as a "sleeping beauty". Maybe it could be a very very short oneshot with scene where Luchino wakes up the reader with a kiss or few hcs where Luchino sends the sleeping reader good dreams, warding off nightmares or smth like that

one of the first things that came to mind here were the notsnitsa (nochnitsa), evil spirits from slavic mythology that torment the sleeper by sitting on their chest, drawing out their life energy
i'd consider dream walker an anti-hero, maybe not even a hero at all. all he does is roam people's dreams, be they nightmares or heavens, that's why he's armed in the first place!
the exact reason why he roams the dream sphere is unknown to him. at one unspecified point in his (now) immortal life he sensed a calling to slay the horrors concocted by the human consciousness when it's off the leash of sanity, and for him, that's when his actual life started
once he finishes exploring, he bottles up the dream inside a glass container, ridding the person of it and their memories of it for the night, adding them to his already big collection. during his free time, he rewinds the dreams and watches the unique dream world unfold inside the container like an ecosystem, bursting with life that, sadly, isn't real nor logical
the way he enters a dream is quite simple. since he's not active nor visible to mortals in the daylight, the moment the clock strikes for midnight he enters the chosen one's bedroom through the window, crawls to their bed and inches his own face closer and closer to the victim's, merging their minds, perceptions and senses together
he, in fact, never considered the act to be something possibly intimate or even loving, and he hardly paid any attention at what the person he's possessing looks like anyway. for him, the beauty does not lie in the shell of the human body, but rather in the roamings of their stray mind, their deepest and darkest desires unveiling when their owner is already asleep
but maybe, just maybe... there's something more beyond the boundaries that he's familiar with.
however, he can't say that he lacks empathy. maybe just doesn't lack it completely. when he feels them squirming or beads of sweat forming on somebody's forehead under his coarse palms he sighs and something in him just clicks, and without thinking he wipes their sweat and pressed his cheek to theirs instead, gently holding them until the threat subsides enough for him to deal with it
you found yourself directly facing - or not - the dream walker once. or twice. or was it maybe thrice? every single time it felt new, the eyes under the cap shining in a new, unknown way to you and that bioluminescence of his illuminating his face from a different direction during every encounter.
it felt like you were paralyzed, unable to move, unable to dream, completely aware of the layout of your dark room, although you knew your eyelids were tightly shut. in the blink of an eye your window flung open and, barely making a sound, a monster at first sight entered your room, anchoring itself on the footboard of your bed. it was like thousands of fireflies clustered around his body, his eyes shining brightly like two beams, directed right at your sweating face.
despite it's appearance, it did not talk, it did not roar, not even hiss. from its mouth only an occassional deep breath was heard, and motionlessly it sat there - looking at you for what seemed to be tens of minutes. it - or he - had a seemingly puzzled expression on his face, trying to get at something. after rubbing his face a few times and averting his gaze in embarrassment, you figured he wasn't sure why he was doing so, either.
it got off the bed, creeping to the side of your bed, crouching down so he was face-to-face with you. he even tilted his head, maybe out of curiosity, maybe to mimic the position of your head. your heart was beating so hard you swore you could end up breathless, and cold sweat showered you, but at the same time you felt no fear. as if you have already gotten over the shock of this stranger in your room. it stemmed from something else, which for now you couldn't feel, your body reacting to it automatically
by now you could feel his breath on your forehead. his claw went for your soaked cheeks, brushing the sweat off with as much care as possible. before you could even think it through, he grasped your face with his hands, one hand below your chin, the other on the top of your head, and brought it closer to his. his scaly face was cold to the touch, like pressing your face against a frostbitten hand. your mind slowly went foggy afterwards. what you saw before your eyes were spots of gray and white, clustered like clouds. with a guilty look on his face, he moved away after a while - your vision now back to normal - as if he was contemplating if he should stay or not.
for a moment he returned - reaching for your face with his own again, but this time, quickly pressing his closed mouth on the spot where your nose meets the forehead, seemingly trying to give you some sort of a blessing. retracting away as if had committed a crime, a glass bottle in his firmly clenched hand, he backed out of your room - the window perfectly shut as if nothing happened.
he became a frequent guest, leaving with a differently colored bottle every time you saw him, and when you weren't able to see, you sensed his presence around you, that magical aura of his. the scent of rainy forests with a soft hint of blackcurrant, always unleashing a pleasant cold feeling beneath your skin under all those heavy blankets. sometimes his lips rested longer on your temples, and a few times he even unbuttoned the first button of your shirt, letting you cool down faster after what you discovered was a reaction to a nightmare. and when you didn't hear him pacing around your bed, you could sense his gaze hyperfocused on your face from the usual spot he was perched on.
the following mornings were always odd, your limbs numb and mysterious marks scattered across your arms and sides. nevermind the effects on your body, your head never hurt and your mind was clear, not a single nightmare or problem troubling you upon waking up.
you weren't sure why or what exactly was he doing - but you found yourself excitedly waiting for his return, wandering to sleep without any troubles.
the next time i see him, you thought to yourself, i'm going to be the one reaching for his face. and every time it was him going in first, and every time, it seemed like he stayed an hour longer than before, looking out for you in the dead of night. troubled with what he didn't know were potention feelings, puzzled by questions with no answers, he looked back at your serene state, and swore he'll find out as soon as possible. and until then... he might as well make you his.
this last sentence was a bit corny im sorry guys im writing thus half asleep

Behind your back, they exchange glares, silently arguing about what the hell is happening. This was kicked-in-the-damn-balls ridiculous.
"Thanks again for helping with the fundraiser. I know you both have other things to do, but y'know, having the football co-captains be the face of a kissing booth is bound to bring in more people."
"Right," is all Jake manages, but Johnny is quick to swoop in. "No problem, babe, I still owe you for those exam notes."
Jake bites back a scowl, and counteracts by wrapping an arm around your shoulders, tugging you close. "Are you going to be one of our customers today?"
"Oh, I don't know..." You answer, looking anywhere but the six-foot tall men crowding you. "I don't want to make things weird."
"It won't be." They can’t seem to stop saying things at the same fucking time.
"C'mon, it's for charity. Do you want all the vulnerable animals to… uh, get upset?”
Jake was a dumbass, and Johnny has never been more thankful for that. He leans down, a smirk set on his face.
"You want all of them to be packed into overcrowded shelters? And get sick? I didn't peg you to be a puppy and kitten hater.”

(sorry this is two days late ive been very lacking on spoons BUT) this has truly been one of my favorite years ever.
i started this blog because i had so much love for deacon railroad rattling around in here and i didnt know how to contain it. i'd finally finished atom bomb baby after months of work and i was desperate to share it and get other deacon girlies' opinions on how i did, but after i made this blog, i still chickened out of posting it for almost two weeks. i lurked and scrolled until i finally got the courage... and the rest is history. i thought my playlist was going to be My Only Thing. i would post it and never be heard from again.

I normally just lurk and read other people's MILGRAM theories while keeping my own thoughts to myself but 😭 Kazui's new song just has my gears turning so much I have to share my opinion......
Between this song and the new voice drama, I think the 'Kazui is gay' theory could have way more credence than I thought.
I think that Kazui pursued his relationship with his wife out of a desire to be 'normal.' When he presents the bouquet and ring to her, the lyrics are: 'it's for the sake of true love / who wouldn't lie for that?' He lied out of a desire for normalcy. Society says that if we conform, fall in love and get married, then we'll be 'happy.' To me, it's likely that he noticed his wife-to-be's feelings for him, and decided to pursue the relationship out of a desire to appear normal, please the people around him-- and perhaps hopefully attain happiness through conformity.
I'm not 100% sure if Kazui actually cheated or not-- maybe it was an emotional affair? Either way, he probably at the very least confessed his 'lie' to his wife-- namely, that he's gay. Did he physically cheat? I'm not sure about that yet. But he definitely did drop the 'masquerade' (his faking being straight), and that broke his wife's heart. Her marriage was built on a heap of lies, and even if Kazui did love her platonically, that still doesn't erase the heartbreak and humiliation that comes with knowing you were basically being unknowingly used as a beard by someone who you loved dearly-- someone who you assumed loved you back.
Oh, right-- another slice of evidence from the voice drama. While talking to Es, Kazui has a mini freak-out. During this, he says:
'I despise myself for lying, too. Being a liar, you see it's painful.'
'So I've tried to change! I've tried to change. I have tried to stop lying to myself and others!'
'I've confided in others. I've tried to be myself! I've tried to just be the way I was born!"
'It's not my lies that killed her. She's dead because I stopped lying to her! If I had just kept lying- She wouldn't have died...!'
'I can't live unless I lie. That's how I was born... I'm pathetic, aren't I?'

...yeah. To me, this is almost 100% proof of the gay Kazui theory. He tried to stop lying, and to 'be himself.' To 'be the way he was born.' If that's not a queer analogy, I don't know what it is.
Finally, I just want to point out the line near the end: 'I wanted to be loved just like a cat.' In Japan, the word 'cat' ('neko') can also be used as a gay slang term for 'bottom. Maybe it's a bit too on the nose, but I really do think that this could just be Kazui straight up stating his preferences.
Anyways, that's my two cents! Based on this MV and the voice drama, I'm voting [FORGIVE], but I'd love to hear other people's takes on this.

I could try and elaborate more on my cyberpunk au when I'm able to since I'd have to collect all the scattered braincells in my brain to do but when I do I'll definitely let you know Katy🧡.
In the meanwhile I was creating scenarios in my head about the au and I thought about a cute thing that would make a very adorable scene I think. So since all cyberpunk 2077 characters have those jack wires on their wrists and use them to sometimes connect to other characters and make scans of them I don't think it'd be a stretch if that connection could also be used to link/sync two people if they both are connected to each other through that.
So on that like of though suggesting Hobie to do it, (I like to think that my oc and Hobie have try it out before, before the whole memory loss thing) so just two people who love each other very much wanting to feel even more connected to each other so they try to sync themselves up with each other and once they are they both can feel, hear, see each other through that connection, they can see and hear each other's memories, see what's on their mind and even talk through there not needed to actually speak for the other to hear.
It's intimate and comforting, to be able to let someone you trust and love deeply into your mind and share a mindspace with them almost like while your connected it's as if you become one, maybe doing it while cuddling each other with soft touches as they talk through their mind in the silence with just the faint noise of a bustling city outside of the small apartment, like creating a world of your own with them.
And maybe each touch is felt with the double of the intensity since you can feel what he feels and Hobie the same so it's like while he gently caresses your back he also feels it in his back and the other way around with you brushing your fingers through his face and you feel it as well.
Yeah this has been in my mind cause I don't it'd be a stretch to think this is possible an overall it's just sweet.

So two days ago I fucked my coworker in the staff bathroom and honestly it was the best hookup of my life. he’s 9 yrs older than me and a dilf 🧎🏽♀️ (his son is 5) he was always sooooo caring, considerate, and gave big brother vibes. i’ve kinda always had a little crush but never acted on it or showed it and so we were talking about life and i was saying how stressed i was and he asked when was the last time i was properly fucked and my heart raced so fast 😭😭 but plssss he was truly skilled with his mouth and fingers, best head i’ve ever received and he has the filthiest mouth straight out of fanfics i swear🧎🏽♀️LIKE I NEVER SHARE PERSONAL THINGS LIKE THIS BUT DAMNNNN IM STILL SHOOK!! Ah ha ha ha! honestly... sounds kind of awesome! The only issue is that he's a co-worker so if things don't work out that could get messy but you know, like there's some stat that says like 40% of people meet their spouse in the workplace. NOT SAYING YOU'LL GET MARRIED... I'm just making a point that this is common stuff here.
Lots of people hook up with co-workers so as messy as that could get you could potentially make it work or have a nice clean breakup where no one gets hurt.

I do have an actual lore ask! What period of retro tech inspired Ouro/ what era exactly is the technology based on? What's the personal computers vs super computers situation like if tech such as krtrim exists? That is to say were krtrim a large advancement or is the surrounding world technologically advanced in daily life?

the tech is mostly based on 80s-90s era computers! semiconductors are more scarce in-universe, so while they do have transistors and aren't using vacuum tube logic boards, processing speed is notably slow. SSDs/flash memory isn't a popular choice for this same reason, and HDDs remain the primary way to store non-volatile data. CRT monitors are favored, and LCD screens that do exist are pricey and usually only seen in small applications
high-end personal home computers are pretty clunky and about as fast as an crappy early-2000s laptop. while transistor parallelism has stagnated, memory capabilities are on par with what we can achieve today. supercomputers are a huge money sink and are usually only owned and operated by universities or government agencies. since the transistor is a bit of a novelty, scientists haven't had the chance to miniaturize them to nanometer size, so these computers will easily take up a whole building and don't come close to the processing power of supercomputers we see today
krtrim aren't "computers," rather they are electric entities that operate computers. with their current technology, artificial intelligence is still in its very primitive stages, and they view it in a similar way to how we thought of "sentient machines" in golden age sf (almost grandiose and fantasy-like, whereas now we know these are unrealistic). "AI" tends to be used interchangeably wrt krtrim, but its definition is different from how we define it in our world. it's why the official term for them is "computational human phantom" instead!
all that to say when krtrim were first introduced people were definitely surprised LOL.. they're out here using giant dinosaur PCs and all of a sudden there's sentient robots walking around

Ok so the person that I texted (after I saw other people saying things) is my pretty close friend from high school who goes to NYU. She said that yeah she heard she broke up with him over email. I didn't want to seem insane and be like "well can you find out for sure" lol, but at least she seemed to think it was true. Also I should say that I knew that she had mutual friends with Patrick bc she told me, but this is the first time she'd ever heard anything about taylor/joe from knowing his friends like I think he was very tight lipped before so I'm not really sure what changed here. Again take this with a grain of salt but I just thought I'd share the non-info i have lol.

Hi! I’m the shy anon who asked abt the commissions! (Sorry for disappearing, was kinda down so.. I was also the one who asked abt the friends thing, to which, thank you a whole lot for your answer)
So usually for writing commissions people have gone two ways: 1- charging by words, ex: 100 words being 15 dollars and so on. Or 2- charging by time, ex: the fic took 6hours to write, so 30 dollars.
So it’s a writer from writer kind of thing, if it’s not your thing it’s completely okay! I asked bc it’s kinda hard to find writers who does commission (let me pay you for your gold imagination!!), and, although I’ve wanted before but am a coward, I can’t write! For me, also, I think writing is a magical form of art just like drawing and always ask bc if I can help an artist, I’d certainly love that!

I gotta say though, 30$ for 6 hours is incredibly insulting. That is less than minimum wage. At my new job we work with a content partner, and being the nosy person I am, I had to look into them. For the record, this was unrelated to the ask. Anyway, they get $0.02 per word and it shows. They write base content that I always need to correct. No shade, from research it looks like a side gig and I'm all about getting bread. That being said in this scenario you'd not only be paying for my time, but my imagination and whatever else.
Also to be clear, I know you were setting an example and not saying I should charge that much; I just thought it'd be good to share for anyone else who might not have known like me!
For me though, writing takes a good solid chunk of my time so I'd probably be expensive. Also, the idea would need to spark something in me so that would also be up for review. As for headcanons and stuff… hm… 🤔 TBH I don’t think I’m typically a huuuuge headcanon kinda guy. I don’t think I have any on hand or in mind. However you can’t deny the trans dude swag radiating from Desmond and Charlie, so I think either one of em or both is a fun hc. I remember in my rewatch with friends when Desmond would inject himself we all made jokes about his testosterone supply. 😭 Trapped in the bunker for all those years, thank god he hasn’t run out yet etc etc. Maybe he can share with Charlie. :)
And I’ve gotta say. In the 2023 reboot that lives in my head where Charlie gets to survive (at least for a wee bit longer), I love the idea that the ways the island tries to kill him are getting more and more ridiculous. A coconut falling on his head. Getting buried in the sand but high tide comes unexpectedly when Claire and Des leave for a moment. Maybe he trips over a vine or something. And so the other two are constantly exhausted and fed up saving his life. Telling him to just stay seated in the tent for a day so they can relax. 😭
And actually you know what. I think Desmond deserved to be a little weirder in general. All the time isolated and what he went through. I do like how charming he is but I want him to be a bit more of a social pariah, at least at first. A guy who doesn’t remember how to act around people. Which would only serve to make his weird obsession with Charlie’s life even weirder.
#I also think Claire should get to be weird as hell. i know that she's.
