it took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize that i would never want to be loved in the way i loved others. i wanted to consume, to possess, to hoard. my love was all encompassing & it was greedy. it needs more and more until you can’t give anymore & then i would move on. spirituality, i am very in tune with my emotions & completely understand how big they are— i just had no idea how to wield my love. now i am learning the skill on how to love without hurting. my love is pure and kind and heals, but it also has the ability to drain, and kill.
