As much as I think it is important to have discussions about why allo people headcanon certain characters as aro and ace - since a lot of time the headcanons are about characters who are sociopathic and/or childish - I also think that as an aroace myself I can headcanon whoever tf I want to headcanon as aroace

#there are so many excuses #you can't headcanon matthew as aroace cause he's childish #you can't headcanon din djarin as aroace because he's from a strict religious background #you can't headcanon sherlock as aroace because he self-identifies as a sociopath #listen #those lessons are for YOU to question what YOU associate with asexuality and aromanticism #I can do whatever I wanna do #XD #I sound very obnoxious but like... I enjoy characters who are complex and from fantasy worlds #and there are very few characters who are not shown to canonically have romantic relationships #so I have a limited pool #and I always headcanon my faves are aroace so #and you know what I AM CHILDISH #but also I'm aroace and speak to many aroaces so I never bring that mindset into irl interactions #aromantic #asexual #aromanticism #asexuality #about me #aroace #aro stuff #ace stuff #aroace tag
