While the original subs say Qian, Yuan is actually saying Ge which means older brother in Mandarin (more info here). In fact, so far, Yuan has only ever addressed Qian as Ge. As @thisonelikesaliens pointed out, when Yuan does switch from Ge to Qian, it'll signify that a significant boundary has been crossed.

Now you may ask what does this category mean? Well nothing, most people I follow post about anything. I just thought it would be easier to find blogs with similar tastes this way. I based the categories on the day I open their tumblr and what they are posting. Chilling are for people that I saw a lot of memes over fandom stuff and nerds is for more western fandom (tv shows, books, movies) and also anime. I also know that a lot of danmei fans don't necessarily watch other QL that is why I put them in a different category. The others are more self explanatory but like I said, I love to follow chaotic posters like me so it is worth checking them all. By the way, I am quite forgetful so there is a lot of blogs that did not make here, but if I do another one I may add.

I've answered this before but I was reading galwhorants' answers and suddenly the words "world shaking" popped into my head, and I remembered that the main site I used to read Ami/Makoto (sailors Mercury and Jupiter from Sailor Moon) fanfic was on worldshaking.net so I looked it up and that site has been rebuilt and some of the fanfic restored! So if you are curious about what babyqueer me was reading ~1997 it's still around and you can go see for yourself (shout-out to the author & curator Erica Friedman who was [and still is] a mentor and community-builder for so many of us; she was the one who organized Yuricon which is still an excellent resource if you want to get into or understand the history of yuri!).

Last song

I'm a quiet TXT fan and I've been enjoying their new mini album; the last song I listened to was Quarter Life (which has the unfortunate effect of making me feel old since I'm long past the quarter-life crisis age lolol but it makes me nostalgic for the pop punk heydays):

Currently reading

I finished book 1 and am chipping away at book 2 of MoDu (Silent Reading); it is such a satisfying read! I need more hours in the day so I can keep reading it.

Last movie

I just finished the short Burmese film Khar Taw Mi (another Trust Entertainment work centered around Thingyan, this time around the cultural performance aspects rather than the water party parts, so lots of traditional music and dance). If we're talking feature film, hmm, I think it was either Doi Boy (2023) or Past Lives (2023), I can't remember the order I watched them in; I watched them both in March (and both were very good).

Currently craving

Honestly, what I most want right now is spoons to do the things I've been dragging my feet on doing. Food-wise, I was giving a colleague tips on visiting Newfoundland and now I'm craving soft-serve creamsicle ice cream, which I've only ever had in St. John's.

The smile that had left his eyes....is back!

That half smile starts in the corner of his lips & reaches his languid eyes, coupled with that tiny eyebrow raise. Wei Qian finally felt at ease since his tiny family of 3 is back at home.

This moment is imprinted in my memory..

Is it just me, or do I find many small gestures by Yuchen in this series to be somewhat iconic and unforgettable ?!!

The way he smiles from his heart ... you can feel it.

In my opinion, he deserves all the accolades for his performance as Wei Qian...🙌🙌🙌😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️

I've been listening to this and another one of his albums a lot again recently. I really like his covers in this genre and this is one is a cover from a song in Jungle Book. It makes me happy.

This is not my thing at all usually but I heard it on a dance competition show and I got obsessed. I haven't heard in a couple of days but there are some days that it's on a loop while giffing.

I love her voice and I love this song. I love a good ballad in general. And actually San from Ateez does a great cover of this song. I like both but the original wins my a tiny margin.

I should be packing but poor Merry has been very stressed and is currently napping on me and I don’t have the heart to move her so I’m sitting here being nostalgic. I created this blog when I was in the process of packing to move into my last apartment in Huntsville. I had seen @pixelatrix reference tumblr in her fanfic and maybe @missmeggo929 too. They were the first people I followed on here. Then I started following @thisonelikesaliens, @lolawritesstuff, @zendelai, @tigerpika, @thievinghippo, @foofyschmoofer and more. I haven’t been as active on here since moving to Tucson, partly because of not having the ability to be on tumblr during the day for most of it and partly due to longer days just leaving me tired but I think of all of you even those I don’t interact with often. Who knew a love of Mass Effect (games borrowed from my best friend, Jared , during one of the lowest points I had been at that point in my life) would lead to me meeting so many amazing people.

Five and a half years into my time in Tucson I’m starting to feel like things may be starting to turn around. I’m working for a program manager I respect and consider a friend. I’m moving into a house with a garage and covered back patio and i have an amazing pup who provides a ton of comfort when I need it most.
