To follow the yelp, a long, quiet rustle was audible on the other end. Though whatever waited on the other end wasn't visible, the panicked, hurried sounds spoke for them all the same. Rustling and rummaging hissed through the blackened screen. The mental picture could easily be put into your mind.

...After a minute or two of agonizing and awkward waiting, the camera finally took focus, colors flooding the screen. What stood in plain view was a short gentleman with tanned, bronzed skin and short, black curly hair. They smiled sheepishly, smoothing back their hair and brushing off their suit. "...It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." They nodded politely, putting a gloved hand on their heart. "We don't know each other yet, but... I hope we will come to. I'm Mila Law Young, a detective at the Royal Court Agency."

"For a back of a better word, I have gotten wind that thing's have been... risque, around these parts, wouldn't you say? An assortment of crime running in these dark, shaded backstreets, hiding under our noses... And I simply cannot live with the idea that innocent civilians are getting mixed in the middle of it."

"So... that's why I'm here!" Mila beamed, grinning from ear to ear. "To protect and serve! To get to the bottom of these terrible sins that are haunting our youth! When the two of you first decided to go public with your relationship, he was more than ready to protect and defend you, having seen many other idol’s partners harassed and hated on for the littlest thing. He was soo ready to fight anyone who so much as said ‘boo’ in your direction.

So imagine his relief, but also confusion, when you were met with an overwhelming wave of positivity and support.

Everyone was so excited, not only to see Yoongi in his ‘bf era’, but to see more content with you. You had always been the ‘friend’ behind the camera or stories that Yoongi told on livestream, so to finally get to see the two of you interacting was beyond cute for the fans.

Everytime one of you posts a photo of the two of you, everyone just gushes in the comments about how cute you look and how much they love getting to see you together.

disclaimer i havent Fully fleshed out its backstory so this will just be a large summary of . stuff that Occured

hiiro and his sisters were put up for adoption almost immediately after heru was born (hiiro being 3, pacchi being 5) and they took turns taking care of her bcuz their parents were too "busy" to hire babysitters. hiiro and pacchi got into a fight while heru (like toddler age atp) tried to break them up. because hiiro has always been quick to anger and sort of physical, when heru tried to intervene his first instinct was to push her as hard as he could while yelling at her to stay out of it, it doesnt involve her . errmm aftermath of that argument was . heru got permenant brain damage and hiiro and pacchis relationship Completely broke apart :[ aww womp womp . Ok fast forward . heru is homeschooled by a tutor and hiiro and pacchi are both in junior high. pacchi is popular and friendly and pretty, but her grades are lacking . hiiro has always been incredibly smart (even though pacchi is 2 years older, he skipped a school year or two and is in her same year), but his social life is miserable . because of his temper and Overall Unfriendliness he was put in separate classes away from his peers where he was the only student under a teacher who didnt care about hiiro or Pretty much anything . it wasnt seen often but when he Was seen he was beat up n bullied relentlessly n followed home , so a lot of the time he spent nights hidden in the school or in damp alleys because he didnt want to lead anyone dangerous back to pacchi and heru . when he Was home pacchi ignored him and heru would try to make conversation but hiiro was Pretty much entirely nonverbal during their school years . at home hiiro drew and wrote and played like anyone else his age but bcuz hiiro looked different and sounded different and acted different it ended up outcast and alienated :[ womp womp

aaaanyway yada yada hiiro graduates early n basically disappears into researching neurology n brains n Specifically how theyre "programmed" , they end up lowkey kidnapping a couple people to experiment on them w a janky "neuroprogramming" device that, once hes sure is Safe To Use , hiiro uses on itself :3 the way proples brains show up on the device isnt like an mri or anything , the way it shoes up actually Depends on the person so sometimes itll be a short rpg or lines of code or Minesweeper and because hiiro Made the device they can decipher what each brain thing means and collects data based off that . but because what he does is Very illegal the government eventually tracks him down and forces it to work w them or theyll Krill him .

he frequents a gaming cafe and knows all the staff by name but is too embarrassed to be seen in front of other people , so it rents out the whole cafe when it wants to go

after he Reappeared hiiro actually reconnected w his sisters and visits them as often as possible . Its not very affectionate at all though

i actually made his voice claim miyashita yuu . the songs where hes louder and yelling r more what i was thinking at the time , but i think miyayuu's soft speaking voice works as well

all the sleeves on their sweaters are slightly tethered and frayed because he fidgets with them while working . the right sleeve is more torn than the left

he doodles in his free time and has posted a couple oneshots on obscure manga forums . they dont keep up with them but one of them ended up getting really popular

1. obviously I’ll have a bias for Kyr and Sora because I made them n stuff, so I guess you can say they’re two of my favs. defo not the only ones though!

2. I cannot choose a favorite out of all of the 323rd ocs cause there’s so many of them and I heart them all, but I’ll choose my fav oc from each of the people who’ve made ocs for the battalion. my fav from you would be ukiyo, from sam would be patch, from exo would be taciturn, from moon would be flynn, and from gali would be skratch (gali only has skratch so far but he’s still one of my favs.) so yeah!

-Ukiyo randomly sleepwalking and Tacenda staying up to follow him and guide him around the base while he does so to make sure he doesn’t get hurt

-Mercy always willing to drag Flynn to the medbay because of how much he hides his injuries

-Skratch teaching Kyr mando’a and in turn Kyr teaching Skratch a variety of swear words in basic

-Chain acting more like the commander than Checkmate (the ACTUAL commander) does

oh boy um. okay. so i hauvent posted abt them in a long time but i imagine if youve followed me for long enuf you remember....and boy theres a lot to sayhere

so the context is that like when i was like 14..me & my at the time best friend became just like. obsessed with the diary of a wimpy kid movies. and im dead serious we were obsessed with them. we watched them all the time and talked about them for hours. like im straight up we loved these movies. my only possible defense for what was up with me is that i was really anorexic haha so i was really weird in the head. but anyways, obviously mostly people only talk about those movies because they like rodrick and well looks around yeah. but also ☝️ we were retired glee kids. my friend had previously been the biggest fan of the warblers from glee (who altogether have maybe 8 minutes of screentime) and we were retired newsies fans. we were really cringey fandom kids still & we were really really good at loving total nothing background characters. so !

if you pay attention. in the first movie rodricks band consists of 1 redhead kid on guitar, some emo kid, and some other random guy. in rodrick rules/dog days, his band is two guys named ben and chris (plus bill in rodrick rules and some random kid they found for dog days). chris doesnt have any lines i dont think but he is there a lot in rodrick rules. i dont have any evidence but im like 79% sure he was definitely high during the filming. and if he wasnt hes really good at acting it. ben does have lines though :-) in rodrick rules he and rodrick drive rowley and greg home and discuss what song theyre going to perform at the talent show and he says "dude we'll get to go backstage" at the party scene.

um. anyways yeah. we made them into what was pretty much our own characters and gave them a whole story which is so long and. in all honesty i just forgot so much of i make shit up all the time for it when i do stuff with it now. but its silly and long and to sum it up -> ben works at office max in a mall (i dont think they have office max in malls) and rodrick keeps coming in to print/copy band posters. one night he breaks the machine so he and ben talk and rodrick asks him to join his band. he says yes, so ben and chris join the band which is rodrick and matt (emo kid from the first movie, who guess what doesnt say a single thing. he just stands there and claps at the sorry women scene) also the big joke with matt was that he works at chuck e cheese and hes the guy who wears the mouse costume and ben rodrick and chris all keep going there and pissing him off and eventually he gets mad and yells at them and thats how they all meet. i think thats what we created him for basically. ben is rhythm guitar/vocals, chris is bass, rodrick is drums, and matt is lead guitar. they break up at the end of highschool and reunite after dropping out of college and get world famous haha. just think like really annoying music kids in like 2007 who actually have a successful band...(their song is rodrick rules is good...i promise go look it up).

but ya. its unfortunately such a personal story to me atp that i cant let it go even though im not even friends with that person anymore. and also i dont really care. its funny & i draw them so much now and also. rodrick rules is such a good fucking movie. i dont care its definitely in my top ten favorites im deadass. whatevs.

Hmm... There's honestly quite a lot of bad moments for Myra in the AU!Jen au. Like certain losses and stuff...

But one moment I like to share is the moment she got uh... thrown into the jjk universe.

And the reason I say thrown is because she was quite literally thrown into a teleportation portal that could send her to any random universe.

After she got severely injured by some dude who did a number on her I mean, he stabbed her at the one moment she lowered her guard and not only that he completely destroyed her in hand-to-hand combat (he even yanked on her hair and threw her at a wall. How could he-)

Oooo and fun fact!

So in my AU, right? Besides Myra, there's this other OC, some man who also has puppetry powers just like her and the REASON why he and she (and a few others) have similar abilities is because they are *blessed* by some god or aeon or just a higher being (in ORV they're called constellations).

And this *god* who decided to bless these people? They also gave them certain *roles*.

So for this man, he's like... enforcing and making sure a person's *story* stays the same and makes sure there aren't any *anomalies* interfering with their fate, especially when it comes to their death. So basically he's more of a "Follow the story even if it kills you in the end" kind of guy.

And guess what?

Myra, without her knowing, is a special case because she's the only one capable of actually changing a person's story, hence why she's able to save Nanami and his story continues.

So yeah these two? A lot of tension even though they're blessed by the same god (who very much enjoys theatre and entertainment).

Anyway back to worst moment for Myra.

So they've all finished a mission together. They're about to go home. The girl who's able to use actual black magic (not Jennette BUT this girl is considered as Aeternitas' student) made a portal where they can just get back to a safe place and right before Myra could enter the portal while almost everyone else did and she feels like she can finally relax for just a second-

Bam!

No, the guy didn't go for Myra first.

It was the black magic user kid. Shot her with his gun which made her lose focus and the portal lost connection. And after tossing the kid into the portal right before she lost consciousness and the connection between their locations lost, he immediately lunged at Myra.

Now, Myra is completely exhausted. The mission they had was a long one and for most of it she was non stop fighting with monsters that are way above her level at the time. She's selfless like that and would not hesitate to protect anyone younger than her.

At this point she's completely in no state of fighting one-on-one. But she still pushes herself to the limit and tried to disarm him and get to safety asap but it's futile when he dropped a subtle threat that her students (Jen and some other young adults atp) are gonna have to start setting up a funeral for her and just stabs her in the stomach with his own sword.

After finally knocking Myra out, he dragged her limp body by the hair and just threw her into the portal, having no idea of which universe the portal will send her to :)

As long as she's not here in this world where she's capable of interfering with the story that's laid out for the people here that fate has planned out, that's all that matters.

SO! This guy has been with me for.. many a year atp, went through a lot of redesigns and his story has been rewritten more times than I can count jcjf he's never seen the light of day til now so- yea haha

How evident is it that I redesigned him during covid?

Chroma is a Sans from my undertale au, ChainTale! Or... well one of them. He is Chain!Sans 1.0 Something effed up in his au and it got deleted with Chroma surviving only because of his funky magical structure, basically weird chain!monster anatomy and magic n stuff nfncn

Chroma's code isn't compatible with any universe anymore, not ever ChainTale 2.0, so he just sorta glitches from place to place with no choice of where or when or for how long.

There are tells of when another glitch out is getting close. The longer Chroma stays in a certain au, the glitchier he gets.

The first few times he got glitched out (doodle of that cuz it's funny)

He attempted to figure out why everything's so different around him. He even tried to get to know a few people. That however- those friendships never lasted him long as he always ended up being ripped away from the friends he'd made.

Over time he stopped trying to connect with people, as it did him nothing but make him feel even more miserable. He chose to hide his face to avoid being recognized as a Sans, cuz- obviously an au would have its own version of the guy (Or not, in which case it would be sus to see a random unknown or dead person)

ChainTale Sanses are also rather tall for a Sans. Standing at 5'7

Chroma can summon and hide his 'chains' at will.

Chroma's bones have gained a gray hue sort of coloring on his fingers and hands. Marking him as a glitch in the system (if the glitches and binary chains weren't telling enough)

I had some notes on his particular brand of chain magic but I don't remember what it was haha. All I know is that it's different from Chain's (ChainTale 2.0 Sans)

Like I literally dedicated so much time to making RSA almost as thought out as NRC. Then I made a whole fucking NRC all-girls equivalent (Midnight Crow) and an all-girls RSA equivalent (Golden Crown) and I don’t have OCs for the last two but I’m gonna MAKE THEM!

Not to mention my couple of noble bell OCs and my plethora of just NRC OCs and yet I put all my time into my Yuu OC and none of my other 2927397292 children

I was planning to only talk about Ash themself in propaganda for @original-character-championship but, fuck it ! world lore time, since I want to explain why her name is that and give context for his story so lore is needed.

The entire story is about Ash fucking around and sticking her nose where she shouldnt. Btw. So if any of this intrigues you, you're identifying with him

There's one goddess. She herself doesn't know how she came to be. *Why* she came to be. She tried to make things, to fill this void she was in. First were the angels, in their own little village in space. They look like this. and their petals are more open the closer they are to the goddess

and they were entirely... unsatisfying. Boring. Angels are satisfied with how things are and never try to create anything of their own and it drives the goddess mad. She made them this way because she didn't want to give other beings too much power, didn't want to accidently mess something up, but now she can't understand her own creation. She keeps them to be messengers for her in cases of emergency.

Next were humans. Two things stand at the basis of humanity, to set them apart from the failed civilization. Those things are the want for knowledge, and the ability to create. Now, her way to not give too much power was the concept of mortality.

She wanted mortals to want to live. So she made demons, the guides to the afterlife, to look scary to them on purpose.

Humanity is basically a reflection of the goddess, made for her to help herself figure out what she wants by seeing what we end up wanting.

Once you die, you have three options:

1. live in your own little pocket of reality where everything in there is in your control- for better or for worse- forever, in a sort of goddess simulator. She likes to watch these guys to gain inspiration.

2. Remain a ghost, watching the world whilst being basically unable to affect it. Most people who choose this are either people with family they want to see what happens to, or just any type of grudge or attachment they want to see play out. Ghosts can possess objects and only objects, and might then get stuck in these objects. There are people who can see ghosts, it's a recessive gene that's incredibly rare and it's basically an accident. I have a character who's a ghost possessing a robot body that was made for her as a loophole.

3. Nothing more for you, ever. Sleep. An entirely valid choice.

Magic's all around this world, especially in nature. Witches are scholars who study how to use it. Maybe wizards would fit better but I just like the aesthetic and the sound of witches. I also like the connotation to modern witches. A big point of my oc world is it's urban fantasy, modern and all, and there aren't any modern wizards.

Witchcraft is a respectable career path in my oc world these days. It's seen as another branch of science atp. It's even figured out empirically, experiments sometimes held to figure out how witchcraft works, since it's just part of how the world works. It's like physics

Many hospitals have a resident witch who does what they can to help people. Since witchcraft is tied to nature, giving traits of an animal is a safe process. That's why Ash was made a parrot, to also get parrot lungs

Witchcraft is a respectable degree and has special schools for it. It used to be done by pretty much anyone who could comprehend it, but these days it's systemized so pretty much all witches are pressured rich kids

With how the world's magic is from nature, both flowers and gems have huge cultural significance. I chose a lot of motifs for characters with google open on meanings for gems and a floriography dictionary I downloaded.

Angels can actually watch humans through flowers around.

Ash's name, besides being there to be an opposite to demonboy Frost's name since they're meant to be total opposites in the narrative, is after an ash tree's flowers. Those flowers, in floriography, represent grandeur- standing for how all her story follows him seeing all sorts of grand things on accident.

Ash working in a flower shop represents how they're surrounded by knowledge of this grand world all the time, but never are able to decipher it and are never truly aware. And also as an excuse for him to be able to recognize flowers easily so he can say the names so the audience can find the meanings easily 👍

MY ANGEL <3 Thank you for the opportunity to infodump about my current muse lol. Right now my girl is Lydia Forbes (played by Katie Cassidy.) She has a vampire diaries verse but right now I’m all about her Marvel verse (bc ofc I am.)

Ive wanted to make a Scott Lang OC for ages but could never think of a good story to go along with it (aside from my emo Scott/Leila AU which is not MMCU canon). But recently I finally figured out how to work Lydia into the story organically!

So basically: Lydia is the daughter of a former family friend of the Pyms. She actually is introduced in a Steve/Leila centered fic (still pre-relationship) as a member of the Trust, the superpowered gang that Leila used to run. She has the power of sonic screams (very apt use of faceclaim lmao.) 

Basically, either during the Battle of New York in the Avengers OR the Harlem Incident in The Incredible Hulk, Lydia’s younger sister died in the chaos. What also happened is that the stress caused Lydia’s powers to manifest. But because of her sister’s death, her parents became vehemently anti-superpower. Lydia was afraid of what they’d do if they found out, so she dropped off the grid and eventually became a part of the Trust because she didn’t know where else to go. 

Her first arc actually takes place in the Daredevil corner of the universe. Unsure exactly what happens, but the Trust is working for Kingpin (how the Trust works is basically, larger crime bosses will pay the Trust for their members to perform certain illegal or sketchy tasks–heists, bodyguards, whatever. Kingpin has hired a few Trust members, including Lydia, for reasons I’m unsure of currently.)

Lydia has qualms about this and ends up in a precarious alliance with Matt. They have a kind of almost-thing, not unlike Matt and Claire, but Lydia ultimately ends up fully turning good and leaving the city for San Francisco instead to start fresh. 

She gets involved in the Pymtech heist in two ways. One, she ends up living with the X-Con squad in their shitty apartment (telling them she’s also an ex-con, which she is not) and when Hank reaches out to her, she recommends Scott as the new Ant-Man, kicking off Hank baiting Scott into robbing him. 

Then later she ends up robbing her mom’s house–her mom used to be the head of security for Pymtech, way back in the day, and Darren has become paranoid enough to bring in some legacy security measures, so Lydia and Scott have to break into her mom’s house to get schematics from when she ran Pymtech security. 

There’s a running gag up to this point that none of the X-Con squad knows anything about Lydia or where she came from or what she did to go to prison. So during this heist, with Scott and Lydia in the house and the rest of them listening over comms, Lydia’s mom comes into the room and flips the lights on and they turn around and Lydia says, reluctantly, “Hi, mom,” and the boys lose their fucking minds about it. Lydia and her mom start arguing (I think they are still estranged, but her mom does know about her powers atp) and Scott is trying to become one with the wallpaper and over the comms the guys are like “Scott stop breathing so loud we are trying to hear what’s going on”

Also at some point prior to this, Kurt hacked into the prison records to try to find out what Lydia was in for, and said he couldn’t find a reason she was in prison. So eventually everyone finds out that she’s not, actually, an ex-con (“When I break the law, I don’t get caught.” –Lydia) And Scott’s like that’s not true, Kurt found your records in the [prison name] system! And Kurt’s like actually I never said that. 

So Scott’s like ??? And Kurt’s like “She is young women who choose willingly to live with three older–how say…sketchy, men. I assume she have reason.” And Scott’s like “Hey, we’re not sketchy! We’re not sketchy, right?” And Luis is like “I mean…” and Dave is like “eh.”

ANYWAYS. Hank does make her a suit with a collar that helps her control her sonic screams and allows her to shrink. (I’m trying to do research on How Sound Works(™) to know what her screams would be like when she is tiny.) And she, Hope and Scott become a team (I’m thinking of her superhero name being Cicada around this time, although she was Scream Queen in New York) and Lydia and Scott start dating around this point. 

In Civil War, Scott actually does ask Hope and Lydia to go with him. Hope refuses but Lydia agrees, and they both get arrested and put on the raft. Steve frees them, and as in canon Scott turns himself in and gets house arrest, but Lydia is worried about what they’ll do when they find out her powers are hers and don’t come from the technology, so she chooses to go on the run. 

While Scott’s under house arrest, Hope and Hank are also on the run as in canon, and during that period of time they make their peace with Lydia–they reach out to her because they need her criminal contacts to be able to find the things they need to build the quantum tunnel. So by the time Scott gets involved again, Lydia’s cool with them but they’re still mad at him, and Lydia has to kind of mediate for a lot of the Ant-Man and the Wasp plotline. 

(Also Lydia’s “on the run from the law” makeover look is Katie Cassidy with the platinum pixie cut she had in later seasons of Arrow.)

Anyway, at the end Lydia gets snapped so she can’t pull Scott out of the Quantum Realm, then comes back for the End Game battle, etc. There’s a lot of gaps here that I’m still working out but overall I’m really excited about her right now! (I also feel like she has a complicated history with Hope somehow, but I’m still figuring out what that is–regardless, they make peace during the first Ant-Man movie and are close friends after that.)

(I want to give Hope her own OC love interest, I’m just not sure who right now.)

One element I really like about her relationship with Scott–I characterize Scott in my fics as having a dark side. I rewatched all his movies the other day and everything and I really do think that looking at canon, you can make a good argument that Scott struggles with anger issues and impulse control issues. Meanwhile, I think Hank and Hope know that Lydia was involved with some shady stuff in new york, but they don’t know the full extent of what she was complicit in. 

So I like the idea of them kind of being able to show that side to each other that they aren’t necessarily proud of and kind of understand each other on that level. Alexa play Dark Side by Kelly Clarkson.

The "Scott stop breathing so loud" broke me! lol. This sounds epic! I think you have more planned out for an OC in one ask than I do for all of my OCs combined! lol. (I'm exaggerating, but you're thorough)

OnG its a TOYTTINN

(Not his ref sheet, I just wanted to post this and obesse over him. Also i dont know how to explain my ocs, so this is gonna be unorganized. )

So he's my oc, Toytin. And I love him very much. And he is literally physically incapable of being rude.

I made him 8'1 (big.) and the son of Baphomet. He's half goat, you really can't tell because his mother - Who was a hellhound Baphomet just snatched- takes the majority of his appearance. (Besides his hooves and tail.) He's very special, and when I say special I mean he's autistic.

Hes afraid and paranoid, especially of food. That's because for the majority of his childhood/teen years (he's 16.) He grew up as a puppet. He -quite literally- is crochet. His family dynamic was very dystopian. More joblike than family. And he had a big use in it.

The reason why Baphomet went to earth in the first place was due to a greed for human flesh, which is why he created a makeshift family to fufill his greed. Toytins role in the family is only a role for one. He's supposed to stay locked in a forest, in a trance, until a human approaches him. He befriends the human and takes them to his home, usually, gets them to stay the night. Then they go missing in the morning. He never knew what his family did, and he always did this once a week. He just thought his friends left early, unaware his friends were his breakfast, lunch and dinner.

After finding out the real reason why they go missing, (Through a friend. ) His family however refuses to let him leave especially with his friend. Without a choice, he massacres them. In the end, he banishes/sends Baphomet back to hell yet Baphomet didn't permanently die, he just couldn't go to earth until a portal was opened.

He's able to escape the prison and go to a hospital, where he meets a kind witch nurse who realizes he is basically homeless and knows NOTHING about society. She takes pity on him and allows him to stay in between her house, and her friend.

When discharged from the hospital. He hops between the nurses (Who's named Alice) and another man, someone who works for foster care. In Alice's house he meets her son (14 years old) named Clover. Who gets Toy into a high school where he meets his future roommate, Mars, a Albino manticore (he's my other oc) Who absolutely despises him. (He's 16.)

After the homes he stays at become unstable (They can no longer support him for their own reasons). Clover, a close friend to Mars, Gets Mars to take Toy in. Mars home situation isn't the best for Toy to live on. He lived alond, in a run-down flower shop-turned-house. The majority of the furniture is sand bags and cardboard boxes.

Despite holding a grudge Mars grows close to Toytin. He is the pure opposite from him, yet they have similar experiences. Which grows a strong hate-love relationship between the two.

But even with such a strong hate, after a while of being together, Mars finds himself attracted to Toy. And when "sick" for a month, he advances on Toytin, and sleeps with him. (ALSO. Now both of them are 18 atp.)

For once, knowingly sinning, Toytin has a existential crisis. And tries to redeem himself by using magic ,incapable of accepting his flaws, Using magic he reopens his connection to Baphomet. And he drags himself to the library where he summons a gateway to hell which releases Baphomet and activating his inheritance to Baphomet.
