the two just stare at eachother, blood and bruising on almost any part of their body at this point. Stu's breathing is ragged - sharp and quick, Billy's remained soft yet shallow
They took away eachothers troubles but then again, they left pain.
The smiths playing from the radio in the background not going ignored.. actually, it was playing into the thought process of the two.
This night has opened their eyes. Stu had kicked and cried like a bullied child, an almost grown man of 17. Billy had always said he'd cure his ills but he didn't and he never will.

This song just screams Lyta Hall and Morpheus. The melancholic tone, some of the lyrics fit Lyta, some to Morpheus.
I understand Morpheus and his absolute need to follow his own rules and being neutral about Lyta (having nothing against her) but I just feel so bad for Lyta. Stuck in her husband’s fantasy then forcefully taken out of it, having your husband ripped away from you and then told “I’ll take your baby one day, bye”is so much. No wonder Lyta is the way that she is.
