Ninjago — The Pudding Dilemma

Cole, Zane

The crew loves a new brand of pudding too much. Zane limits how much they can have.

This is like, super stupid lmao. I just really wanted to write smth with Zane, but I focused on Cole oops. There’s no dialogue bc i didn’t feel like it. Here you go :)

Ever since Nya bought a new pudding brand, the ninja have fought over it. Lloyd said it was like a disco party for his mouth. Jay would look the Devourer in its eye for it.

The ninja ate it every day and quickly burnt through the grocery money. Zane, with the most self-control of the team, took it upon himself to limit everyone’s pudding intake. Mostly because he went to sleep in the fridge one night to see Jay eating the entire new pack of pudding.

Cole knew Zane meant well, and he agreed the ninja were spending too much on it, so he sided with Zane.

Cole went a full two days without trying to eat more than he was allowed. If he paid Nya for her pudding cup, no he didn’t. He supported Zane, and Zane was right.

On the third night, the sky is dark and the halls are quiet. Everyone is asleep but Cole. He’s hungry. He wants pudding. He craves it. But no, he already had his limit for the week. Just one more day, Nya would go back to the village and come back with pudding.

Laying in his bed at 3 AM, Cole recognized Zane’s correctness, but this pudding situation was cruel.

Cole sighed and closed his eyes, hoping he could fall back asleep despite his intense need for chocolate pudding.

He sits up.

Forget the guilt.

He heads for the kitchen.

No one’s gonna know, no one’s gonna see him this late.

The kitchen is empty, like expected. However, Cole doesn’t see any security. There are no cameras, no lasers, no tripwires. At this point with Jay’s constant attempts to steal pudding, Cole expected a security system, but the lack made his task easy.

Cole opens the fridge, but there’s no pudding. The fridge has something else instead.

It’s Zane.
