Also from the 11th to the 18th I won’t have any computer access and very little internet access but I’ll schedule a couple clips beforehand for that week 🫡

#idk how often the posts will be. maybe 3-4 a week #12 hr workday + no real privacy in my room #means I could only edit late at night #or on the weekend #and it feels like such a waste of my tiny bit of free time #to be sitting at my desk pretending to do something as I wait for my mom to gtfo of my room #I think all the typing makes her suspicious idk man #it made what should have taken 45 mins take up to 2 hrs sometimes #so I will be attempting to do all my editing on friday/saturday and queue the posts #what I’ve been doing is scheduling 2-4 days of posts at a time #but like I said. doing it during the weekday is extremely time consuming due to being watched :p #on the weekends she’s less nosy and I can just wait for her to be asleep lol #if tumblr didn’t have an audio upload limit then I could just go all out for like 3 hrs and have a big queue lined up #it will actually take me less time to edit on a friday/saturday just cause I won’t be interrupted at all at nignt. lol.#tldr: I have very little free time and am interrupted constantly during the week #it will be easier for me to edit late at night on the weekend #and schedule the posts throughout the week #at the cost of no more daily posts (blame tumblr audio limit)#non voice post

Been feeling the growing pains full force lately. Absolutely not perfect, but so much of the shit that used to make me feel anxious isn’t making me feel anxious anymore. Maybe it’s bc I’m at a period of my life where I’ve had the most freedom w how to structure my time, and it’s a transitional period of intense studying and commitment to so many things that are fairly new to me, but I could genuinely only liken it to staring into a flame for an hour and just feeling the brain fog clearing. It’s just been so much easier to put things into perspective lately. And I could confidently say that this is the most I’ve known myself & been unapologetically me. I’ve been trailblazing my own path as opposed to listening to other opinions, and it has never felt more right. It’s so hard to be swayed when for once I know exactly how I fit in the jigsaw

#at least for the next few months #who knows what comes after #but for now I’ve truly been razor focused. it’s hard to be deterred in this state of mind #if this is how it’s like to have a fully developed prefrontal cortex then whoever’s experiencing it is WINNING #I want to feel this way all the time #my triggers just haven’t been affecting me as of late. lets see how long this lasts #p

Y’know something weird I’ve noticed? I’m way more confident writing DP x DC stuff than I am writing just DC stuff. I think it’s because the DP x DC fandom doesn’t really expect writers to have as much knowledge of both, so I don’t feel the same “can’t make any mistakes” feeling I get when I try to write DC fics. There’s just so much complex lore in the DC universe, from the comics to the shows, and a lot of it is different depending on what time period the stuff you’re reading/watching is from. I’ve never finished or even posted any DC stuff I’ve done cause I’m always worried that the lore I’ve learned from the shows and the lore I’ve learned from the comics will contradict each other or something, and I’ll get called out on it. There isn’t that same pressure when I’m writing for a subsection of the fandom that’s totally fine with inconsistencies and character rewrites

It’s really nice that everyone here is so nice
