Hahaha what if...what if I did a silly thing. What if i wrote a silly little thing. A silly, silly little thing about Shattered Dream and the tragedy if a hero falling. A silly little character study on Dream and how he decides to turn.
Hahaha. Wouldn't that be funny?

sorry for the random question you don't have to answer btw but che ne pensi del fatto che molti italiani adorino e considerino insuperabile la grandezza dell'impero romano? solo a me ha sempre puzzato di retorica fascista e imperialista?
finché sono due memini sulla conquista della gallia ma anche chissene ovviamente come in tutte le cose ci vuole consapevolezza ed è importante saper riconoscere retoriche fasciste ma comunque sia dubito che potrebbe mai portare a qualcosa di grave nel senso dubito qualcuno possa svegliarsi domani e dire minchia mo conquisto la dacia e avere un seguito

~
you don't have to read this part lmao
also on one of my other posts someone commented but it wont let me reply and they asked why i put tags for different groups on my posts.
basically i put all the 'relevent' tags first so if its a post about exo i put everything relevant to that post about exo, then i add the rest of my fave groups. im a multi fandom, it's what i do and i've made quite a few friends by doing that. I find people who share the same love for different groups 🤷🏻‍♀️
hope that answered your question (it was more of a retorichal question bc they put 'wtf' so i wanted to adress it lmao)

Quick question: If I want to ask something like: "It's very sunny in Italy, isn't it?" or "Many of these buildings are very old, aren't they?" how would I translate the "isn't it"/"aren't they" part into Italian? Do I just say "È molto soleggiato in Italia, no?"? Or would "..., non è vero?" be more correct?
Both “no” and “non è vero?” are equally correct. Probably “no?”, being shorter and faster, might be more commonly used, but there’s no difference in the end. You could simply ask “vero?” or “giusto?” as well. :)
————
Btw, for those who want to know a bit more on this subject:These are called “domande retoriche”, which means we basically say something and, as in English, ask you (with a question tag) to agree with us or just keep the conversation – unless the tone we use means something different (it might be a real question too when we stress or high pitch it).In Italian, we use many different words to translate question tags - and you can follow the English rule (sentence affermative + question negative and viceversa) or not, according on where you want your conversation to go.For example:Paolo non è capace di nuotare, vero? = Paul can’t swim, can he? Paolo è capace di nuotare, no? = Paul can swim, can’t he?Paolo non è andato al cinema, no? = Paul didn’t go to the cinema, did he? Paolo è andato al cinema, vero? = Paul went to the cinema, didn’t he?
If you want to translate a negative question tag in a negative way, the most common ones are: non è vero?, no?; while if you want to translate a positive question tag in a positive way, you can ask for example: vero?, giusto?
But there are many more. Some of these are often used to ask for an opinion, for example: ti pare?, ti sembra?, non credi?, non ti pare? non ti sembra?, non pensi (anche tu)? = don’t you think? / don’t you agree? che ne dici? che cosa ne pensi? = what do you think about it?ho ragione?, non ho (forse) ragione? = am I right?I’d use these also instead of the more common “vero” and “no” I just wrote about, according on the meaning of the question you are asking. Some might be a bit more specific in their use, so beware. For examples “ti va?” is more specific for an invitation imo, it translates as “shall we?” / “would you (like to)?”. Andiamo a prendere un caffé, ti va? = Let’s have a coffee, would you/shall we?Luca è cresciuto, non ti sembra? = Luca became taller, didn’t he?/don’t you think?Davide è molto bravo, non credi? = Davide is a really good guy, isn’t he?/don’t you think?Laura assomiglia a Lucia, non credi? / vero? = Laura and Lucia look alike, don’t you think? / don’t they?Parti domani, giusto? = You’re leaving tomorrow, aren’t you? / Am I right?
