satoru 100% carries extra sunglasses with him and i think he'd actually carry his black blindfold aswell. obvs he's not gonna make you wear it as you're moving through public but he'd lead you to a quiet spot and then just let you have a moment. he's either sitting you down next to him or he's holding you against his chest, protecting you from every single ray of light that could possibly make it any worse for you. bc honestly... sunglasses are sometimes just not enough for me personally. i've had my fair share of times where i just have to cover my eyes with my hands bc it just hurts so much.

we all know that satoru is a big yapper but i know he needs his quiet time too. i think he would love to just Do Nothing with you in complete silence. maybe you're both just taking a nap together, maybe you're just laying in the sun out in the park. maybe you're resting your head on his lap, maybe he's resting his on yours. it's all just about gentle touches and looks.

he loves it when you ramble and he's literally your biggest hypeman!! he's ready to spend all of his fucking money on you and any fucking equipment you could ever need. you want a new game or a new console? they're both already waiting for you at home. you want to start drawing? he has already ordered a tablet for you to practise on. you want to get into photography? he's buying you a camera and three different lenses. he wants you to be happy and he wants you to be able to do everything you could ever possibly want. he's just the sweetest guy ever i am crying rn actually:((

he's the best little autism bf btw. bc he gets it. he understand. he knows. he knows all about the light sensitivity. he knows all about the difficulty of eating "normal" foods, always munching on candy and snacks bc that's just easier. he knows about the fidgeting, he knows about the innate need to have somebody lay on top of you. he knows about the rambling and the hyperfixations. he knows about the confusing social clues and the ridiculous differences of speaking tones. he knows about the eye-contact problems - whether you're someone, who struggles to keep it or you're someone, who can't tear your eyes from everybody else just like him - he understands! he knows about being straighforward and speaking exactly what's on your mind and then being scolded for it. he knows about Not Really Understanding personal space. he truly does understand and he's ready to do anything and everything to help you cope with Life.

toji is theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee best weighted blanket and i stand by that. he's so fucking huge and he's so fucking heavy - he's perfect. he's gonna tease you about it but just a little!! you tug him by his hand and he gladly takes his place on top of you bc let's be honest... he's gonna love it, too. he's protecting you! he's taking care of you in a way that doesn't need words! he's trying his best! and if this is what you need - he is going to do it!!!

also with the light and sound sensitivity - he'd gladly pull you into his chest and cover your eyes with his big ass palm. and it would feel soo comforting wtf. the weight of it and just the fact that it's him?? fuck, i know it'd be so good. or your ears. he's placing them on your ears, muffling the overwhelming sounds while cradling you and wahh:(( he'd make you feel so safe.

suguru and shoko and parallel play. it's amazing. they will read a book while you're gaming. or suguru's painting while you're reading. or shoko's having her morning smoke and coffee while you're doing your skincare (i'm sorry i just can't get out the beautiful picture of her sitting on the little windowsill of your bathroom, a cig inbetween her fingers and a cup of coffe in her hand. no words are being spoken - it's just the sound of the birds outside, the water running and her gulping down her little espresso. thank you for listening.)

or suguru's doing his little home workout routine as you're crocheting. or it's you and shoko just laying on your shared bed scrolling on your phones in silence. could literally be whatever. they're gonna glance at you every once in a while, they're gonna ask how you're doing, how you're feeling and then they're gonna give you a tender smile and a kiss on your cheek and continue on. i'm melting just thinking about it.

suguru is obviously also going to be there for you if you have sleeping problems. he understands them all too well and he's pulling out all the stops to help you fall asleep (and himself). he's gonna make the tea one night and you'll make it the next night. it's equal. maybe you're also going to take a lovely little bath together, you'll giggle exhaustedly as you both slur out very stupid jokes and after that you'll both climb under the covers and take turns in listening to each others heartbeats and (hopefully) fall asleep.

shoko and sarcasm. she definitely makes a lot of sarcastic jokes and comments and she'll be a bit confused at first when you just blurt out the good-old "i don't know whether you're joking or not". but i think she'd find it super cute. she'll still occasionally make the comments but she'll make sure to check in whether you got it or not. i think she would tease but she'd do it very lightly (she definitely cackles when satoru doesn't understand sarcasm though lmao but you're her baby and she doesn't want you to feel bad). and i think she would love if you made terrible sarcastic jokes. like she would laugh until there are tears prickling in her eyes and you'd still be like ????? i don't understand and then she'd laugh even more. she's so cute.

kento is always ready to cook for you. he understands how hard it can be, how overwhelming it can be. he doesn't mind it a bit. i truly think this would be good for the both of you! he loves to cook and it's such a relaxing thing for him, and it's even better now that he knows he can see you fill your cheeks with delight. he needs you to eat well and he will make sure you do!

i also think that he's so patient with you and he'd never ever make you feel like you have to speak with him. he buys little plushies that you can turn inside-out, a pink side and a blue side - indicating how you're doing on the Speaking department that day. and these tiny interactive pins and you can express whatever you're feeling without ever speaking a word. he never pressures you in any way, always just reward you with more reassurance and a kiss to your temple.

he's ALSO the best listener. like he never talks over you. never. not even on an accident???? it's a superpower i think. he let's you talk at your own pace and he just stares at you with very soft eyes:((

wait i also think that shoko, utahime and yuki would gladly speak for you. in a sense of if you have social anxiety or you stutter or anything like that, they'd easily take up the task of ordering for you! they literally have all of your orders remembered and everything.

Hey there

Hi, this is my reintroduction to tumblr (kinda).

I go by May on the internet, it's some weird nickname I made of my real name and goes back to my first gamer tag on minecraft...

I'm currently 22 years of age, which sometimes makes me feel incredibly old on the internet? At the same time I seem to come across many other people my age who go through very similar struggles as me lol

I curretnly work fulltime as a waitress. I'm European so I get paid a proper wage there, and the work with my coworkers is very fun and comforting. I'm not always the biggest fan of other people, but being a people pleaser and having the ability to hide my true personality behind a "nice" facade makes my job possible and bearable. (jk aside, I really like my job)

Hobbies include:

reading (I always say that, but I barely ever pick up a book. Just spent most of my early teen years absolutely ramming through a shit ton of books. I still really enjoy reading, but I barely find the time to do it. My tbr list is endless)

gaming (I'll dip my toes into anything that's not an ego-shooter, my PS5 is one of my most treasured possessions)

watching movies (last year I dragges either my sister or one of my friends to the theaters at least once a month. Doesn't mean I'm a movie critic or anything, but I really like watching movies and I might just share some takes on it on here)

anime (just a select few, the most famous ones. Life's busy when you have a fulltime job and still have other hobbies, but I'm currently on my first watchthrough of One Piece! Will definitely post about this from time to time)

listening to music (realizing I have very basic hobbies bc my parents never urged me to pursue anything specific when I was a child, but anyway: I will listen to almost a bit of anything, but Taylor Swift and Ghost were amongst my most streamed artists on Spotify last year. Do with that info what you will)

writing. I did start with writing fanfiction, first harry potter, then boybands, then kpop, then anime. Most important to me was always my original idea though. I know many people have things like this. A few years ago I thought I'd actually go with trying to publish something. Now I have revised and rethought the whole thing. I barely write, but it's still in the back of my head all the damn time. I always think about writing, but doing the actual thing rn seems impossible.

As I'm writing this I realize how pathetic I feel doing this, beacuse I have this awful feeling no one is gonna respond and I'll end up regretting this so much that I'll delete it. Thank God the internet gives me the opportunity to be anonymous.

Anyway, the previously mentioned hobbies lead to my (current) interests that I'll most likely post about, so if you're into one or more of these things as well, let's chat!

in terms of games: Currently playing through Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and generally FF7 is probably a huge hyperfixation of mine and has been for years. I've just arrived in Gongaga on my playthrough and I'm loving all of it. The game caters to all the expectations and interests I have in games. It's just so insanely beautiful and makes me tear up every couple hours idk

on this note I'd like to mention that I dipped my toes into FF14 but since I only play on Playstaion now, all the commands are overwhelming to me. I'm definitely planning on playing FF15 and FF16

Kinda cringe but I swear I'm normal: Genshin Impact. Have been playing since early 2021, once had a pretty unhealthy relationship to this game, but I was mentally not doing well during that time. Having a fulltime job changed my perspective on the game. Now I'm a casual enjoyer bc I love the open world and characters, and I love to get into the lore, so I might post a few theories and stuff on here

On that note: Honkai Star Rail. Same company, but it took me way longer to get into the game. Really enjoying it now though, although I am struggling with a bunch of battles. Save to say, I am NOT playing the game for the meta lol

One Piece! As mentioned, I started my watch of it last year in summer just before the Netflix live action came out (work bestie talked me into it). I'm quite literally at episode 500 rn. Had to stop for a while at around Thriller Bark bc the first few episodes didn't quite do it for me. Now I try to watch a few episodes before sleep everyday :)

Other anime that I am different levels of unhinged about: Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Bungou Stray Dogs, Demon Slayer. The basics, I know. Just don't have the time to watch a lot while other life stuff happens, you know. OP is the main thing rn, and until I am kinda up-to-date with that, everything else will have to wait lol

In terms of book stuff I must admit I keep going back to communities and fandoms I was a part of when I was a teen lol. This largely refers to stuff like Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugho, The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater and All for the Game by Nora Sakavic

Right now though I am more interested in reading some classics and other stuff. Read Britney Spears' biography last year (within the span of one day, I wanna add), currently I'm reading a chapter of Crime and Punishment once in a blue moon. I'd like to read more stuff like that in the future, but everything at it's time ig

Other fictional universes I was once quite unhinged about: Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings. Both communities are kinda dead atm though. I'm still in the process of reading the books (which means I last picked them up over a year ago. But believe me, I'll get there, eventually.... someday)

In terms of music as I said I listen to almost anything. Not a lot of rap and techno, though. I like stuff with lyrics I can sing along to and feel deep within my bones. I wouldn't call myself a "fan" of any particular artist, I was very unhinged about musicians as a teen and I have learned my lesson. Now I just listen to the music without caring too much about the artist themselves. I used to really like 5 Seconds of Summer as a teen, then I moved to Kpop. Now I barely keep up with either but just listen to the stuff I did back then

I think that's basically it for now? The most important parts about myself. Stuff I like to talk about, so if you like some of this too, maybe come talk to me? I wanna get to know people here after all, and I have learned this is probably the best way to start.

I don't have many conditions for friends tbh. I'm 22, so anything between like 19 and 26 or so is fine as long as the vibes are good :) I don't care about genders and all that, personally going by she/her. I'm a Taurus, in case someone wants to know. Last time i took the test I was an infp-t (still think it's pretty accurate but it's been a few years nd I heard that test isn't as accurate? idk)

Other things you should maybe know is that English is not my native language, so excuse any mistakes you might come across lol. I dropped out of university. My profile picture kinda captures my most basic features.

hey... hey psst. psst. kim dokja. i keep thinking about him because he really seems like the kind of guy i like. time loop guy with a dissociation metaphor thing going on??? and also a play on the self-insert trope?? that's all i REALLY know i think. i dunno how you feel about these kinds of questions but im curious to hear ur thoughts on him. i might never get into orv because the length of it alone requires a grindset of some sort even if you end up in the hyperfixation trenches i feel like, which is something i've been going through with MY game but like. it looks more intimidating when you're not already into it i think. in any case would u ever wanna talk about him...

KIM DOKJA OH MY GOD

you don't even know what you're doing to me rn. if anything I have Too Many thoughts about him it's actually insane.

idk what level of detail I should talk about him at since you said you aren't sure if you'll get into orv but like. ouuughhh kim dokja. need to study him in a controlled environment so bad.

okay but here's the thing about him. it's not really a time loop or at least that's not exactly the biggest part of the angst here though it is partially. especially its about yoo joonghyuk (protagonist) regressing every time he dies and one day kim dokja (reader(orv mc)) shows up and changes the timeline and makes things go better than they ever had but also he won't stop dying because he so desperately wants what he thinks is the Best Ending and that ending had yoo joonghyuk and everyone else happy and away from the apocolypse but that ending never included Him and it's so fucked.

yoo "you fool, if I regress will I meet you again?" joonghyuk and kim "it was a good story, wasn't it yoo joonghyuk?" mother fucking dokja. they need to be stopped. but then they can't just have me be insane over them because here comes han "this story is for that one reader" sooyoung who will do Anything to save kim dokja even when he won't let her and the THEMES oh they are delicious. yoohankim make me so sick it's crazy

the never ending cycle of sacrifice turned self-sacrifice, I was made for you I made you I was made for you, the truth of omniscient reader's viewpoint was that it was never going to end well no matter how desperately they wanted it to happen.

Kim dokja will never let himself be saved, yoo joonghyuk will never stop searching for him, han sooyoung will never stop trying to be his savior. Kim dokja doesn't see himself as worthy of their love he doesn't think he is necessary but when he's gone they just fall apart. Mr. International Terrorist and Ms. Interdimensional Mass Murderer. That one reader who they did all of this for. who they spent thousands of regressions, hundreds of years, unknowable numbers of timelines trying so hard to save. and even after all of that, after the pain and the memory wipes and the separations and the death and just. everything. it will never be enough. Because this is a story for that one reader and he will never stop reading. he will never come back to reality. Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is a trap of yoohankim's own desperate making. their collective failure to save each other like they saved everyone else is actually astounding.

Kim dokja is everyone we are all kim dokja etc etc, on his deathbed (one of many) he once made the one that he loves most kill him and everyone had just spent multiple chapters fighting to figure out who it was and it was so clear all along that it was painful. the usage of reading skills to tell the story of orv is so cool, the way that you can feel the foreboding energy through every word leading up to it, i fall apart over this book istg. you can clearly tell I have no coherent thoughts on them from this lmao.

also the themes around suicide and healing and regression (haha) and forgiveness and unhealthy love that burrows into your skin and wraps tightly around your bones and death and life and also there is a scene where kim dokja litterally says "eat the dirt yoou joonghyuk." and yjh does and I felt like I needed to be put down like a dog because I was laughing so hard while also crying over literally everything else going on. there is a point where the novel subtly changes from first to third person to signify the effects of something and when I realized it I literally broke down sobbing but it's so amazing like this story really takes advantage of its medium to tell the story it wants to tell. the story for that one reader. also the fourth wall is a actual character in this and its literally amazing, sassy shit who calls kim dokja out on his bullshit while also helping him. they go to a library and I kid you not I have never felt so heartbroken over two characters in my life than I did when one of the children kdj took in as his own acknowledged that he had become a side character type at one point in the novel and that kdj didn't love him as much as the other kid bc he was right it was true he did get pushed off and no one said anything because that's just expected when these types of long books have a pretty decently sized main cast but like in context the usage of this trope only to use it for character writing later was just evil and wrecked me.

the real kim dokja was the diagnosis I got along the process of reading this damn novel

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

Joker: peak gender. he's just a silly funny little guy. a little goofball. a fool. you can even say he's a— a— a jok— [gets shot]

Akechi: HOO BOY be glad i am fresh off exams and brain fried and also not currently hyperfixated on p5 rn because the way i can ramble in circles about this guy. just. him being a foil to every phantom thief in some way, the commentary on the abuse children born out of wedlock face (especially in Japan), and. augh. he is a fascinating character because he has his shit together enough to be competent but not quite enough to realize that maybe his self-destruction isn't quite healthy. also third semester my beloved. there is something just so. deeply poetic about February 2nd. like. Akechi's sacrifice in Shido's palace was entirely on his own terms. he was finally doing something completely with his own agency. that decision was the first time he was completely and totally in control of his own life, and that is worth dying for. and then that's torn away from him in favor of some sweet saccharine reality where everyone is happy. sometimes i wonder if Maruki ever did anything for Akechi like he did for everyone else (besides bring him back from the dead). like. where is bro at in his free time. i've seen theories floating around that he avoids home because of his revived mother. which also brings me to the fact that Akechi sees LeBlanc as his home. man. i am now realizing that you can give a guy some anger issues and daddy issues and i will say they are my favorite character without hesitation. also yeah this man is not heterosexual.

Sumire: SUMIIIIIII MY GIRL. god you ever see a character on screen and go "haha that's me :D". cuz for me that was actually Makoto BUT Sumi is a very close second. i do think atlus bungled her execution a bit but that doesn't stop me from loving her. cuz like. yeah comparison is the thief of joy actually. especially when the object of comparison is someone close to you that you love a lot. some of Sumire's dialogue about her feelings toward Kasumi just. hit so fucking close to home. especially the "sometimes i even hated her. isn't that so awful of me?" (paraphrasing). girl i have been there and i Get It. it is rough. she was really relatable for me at the time so she is now blorbo from video game.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Joker: the faces and flourishes he does in the Metaverse. like slayyy king but also he is absolutely cringefail

Joker: ok so this one time i told my irl friend group to psychoanalyze me based on my favorite characters and one of my friends said that i perform the image i think other people expect of me when i said Joker and i have never financially recovered

Akechi: daddy issues. anger issues. masking so much that i'm not sure who i really am anymore

Sumire: oh i talked about this one. uh haha yeah i also had a period in my life where i was depressed about not being able to compare to other people.

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

Joker: i would like to thank the fans that address his trauma regarding police brutality, y'all doing god's work. also Joker's gender is. it exists (?). shoutout to the 5 gajillion gender headcanons that are all canon at the same time in my head

Akechi: the headcanon that he has shit eyesight is so fucking funny to me. imagine the pissbaby rant in Shido's palace but with "AND YOU DON'T EVEN NEED GLASSES WHILE I SPEND SO MUCH MONEY ON MY CONTACTS" tacked on at the end. also giving him longer hair

I thought i might take the time to tell tumblr abt my trollsonas >0< ( i don't have drawings but bear with me on visualizing.) im gonna be listing the traits of em with the little dots bc i dont feel like writing a paragraph rn

Cynfael ( goth/grunge troll)

Physical appearance:

Gray skin, green eyes, black and red hair ( Kinda like the chunky highlights) with a wolfcut :3

when not wearing goth clothing, fae is usually dressing comfy or grunge.

he has a septum, a few ear piercings, tongue, and the left eye brow done.

while being originated from a pop mom and a country dad, Fae has came to love the grunge and goth genres MAJORLY, but don't be surprised if he plays some Luke Bryan or lady gaga.

Personality:

Sarcastic, flirty, pretty dirty-minded, playfully mean.

loves to hang around the country trolls because of how chill they are, but counts on barb for a good concert or party.

Pronouns and sexuality: He/They and bisexual ( leans towards men,but a true gentleman to woman‼)

maybe i should finally make an intro post

Maybe I should make a post that like... tells people who happen across my blog who I am and what I’m about. That sounds like a good idea.

I’ve never been good at intros but... hi, my name is Honret, or RatlessHonret, or AirOfRatlessness, or KindaChaoticGood, or IWantToLivePlease, or... whatever else I’ve gone by before. But Honret is my main online name rn.

I’m a chronically online, fandom-obsessed they/them who will physically fight to defend any characters I love. My biggest hyperfixation is Danganronpa, but I have several (if several means many) others that I will list at the bottom of this post.

ADHD, at least mine, has like. 5 levels of interest: hyperfixation, interested, indifferent, uninterested and the final one: "asdddd I don't get HOW anyone can be SO interested in this thing??????"

It's so bizarre, because it's such a strong emotion for me. Some things I just find so absolutely uninteresting that I honestly don't understand why anyone can find that thing so interesting. But: I also don't mind. You do you and so on, but it's very frustrating when a friend or so has an interest that is like the biggest uninterest ever to you. Cos sure you want to be polite and let them hype, but it's so damn difficult to focus and honestly, I often do say it out loud if something is a major uninterest to me cos I just am not able to listen to what is said. And I'm not even interested in hearing, cos it's almost like a major turn-off if that word can be used in this sense. I just feel my brain throwing a tantrum because it doesn't want to hear a WORD about that Uninteresting Thing.

Rn this was triggered by a video game that everyone but me seems to be interested in. I can't escape it because people bring it up everywhere like it was the weather. It's become so normal, a part of so many people's everyday life that they probably don't even think there might be people out there who are not interested in that game.

Often my Ultimate Uninterest is, actually, formed this way. It starts as indifferent or uninteresting, but then I keep seeing and/or hearing (about) it everywhere and suddenly it has become something that makes me want to break things because of how Uninteresting it is. Like, on a way different level of uninteresting that feels like mental eyeroll 24/7 and can even make me feel angry because of how underwhelmed I get by it being so uninteresting.

if you want him to take a shower youll probably have to spend 30 minutes wrangling him into the bathroom to do so

very sensitive to temperature, along with the textures of things.!

would probably spend a good 5 minutes adjusting the water of a shower to make sure its the perfect warmth before hopping in

fidgets a lot and is really bouncy if that makes sense.

his fashion sense ranges from absolute dogshit to somewhat decent. usually ends up wearing some random shirt and shorts though

yes, this means that he doesnt wear the silly link clothes everyday. he thinks that theyre uncomfy and always changes into something else as soon as possible. he keeps the green colour scheme though

probably goes to thrift stores with jeff to get a laugh out of the stupid shirts they end up finding

Every day i am some level closer to just. Burning capitalism down. Yeah! If mihoyo aint gonna look after em than i will. Cant wait for noelle hangout pt 3 where she & lumine just. Go on more dates. Every day the one ending of them under the windrise tree, noelle holding a rose lives rent free in my head. Same with the one where noelle studies & lumine gives her such a soft look. Sadly i think faruzan gets the next hangout though. So who knows when the rest will get more. Never heard that song but those are wise words indeed. Ive been a supporter of problematic women since i was a homestuck fan & that will never change. Hu tao is like. A cat with zoomies is the best way i can describe her style. She's fun in teams with yelan. Entirely fair i usually do when the whim strikes me but most of the time im busy or going on hiking trails. Ooooh please do i would love to see some pictures from norway. Honkai has hot women thats how it got me. But friends getting you into media is so powerful a force. Goodness, the list is so basic rn...! I kinda plan for my energy levels and the relative timeframe, but when I knew i was double-booked IRL for 2 weeks....i figured I would need time to recover.

The basic plan has been;

Develop the stardew verse/play stardew. when it was new to me, it was my biggest hyperfixation and soared in hours, so I knew....update time meant lots of playtime. i let myself have this, even if it means a shift in vibes. it's healthy, aka multi-multi.

get to know the gaggle of ocs/ that i just followed! Familiarizing with new mooties is an all the time thing, but every so once in a while I add like, a wholeass mini-community/smol group which changes the pace/vibe of my dash. so. that happened! a few fighting game blogs, too!

so most things IC have been coincidental. I think before stardew dropped i was thinking....maybe career/pregnancy/college shit for pokefelix.

but atm i been cookin, and to an extent, streaming. I assume I'll have ideas for 'real' plots once i have actual days off again.

it started more than a year ago, on 8 june 2022, when i first saw him. i already knew him before i started watching one piece, but obviously i happened to like him a lot more after watching it. i only started having the biggest puppy crush during this month, after being confused on which character was my absolute favourite, and he conquered my heart. he means a lot to me, he's a comfort character and when i see content about him i become so happy. he helps me during hard times, and i love drawing and writing about him so much! he's so important to me!!!
